Good morning everyone, welcome to today's vlog. Now we have a few packages I've been waiting so long for and I'm so happy they literally came right on time. So we are gonna crack these open and we are gonna start today's vlog. So sit back, relax, leave the video a thumbs up, it takes one second and I really appreciate it. Let's go. These is what I've been waiting for, right? So basically I finally got a camera upgrade. I went for the Sony A6500. Again, I was gonna buy the A7S II or the A7R III, which I just saw Max Tuning got. I know, Max, you're forever the king of the sick angles. One day hopefully I'll be on your level. But a lot of people said, you know, for what I want to do, that it's kind of overkill. Keep in mind that I've gotten this far with usually just using a Canon M6 or Canon G7X for the most part, just a little handheld thing. I kind of like that as well. Like, I even got to my first 5 or 10,000 subscribers on a phone. So anyways, this is the camera I went for, along with a Sigma 30mm lens. I am just getting into this camera game. If you're familiar with Canon, it's kind of easier to work other Canons. I'm probably saying Canon wrong, Canon. But, and same with Sony. So this is my first Sony camera. I'm kind of looking forward to getting, getting the grips off it. So now this doesn't have that kind of selfie flip-up screen that I used to. So that is something that I'll need to get the hang of. But this is actually going to be more for getting cool cinematic B-roll, like making edits and things like that. So I'll probably get someone to record with this for me, or I'll be recording some nice scenes. I'll probably still be vlogging with this Canon camera right here. So now let's get dressed, let's get shaved, and let's hit up Dublin Airport because we're going to Manchester. I've made it to Dublin Airport. I'm just gonna leave the car in the short-term car park. We are gonna make a run for this flight now. Thankfully I'm not checking in any bags, so we should make it. See you guys in Manchester. Chat in a little bit. Well, hey there! We are now in Manchester, up on the 3rd floor, about to check out the hotel room. Hey there! I love when people see you vlogging, they're like, this guy is insane. All right. Oh, would you look at that! To Rob, welcome back to Myprotein. Really excited to have you here and be part of our QI campaign. That is some presentation. So I'm settled in and I have not worked out today, so Joe is gonna come over and the two of us are gonna hit a workout. I am also gonna bring my new Sony to the workout. I think Joe is bringing us to a really cool new gym— not a new gym, it's like an old-school gym. Either way, I'm gonna get some cool footage and I'm really excited to try out this new camera. I'm hoping there's some setting on the new camera that will make it look like I lift. Please God, good to see you again. It's been too long. All right, we're here outside some moody looking warehouse in Manchester. It's dark, it's wet, it's dirty. That is how I like it. It sounds so bad. I do love these type of gyms though.
There's something about you, I feel inside me. There's something about you, I want to trust you, but you made it hard to. I'm analyzing, there's something about you. Last night, something don't feel right. Don't put up a fight. This feeling I don't like. What did you expect? You don't make no sense. It's not in my head, 'cause I'm on to you and I'm on fire. Something inside you, something about you. I feel inside me, there's something about I won't trust you, you made it hard to. I'm analyzing, there's something about you.
Something about you!
Something about— something about you? Nothin' 'bout you... Somethin' abouuut yoooohh!
Soooyyeeeahhh! Sowwyehhhh! Sowyeeeahhh! Soyaaaaaayyyeaaahhh!
All right, so that was no joke, one of the best gyms I've ever been to in my entire life. Is that a fair statement? I think it's fair, man. I think it is. And the lighting is also sick, so we took some photos. And again, if I just did some pump work. We fooled around on all the different crazy machines. So now we're going for a mandatory Nando's because that's what gym heads do. Yes, nice and empty. Those wings have never looked better. I'm so hungry. You happy? Thank the good sweet Lord the food has arrived because I'm about to die. Check it, we played it sensible because look at all that greenery. That's health right there. Then we got the sweet potatoes. For potassium. And then we got the butterfly chicken. We didn't go for the half chicken or the full chicken, too much, too much bones going on. This is, this is pure right here. And then Joe did something similar. Yeah, I'm on the turbo bulk, mate. He's on the turbo bulk. So got me 6 wings coming, doing the wing challenge just for himself. Could eat this, finish up the vlog, and then I'm up at 7 AM tomorrow. So it's gonna be a long day creating content Myprotein. I'll see you guys then. Keep it real. Yo, good morning. We're up bright and early. I gotta be down reception for 7 AM. Usually I'm a positive guy, but one thing I do not like about the winter is when you wake up in the morning and it's freaking dark outside still. Hey, look, positive thoughts. It's gonna get bright at some stage. But so I'm gonna get dressed now, and I've of course got a can of Monster for the morning. So I'm gonna neck this bad boy, get dressed, and have an amazing day.
Thank you.
Yes, grand. Okay, so we just made it to the kind of studio. Apparently I'm on photos first. Setup looks pretty cool. I see coffee over there, so we're set. These are the people that I often work with, so I recognize and know a lot of the staff, so it's gonna be awesome. You've all got your sections and we'll just rotate you all. Ideal, perfect. Sweet. And the girls will give you what clothes to wear as well. This place is pretty cool. So one of the other Myprotein ambassadors is an Olympic gymnast, Max Whitlock. So I presume that is what that is for. I don't know if I'll be as good as him on the ropes or on the rings, but we'll see, we'll see. Rob Lipsett for the Olympics 2020. This is my favorite part, I just pretend it's not.
I'm like, oh no, time for makeup.
Alright, so this is outfit number 1. Alright, so this is the set for today. We've got some dumbbells and barbells, so I'm gonna warm up just as if I'd be about to begin a workout, and then we're gonna get some cool images as well. Seen some of the work that this photographer has produced before, and I'm so excited, so let's get into it. Alright guys, so that is location 1 wrapped up. We did a photo shoot and they came out so well. Usually I actually don't like professional photo shoots. I think they can look a little bit tryhard, they can look a little bit overdone, but that was perfect. They looked really cool. The crew, everything was just like chilled and we had a laugh, which is the most important thing. So now we're in this, this car that looks like an airplane. Looks like we're in first class. And we're in second location and we're doing a little Q&A. So I'm gonna bring you along with me. I hope you lost us. Um, when you walk into the side door. So this is the second location. It looks pretty badass if you ask me. A very UK warehouse. I might even try to get some shots, some photos here myself, and then we're going to sit down and do this Q&A. And this is the camera we're using for any camera nerds out there. Take in that bad boy. Rob Lipsett, take 2, take 1. I love that thing. You have to get that on your blog. Yeah, yeah. I've made the big times when you have a little snappy clicky board. Hey, what's up? So my name is Rob Lipsett. I'm an online business owner, qualified personal trainer, and a fitness YouTuber. They may say, why are you putting videos of yourself on the internet? But it's like, I got nothing to lose. So oftentimes when you hit rock bottom, you just got nowhere else to go. So don't overthink it and just, you know, the only way is up. Have a laugh at it. It is time to take a lunch break. Look at this goodness right here. There's like some creamy beef. I see some peppers. I see some pinto beans, white rice. Amazing. So I'm absolutely starving.
Everyone's chilling here, having a nice time, getting something to eat. Then we're gonna crack on today.
So this is probably so zoomed in on me, not a good vlogging lens, but I'm just about to catch my flight home to Dublin. Great productive 24 hours.
