AM I MOVING TO LOS ANGELES ?

In this vlog, Rob Lipsett takes viewers on a day‑long adventure in Los Angeles with the Rise crew. He starts with a walk around the Hollywood Hills, tours the Rise Villa, and then heads to Ralph’s supermarket in Venice, highlighting the quirky differences between American and Irish grocery items (e.g., Cool Whip, macro‑friendly ice cream). Throughout the vlog he discusses a recurring fan question – whether he should move to LA – sharing his enthusiasm for the city’s energy while outlining practical hurdles such as visa limits and green‑card red tape, and proposing a split‑time plan between Ireland and LA. Rob meets up with entrepreneur Mark Fit, exchanging business insights and reinforcing his mantra about surrounding oneself with smarter, harder‑working people. The crew then proceeds to an Alphalete photo shoot in Venice, reviewing clothing fits (shorts, leggings) and capturing behind‑the‑scenes moments, including a ride in Marie’s Audi. The day ends with a dinner in Orange County where Rob orders garlic noodles and shrimp, showcases outfit swaps among the group, and reflects on feeling at home in LA. The vlog blends casual travel footage, lifestyle commentary, motivational advice, and brand mentions, offering a personal glimpse into Rob’s life and future relocation considerations.

What's going on everyone, welcome to today's vlog. So as you saw, we were just taking a walk around the Hollywood Hills just after the expo. After a hectic weekend, we want to relax, and I am with the Rise crew.
There you go, Mark, everyone, do you want to say hello?
Hello! And big congrats to these guys, they killed it this weekend. They had their own booth. We are just getting a Waba Grill, which is one of my favorite meals that I always get when I'm in LA. We're going to dig into this and catch up with you in a minute. Shrimpo, and then I went half and half. What would you go for? Half and half. Yeah, there's a whole fireplace there, a pool, hot tub, spa. Damn, it's very nice indeed. So right now we're in the Rise Villa and I'm getting a tour of the place, and I have to say they chose very well. The nice Digs. So I am venturing into the night, but I just realized I haven't vlogged all day today. Going for a little walk, so decided to whip out the camera. I'm staying with Amanda Bucci, Karen, and Sarah, of course, in Amanda's place in Venice. And I'm just nipping out and going down to Ralph's because they just want some stuff. Sarah and me want some ice cream. So yeah, I was like, I'm gonna take the camera with me and do a bit of vlogging and show you what I get in Ralph's because it's always a bit of fun doing grocery shopping in American places because like they just have the craziest shit. So we wanted to meet up with Mark Fit, Kath, his girlfriend, the Rise crew. And because I'm not even joking when I say Mark was one of my original lifting inspirations, so for me and him to just get to spend some quality time with each other, talk about business— he's a really smart guy, he runs a lot of different businesses, he's like an entrepreneur in every sense of the word. So it was honestly great, just pick his brain and just talk. And yeah, I say it like so much, just surround yourself with like-minded people, blah blah blah, and surround yourself with successful people, and it'll rub off on you. Surround yourself with people that are better than you, that are smarter than you, that work harder, that have better ideas, and it will rub off on you. It'll make you a better person. If you surround yourself with shitty people, it's going to drag you down. So yeah, awesome day today, but like I said, I didn't get to vlog much, so whipping out the camera now. Also didn't get to work out today, but it's fine. Like I said, when I'm traveling, I only really work out like 4 days a week. I'm nearly at the grocery store. Ralph's. I'll show you what I get when I get in there and, uh, yeah, see what I pick up. Another topic that I want to talk about, and it's something that appears in the comments a lot, and it's something that's always on my mind, and it's would I move to LA? The short answer is yes, 100%, absolutely. There's something about being in this place that inspires me, it motivates me, it gives off an energy, and it just makes me want more and makes me want to do more. And I think that's kind of— you can see that in my videos and when I'm vlogging and when I'm talking. But obviously there's a whole green card thing, there's a whole American citizen thing, so it's really— there's a lot of red tape. It's not so easy, but you can go to America for 90 days before you have to go home, before you get deported. So I should definitely look into like renting or Airbnb-ing a place for like 2 months at a time or something. But I think that's the best option because, you know, I do have a lot of opportunities in Ireland that I wouldn't like to walk away from. That's probably going to be my plan for the coming year. Always base myself in Ireland but do a lot of traveling, especially to LA. We made it. Here we are, Ralph's. Let's see what's going on. Get me straight to the ice cream section. Yeah, I think we're in the right place. Come at me, bro. This stuff is also the shit. Cool Whip. Cannot get that in Ireland. I feel like such a weirdo, losing my shit over the frozen goods section. Okay, we're here. There's like the ice cream section, then there's like the macro-friendly ice cream section. So some of this. 360 calories per pot. Pistachio, which is 240. Amanda asked me to pick up some cereal, so I'm gonna go for some French Toast Crunch. And before you make any jokes, I'm not gonna go for the Lucky Charms. Y'all racist. Successful trip to Ralph's. Now time to go back home. This is the right place. Yeah, see what the girls are up to. Starting today's vlog, we are walking to Venice to do a photo shoot with Alphalete. Weather is not on our side, but whatever. Quality of the photos will still be awesome. We got Emily, Christian, Marie, and it's like 8 or 9 AM. Could be earlier, but, uh, yeah, so let's get today cracking.
I want you guys to try these, and I think that these are finalized.
The leggings, the shorts, I think we need to take a little bit off the length.
Wait, guys or girls shorts?
These are girls.
Oh girl, I didn't know we're coming out with shorts.
Those looks high-waisted shorts, so I think we need to cut maybe, maybe 3/4 to an inch off.
Yeah, Rob, could you get some behind the scenes for me?
Yeah, will do. All right, so the weather just improved significantly, so now we're having a nice day. Marie just shot, I was before her, now Emily, and we're gonna get a few more.
I love it. Turn around. Yeah, the contour here is really nice. You can maybe even move it up a little bit.
Okay, so I move it up like maybe an inch. This view though.
Shoot wrapped up. We are in Marie's Audi. She's part of the Audi club as well. This is so nice.
What is it, an A3? S-line A3. A3.
It's like white, like mine as well. It's beautiful. That is the shoot wrapped up. The weather like picked up a little bit and it actually wasn't that cold, but it made for some really cool shots. And because it was so early, it was just like a really good start to the day. We're all just feeling kind of productive and we're buzzing off each other. So now Marie and Emily are giving me a lift back to Amanda's, back to Castle del buchi. I swear to God, like, I feel so at home here. It's, it's strange. Hello, friends. Sorry, it's me. Look at this. I don't think that was meant to be in there.
I don't think so either, but it's like a plastic, um, wrap on the coffee mug. Oh, Karen's gonna be so sad.
You ruined her mug. This is her Chicago mug.
Oh yeah, I'll give you my A cup. Oh no, I'm gonna give you this cup.
Thank you. I am just uploading the Rich Piana video. Uh, I think it's a really good vlog. I'm really happy with the way it turned out. Go a lot of different places in LA in it. I'm gonna steal one of Amanda's Bite Meals. That's a meal prep company she is with. As you can see, I'm still just making myself right at home here. Oh, this looks very good. This is Katie Heron's company. Yeah.
Kills it. They're like this suede and they're from Fashion Nova. My outfit for tonight is a H&M skirt that I got over here, Karen's top, and Amanda's jacket that she let me borrow from Zara.
We are going out to dinner. If you haven't guessed, we're all dressed to nines. Uh, we are going down this— GPS interrupted me. We are going to Orange County to a newly opened up restaurant, so I cannot wait to meet all my LA people and eat delicious food.
Your subscribers are going to tell you to put your seatbelt on.
Oh crap. And before anyone comments about it, I put my seatbelt on. We were just starting off there. Safety first, kids. I just got really hungry all of a sudden, so time to get in here, see what the menu's like. Oh yeah, sorry, I nearly burned you. So everyone just arrived there. Look at the crew. I'm not Arsene and everyone, but we are going to sit down and order now. And now, pretty damn hungry. I definitely nailed it with the order. I got some garlic noodles and shrimp, and it came just in time because I'm so hungry. First time ever having—
okay, okay, make sure you put some toppings on.
Okay, what toppings are we going to do? I'm like, how do I like, do I slurp?
You just slurp it, yeah. You have to get it.
Okay, okay.
Get in there, Ireland. Get in there, Ireland. Tilt your head back. Lean back. Oh, it's nothing.
It's good. I like it. Yeah! Excellent. I'm gonna eat all these.
And then also, uh, we're about to close the kitchen, so if you guys need anything else, just let Monica know. Okay? Thank you.
Thank you very much. That is a wrap to this vlog. I hope you enjoyed it. Keep it real. Finishing up here. Last full day in LA tomorrow, so let's make it a good one.
