Yo, what's going on YouTube? Back with another video. Now we are gonna rush off to TV3, somewhere in town, TV3, to somewhere in town because Expose, it's like the morning show in Ireland, they're doing a fitness segment. So I think I'm like showing people how to use a treadmill or something easy. It'll be fine, it's all bit of fun anyways. So seeing as I'm in a rush, I am not gonna have breakfast. I'm also trying to wind back my calories a little bit because took the piss over the weekend, to be honest. So So I'm just gonna fast and have one of these. So it's an energy drink with BCAAs, and this is actually the company that I'm going to FIBO with. I've been drinking these for ages if you like look back at my really old videos. So that's cool. It's time to hit the road. Okay, here we go. Let's go. Hey, look, everyone say hi to the vlog. Hiya! There we go. See, it's easy to vlog. Great. Yeah, yeah, just like that. Okay, leaving this funky place. The weather in Dublin is still absolutely beautiful, so that's a nice productive start of the day. Now I gotta hit the gym. I gotta hit the gym bad. Thank you to Elvrys or Nike Ireland, whoever it is, for the new pair of Creps. They seem like pretty solid, so they'd be good for lifting in. Popping into my mates in Cut and Sew because yes, gotta rock a fresh fade on the regular. Hey lads, you well? What's the crack? No rush, take your time. Shoot for TV3 done, fade topped up, and now no one's gonna get arsed. So if you are looking to get same haircut as me, just literally Google search Brad Pitt Fury haircut. Um, that's what I get, it's like a high fade. Or no joke, you can go into Cut and Sew and just ask for the Rob Lipsett. I swear to God they'll give it to you. Anyways, the day is getting on, so I want to go to the gym before I kind of lose any more energy. So let's go do it. Oh man, it is like what, 4 o'clock? Only getting to the gym now. I've got to be somewhere at 6, so there's probably going to be a rushed session again. And, and I've got another one of these into me. You know, like usually I never take pre-workout after 2, 3 PM, so you know I'm taking a walk on the wild side. When I'm taking caffeine at 4 PM, but it's been kind of a long day, so I gotta soldier on. On top of that, I also gotta record this session for you guys, and I got to, uh, take a few photos for these guys too. So anyways, let's, let's hurry on. Cheers, bro. Alright, workout complete, and I'm absolutely delighted with that. So I did a bit of autoregulation there, went in, did my first set of bench, and it was feeling so good. So I ended up doing like a lot of volume just because I just kept being able to do set after set and even bumped it up to 105 or 110 kg. I did 5 sets of 10. So that was without a doubt a volume pure or rep pure for me. So that workout was definitely fueled by burgers and cocktails. Yeah, so I'm happy with that. Time to head home, get something to eat, and then I got some cool plans for this evening if I have time. Another quick one I want to just quickly talk about, I go over this in my ebook. It's just like a quick little mention that the more advanced you get in training, the more your volume needs will go up. So when I first started this channel, you probably see me doing like 3 sets of 6 or 3 sets of 8, and now some of my exercises can go up to like 5 sets of 10. Um, so that's just how it is. Volume needs to increase over time. You need to provide a new stimulus. At the end of the day, total workload or total volume, the amount of weight you lift in total, is going to be a huge defining factor in gaining muscle. Also, I just looked back on some of that lifting footage there, and this is why it is great to record yourself. Don't be afraid to do it. Uh, most gyms are fine, especially if you ask permission, beforehand. Even all the powerlifters and the weightlifters in my gym all record their lifts to make sure their technique's on point. But with my bench press there, I need to control the weight a little bit more, slow down the tempo on the way down. But the fact that I'm able to throw around that weight for so many sets and reps is definitely good. The way I progress in my lifts is I'll pick a weight and then I'll keep working up reps and sets until it's really easy and I'm throwing around, and then I'll increase the weight on the bar and then I'll lower down the sets and reps and then keep going from there. It's a really, really simple progression method, uh, that I know I've mentioned it on this channel before, and a lot of people have tried it out and seen great results with it. So increase sets and reps until you're in the higher rep range, such as, you know, 3 to 4 to 5 sets of 10 to 12, and then increase the weight on the bar, and then lower it back down to maybe 3 sets of 8, and then work from there. Another tip is that tempo isn't the most important factor in gaining muscle and strength and size, but it is good to control the weight, keep it consistent, so you minimize as much variables as possible. This way. Yeah, you're in it again, bro. Oh, whoa, that'll get you. All right guys, so update on how today is going. Basically, someone from the Aviva got in contact last minute. They're like, do you want the best seats in the house to go see Ireland v Iceland in football, which is soccer for my American audience? So we're going in this crazy way now, and apparently, apparently we're going out onto the pitch. Oh, it's Will again, by the way. Yeah, he was in the last vlog. He loved it. President's suite. So if the president comes in— I'm gonna run for president in a couple of years. Now this is epic. Alas, the afternoon is over. Irish Player of the Year recently, so I thought he may have featured, but again chances for the likes of Hurrihan, McGeady, McLean, and Doyle up top on his own again, so it's a fairly strong side. Alright guys, so I'm here with Alf Warren who is one of the best McGregor impersonators I've ever seen, so we're gonna do a little interview here. So what do you think of the upcoming Floyd Mayweather match? Is it gonna happen?
I mean, he's there saying that I'm the B-side. Look, Floyd's last few fights, his ratings have been absolutely shocking. I mean, the guy has been shocking compared to me. Look at my last few fights, I broke all sorts of records for the UFC. So I mean, Floyd, Floyd is the B-side. I'm the A-side in this, and I'll be getting that $100 million. I'd be getting that €100 million, Floyd. I bet you I'd be getting all of it. Every single cent. Hahaha. Well, so Rob Lipsett, very nice to meet you.
Absolutely a pleasure. Absolute pleasure. Alright boys and girls, so Ireland lost to Iceland 1-0. Like, ugh, whatever, okay. So the match sucked, but that box was really fun. Met some really cool people and just had a really good time. And again, networking is something I try to do as much as possible whenever I get the time. And it's something that I recommend doing. I actually ended up getting in two kind of like spur-of-the-moment business meetings there with two massive companies. So that's awesome. Again, so I encourage you to network, get out there into the world as much as possible. And I also got to spend some time with some friends as well. So in today's vlog, we got up in the morning, did a video shoot for TV3, we hit the gym, hit a bench press, pure, went to the Ireland match, went in a box in the Aviva Stadium for the first ever time, and Just had a productive day in general. So smash that like button. I'll see you in the next one. Keep it real. Peace.
