BODYBUILDING GROCERY HAUL 2019 | Full Abs And Leg Day

In this January 2019 vlog, Rob Lipsett kicks off the year with a high‑energy leg and ab workout, shares his New Year’s resolutions, and takes viewers through a detailed grocery haul. He outlines a structured leg‑day routine (barbell squats, goblet squats, leg press, quad extensions, hamstring curls, calves, and ab work), emphasizing the importance of planning workouts like a “plan of attack.” After the gym, he reveals a long list of personal and professional goals for 2019—including a 30‑videos‑in‑30‑days challenge, reaching one‑million subscribers, expanding his Creator Agency into a social‑media marketing firm, launching a 30‑day mini‑cut challenge via his Rob Lipsett Fitness app, limiting social outings, focusing on flexible dieting, pursuing higher‑quality brand deals, buying property in Dublin, traveling monthly, and eventually releasing his own supplement line. The grocery segment breaks down his purchases by protein, carbs, veg, fruit, and treats, provides macro information (e.g., lamb escalope: 3 g fat, 0 g carbs, 21 g protein per 100 g), discusses cost (€60‑€65 total), and debunks nutrition myths (frozen veg, balsamic vinegar calories). Throughout, Rob mixes instructional tone with personal anecdotes, motivational pep talks, and brief rap interludes, ending with a home‑cooked stir‑fry and a call for viewers to share their resolutions.

Time to get pumped, time to get pumped! First vlog of 2019! Oh my god, I have never been more motivated in my life, and I know that's such a cliché thing. You're like, New Year's, okay, but right, it's like, I know it's just another day on the calendar, I know it's just another month, okay, but it's the only time of the year where everyone is collectively just in this positive mood, okay? And it does create a vibe everywhere you go. Everyone is pumped up to change themselves for the better. So I, for one, I'm all for the New Year's resolutions, right? Some people hate on them, some people say, you know, you'll never stick to this. I like anyone who's making a conscious effort to better themselves, right? So I'm pumped up as well. And one of my goals— I'll talk to you in the gym about my New Year's resolutions, I'll tell you guys, I'll let you in on it— but one of them that's at the top of the list is to make more YouTube videos. So I've got myself a little team this month, and that's what we are gonna do. So right now we're on the way to the gym to film a full leg workout. There's gonna be sick angles, gonna be cinematic, but it's also gonna be informative and show you guys exactly what to do. It's gonna be legs and abs, it's gonna be a great workout. And then afterwards we're gonna do our New Year's grocery shop because I know you guys love grocery shopping and it's the start of the year, so you know, you want that fresh fridge full of nice groceries pretty much. So alright, let's have an amazing day. Give the video a thumbs up. Here's to an epic year. So another big tip that I have is when you go into the gym, plan out exactly what you're gonna do. It's like, you see so many people, they're walking around aimlessly, and like, you know, it does look a bit silly, but it's also wasting your time. It's kind of like if you're on a night out, when you're in a nightclub and you see someone like wandering around aimlessly and they just look lost, you're like, you wanna go in there with a plan of attack. So that's exactly what we're doing here. Yes, I just compared the club to the gym. Anyway, so I'm writing out my workout here. Again, all my workouts are from my app. Rob Lipsett Fitness app. I'll link that down below. So what we've got going on is we got barbell squats, goblet squats, and leg press. They're gonna be our main compound movements. Then we're gonna have some quad extensions, some hamstring curls, and then some calves, and finish off with some abs. So the main thing that you want to concentrate on is your main compounds of the day, and then after that, isolation work. So right, barbell squats, Rob, let's get it! First squat session of 2019, pray for me.
In my life seen trouble, hustle on the double, silence on the trigger like my pig got a muzzle, yo chick like To guzzle, bad boy, stay in trouble. I only love this paper, sorry. I laugh, me baby, bust it open, bring it back. I'm the realest killer in it, I don't even need to act. Throwing up the racks, I'm just throwing up the racks, baby. Stack it to the ceiling, see we balling with the sack. Money comes, money goes, but I never lose my flow. I ain't messing with these hoes, just messing with my bros. Now you messing with a pro. Never stressing over the dough, it's a blessing. Now I know my team winning, it's for sure. Now I know my team winning, it's for sure.
That's how you know you're going hard when your belt literally breaks. So now I'm not going to do a drop set. So I'm going to take off 20 kg here and then just wrap out on 100 kg as many as possible. 2 more, come on! 2 more! After this, now we're going to go on to either goblet squats or leg press. Leg press is taken, so probably goblet squats. That's another thing, it's like, you know, if you're trying to save some time in the gym, it's not going to make the world of difference if you do one compound for another or one isolation for another. All right, scrap the last piece and leg press is free. Alright guys, so it is the first vlog of 2019, so it's only right that I share with you my New Year's resolutions. And some people, they'd like to keep that to themselves, could be some personal goals they have, but I share everything with you guys, to be honest. So I'm just gonna come out and say them. So it's in no order, but at the top of my list is make more YouTube videos. I'm not gonna say I'm gonna do daily vlogs, but I'm gonna give it a shot. I've set myself a goal. To 30 videos in 30 days, which is a lot. I've never ever done that before, ever. So, you know, I'm all about trying something new and, you know, challenge accepted. I'm putting it out there, whatever. We'll give it a go. I got a good team with me. I got the boy Yaya here and then I also got an editor. His name is Blaz. I'll put his username on the screen so that you guys can get to know them a little bit better and even give them feedback too, 'cause that's what we're all about. So first goal is make more YouTube videos. It is also something that's been playing on my mind. Is what would my younger self say to me now? Like, back in the day when I was getting 1,000 views per video, I had, you know, under 10,000 subscribers, like, and I was just so keen to make videos. And now it's like, once you get a couple hundred thousand, you get content with yourself. My younger self would slap the shit out of me right now. He'd be like, what the fuck are you doing? It's like, you've got this amazing platform. You should be making videos every day. You should be using it. So my younger self would kick my current self ass. Okay? So that's something that plays on my mind. So with that, I want to get to a million subscribers as well. Now, like, you know, whether I get 100,000 subscribers this year, whether I get 1,000, or whether I get to a million, you know, I'll be happy regardless. But set yourself high goals, and if you fall short, that's still great. All right, last set, big set, as the man Steve Cook says. But so when you're on that final set and you're starting to feel a little bit tired, that is when you're going to make progress. That's when you got to to dig deep, and that's what's going to separate you from getting results, significant results. It's all right, let's work the effort. Come on! I want to turn the Creator Agency into a social media marketing agency. I'm gonna go a little bit further, you know, into more detail on that. But right now it's an events agency. We organize and put on events. We bring content creators together to, you know, show people how they got to where they were. I want to get more involved with other companies too, so more on that. I want to limit going out to about once a month, you know. Yeah, yeah, I do love going out. I'm a social guy, but it can take up a lot of time, especially if you go hard. You know, you're lying in bed on Sunday, you're not like fully right and thinking clearly till Tuesday, and like that's half the week. So I want to limit going out, or even like go out and just don't drink alcohol. I got the squat, so I'm gonna grab a dumbbell. I'll demonstrate how to do it in a second. Hold it like so, and again, it's going to be movement that works mainly quads. Put more effort into my app, so there's a 30-day challenge that I'm going to be launching either tomorrow or the next day. Stay tuned to my Instagram stories for that. Now, my app, it's— I'm really proud of it. It has transformed so many people, and I just want to use it even more. So I want to plan out more viral content, and viral content does take planning. Uh, it's not— sometimes it can happen by chance, yes, but a lot of times when you see a viral video, there's a lot of thought and effort going into that. Find a good girl to settle down with. We'll see. You can't choose, like, you know, finding your dream partner, you know. It's like when people are like, when you want to get married? When do you have kids? You really don't know. So that's not something I'm really planning on. Would be nice though. Do less brand deals, but do bigger ones. So again, you know, a lot of times in the content creation world or the influencer world— I don't like the word influencer, but anyways, it's easy to, you know, there's a brand that comes your way. It's like you like the brand, you would wear it, but you're not crazy about it. So I want to do brand deals with brands that I'm more into. You know, I've never actually promoted a brand that I don't like, but I want to get with less brands and do more that I love. Buy a house, that's one. You know, I might want to buy a house in Dublin, rent it, and then live abroad for a while. So I've got live in LA for 3 months. I've also got that down here, but we'll see on that. Again, that's a huge decision. And then travel at least once a month. We got that in the bag. We're already going to Miami and Dubai this month, so we should be good to go with that. And then a few destinations lined up there. Launch my own supplement line. I think you guys can guess what's coming there. So that is my goals, my resolutions, what I want to take up in 2019. And there's a kind of few things that I want to give up there. But yeah, that's it. Comment down below your resolutions. I genuinely would love to hear them. Oh my god. Alright, we finished. Yeah, yeah, that's it. Yeah, it's alright. 3 compounds. We did barbell squats, leg press, goblet squats. We did quad extensions, hamstring curls, calves, and then 2 ab exercises. Yeah, that's the solid leg workout. First leg workout of 2019 done, people.
Boom!
Now we are gonna get some groceries because you guys like that. So let's go. Alright, people, so we are about to go into Aldi, do our January grocery shop. But it is extremely busy, so you're about to get a time-lapse. 3, 2, 1, let's go shopping! Alright people, so grocery shop done. I love just having food in the house. It's just a nice feeling. Very grateful for it. So I've kind of like divided everything I got into sections. So this is like protein. Veggies, carbs over there, and fruit over there. So let's start with protein. Okay, so my main kind of protein sources are, of course, protein powder. I probably have 2 scoops of this a day. Discount code is Lipsett on ghostlifestyle.com. Little 2-second plug, that's all it is. And then here we got turkey sausages, peppered sirloin steaks, some Irish diced beef steak, and then some lamb escalopes. Usually lamb is not lean at all, we check the macros there, and per 100 grams it is 3 fat, 0 carb, and 21 protein. So that's solid. So, you know, always kind of check. You could be getting like not a lean part of, you know, the beef, the beef fillet, or the lamb. So just have a look at the nutrition labels because, uh, like there's so many times like you could be eating something for weeks, weeks, not seeing results, and you're like, your calories are actually way off. So I am actually going to be going back to tracking macros now. Really excited for that. These are kind of like shredding groceries because I want to do a 30-day mini cut this month, and more on that later. So again, we've 10 large fresh eggs. You know, I'll usually have in the morning like 2 whole eggs and then 3 egg whites. I'll just divide them up. Smoothie mix, onions, some frozen green beans, frozen broccoli. You can eat frozen vegetables, people, okay? It's allowed. It actually locks in the nutrients. It's perfectly fine. Some people think when you put something in a microwave, it makes it lose all its nutrients. Not true, okay? That is a myth. We got some bananas. I use these to add to smoothies. Some seasoning, balsamic vinegar and chili and sea salt. Some people— I remember me and Max Tuning had this argument. He thought balsamic vinegar had no calories. It does. It's low in calories, but it does have a little bit of carbs there. On to the pizzas. Now, you might be kind of surprised to see this here, but all pizzas are not created equally, okay? It's not the same as getting like a huge family mega deal at Domino's. Again, I know exactly what I'm putting into my body when you keep a food diary, and per half of a pizza is 357 calories, so the whole thing is around 700 calories. You can easily fit that into your diet. And we do have evidence, we do have proof that if you're more flexible on your diet, you incorporate foods you love, you're gonna have long-term results. You're gonna have much longer-lasting, better results. So that is like a big part of my book as well, Flexible Dieting. So here we got these little yogurts. Strawberry, raspberry, and passion fruit. We've got some blueberries, we've got some olives. I'm gonna add these to salad, which brings us over to a mixed leaf salad bowl. Oats, mushrooms, and then stir-fries. These are absolutely key. Just get some beef, get the stir-fry, throw it all into a wok, and such an easy meal to make. Then we've got some random stuff like bin bags. Don't, don't eat this, okay? This is not on the grocery list. And so you guys, like, because I know you're from all over the world, from America, the UK, so you'd like to see what this costs. So all of this, including this stuff, so maybe a little bit less, all this was €64.94. So not including that, I'd say all this food was under €60. So again, pretty good value. Uh, cook your own food more often if you want to save money. And that is it, that is the grocery shop. Like the video, give it a thumbs up, and yeah, we're gonna chill for the evening. Yo, what is going on everyone? So I've dropped Yaya at home and right now I'm just making off a beautiful stir-fry. I hope you can hear me over that. I'm about to add this to it. So anyways, guys, I hope you enjoyed today's vlog. I am bringing it back to where the channel first started, you know, leg workout with some groceries, some tips and tricks in there, my New Year's resolution. I enjoyed making this vlog, I enjoyed filming it, so I hope you guys enjoyed watching it, and I hope it helps you, you know, start off your year on the right foot. So I'm going to finish things up here. I'm so excited for all these videos. That I'm gonna make in January. I've got them written down, I've got topics and videos and things I want to cover. And yeah, I'm just pumped, and I hope you guys are too. So I'll see you tomorrow. Keep it real. I love you guys. I'm so hungry, and this looks amazing. See you in the next one. Peace.
