Building the Biggest Run Club in Europe | Marbella Day in the Life

In this vlog, Rob Lipsett chronicles the one‑year anniversary of Run Club Marbella, a fitness community he founded a year ago that has grown from nine participants to a sold‑out event of 150 attendees. The video opens with a brief lift session before heading to the exclusive Puente Romano venue, where the day unfolds with a warm‑up, a group run to Coro Coro, and a return finish at Rachel's Eco Love. Rob showcases the event’s atmosphere—queues, a DJ, brunch, live music by Conti Reynoso, and branded merchandise—emphasizing the power of community and fitness culture in a traditionally party‑focused city. Mid‑video, he pivots to business advice, urging fitness professionals to prioritize community building, linking to his "Digital Game Plan" service. After the run, he tours the after‑party, highlighting the food spread, pool, and social vibe. The vlog concludes with Rob reflecting on the personal fulfillment of hosting such events, his need for solitary recharge time, family life, and future plans: handing the channel to his daughter, sharing detailed meal‑prep macros, and upcoming cooking‑focused content. Throughout, he blends enthusiastic narration, instructional moments, and candid personal insights.

What is going on, guys? Welcome to today's vlog. We have an action-packed day today, so we're starting off with a little bit of lifting, but the main focus today is actually running. We have a huge Run Club Marbella event. For a little bit of context, a little bit of background, this time last year, exactly one year ago, I started Run Club Marbella. It was about 9 of us going for a run on a Sunday morning, something to keep us honest on a Saturday night and something that would start off our Sunday, start off our week essentially feeling good. That has grown 10x. Regularly now, 120 people show up. Today we actually have a paid ticketed event and it is sold out. 150 tickets have sold. So today it's gonna be a run, DJ, brunch, competitions in Marbella's most exclusive venue, which is Puente Romano. So Rachel's Eco Love is the cafe, the restaurant that we have it in every week. They have a few locations. This week they've given us the one in Puente Romano, so we are going all out. So I just got a quick lift in this morning. We're about to head off, make sure everything is ready, set up nicely, and we're going to have an amazing day. And guys, the weather in Marbella, it has been storming this week. You can see all the equipment is still wet, the ground is still wet, and the sun just came out in force this morning. I am so relieved, you have no idea. I was checking the weather app like a madman all week, and today it is blue skies. So it is— I just know it's going to be a good one. So let's get into it. Hey, there he is! What's up? Yo, yo, here's the other head honcho of Run Club Marbella. So perfect timing there. About to go in now. Look at this, this is like a nightclub. This is absolutely absolutely insane. There's actually people queuing up to get in. That's crazy. What's up? How's it going everyone? How are you? Good, not too bad. Hey guys, hey, what's up bro? How's it going? Oh my God, I haven't seen you in ages. It's been a long time. No, I completely forgot that there's t-shirts today. Oh my God, this is my first time seeing these. Let's get a feel of the quality. Oh my God, Run Club Marbella baby. They are so fresh. Unreal. Let's do a little fit test on the t-shirt. Hey guys, what's up? How's it going? Well, hey, there she is, the queen, Queen Rachel. Okay, it's almost time to kick things off. Everyone is arriving now, 150 people in total, and I can just tell everyone is in a good mood. So we're gonna mingle for a little bit, hang out, grab some coffees. I'm gonna get everyone warmed up and then we're running to a spot called Coro Coro, and then we're running back and finishing in Rachel's Eco Love Puente Romano. So that's actually a different location, super fancy, wait till you see it. Pool, DJ, brunch, coffee. People are going to be dancing. People are already queuing up to get in, and it is a Sunday morning. And if that doesn't show you the power of community, the power of fitness, I don't know what else does. It is Sunday in Marbella, a place that's typically known as a party destination, but people don't want that anymore. They want that, but they also want to feel good. So people are queuing up to get in now. It is insane. The vibes are high. Let's absolutely turn up today. I'm so excited. I'm so excited. Let's go. All right, guys. So a quick little bit of business talk. If you are in the fitness industry in today's day and age, the best thing you can do is build a community. And so you've probably heard that a lot, And what does that even mean? Okay, when talking about community, you basically want people bouncing off each other, people vibing. So if you're doing online coaching, you want to put your clients in touch with each other so they can support each other and do a little bit of the heavy lifting for you as well. And in-person events are going to complement your business massively. Stuff like the mastermind event that we do in June, stuff like this run club. If you're in the fitness industry, that is the thing you need to be focusing on. It is community. If you want more advice like this and you want me to hold your hand and guide you through the process of growing in the fitness industry, there is a link in the description. In the description box that you can check out. It's called the Digital Game Plan, and I'm very, very proud of it. Now we are just about to begin the warm-up. I'm actually kind of nervous. This is going to be the biggest warm-up I've ever held, so let's see how we get on. Lifesaver! Shout out Kyle for the batteries. Oh my God, I was literally like, is this thing on? Oh my God, there we go! Oh my God, the energy already absolutely insane. So I want to give everyone a big warm welcome to the 1-year anniversary of Run Comarbea! So this exact day, 12 months ago, there was about 6 dudes running along the Golden Mile, and since then it has just grown legs into something that I find it hard to describe. We're not going to take any credit for this. This is all you guys. You guys make the community, so I want to give you a big round of applause for everyone here. Cheers! The warm-up and run from Marbella It's about building energy. That's what it's all about. So get a little space. We'll do it nice and quick. We'll get on the track ASAP, and then it's party time. All right, we're going to start off with a little bit of jogging on the spot. Nice and easy. Sprint for 10 seconds. 10, 9, 8, 7. High knees. Let's go. 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5. Now we're going to stretch the hamstrings out. So wide stance, and we're getting deeper every single time. Put your hands down and keep This whole thing's been a long week. We've been stuck inside. Get that frustration out, get that energy out. So on me, okay? And everyone, 1, 2, everyone again, 3, let's fucking go! What is going on, guys? The run is finished. The afterparty is here, and this is actually better than I expected. I'm going to walk you through it. Okay, so everyone is here. Everyone's happy, everyone's eating. The pool is glistening. The DJ has started playing. Come look at all the food as well. It's crazy. Like, look at this happy and healthy community here in Marbella. Like, absolutely nuts. Look how many people we have here. And then check the spread of food. I'm not sure if there's much left. As everyone's quite hungry, but let's go inside. Look at this for a view! You just come up and there's like protein balls, cookies, açaí, sourdough bread, dip, and then you just see everyone. Just check out this view! You got all the food, people enjoying it in the back. Like, just take a mental snapshot right now. This is the place you want to be. I can't believe it. I love seeing Marbella like this. But now it's time for me to eat. I'm absolutely starving. There's more food inside as well. All right, we're gonna go for a cookie. This looks absolutely ridiculous. That looks like there's a bit of white chocolate in there. Oh my God, bro. Oh my God, white chocolate, chocolate chip. That is absolutely insane. I gotta try a little bit of everything. So over here they have some nice fresh fruit as well, and then a big Rachel's Eco Love Run Club Cake. I'm so tempted to just like put my face in that, but that would be a little bit immature, so I'm gonna save that. But that looks exceptional, and no one has started that yet. So I think I'm gonna put together myself like a nice little meal, decompress for a little bit, relax, as I've been on the go all day playing host. So now I'm gonna chill out for a little bit and just properly enjoy the day as much as I can. I'm barely even started. I'm not done with you. I barely even started. I'm not done with you. I'm barely even started. And you won't even know what hit you when I'm done. We actually have an artist as part of the Run Club. So guys, let's hear it up for Conti Reynoso! We got some live music. I'm yours. The darkness shall find me. Whoa, stand by me. All right guys, we are finishing up an epic day. Look at the scenes behind me. Everyone just high on fitness, high on health, completely sober, high on maybe ginger shots perhaps. That's about it. But what a vibe here today. It's all about creating community and just building something. So catch up with you guys in a bit. See you later. Keep it real. I'm outta here.
And just like that, the day is done. We are back in the office having a good old poverty soda. Doesn't matter where we are, if we're in Dublin, Marbella, doesn't matter what we're doing, doesn't matter what stage of life we're in, I'm sipping that off-brand cola no matter what. Mercadona's finest fresh gas. Oh, what a day. I am just decompressing right now after playing host for the last couple of hours. And with me, you probably think I'm a very extroverted person, but I love my alone time. Like, I love being on my own. I love being isolated, especially after I expend and give out so much energy. The energy has to come from somewhere. So I recharge the batteries a lot by just being on my own, alone with your own thoughts. And that is, and that is a great trait to have. You should ideally love your own company. So I'm just doing a little bit of work now, decompressing after today. I think there's a good few people still high on life who are going out tonight. I'm just gonna chill out, get a little bit of work done in my office, plan some YouTube videos, and go down and see the wife and the baby. I would say wife and kids because the plan is to have kids. Wife and kid, go down and see them and finish up today's video. But what a day today. Stuff like that, like, it reminds me of being at an expo. And like, back when I started in the fitness industry, expos were the thing. Now they're still obviously big, especially in America, but not as big. So I love those little group events, and to be putting on one myself, it's just like a really proud feeling. It's just like, I, I love it. I, after I see so many people come together in the name of fitness as well, I always just feel good afterwards. I everyone feels good, even the people who are attending, not just putting the event on, feel amazing. Like, it is, it is such a high. If anyone's watching this, I recommend doing your best to put on an event of some sort, even if it's like you have like 10, 15, 20 people going. It's a really nice feeling to be able to gather people in a room, put them together, and see everyone chatting to each other. It's, it's a certain feeling that is hard to replicate in any other field of life. So we're going to chill out here for a little bit. We'll go downstairs, then we finish off today's vlog. I ate so much. I think I had 4 plates of food at Rachel's, so I'm gonna wait a while and then have a little bit of dinner.
Yay! You're Daddy's twin! Can you finish the vlog for me? Come on! Can you finish it for me? You can finish up the outro. It's gonna be way better than me.
Yes! Nearly there.
I can't wait till she can do the vlogs. I'm just gonna hand over the channel to her. Just change the channel name to Isabel Lipsett. Yeah, see, we're nearly getting there.
Putting on big Run Club events is amazing, but this is the most amazing thing that I do in my day.
All right, time for Daddy to eat some dinner.
Let's get some protein into us. Since life has just been very full-on at the moment, I've just been eating a lot of meal prep.
So this is the steak and eggs It's actually steak, eggs, and sweet potatoes.
So it's like a breakfast meal from Posh Meals, the Marbella meal prep company whose good friend of mine is the owner.
Great company. Ah! That's it. That's the background noise to my life. This is from the breakfast section on the website, but I usually have it for like lunch or dinner. Like, it's amazing.
Recently, like, I've just been having a lot of convenient meals. Like, I'll have like 2 meal preps a day, a big protein shake. And like I just have like 2 to 3 large meals per day. But for the next big full day of eating video that I do, I'll do it all home-cooked meals as it's much more informative.
There's a lot more for you guys to gain from it because it's essentially a bunch of recipes that you can copy and put into your own diet. So that's coming up next. I'm gonna have this now, finish off the day. What is this?
50 grams of protein, 46 carb, 24 fat.
Perfect, guys. What a day today.
Like, comment, subscribe if you're you're new here. I'll see you in the next one.
Keep it real. I'm out of here. Peace.
