In this re‑recorded tutorial, Rob Lipsett presents a macro‑friendly burrito bowl that can be customized to fit any dietary goal. He begins by noting the video’s upgraded production quality compared to his early channel days. He lists the base ingredients—lettuce, red kidney beans, fajita vegetables, turkey mince (or alternative proteins), and rice—along with low‑calorie flavorings such as hot salsa, fat‑free quark (as a sour‑cream substitute), garlic seasoning, and hot sauce. He explains the rationale for layering lettuce first, then rice, vegetables/meat, and beans, emphasizing stability and texture. Throughout, he offers practical cooking tips (e.g., using non‑stick spray, adjusting rice portions for carb control, microwaving beans) and macro‑count insights (e.g., salsa’s 10‑calorie per tablespoon). The video concludes with a visual of the finished bowl, a claim that this is “the perfect meal,” and a call‑to‑action encouraging likes, comments, subscriptions, and Instagram posts tagging @RobLipsett for “gains.”

How now, brown cow. Unique New York, unique New York. Alright, let's go. What's up everyone? So you asked for it, you're getting it. It's the burrito bowl reloaded. So seeing as this is a reloaded video, I'm gonna be doing a lot of gunshot sound effects, but also because I like doing them too. Alright, so enough fooling around. I made this video in the early stages of the channel, but the quality ain't great because back then I used an iPhone and some sellotape to record videos. So this is a reloaded version, it's a bit easier to watch, and I've also got some better ingredients too. So enough of me talking, let's kick it off. Okay, let's go to Lima. Alright, so you know I keep things nice, simple, and easy, so I'm going to run through all the ingredients for you here. I'm going to start off with for a bed of lettuce, 50 grams of red kidney beans, about 100 grams of chopped fajita vegetables, 150 grams of turkey mince, but you can use whatever you want. Chop up some chicken, some beef mince, or some tofu. I hear you guys. And then we're going to go for white rice. You can do brown rice, whatever you want. And then for seasonings, flavorings, we're going to go for some hot salsa, some fat-free quark— this is going to replace the sour cream— some chopped garlic seasoning, and you know I bring the heat, we got some chow lila. So anyway, anyways, that's what we're gonna work with today. Let's go. Okay, so the first thing you want to do is make your bed of lettuce. And, John, what John, I think, is weird, right? When you go into Tolteca or Chipotle, wherever you go, they put on the lettuce last. And like, you know, you're walking up to your table and like, you know, the wind's taking it off everywhere. So you gotta put the lettuce down first and put all the heavy stuff like the beans and the meat. Just keep it all locked down. So put down the lettuce first. All right, so the rice is boiling. I'm sure I don't need to tell you how to boil rice. You know, you put the hot water in the pot, put the rice in— you know how to boil rice. Alright, so next up, you just throw your meat, whatever it is you choose, and your fajita vegetables, just chuck them into the pan. You probably want to use some nonstick cooking spray, but if you throw some oil in, whatever, just factor it into the macros. Also, right, I just used 50 grams of rice, uncooked weight, but the beauty of this is, you know, you want more carbs, use more rice, you want less carbs, you want less rice, you want no carbs, just say, "Don't use rice." It still tastes great. So that's the beauty of this meal. You can customize it to whatever you want. Check that out. Always be sure to give them a good shake every now and then. Also, while you're waiting on that, just pop the beans in the microwave for 30 seconds, but you can eat them cold too. Okay, so the beans are cooked, the rice is boiled, the fajita vegetables and the turkey breast, that's all stirred up. It's ready to go. So now we go about building the bowl, and it's It's like building a house, you know, you've got to lay the foundation. It's like building a house made of burrito ingredients. Now that's the type of house I want to live in. So anyways, I like to stick the rice in first. So far, so good. Next is going to be the fajita vegetables and whatever meat you choose. And then lastly, throw the beans on top. Okay, so that's looking pretty good as is, but now we're just going to put some flavourings and some toppings on it too. Alright, so just 1 tablespoon of this. Now this salsa I got in Lidl, it's seriously Lip Approved. In 1 tablespoon, 30 grams, there's like 10 calories. So, you know, very few calories and this completely changes a meal. You know, if your meal is dry or needs a bit of flavour, just throw a bit of this on. I'm sure you can spare 10 calories. Then next, some low-fat Quark. It tastes like Philadelphia, and again, the macros on it is just pure protein. Okay, so there you go everyone, that is the bowl complete. I'm gonna throw some hot sauce on it too, and it's fair to say that looks like a proper burrito bowl. Tastes amazing, quality macros too. So that wraps up this recipe, and now when people always ask me, you know, what do you eat the most, it's pretty much this. In my opinion, it's the perfect meal. So now we know what you're having for dinner, for the rest of the year. Kids, burrito bowl's ready! Let me know if you liked the video down in the comment section.
