Did I Buy An Audi R8 | Real Talk

Rob Lipsett’s vlog documents a day-long UK shoot that blends fashion, food, fitness, and car culture. The video opens with a surprise tease, then follows the crew as they change outfits, travel to picturesque locations, and snack on low‑calorie foods (popcorn, green apple, coffee) to manage appetite during a high‑calorie day. They stop for a Lebanese dinner, enthusiastically describing dishes like hummus, baba ghanoush, fattoush, and baklava. Later they test‑drive an Audi R8, noting its surprisingly approachable handling compared to expectations of an intimidating supercar. Rob reflects on the tension between buying expensive material items (cars) and investing in experiences, advocating for a balance that favors memorable moments. The vlog includes a Myprotein‑sponsored protein shake segment, a quick gym mention, and several teasers for upcoming content (honey Cheerios, another UK vlog). Throughout, the tone is informal, energetic, and conversational, with a mix of enthusiasm for food and cars and a measured, reflective stance on spending habits.

Good morning everyone, so we are still in the UK and we all just woke up and we're all just kind of grazing on food, kind of sorting out some outfits for today. And I don't want to ruin it, but we've got a pretty cool surprise on the way, so I'll say no more. Let's get into the video. This is like 80s blonde. I think that's cool. I think that's good. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm wearing that. All right, people, our little surprise is here. Let them get all my attention. I remember writing raps in detention. I was the kid who couldn't get a mention. Now they want to come and watch the ascension. I'm finally seeing the rewards and they just getting mad. Want to go to war? What you winning for? You don't even work. Losing that battle. Crazy. How'd you enjoy that? That was a sweet ride, bro. Oh man. That was one hell of a ride. After 2 hours you start getting back pain. Huh? After 2 hours you start getting back pain in the car. Yeah, worth it. Worth it. Alright, so we just got to the first location of this shoot. Oh my God, it feels like when the car speeds up, it feels like you get butterflies. It's like being on a roller coaster, so today's going to be a fun day. London is actually kind of beautiful. In the autumn. Look at these leaves, amazing! So let's get to it. Okay, so we are just changing outfits and then going to the next shoot location. And when you're traveling or, yeah, on the go, you know you're going to be eating out for dinner, it's going to be high in calories, try and minimize your calories during the day. So this is really good for appetite, it's like some of my go-to snacks. It is popcorn, 85 calories per bag, green apple, so good bit of fiber in both of these. Then a black coffee as well. The caffeine suppresses the appetite, so this should keep me going for another few hours, and then we'll finish up this shoot and get something to eat. All right, next location is this picturesque little village or something. Look at that, look at those. It looks like a village because artists— maybe even have the lights on. I think that's sick. Yeah, okay, so another outfit change, uh, just going to change in the middle of the street and then I think we're coming to an end. So what you putting on here? All right, all right, what a day! But now it is time to eat. I don't think you could ever find a hungrier bunch of individuals, but, uh, we did good today. Got so much photos and the bill, I just know There's a fire video on the way. So now we're going to have some Lebanese food, right? Shawarma, something. Yeah, hummus. Hummus. Give me all the hummus. Check that out. That's fucking clean. Look at this. And these ones are unedited. Dope. Is that one going? That's you, man. You see me? I have quite a few where you can see me. Lebanese, baby, please. It's all right. How excited are you to see Olive's? I'm turbo excited, mate. This one is fattoush. It looks great. Lebanese vibes. Yeah, wow, very welcoming restaurant. They're just bringing us out everything on the menu, so very excited. Oh, baba ghanoush! Baba ghanoush! Baba ghanoush! Cool thing is these are all foods that I'm not used to. It's a taco. Yeah, it's Next level flavors. So turns out that was only the starter, and now the mains are coming. This is the most flavorsome food I've ever had. Yeah, it's unbelievable. It's so good. This is the second most dense material known to man after meat, right? Finish off with some baklava. It is good. The food just keeps coming. Thank you, appreciate it. That was amazing. Thank you so much, guys. That was such a good meal. We're all like leaving that restaurant just high on, high on calories, high on food. So now we're going to wrap up today. We're going to go back to the house, uh, chill for a little bit, and hit a gym session. All right, boss, what's going on? You ready? Says to you, you have to call. I already say you're vegan. All right, let's get a feel for this baby. Audi R8. It's actually— it's easy to drive. It's kind of just like the A5. Damn, I thought it would be like so much more like intimidating drive, but it's actually like— it's pretty normal. It's crazy. Okay, a long day, and we're gonna finish it off with a protein shake because we definitely— do you want to interrupt my video one more time? I had fucking He's the rudest cunt. I don't know, I don't want to apologize. Everyone go unsubscribe to Joe. So it's— I already asked for that. All right, so it's been a long day. We're gonna finish it off with a protein shake because we definitely hit our fats and carbs in that dinner. So we come to the Airbnb and it has Myprotein, the best brand in the world. And if this was not a time to plug my link and discount code then I know what I'm doing. So it is in the description box. We're gonna do some chocolate mint flavor and a little bit of skim milk and some ice as well, and it's going to be glorious. I'm weirdly craving a protein shake. Legit, and there's a Homer Simpson dispenser, mate. It's next level shit. Say something Irish. Um, all I can think of is top of the morning, boss. Say, what's going on, Rob Lipsett here, eating. What? Go on. Okay, um, what's going on, it's Rob Lipsett here. That doesn't seem that bad. It's pretty decent. I expected it to be shit and us all piss ourselves laughing, but— Rolling. So I just realized I forgot to finish off the vlog where we were driving all the cars, and definitely a question that comes up is, you know, 'Rob, are you buying the Audi R8?' You know, 'What do you think of it? What do you think of cars?' All that. And this guy, he's like my therapist, right? But, uh, you know, we often talk about stuff like that, and I could buy an Audi R8, and I was really close to buying one. Being honest, like, just being honest. So just putting into an example of things— stop you fucking laughing! Just putting to an example about things like materialistic things versus experience, right? We talk about Ibiza to this very day. Like, we fall on the ground laughing about memories in Ibiza. But whereas when we're with the cars, like, after like 6 hours with them and after all the photo shoots are done, we're like, you know, fuck that shit. Yeah, we're like, yeah, you know, it's done. It's like, you know, they're savage cars, they're amazing to drive, but we're like, that's it, you know? So, uh, if you can buy cars, like mad cars, buy crazy expensive things, then do it, especially makes you happy. But you got to spend your money on, you know, things that are going to be more fulfilling. And Cheerios, mate, the honey ones. Yeah, that's the next video. Stand by for the honey Cheerios. It's good. But, um, so yeah, you know, I'm not saying never, never buy, you know, a sick car, but I choose to spend more money on experiences versus things. And I could be wrong, this is my opinion. Comment down below what you think. Anyways, wrap up this vlog. This was actually filmed yesterday. I got a haircut I forgot to finish it. So this is wrapping up this vlog, and then we got one more UK vlog to go. They hope I fall on my face, yeah, yeah. They say that I'm underage, yeah, yeah.
