Morning everyone. How cool is that hairdo I got going on? But so today is Sunday. I am leaving for Croatia on Monday, so I said, look, I want to get a video up before I go. So full day of eating, lifting, whatever it is. But let me show what I got going on here. Breakfast burrito is like egg whites, peppers, tomatoes, beans, onions, the whole lot. So gonna eat this now. And I'll let you know what's going on today. Right, so what is on the cards for today? Oh, I got cleavage. This top shows off a bit too much cleavage. But, um, first thing is drink this smoothie. It is like banana kiwi frozen protein milk from Avonmore and Myprotein toffee flavor. Also, I have officially joined up with Avonmore protein milk and they will be dropping off protein milk to me regularly. So that is awesome. That is one less thing to worry about. And so what is on the cards for today? See, the same stuff as usual. Packaging Sunday, so I'm gonna write back to all check-ins. And get things ready for Croatia tomorrow. I'm buying a GoPro today. I know I kept saying it, but obviously I kept putting it off, but today's the last day. Gonna do that today, gonna hit up Dundrum, and gotta have a gym session with my training partner Kyle. He is going to America tomorrow on a J-1. I'm obviously going to Croatia, as I mentioned, and it's gonna be an emotional one. Because the two of us, we started training together this September, and I made a post about this on Instagram yesterday. Like, we were comparing the numbers that we were lifting at the start of the year to now, and like, it just feels great to look back on. We're like, whoa, we made that look like fucking lightweight. And that, and that's, that is how you make gains, people. It increase what you're lifting over time, increase volume, increase your you know, what your, your 3-rep max, your 1-rep max, whatever it is, just increase the numbers you are lifting. Progressive overload, that is the key to building muscle mass. And, um, it's great just looking back on it, made all kinds of gains, you know. It's a good feeling, it wasn't a wasted year. So, uh, we are gonna hit the gym at about 1, and I did my protein unboxing video the other day, but to be honest, I don't think it was worthy of an upload. And that's another thing I want to talk about, right? I'm getting out about like 3 or 4 videos a week, you know, and I'm going for quality, not quantity. And let me know what you think of that. Like, I could upload a vlog every day, but you know, not much would go on. So, you know, tell me, would you like to see more quantity, but maybe, you know, it could be the same stuff over and over again? Like, Also, something that I've gotten so into these days is Periscope. It's just like a live streaming thing, so it's just live and, you know, it's like a Q&A. People ask you whatever you want. And important thing that I— this is actually kind of what I wanted to make this video for— add me on Periscope because when I'm in Croatia for these 2 weeks, I can just go on Periscope for a while if you want to check in with me, see what I'm doing, and like, you know, I'll Probably be pretty interesting to see where I am. Periscope is just @roblipsett. Twitter, Instagram is always just @roblipsett. Let's go on it now as well. This is Periscope. Going to be on the next vlog, everyone. Say hi. Also, give me some love too. Woo! There we go. Jake Larder, Lee Mooney. There we go. Y'all gonna be in the next vlog. Alright, so pre-workout time. It is gonna be some MyPre, watermelon flavor, without a doubt in my opinion the best flavor, and a pro mix, right? Quick little word on Promixer. Basically, the UK trade manager is a part of Machine Fitness too, Dan Uman. So a lot of the guys at Machine Fitness and Promixer, they're two very tight companies. The guys at the Promixer stand at BodyPower were all wearing Machine gear with Promixer written on it too. So we're both very close companies, so we kinda work together. I was given a few Promixers and I was asked to do a review on it. And like, when I first got it, I was like, you know, I can just shake things myself. It's not that great, right? But then I used it and I just get such a kick out of it. Like, I swear to God, I absolutely love it and I really recommend it because, you know, when you like throw something into a shaker first and it gets all stuck on the sides, drives me nuts. But that doesn't happen with this. So you just switch it on. And you're good to go. So yeah, I have to say I do really like this and you'll be seeing some more Promixx on this channel. I am of course doing a giveaway at the moment for these guys on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and I've actually got to pick— I think it turns off— and I've actually got to pick the winner today, so stay tuned. Chin chin. Right, so just outside Raw Gym, okay, and I got these BCAAs from Myprotein, blue raspberry flavor, okay, and they taste just exactly like Blue Wicked. Not that I drink Blue Wicked very often, but, um, so that's, that's not what you want to be tasting when you're in the gym. So I threw in some like orange MyWadi and in it, and now it just tastes like pure alcohol. It tastes like Fat Frog or something. I'm actually probably just gonna use those BCAAs as mixer when I go to Croatia. I'm not even joking, I've done that before. It's actually, it's a pretty good shout, and it saves you a bit of cash and stops you from going catabolic on a night out. But anyways, right, time to go in and hit this pull workout with Kyle. He's in there already. And let's go! Beautiful day, favorite place in the whole wide world.
Look at this guy, BSN, having the MyProtein.
Look at this, like pre-workout party here. Absolutely love gym on a Sunday, it's just empty. But, um, anyways, right, we are going to be starting off today with a horizontal row, then moving on to vertical vertical rows, doing a one-arm movement, and then doing some traps and arms. If you want back width, you should probably start with a vertical row. If you're focusing on back thickness, you probably want to start with a horizontal row. It's just whatever. I'm very lat dominant, so that's why I want to focus on back thickness. I think a big thick back looks savage. But, uh, anyways, so cause they're warming up, um, man, absolute legend, brought me a can of Monster because, hey, you know, why not more caffeine? But, uh, hey, Let's get started.
Come on, hoodies off!
Let's go!
When I say squeeze at the top, come on. All right, next one, come on. That's it, come on, squeeze at the top. Nice!
All right, time for some one-arm rows.
Last time I did these, I clenched my jaw so hard I think I dislocated that motherfucker. So I'm gonna try not to do that this time.
Let's go, baby! That's it, come on, come on, come on, that's it, that's it, push! Come on!
Nice!
All right, 3-pointer.
If I get this in the bin, I'm going to make Infinity Games this year. Hey, I got it in through the back. That's good enough, right?
Slam dunk!
With some good editing, I reckon I can make it look like that went in.
So come on, up! Good squeeze.
Come on, good tip, right? It's not Chris Jones' hole.
Talking about it in one of his arm training videos.
Just no matter what you're doing, hammer curls, supinated curls, just concentrate getting your baby, your baby finger as close to your rear delt as possible. That's contracting the bicep as much as you can. Um, and like, you know, you can see it there when you curl your baby finger in. See that bicep contract?
Come on, good morning, yes, good morning, through the pain, come on, come on, up, squeeze, that's it, slow down, that's it.
Also check out this bad boy, uh, company made like 2 of these and sent them to me. Pretty dope. You get sent some cool things when you do the YouTubes. Yeah.
All right, uh, usually I do these just holding plates, make some shrugs, but, uh, sometimes I'm on some Smith machine. It's not going to be making great, but anyways, let's go. Face, that has to be done.
Mm, mm, mm, post-workout meal. My favorite time to eat. It is black beans, rice, and beef, and a big dollop of feta Greek yogurt. I think Greek yogurt is lovely with kind of savory dishes, makes it kind of like creamy beef. So anyways, gonna eat this, then I'm gonna have to go get my GoPro. Um, probably gonna go— excuse me, I've got a hot sauce in there too— probably gonna go hit up Argos, pick that up, and then obviously, you know, live is on my laptop. But, uh, yeah, so, uh, let's see what type of deal we can get on the GoPro. All right, so acquired The GoPro. It is a Hero 4 Silver. So anyways, keep an eye on this channel. I may not post for a while, but the next time I do, it'll be some new interesting content, something that I haven't really shown before on it. And you know, it'll be certainly different with this. But anyways, wish me luck, and I will see you when I see you. And of course, keep it real.
