If you're not keeping a diary or a journal, congratulations, you just played yourself. What's up everyone, welcome to the video. And today I want to talk about goal setting. Okay. Now, if you've been following this channel for a while, you know, I'm big into writing things down. It is something I started doing you know, every day last year, and it honestly, such a small thing, changed my life for the better. So yeah, every day I plan out my day, I write a to-do list, and I plan out my week, and I also write some things like long-term goals 6 months ahead of time. You know, if someone was to read this, you'd know all the secrets to the life of Rob Lipsett. A dream written down becomes a goal. A goal broken down into steps steps becomes a plan. When you put action to those plans, that is how you get shit done. So I haven't done a video in a couple of days, right? Look, don't kill me. And basically, this kind of goes— coincides with goal setting. If you just try to do too much things at once, you get nothing done, or you get nothing done well. So, you know, you should really focus on one thing at a time and smash it. So the first 2 weeks of January there was obviously online coaching, client space are full, everything out of stock, Great, brilliant. So now, you know, I'm going to LA tomorrow. Now the next 2 weeks will be on videos, will be on traveling, networking, meeting people, and having a fun time. So just understand that, and that's just a bit of advice for yourself. Focus on one thing at a time. And I'm actually going to train with a friend in, it's like a CrossFit gym. Don't hate me, but it'll be empty, so it'll be a cool change of scene. I'll bring you along with me. And I also gotta film a Q&A. 2 videos in 1 day. Told you I'm focusing on videos. Breakfast, morning coffee, laptop. Love it. You can probably tell I'm in a good mood, you know. I'm heading off tomorrow, I'm excited, and you know, I'm on top of shit. It's a good time to be alive. Alright, so here's my little kind of office space Q&A setup here. I got these lights off Amazon. I think they're only like £100 or something, and they're really good. Strongly recommend. When you're kind of putting yourself together, a YouTube channel, I would say lighting is like not that important. It was kind of the last last thing I got along with a microphone, but they do make a difference. And yes, I know my office space is like a little shitty room, but hey, one day maybe I'll be in a really cool big modern place. Goals, man, goals. Anyways, let's knock out this Q&A. Push to start. I used to listen to that song. I think I was fucking cooked from skins when I was about 15. All right, CrossFit. Hey, what's cracking? Well, look at this place. One thing I do like about CrossFit gyms is how open they are. Like, that is something, a lot of room to play around with. And by the way, this is Mark. What's going on, guys? We know each other from outside of the fitness realm as well. Uh, why don't you tell them what your type training is like, because it's not strictly cross— it's kind of movement. Yeah, just a bit of mix. I still lift. Um, yeah, it might really look good. I wouldn't be hanging out with him if you didn't lift. Yeah, I don't hang out. Started with lifting, then got, uh, got into playing with handstands, followed a lot of Eagle Portal stuff. Yeah, just kind of a mix of everything. I like trying new stuff. I get bored easily, so I like new challenges. Yeah, kind of. Absolutely. So do I. That's why, like, you know, I don't like lifting in the same gym. I love trying out different gyms, lifting with different people and stuff like that. I think that's what fitness is about. Like, a lot of people look at gym and they think it's kind of like unsociable, but that's not the case. No, not at all. Exercising should be fun. It should be sociable. So we're going to get a bit of workout here. I've got to do some pressing. I've got to do some overhead pressing today. It's delts and arms for me. We're going to do whatever as well. So workout done, really good, um, you know, great craic. And, uh, just two things that, you know, Irish gyms usually have, it's a There's a picture of McGregor on the wall and we always have some Guinness in the fridge as well. That's kind of like a must. Just for any international people watching this. Anyways, now time to head home. Thank you to CrossFit Green for letting us in and, you know, lifting some iron. Catch you later. Alright, so I have arrived in LA. That's the YouTube house there. Settled in nicely, love everyone, and like, it's really nice and roomy. We all have our own space and everything. So I'm gonna wrap this vlog up here. Plenty more to come. Just letting you know I arrived safe and sound. So anyways, catch you in the next video. Keep it real.
