Full Day Of Eating: Pre Vegas Shred

In this vlog, Rob Lipsett documents a full day of eating and training the day before his trip to Las Vegas. He begins by clearing out his fridge to avoid waste, then prepares a low‑carb breakfast of eggs with veggies, sweet chili, and iced green tea, explaining his preference for minimal carbs in the morning. After a brief fasted coffee session, he takes two caffeine‑based fat‑burner pills as a pre‑workout boost, noting that fat burners don’t directly cause fat loss. Rob then records a chest‑focused gym session, detailing his warm‑up flies, hammer‑strength press, weighted dips, and shoulder work, while sharing his set‑rep schemes, weight choices, and philosophy of avoiding failure on early sets. He trains alongside fellow Irish YouTuber Sean Cullen, highlighting community interaction. Mid‑vlog he mentions a new camera lens from Camera Center, discussing its depth‑of‑field effect. Post‑workout, he gets a fresh haircut, then eats a salmon, green bean, salad, and couscous lunch, emphasizing hidden calories in fats and macro balance. He follows with a Greek yogurt dessert sweetened with sugar‑free maple syrup. Later, Rob visits Dundrum Shopping Centre, showcasing Kiehl’s skincare products (sent for free) and two bottles of Creed cologne for his Vegas trip. He then prepares a dinner of roasted potatoes, sweet potatoes, parsnips, green beans, chicken breast, and salad, providing macro breakdown (8 g fat, 50 g carbs, 38 g protein, 423 kcal). The vlog concludes with his final meal of beef and sweet potato, packing for travel, and announcing his upcoming Vegas (13‑18 Oct) and LA (18‑24 Oct) vlogs featuring other YouTubers and the Olympia expo.

What's going on everyone? Just woke up and I was like, you know what, it's a day before I go to Vegas. I want to get one more video done. So let's do a full day of eating because you guys love the full day of eating. It's like, it's like a cooking show with me, but instead of one recipe you get like 4 or 5. So that's what we're doing today. Like the video, sit back, relax. Let's get started. Alright, so before I ever go away for a while, I like to make sure that there's no food that's gonna go off. My fridge fridge because I hate wasting. So this is actually like perfect in terms of like my macros and calories of what I'm gonna eat today. So we've got eggs, we've got 3 meals here, and we've got mushrooms, veggies, you know, salad, and some yogurt. So yeah, hopefully we'll get rid of all this today. So this morning for breakfast, I'm gonna make some eggs. So that's the veggies gone in. Then we are also going for 3 whole eggs and then 2 egg whites. And I'm actually not going to scramble these because I kind of like when you have the yolk together. Alright, so that is all done. I'm going to put a little bit of sweet chili on this. I'm also drinking some iced green tea. I always say this, but I don't like a carb-heavy meal in the morning as I feel kind of sluggish afterwards. So it is like just after 9 o'clock now. I usually wake up at 7, drink coffee, get some work done fasted. 2 hours later, have my breakfast, and then in about 2 hours I'll go train as well. Okay, so it is gym time. Please ignore that big mess behind me there. I'm just doing all my laundry and packing up before I go to Vegas in the morning. So it's pre-workout time, and so I'm gonna take 2 of these fat burners for caffeine. I've done a video on fat burners before and how they're not actually great for losing fat. That is going to come down to your calorie intake and your energy expenditure and how much of a deficit you are in. But so I take these just as a convenient way to get some caffeine in. So if you don't like having a shake or, you know, mixing pre-workout is inconvenient for you, then you can just take this as some pre-workout. Anyways, it is chest day. I've like timed that perfectly. So it's like chest day just before I go to Vegas, but I'm going to be training over there anyways. But, uh, yes, let's go hit the gym. Yo, what is up everyone? So we're hitting chest day, it's the best day. So I'm going to take you throughout my whole push workout today, along with a full day of eating too. This is something I started doing recently, right? Start off with chest flies, right, just to get some muscle activation going, warm up the chest, get some blood in the muscles, and it just really sets you up for a good workout. So I'm gonna do about 2 sets of 20 on the cable flies. So I'm going to do one more set of that, and then later on in the workout, we're going to come back and do chest flies in the 8 to 10 rep range. All right, so typically at the start of my workouts, I'll be in about the 6 to 8 rep range. Towards the end, especially when it comes to my isolation movements, I'll go higher up in terms of rep range. So we're gonna go for like 6 to 8 reps, about 3 to 4 sets, and this is 45 kg. Also, I don't go to failure, uh, on my beginning sets because I want to leave a few reps in the tank so your overall volume is higher. So if I go to complete failure my first set, my second, third, and fourth sets are not going to be good. So I usually take my training to failure either on my isolation movement or my last set. Today I'm also training with fellow Irish YouTuber Sean Cullen. Let's see what you got post J1. Been a while. Yeah, nice and broader, going up easy. Great set. Okay, yeah, there you go. It's the Lipsett effect. All right, so next up, uh, for our kind of flat press, we are doing one of my favorite machines in the whole gym. It is just this Hammer Strength, um, it's kind of like an iso press, uh, really get a good contraction on it. And I don't have them today, but I love putting bands on this, feels amazing. But anyways, let's get to it. Third chest movement that we're doing is one of my favorite movements that I really don't do enough, and I've recently kind of fell in love with them again. So that's dips. There's a really good dip machine here, but I want to do some more free weights. So usually when I'm doing weighted dips, I either have a weight belt or I'll just put a chain around my neck because it looks badass, and it actually does feel good having the weight in a different place on your body. So again, we're going higher in reps The stringer has also came out. The more the pump increases, the less clothes I wear. Okay, so moving on to a little bit of shoulders. I was just saying there, I've got 2 push days, right? So one will be more chest focused one would be more delt-focused. So today's chest-focused, so it's going to be chest, a little bit of delts thrown in, and then the other is vice versa. So we're doing some lateral raises here, again going higher reps, 3 to 4 sets. By the way, people, I did get a new lens. Thanks to Camera Center on Grafton Street. They sorted me out with all my camera equipment. So this one, it's not— the zoom isn't adjustable like the other lens, but this gives more of a depth of field, which means blurry background pretty much. So tell me what you think, if you even notice a difference. Most people probably wouldn't, but either way, I love kind of getting new camera equipment, getting new lenses, because it makes things a little more exciting. It's like when you get new gym gear, you want to go hit the gym. When I get new camera gear, I want to go record. Yo yo yo, a wild Shan Walton appears! I know, I haven't been here in ages. We got the whole Irish YouTube scene here right now. How are you? Right, so coming towards the end of the workout, we are moving on to Triceratops with triceps, depending on what head of the triceps you actually want to hit. Some people think it's actually about grip, but that is about your biceps, which you can clearly see. But if you actually want to hit the long head, it's about actually shoulder flexion. So you want to do a pushing down movement, even an outwards movement, and more importantly, an overhead movement like Skull Crushers, or even kind of, you know, dumbbell overhead extensions, even rope extensions, anything that you prefer, and that is an overhead tricep movement. So all of these Skull Crushers feel great. So let's finish off strong. So anyways, workout done, and now we are just in the kind of seating area in Raw. I am doing some backend stuff with my king of a web developer here. And so guys, if anyone ever wants to put together a website that can take payments, an e-commerce website, especially if it's to do with fitness as well, I'm gonna link all Nev's details down in the description box. Again, My team, we're a bunch of savages. So I'm gonna get this all sorted here, make the website more efficient. Again, if you want to buy any of my training plans, the workout I just did, it's all linked in the description box. And then we're gonna crack on with the day. Post-workout haircut time. Love it. Gotta get a fresh cut before Vegas. Okay, fresh out the barber's and I am feeling spicy. I'm also feeling very, very hungry because it's like quarter past 2 now and I haven't eaten since like 9 AM. I'm so hungry, I'm like, I'm about to eat this steering wheel. That was a good one, Rob. That's really funny. But, uh, right, let's go inside and make some lunch. Okay, so here is what I'm having for lunch. It is 2 salmon fillets, some green beans, a salad, and then some couscous as well. Believe it or not, there's actually 700 calories in this bowl. The salmon is very high in fat, which, you know, there's nothing wrong with that. We all need some fat in our diets. You know, fat is very calorically dense for the size of it. So for example, you can put like a tablespoon of olive oil on your meals and it won't make a difference to the size of your meal, but it'll make a big difference to the calories. So maybe if you're trying to lose weight and it's not happening, you maybe need to look at some kind of hidden calories like that that you may not be noticing. Either way, this is fitting into my diet perfectly. It's also a very nutrient-dense source of fat. I love salmon. I need to eat it more often. I'm gonna dig into this now. Okay, that salmon was amazing, tasted very good. And now for dessert, I'm gonna have the rest of this Greek yogurt, and I'm also gonna add some sugar-free maple syrup into that too. Okay people, so just got home there. It is such a miserable day out. I'm chilling inside for the rest of the day. So basically just went and picked up some stuff in Dundrum Shopping Centre and also saw my mother before I went because I don't know if I'm gonna make it back alive from this trip. It's gonna get crazy. But anyways, let me quickly show you what I got just there. I'm not gonna do the whole, you know, skincare, hair, everything today as this video is gonna be long enough as it is, but that will come one day when I'm back. But anyways, let me show you what I got. First, I went to Kiehl's, and main thing I was there for— all right, I got like a couple things, okay? The main thing is they sent me out— they sent me it for free, okay? This like revitalizing— I'll show you now, actually, okay? They sent me out this stuff for free, and you can probably see it's nearly all gone. I went to the shop to actually buy some myself It was that good. Didn't have any of this. They said this is very similar. There, you can probably see what it is. Brightening and smoothing. And it just feels like so good in your face. And usually I'm not kind of like really that picky with what I put on my skin. Also for Vegas, I got 2 new bottles of Creed. This is the cologne I wear. If you know, you know. That's all I'm saying. Anyways, this video is definitely going to be a long one. So I've got about 2 meals to go and then we'll finish up this video. All right, so next meal is this masterpiece. We got roasted potatoes, sweet potatoes, parsnips, green beans, chicken breast, and a little salad going on underneath there. This is like my ideal meal right here. All right, so it is my favorite part of the evening. It's relax time, it's wind down time. Dim the lights, set the mood. Maybe even light a few candles and just relax. Get a little bit of work done, bit of editing, and then also have my last meal. So this is beef and sweet potato. In this is 8 fat, around 50 carb, 38 protein, and that is like 423 calories. Hope you enjoyed this full day of eating. I am about to pack up my stuff, which I love doing. I love packing. It's exciting, means you're going somewhere. So I'm gonna pack up now for Vegas and LA. I'm in Vegas from the 13th— wait, it is 13th. You, you guys will kill me if I say 13th. 13th to the 18th, and then LA from the 18th to 24th. Gonna be sick vlogs, gonna be with all your favorite YouTubers like Mariah, Christian, Max, Charlie, everyone. Got the Olympia as well. And I'm not at a booth, and I'm really looking forward to going to an expo and just being able to like walk around and chill and do things on my own pace. Thank you so much for watching this video. Keep it real. Until the next one, I'm outta here.
