Full Day of Eating & Training | Dubai Day in the Life

In this vlog, Rob Lipsett shares a detailed day-in-the-life while staying at the newly built Tumbi Hotels in Dubai. He begins with a sunrise rooftop breakfast, emphasizing sunlight exposure and a nutrient‑dense meal (eggs, fruit, avocado, ginger shot, passion fruit, banana, apple, and plenty of water). He then heads to Warehouse Gym for a chest‑focused workout with friend Adam Power, describing the equipment, weight targets, and post‑workout recovery snack (a whey‑protein chocolate chip cookie with peanut butter and almond milk, providing 24 g protein and 447 kcal). After the session, Rob gives a room tour, highlighting the walk‑in shower, lounge area, fridge stocked with snacks, sea‑view balcony, and the hotel’s pool and sauna facilities. Throughout the day he balances business tasks—visa paperwork, a meeting with his accountant, and preparation for a 4:30 PM podcast with Frankie Lee—while maintaining a European‑style routine of walking, coffee stops, and self‑catering. Lunch consists of Ghost electrolytes, sushi rolls, watermelon, and mango purchased for €20. The evening ends with a rooftop sauna session, a high‑protein chicken noodle bowl from the 500 Calorie Project, and reflections on recovery and planning for upcoming events. The vlog blends lifestyle, fitness, nutrition, travel logistics, and entrepreneurial activities, offering viewers practical tips for staying healthy and productive while traveling.

Good morning, team. One thing I love doing is in Dubai, it's 4 hours ahead of the rest of the world. Ireland, UK, America. I'll get up in the morning, get all replies done, energy drained in bed, and I'm just like, I feel like I've got a jump on the day. On that note, let's get today started. So the hotel I'm staying in is Tumbi Hotels. It's like brand new. I think it was built like 2 months ago. Found it on Booking.com, contacted them directly, got a really good rate. It's not a collab. I'm just like, this is a really good hotel that I want to recommend. And so it is literally right on West Palm Beach, which is kind of like the place to be in Dubai. That's where all the like nice restaurants and beach clubs are. Oh, look at that. Let's get some morning sunlight to the face. Oh, now that's like— that's when you wake up. Like, this is your body waking up when you get those sun rays just to the face. Stare at the sun a little bit, or stare, stare around the sun. That's what's up. It's just the location here. You see, the beach is like a block away. I keep looking at this, this construction site every day, like monitoring the progress, and I'm like, it's gonna be such a shame when there's like a big massive skyscraper there. I say the hotel are like, please stop. So every morning I've just been waking up, sunlight, get a little breakfast on the roof as well, then also just walk in the promenade, getting a coffee somewhere. And like, it's pretty easy to live like, how do I say, a very Uber Eats lifestyle here in Dubai. Like, a lot of people just order a coffee or they'll order groceries to their apartment. Like, I try to live a European life as much as possible when I'm in Dubai. Like, walk and go get coffee, you know, actually try walk somewhere. Like, it's very, very difficult to walk places here in Dubai as well. I try to keep my routine as similar to what it is in Marbella. As if I don't do that, if I like eat out eat too much, just don't walk around enough, don't get enough sunlight. I just get a little bit like homesick, a little bit cabin fever when I'm in Dubai. But anyway, so why are we here? I would say we because like me and you guys watching the channel, but it's just me here. Linda stayed at home on this trip. She's pretty tired and didn't want to do any long-haul travel, especially like to Houston and here as well. It was like a 15-hour flight. It was pretty brutal, to be honest. So I was in Houston shooting the new Alphalete collection for their birthday launch, then flew straight here just for some visa things, some business things, meeting with my accountant. Just here for a couple of days, under a week, and then flying straight back to Marbella. So today I'm just gonna meet some friends, go to the gym. So I'll take you guys along with me and have a little bit of fun in Dubai. All right, so breakfast every morning, I go up to the rooftop, get some sun in, and the breakfast here is so good. Like, the eggs, the fruit, everything extremely fresh. The views are bang on. I'm excited. Usually I'm not a big breakfast guy, but here I am. So let's, let's go up the elevator now. So this is the views every morning. I've been eating breakfast outside, super nice. Got the pool in there as well, might go for a little swim afterwards. But I've just been having eggs, fruit, hard to go wrong with that. Alright guys, so we have a huge feed here. We have fruit, eggs, a big plate of avocado, coffee, and I'm just about to dig in. This This looks unbelievable. Gonna set us up for a nice day as well. We are— we, we are starting off the day with— so I've been drinking these, this ginger shot. It's like, it's quite a big, it's quite a big bottle of it. It's nearly all gone. It is the strongest stuff ever. Like, I'm gonna take this for comedic purposes. Imagine drinking all this in one go. You would die. You would literally die. Oh, that is— that's the only shots we're doing on this trip. Healthy dad mode. Oh, and these bad boys as well. I'm not sure if I want to— it's a passion fruit. I'm not sure if I want to be eating that on camera. It's kind of— it's kind of weird. It's good. And I'm gonna have banana and apple as well. Just clearing out the hotel room, really. Loads of water, a little bit of fruit. Gonna go walk, get some coffee now, just ease into the day. All right guys, clean myself up a little bit. It is time to go to the gym. So meeting Adam Power, he's a great friend of mine, he's been on the channel before. We did the last year's business event in Marbella. So, so we're gonna meet now, have a lift, have some food, and map out this year's event. First week of June is when it always is, so stay tuned for that. Look at that! Oh my God, look at that fit! Athlete Power tee. That is just like— that's better than Nike or Adidas or any those mainstream brands. Like, that is superhuman stuff. My God, you put that on, you're just like, that's the pre-workout, now I want to go lift. So we're going to a gym called Warehouse Gym, really good spot, been many times. Can't wait, let's smash it. It's just pulling up to the gym now, traffic wasn't too bad. I've definitely had some worse Uber journeys for sure. We are here now, Warehouse Gym. Look at that, really industrial, really cool spot. I'm gonna jump in, go straight into our workout. Thank you so much for that. Cheers. Thank you. See ya. Bye-bye. Here we go, Warehouse Gym. Let's have it. All right guys, we are here in Warehouse Gym and the vibes are good. It's busy but in a good way. You can still get a machine everywhere, but it's a good energy in the place. So it's my first kind of big session in Dubai, like not just a hotel workout. So we're starting off with a chest day. Of course I'm still warming up here. I'm gonna work up to 3 plates. We'll see. But this machine is great. Like, just this, this particular grip, very, very comfortable. All right. Let's see here. Let's go for— go, Bray! Let's go! Let's go! Come on! Oh my God, is that 8? I think so. All right, super set, let's see. All right, let's go! Our chest is fried at this stage. Oh my God, toast! How's the pump looking? Good workout. Good. Now we can leave. Workout is finished, so our post-workout meal— we went for the choco chip cookie. That is ON whey protein, flax seeds, whey Chocolate chip cookie, an actual chocolate chip cookie. That's not very healthy. Tablespoon of peanut butter and some almond milk. That is coming out to 24 protein, 447 calories. Decent ratio, not too bad. Now time for the taste test. That's absolutely delicious. That is delicious. That is very good. So this is the first, uh, kind of hit of protein that I've had today. So after this, in about an hour or so, probably gonna have a nice big lunch as well. So see you guys then. All right, so just got back to the room. It's being cleaned very nicely, so we'll do a little room tour. This is the hallway. You come in here, we have a super nice bathroom, walk-in shower with a nice little chill zone there as well. Goes right up to the ceiling, the shower head. And this is the main area. So we got our desk set up here. There's me. This little kind of lounge area here, fridge where I had all my little snacks with fruit. Big, huge comfy bed. And then out here we got some epic building site views and also some sea views as well. And nice little chill spot there. So the plan is I'm gonna get some steps in, go for a little walk up the promenade, get like a proper meal into me as well. And then I got a podcast at 4:30 with someone called Frankie Lee. He has some pretty big guests on, he just had Andrew Tate on as well. So maybe I'll say some outrageous stuff just to follow suit. So that's at half 4, it's only like 8 minutes away from here, and that's the plan for today. Alright, so out on my daily walk. Nice little spot. And I went into the supermarket, right? This is my lunch, right? We got some Ghost electrolytes, 2 sushi rolls, big thing of watermelon, and a bunch of mango as well. It's actually like my favorite fruit ever. So all that was €20. Pretty solid. Like I was going to eat out like for lunch, but I'm just on my own. I just want something like nutritious and filling. Nice views as well. Gonna dig into this now and then walk back to the hotel. Alright people, podcast time. Usually I like to podcast first thing in the morning. If you're ever gonna ask me to do one, ask me to do it in the morning. It is about 4:30 PM now, so I gotta wake up, bring the energy. I'm a very morning person, but bro, I would never, I would never have the audacity though to go on someone's podcast and not bring the energy. It's just not me. So let's go Boom! All right, it is the end of the day, and over here I've been finishing off my days with a sauna. There is a killer one upstairs. It's like nice and hot, decorated nicely, aesthetic. So I've got some food being delivered on the way. With that Cream app that literally can deliver anything. So I've got like a nice noodle chicken high protein bowl. So I'm gonna go do a sauna, gonna bake myself in that, and then by the time I come back down, the chicken noodles should be here. So that's a good evening right there. All right, rooftop sauna, let's go. So this is the pool at night. You can actually jump in there, it's heated. And then in here is the kind of like spa area. Oh, this is the gym, by the way. Pretty cool. And then we have the sauna in here. Here we go. In case you can't tell, we're in the sauna now. So, water essential as well. I find I sleep better after doing these in the evening as well. I feel like just more relaxed, calm, meditated, a little bit debloated as well. So, all right, I'm gonna zone out here for a little bit, be alone with my own thoughts in Dubai in the sauna contemplating and planning the year, and then it's chicken noodle time. All done. I always feel so pumped after sauna as well. I've got big expectations for these noodles. I am absolutely starving. It's from The 500 Calorie Project. It looks solid. There's a load of chicken there. That'll do the job nicely. Mm, wow, that is super good. So guys, wrap things up here. That is unbelievable. Wrap things up here. Hope you enjoyed a nice chilled day in the life in Dubai. See you in the next one. Keep it real. Peace. Aah!
