Full Day Of Intermittent Fasting - Grocery Shopping And Arm Workout

Rob Lipsett documents a single day of trying intermittent fasting (IF) while sharing his pre‑workout routine, a delts‑and‑arms gym session, and a detailed Lidl grocery haul. He explains why he likes IF (shorter eating window, appetite suppression, larger meals) and demonstrates his fasted coffee with Myprotein flavor drops. Throughout the vlog he updates viewers on his LF apparel line being sold out, a Cyber Monday sale, and his desire to broaden his channel beyond pure fitness into lifestyle, fashion, travel, and business, even hinting at a potential Dubai venture. In the gym segment he discusses the repetitive nature of his workout programming, asks for audience feedback on workout footage versus vlog content, and showcases specific arm supersets. The grocery segment lists the foods he bought (bananas, asparagus, courgette, frozen berries, sweet potatoes, cottage cheese, kangaroo steaks, prawns, wraps, parsnip fries, etc.), his supplement choices (Myprotein, Impact Whey Isolate, multivitamins), and his meal‑prep plan, culminating in a 750‑calorie dinner and a protein‑sorbet snack. He also shares productivity habits (airplane mode, music playlists, work on emails) and encourages community interaction, urging comments, likes, and questions. The video blends fitness guidance, nutrition tips, business updates, and personal lifestyle commentary.

Yo, what's up everyone? So full day of everything, vlog, whatever, coming at you in a different way. And the past couple of days I've actually been trying out intermittent fasting. Probably seen some other YouTubers doing IF, such as, you know, Greg O'Gallagher, Brandon Carter, you know, there's a few more, right? I've spoken about it in a lot of Q&As in the past. I have tried before. It's basically you just shorten your eating period so you get to eat bigger meals. It tends to suppress appetite and it's a bit more simple, you know, you don't you don't have to carry around 8 Tupperware boxes and stuff like that throughout your day. So some people like it. You know, I have clients doing intermittent fasting. I have clients eating 6 meals a day. You know, I'm not married to one approach. So yeah, I'm just trying it out myself for the past week, and I just thought I'd record a day for you guys. So yeah, I'm gonna show you now, get my day started. I'm actually gonna just start off with a black coffee. And see, the thing is, when you have coffee or pre-workout or any stimulants fasted, it hits you hard. It kicks in immediately. So it feels awesome, to be honest. So, alright, let's go. Also, what do you think of that facial hair that I've got going on? Should I grow a beard? Should I not? It's a big call. It's a very big call. So yeah, this is going to be my pre-workout today. Not going to have breakfast. I'm just going to have I think there's about like 2 mugs. I'm gonna flavor it a bit. I'm gonna put some Myprotein flavor drops in it. Hop on the laptop and get some work done, 'cause this weekend, whoa, busiest weekend of my life. All LF gear completely out of stock, not one thing left. So thank you for that. You know, I'm overwhelmed. I'm just like, wow, you know, thank you. Seriously, your support is just so cool. And like, I like to think that this isn't just like a YouTube channel and like, you know, you're not just subscribers. I think it's kind of like a little community. That we got going on. Like, I always reply to the comments, people always send me emails. Like, like, the amount of transformations I've gotten from people who aren't even clients, they're like, I just watch your videos and I've completely done this with my physique with the advice you give out. And I'm like, that is, that is amazing, you know. So thank you for all that. And the LF community, we strong. Oh, we hella strong. Yeah, so I'm gonna put a drop or two of white chocolate into this and then just some black coffee. Remember, when you're intermittent fasting, have things that contain no calories, and coffee and this stuff is in that category. Absolutely quality. Anyways, okay, 20 days until I go to Thailand. I say that because the weather outside today, oh my God, it's depressing. Even though the gym is an indoor activity, when the weather's bad, don't you just want to like stay inside? I was thinking, right, I want to start, you know, having these vlogs, this channel, less about fitness. You know, obviously I always love fitness, but like more about other things like lifestyle, fashion, traveling, and you know, and just kind of like life advice and guidance in general, business even, and trying like incorporate it all. Like, you know, fitness will always just be like a foundation part of my life, so you know, don't worry about that. But I just want to make it kind of a broader range because fitness is actually a niche kind of market. Like all the, all the people, all the vloggers on like millions of subscribers subscribers, you know, none of them are like too into fitness and stuff like that. They're all kind of just like everyday life. So, you know, that's— I would love to appeal to a broader audience. But so yeah, let me know what you think about that. Gonna get this coffee in. It's just constant emails. It's my life. Yeah, try getting to half of them all and then hit the gym. Getting some work done with my assistant. But today is actually Cyber Monday and like I was gonna have another sale on the website, but again, all clothing is completely sold out and my client spaces are, are too full because I actually do it all myself. A lot of YouTubers and kind of figures in the fitness industry, they don't do their own plans. They just pay a team to do all their plans. When you email them, it's not actually them replying. So there's a fun, fun fitness industry fact for you today. All right, so that is my stuff done now. I'm gonna chip away at a few more emails and then, um, I'm trying to dial some arms. All right, so just about to head into the gym, listen to some tunes, getting pumped up. My whole playlist, I do have Spotify, just search Rob Lipsett, you'll find this. Myprotein sent me out some Myprotein headphones. Seriously, like, is there anything they do not make? But, uh, so like I was saying, miserable weather, and I've been contemplating this for a while. I've got a few friends out there, a few contacts. I'm honestly thinking about like spending a year in Dubai, like going there, opening up a business, because like business is booming in Dubai. So do I have any watchers, viewers from Dubai? Anyways, right, good vibes, good vibes, music, gym, let's go! Alright, what's going on everyone? So today is, like I said, delts and arms day at OHP. And something I want to talk about, right, is I've been seeing a lot of comments on other YouTubers' videos and they're like, yo, I end up skipping through the workout part of your videos. And like, I kind of see where this is coming from. Like, I have 3 days. Like, I have a squat day, a bench day, and an overhead press day. So like, my workouts are like so repetitive. But like, if you want to get better at a lift, you know, you want to do them often. Actually, check this out, I'm putting on knee sleeves for elbow sleeves. That's when you know your arms are fucking huge. But yeah, I'm just kind of trying to say for the laugh. But yeah, so let me know. Like, you know, my workouts, like I said, they don't change very much. So Do you as viewers find, even on other YouTubers, do you find yourself skipping through the workout parts? Because like, there's no new exercises, you know, there's— you got to stick to your same compound movements, do your isolation work, you know. There's no new exercise coming out. The squat will always be the squat, the bench will always be there, and so on so forth, you know. You'll always have an overhead pressing movement for shoulders. There's no newfangled— there's no new magic trick. So, you know, what do you think? Do you find workout footage is getting a bit repetitive and you enjoy the kind of vlog, daily life aspect of the videos more? Do you enjoy like the food and the meals more? So give me some feedback on that. And, you know, what do you think of other YouTubers' workout footage and stuff? But anyways, I am just doing an arm superset here, so literally just tricep pushdowns and then I just rearrange the cable and then do some curls. I love this little attachment, it's got like kind of balls on the end of it, so like there you get a good grip there. Getting good grip on the balls, nice. Yeah, I just said that. But, uh, so yeah, anyways, had a good arm day again. I just went on to some, uh, bicep curls with kind of an alternating twist. So you start in a hammer position, then you bring that pinky up to your shoulder and just really get a good squeeze. Get a good contraction. Also, I did end up purchasing a microphone, a Blue Yeti one, so hopefully the audio is a bit clearer on this one. So I think I'm going to use these workouts, the workout footage, to just end up like talking about a topic and just kind of using it as, you know, me to be able to talk about something and just give you something a little bit more interesting to watch rather than me sitting at my desk and, you know, maybe commentate on the workout. But as I said, there's never gonna be anything newfangled really. But so anyways, I'm gonna leave you with this footage and let me know what you think. Enjoy the rest of the video. Best way to knock out some cardio, put on a good podcast, watch some YouTube, whatever it is, and just zone out and get it done. Alright, so just home. Savage workout. Now let me tell you what about to go down. I'm gonna get some food in, gonna cook up some dinner. We on this channel, we know that your total daily intake is always the most important thing, but when you're fasted, what you eat after your workout, post-workout, becomes more important. But so anyways, I'm gonna shower now, I'm gonna debate shaving off this stubble or not, and then we'll see, you know, what I cook up. But I also did a big grocery shop the other day. I didn't, you know, get everything I eat, but like I got a good few things. So I'm gonna leave you with that. I recorded it. Just to put into this vlog. So enjoy. Yo, what is going on everyone? So I did a quick little stop off at Lidl just on my way back from the gym. So first of all, this isn't like everything I eat, you know. I always have like a big huge thing of like pasta, rice, potatoes, all the basics on hand. And then, you know, I get all my kind of meats from Kerrigan's Foods for Fitness and stuff like that. But this is just what I picked up today. So starting off on the left here, got some bananas, obviously another kind of basic thing. Asparagus, pears, some miscellaneous fruit. I like to chop up limes, add them to like my pre-workout and BCAAs or like just any drink. Scallions, I think these are called. This is like, this feels like, this feels like I'm on a game show. I'm like, uh, scallions. Next up we've got some courgette. These are great. For like bulking out a meal. So like chop these all up and like put them in a pasta or something. Frozen raspberries, frozen strawberries. Again, berries are like really expensive when you buy them fresh, so I'll just get big huge bags of them frozen. It's way cheaper. Sweet potato, um, salsa. Again, really low calories, makes a meal a lot more flavorsome. Cottage cheese, or as I like to call it, bodybuilder's mayonnaise. Mushroom, again, this is kind of just like a good way to get some more veg in, like courgette, and bulk up a meal. So, you know, add them to like rice dishes and whatever, wraps and stuff. Salad bowls, I always have a ton of these. Like, if you're on a cut, the whole thing— like, this is really big— the whole thing is like 80 calories. So like, I'd always just take bits out of that, throw them to my meals. So very handy when you're cutting. Kangaroo steaks, haven't tried these before, really lean. I think for dinner tonight I'm gonna have these. And then some king prawns and nice with a salad. Some Mediterranean herb wraps. Again, I love making like homemade burritos and stuff like that out of them. And just some quick rice. Usually I boil my rice, but if I'm ever in a rush, I have some of this. Not So Poppity Soda. And the reason for that is just I wanted to cut down on my caffeine intake because, you know, if I'm ever having like pre-workout or like coffee and stuff like that, I just found myself getting too used to caffeine, just you know, shit start feeling like decaf. These look pretty good. They're roast parsnips. Again, like, you know, they're really kind of like filling and they're low-ish carbs for like the amount you get. So I imagine they're gonna taste kind of like sweet potato fries. For dinner tonight, I'm gonna have like that, that, and that. And some more salsa dip. Seasoning: black peppercorns and hot chili powder. Really good try. Garlic powder is another great one. And then some coffee. Uh, toothpaste and toothbrushes because it's good to brush your teeth. I don't know how many macros is in this, but, uh, we're not gonna count that today. Mouthwash, and then just some, you know, generic multivitamin and some vitamin C. Someone actually made like an interesting point there. They're like, hey, is the, you know, multivitamins you get in like the store as good as a supplement company? And When you think about it, you know, Lidl is a multi-billion dollar company. Like, they're like one of the top 10 biggest retailers on the planet. So if anything, it may even be better quality because they can certainly afford to not cut corners. Whereas, you know, the supplement industry is a niche industry. Usually I get these off Myprotein, but instead of waiting for them to get delivered, I thought I'd just pick them up today. So that's everything. I am going to cook up some dinner now because I'm really hungry, and so I'll catch you next time. Keep it real. So there are the parsnip fries and turkey burger. There's the filling for the burrito. Gonna do some cottage cheese and salsa. There's the wrap itself. I am pumped for this. Check that out. I'm gonna go to town on this. That meal was quality. Came to 750 calories. And see, that's the reason why I like intermittent fasting, because, you know, you can eat these huge big meals. Like, that was like something you'd get, like a wrap and fries fries and like Eddie Rockets, tastes great. But yeah, that's like kind of the main benefit behind it, you know. By default, you're gonna keep your calories in check because your eating window is smaller. Also guys, check this out, my friends over at Body First Nutrition, they sent me out— it's like a protein bar selection box. So, uh, obviously really nice, I'm sending out that, and it's a pretty good present, uh, or stocking filler for any gym heads, you know. These things meant to be insane. All right, next up, I'm back on that protein sorbet hype. Literally just frozen fruit in a sorbet maker and then add protein. I've also switched to Impact Whey Isolate. You know, it's got like zero fats and carbs, so it's a, you know, higher quality protein as well. I also feel it digests better and probably less lactose in it, so I thought, you know, why not But anyways, let's— it's like chocolate ice cream. Also put some cocoa powder in there too. All right, so after that weekend, I've got an overwhelming amount of work to do, which is great. You know, the more busy you are, the more work you have, it means you're progressing through life in general. So I'm gonna go airplane mode for like the next 5 hours, as I like to call it, and you know, just completely switch off. But I also got this package as well. ChristmasShirts.com. I love those kind of like corny Christmas jumpers. Love it, love it. Cheers, lad. So yeah, got a big drink of water here, laptop, printer, and it's just time to zone out. So I'll catch you in a bit. Alright, so a few hours into things now. I love dimming the lights. Put on some house music, kind of mellow house music, help me concentrate. The Spotify playlist I'm listening to right now is called 4 AM Calm Down, and I'm also listening to Electronic Concentration. So next kind of meal is gonna be a protein bar, not much to say there. And then I'm probably gonna have one more kind of, you know, bigger meal before I go to bed. But yeah, I'm having a good time, mellow, getting sucked up. I'm gonna finish up the day with an oat bowl, get some peanut butter involved as well. As well. Try some Greek yogurt on top of that. This is— Glenex stuff is awesome. It's like the same macros as Fage. Add some fats, peanut butter, you know, more carbs, less carbs, oats, some proteins. Yo, people make it out to be like doing algebra. Algebra gets you ripped. I'm gonna wrap things up there. Hope you enjoyed this, uh, kind of little full day of everything. Yeah, I'm probably gonna continue doing some intermittent fasting for maybe like a week or so, you know, maybe do some days, some days I won't. It's no big deal. Comment down below any questions you may have. I'm not like an IF expert, but you know, I know my fair share. So yeah, I love when you guys leave comments down below. As you know, I try to reply to all of them. Leave the video a like. Of course, I'll catch you next time. Keep it real.
