Full Day Of LEAN Bulking | 3,000 Calories

Rob Lipsett documents a full day of lean bulking while sick, eating roughly 3,000 calories across breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. He unboxes Myprotein and Alphalete gear, discusses travel plans for the LA Fit Expo with his friend Ben, and mentions a pending 10K charity run.

What's going on everyone? Welcome to today's video. Now excuse me, I'm feeling a little bit under the weather. I was up all night with kind of a cold, a sore throat, but nothing extreme. That's just why I'm wearing my robe, because I'm chilling, trying to recover. I'm not too sick. I'm just gonna get on with it. The show must go on. And you know, I'm not complaining. Anytime I'm like complaining about a cold or something like that, I just think of all the shit that's going on in the world. Today's gonna be a full day of bulking, a full day of eating. Now I taught full day of eating videos were like completely overdone on YouTube, but the last one I did, you guys really liked it. So you know what, I'm gonna bring full day of eating vids back into fashion. How manly is this robe? Especially the way it says hers on the back. So like I was saying, I'm feeling a bit blah, so I'm gonna make a good breakfast and then get the day rolling. All right, look at that. So we got pancakes with a banana on top and some sugar-free syrup and some stevia sweetener. That is gonna make me feel better, I just know it. Pancakes make everything better. All right, package from Myprotein. I think it's actually for Sarah, but I'm gonna open it anyways. You can tell Sarah's order when it mainly consists of chocolate bars and wafers and snacks. So, uh, yeah, that's basically what it is. And there's also some ZMAs, help us sleep, flavor drops, and pre-workout shots, Virtue bars, protein muffin mix, which is actually better for making pancakes than the pancake mix, sugar-free syrup, and then some shakers because we need more of them apparently. Okay, I'm feeling way better after that, but there's two things that I always think of when I don't record, and that's one, I could be going into a job that I hate So cannot complain there. And two, I think of an inspiration of mine, and there's very few people that I call an inspiration or an idol, and that would be Casey Neistat. Vlogs every single day, you know, works his ass off, and if he gets sick, he's just— he probably doesn't even faze him. He's probably just like, whatever. I think I saw an interview with him and he sleeps like 4 hours a night, so no excuses. I'm gonna go pick up Ben now. We're gonna get a workout in, go into a cool edit, so this video will be like half chillin' vlog with me eating, making gains, and then half sick edit. Alright, so usually like whenever I'm feeling a bit under the weather, I just recommend like plenty of fruit and veg, plenty of rest, and stay properly hydrated. But I just hit the chemist there, so I'm gonna get some Sudafed into me. Alright, so no excuses, ain't none but a peanut. Let's go hit this gym session. Alright, run us through the options here. Basically what we're looking at is for the LA Fit Expo in January. It's a kick-ass expo. I was there last year. I want to bring Ben because anytime I go to an expo, it's so hard to like vlog yourself and meet everyone and shake hands. So, you know, it'd be great to have Ben there. So we're just kind of working out some flights and like that would make for some very cool footage. And Ben would be on a ski trip. So like you'd be a badass. You'd be like, yeah, going skiing. Skiing, then I'm going to LA, like living the life. So that's what we're just— what we're looking at here now, right?
So basically, by the end of December, I'll be in France skiing with my friend. Direct flights are more expensive than return for whatever reason.
I mean, like, Skyscanner fucking us up.
Yeah, so I'm looking to fly to London from France and then from London to LA, but that means I'll be missing a flight from Dublin to London.
All right, so as you can probably tell, I'm tired, I'm sleep deprived, but you're gonna have days where you're working late, everything isn't perfect, maybe you forget some gear that you were meant to bring. We just gotta get on with it, the show must go on. So let's go and literally just give it our best. Also, you guys are very quick to remind me that my 10K video did hit 20,000 likes, so yes, I'm a man of my word, I am going to do the challenge. It's going to take me a while to prep for it, so give me some time, but I think I'm going to do it for charity, be it like set up a donation page, because let's face it, those videos get a lot of views, they're very entertaining, or even whatever I make off YouTube revenue on that video, give it to charity because, you know, that's just, uh, I just think it's the right thing to do. So, uh, me and Ben are gonna part ways now, and then we're gonna resume some, uh, some meals with me on my G7X. Okay, so quickly, uh, go through this. I stopped off after gym, got some groceries. So got apples, salad bowl, Craze. Look at that, made with oats, rice, and wheat, high in iron. That is health right there. Bread, light mayo, almond milk, bananas, berries, some low-fat quark, tomatoes, that pizza that I really like that has like 334 calories in half of it, sweet potatoes, and some burger buns. And that is everything. Next meal is a fillet of salmon with couscous— couscous? I don't know— and some asparagus too. It's one of the Nutri-Quick meals. Next meal is over 100g of oats. I'm gonna put a scoop of protein in there as well and get some raspberries in on the action too. Okay, this is why I don't understand some people can't get in calories. That 100g bowl of Craze cereal is 450 calories. Like, it is just too— eat the whole thing of it. 450 calories. Yeah. I didn't weigh mine. Shh, shh, shh. I've been looking forward to this all day. Oh yes. So like I said, that pizza that I picked up earlier on, which actually has a lot of protein in it, like you can see there's a lot of ham on it there as well. And of course, gotta get my veggies in, so I'm having a big side salad with that and some broccoli as well. Look at that. That is just— that's balance right there. New Alphalete gear also came in for me, and the reason I love being sponsored by these is because it's also like lifestyle. This has got kind of a diagonal fishtail action going on, a split at the sides. It's like a scoop neck. Then also got some performance t-shirts as well. I'm not sure if these are available on the website yet, but I think November 12th is the next launch, but they are Some serious stuff. Last meal of the day, I need to hit like roughly 1,000 calories, so I'm making me some Mexican. Also, apologies that I'm showing just my meals today. As I said, I'm feeling a little bit under the weather, um, so I'm having a full pack of basmati rice, that's like 380 calories, a turkey burger. I'm gonna chop that up, make mince, like 120 calories. Veggies as well, a wrap, 200 calories in one of them. And then to hit my fat intake, I'm gonna have some cheese and a bit of avocado guacamole. This gonna be good. Good. And in goes the rice. So there's the meal with some added guacamole and sour cream as well, and the cheese. I'm going to have this with some hot sauce and then throw some of that into the wrap too. That finishes off all the meals. Hope you got some good recipe ideas. All right, I need to finish up this vlog before I fall asleep. I'm just like powering through emails right now trying to get as much stuff done as possible. I'm still still feeling a bit rough. Apologies if I wasn't, you know, giving 100% in this vlog. But, uh, basically I just got some awesome news. I'll talk about that when it's all confirmed. A goal of mine at the start of this year was to travel more. I think travel is very important. You should try see as much of the world as possible. And at the moment, something I set myself for a goal, it was like this year 2016, gonna do the same for 2017. I want to go somewhere, travel at least once a month. Right now. That's all I'm gonna say, wrapping this vlog up here. Thank you so much for watching. Be sure to give it a thumbs up. Keep it real. I'm outta here. See you soon. Peace.
