What's up everyone? So today it's haircut day. Absolutely love it. Like, I swear to God, whenever I get a haircut, my performance in the gym increases. Boosts testosterone by 100%. So everyone's always asking me, you know, what haircut do I get? So today I'm going to bring you along with me. The boys over at Cut and Sew are hooking me up, and it is a beautiful day in Dublin. So, uh, let's see what's going on. Bit of a day in the life video. Let's go! Also, if you're wondering what I'm wearing today, I'm wearing black Nike Kaishi Runs, some kind of army combat things. Grey t-shirt, and then these fake-ass Ray-Bans. And if you're wondering why I look like a complete pedophile today, it's just because I got no product in my hair because I'm about to go get it cut. But anyways, let's go! Does anyone else feel like they are in Grand Theft Auto when driving around on the GPS? Because I sure as hell do. Yeah, I'm a bit of a badass. Oh man, also drinking some aminos, okay?
I'm pretty much— I like to—
at this stage, I'm just putting them with ice and drinking them for the fun of it because they like taste great. Said it before and I will stay off my hair. I said it before and I'll say it again, Dublin City on a hot day when everyone's just sitting out in the streets, you know, having a drink or eating some food, chilling with their friends— best city in the entire world, you know. I've been all over the place and I do, I do love Dublin. Dublin. It can be shit at times, but at the end of the day, it's home, and I probably wouldn't rather live anywhere else. Alright, we've abandoned the car.
I don't know where this place is, so I'm looking for it on foot.
I know it's on Wellington Quay though, so I should find it pretty easy. I have lived in Dublin all my fucking life, so I probably should. Boom, found it.
Yeah, so basically this is the dream. Yeah, which is cool, but the other shop is a lot smaller, not as—
this is slick. You've got like a bar, pool, everything. Oh my God.
Definitely not poverty.
Yeah, yeah, no, did not get a poverty haircut this time. Well, I went full out. Probably the best haircut I've ever gotten. I am feeling so fresh, and the attention to detail that they put in is just perfect. So highly recommend Cut and Sew. Place is sweet. And also, I just had such a great chat, um, in there with all the guys. Like, such down-to-earth fellows and just so easy to talk to. And it is also still a beautiful day. So I'm gonna put my hater blockers on. Oh yeah. So feeling a hundred times better after that. Couldn't recommend the place enough. But anyways, I am gonna go meet up with some pals in town and enjoy my day. Hope you like this quick little video.
And if anyone's wondering what haircut I get, it is a raw fade into a half blade.
What's going on everyone? So busy day. The day just flew by me and it is It is nearly 11 o'clock and I still gotta get a workout in. And I don't miss a day. That's— it's not what I'm about. So I'm gonna get myself a day pass to FlyFit Macken Street and just hit up a night workout. I don't know, I'm kind of just in the mood for it. Like, usually my favorite time to train is around between 12 and 2, but I don't know, for some reason I'm just hoping for an empty gym and I'm just in the mood to train. I'm not that tired. So I am gonna have a non-stimulant pre-workout. Show you what I got going on here. It is gonna be just the Amino Fuel I always take. Mainly taking it 'cause it's got the beta-alanine and citrulline malate in it and B vitamins. And I'm also gonna take 4 grams of additional citrulline malate. Citrulline malate is the ingredient that gives you the pump. It's what gives you the pump in pre-workouts, but they never have enough of it in pre-workouts. Also, Paper plates. If you ain't on that paper plate life, you don't know what you're missing out on. But anyways, so I'm gonna get that into me and then let's hit it up. Anyways, look what also just came in the post.
Boom. Shit just got real. That's some motivation to get to the gym, bust my ass off. Anyways, Also, here is the workout I'm gonna be doing today.
My tip is— tip of the day is always plan out your workout before you go in there, because there's nothing worse than just walking around the gym aimlessly looking like you don't have a clue what you're doing. So yeah, all my workouts as well on my site, they're all downloadable onto your phone. But I— so that's the plan for today. Let's go tonight!
Righty-o, so decided I'll do a little voiceover to get things going. Started off with this machine here as not many gyms have a pulldown machine with two cables on it, and I think this is my new favorite back exercise. The contraction you get, it feels amazing. You can kind of see I'm pausing at the bottom for a second and contracting my back. It feels great. So I did, I think, 4 sets of 10 of this, and then I threw in a drop set at the end too. Back was feeling pumped and really full too. So this is an upper body workout. It was meant to be a pull workout, but I just felt like I wanted to hit some other body parts too. And sometimes if you feel like doing some extra work, if you feel you're up to it, then do it. The gym should be enjoyable, and as long as you have some structure to your routine, focusing on compound movements, you're focusing on progressing your lifts, then feel free to have some fun with it. If you're not enjoying the process then it's not gonna last. You're not gonna be consistent. And as I always remind people, consistency is the key to seeing results. So tonight in this midnight workout, I was so focused for some reason. Maybe it was because there wasn't too many people in the gym, maybe it was because it was late, but I just felt great. And as you saw, no stimulant pre-workouts needed. As for how this prep is going, it's going well. I'm relatively lean and staying pretty full, pumped, and keeping my mass, which is an advantage I may have over others. But I've seen some of the guys I'm going up against, and the competition is of very high standards, so I'm not getting my hopes up too much. But I'm staying relaxed and not getting nervous by looking at the bigger picture, which is body power. If you want to make big in the fitness industry. Get your priorities straight, you know, focus on social media, that is without a doubt number one, no debate there. Focus on networking with other like-minded individuals like I did in my last video, but again, that just comes back to social media. And yeah, competing can get your name out there, but there's far, far more important things. And again, when you see someone win a competition, where do you see they've won? You see it on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter. So again, I'm sounding like a broken record, but it just comes back to social media. So I'm gonna try and enjoy it as much as I can. To be honest, one of the main reasons I entered is so I could provide you guys and girls with some content, and it's not like I wasn't gonna be cutting at this time of the year anyway. Also, this is a question I get asked a lot, uh, where are my wireless headphones from? They are from Jaybird Sports and I love them. Uh, yes, I was sent them for free, but I am not affiliated with them in any way. Even said I could give them a bad review if I wanted, so I thought that was pretty cool. And they are definitely Lip approved anyways. So then I did a few sets of close grip bench. Something I think I need to work on is my triceratops. Let me know what you guys think I should focus on in the next bulk I do. I think next time I go into a surplus, I'm gonna really focus on chest, triceps, and traps. Hamstrings too, as my quads and calves are there, but my hammies are pretty much non-existent. And, you know, I don't mind if you guys give me some constructive feedback. I'd actually really appreciate it. Also, my plan for when I finish this comp is to keep on cutting at the same macros as BodyPower is 10 days after. Probably throw in 2 refeed days and then slowly raise my calories to find my maintenance. Then I'm gonna stay lean for summer as I'll be doing some traveling. Anyways, just finished off some isolation work as you're seeing now. Let me know if you like these kind of videos and be sure to give it a thumbs up, leave a comment, and subscribe if you haven't already. That's all for today. Keep it real, I'm outta here.
