Abolish sleevery. That's what I think. Anyways, right, I posted on my Snapchat a couple of days ago, you know, I asked, hey, would you guys like me to film a tutorial showing you how to turn a t-shirt into a gym tank top? And I said, you know, got a ton of replies saying they'd love to see this. So you know what, that's what is going down today. But this kind of fit that I'll be showing you how to make today, how to cut today, I think it's actually called the surfer fit, surfer tank top, and it's really coming to fashion these days, you know, companies like Strong Liftwear, that Australian gym company, they start making them to buy like this. Nike and Under Armour have started making them too, and so Topman. So a really cool fit and really easy to make. It's hard to mess it up. So without further ado, let's kick it off. Alright, so first things first, all you're gonna need is good scissors and a ruler. Now, okay, the main thing we want to get right here is we want to get it even. So that's how we don't mess it up and, you know, it looks good, is if we just cut at all even points. And also, you probably want to go a size up. I usually take a size small in these t-shirts, but I'm actually cutting a medium because I like to wear tank tops baggier. I think it looks better. So, okay, the first thing we do is get our measurements. So you want to cut— depends how deep you are and how much lats you want to show off, but I want it around here, so I am gonna go up 27 centimeters on each side. So just do a little snip right at 27. Alright, okay, next you want to measure from the neck. So I am going to cut this about 8 centimeters out on each side. Okay, so now that you've got your 4 points cut, you literally just fill in the lines. What I like to do is— you can actually use a pen for this. What I like to do is simply just kind of mark the t-shirt and I can actually see a bit of an outline there, so I'm gonna do that on each side. Alright, so perfect, and now it's time to cut. Alright, so that looks nice and even, and if your edges end up a bit jagged, once you wash it, they all kind of smooth out and it looks way better. So I'm gonna get this on me now, see how it looks. Alright, so that's all there is to it. You got yourself a nice new tank top. I actually do this with so many of my t-shirts because I'm all about abolishing sleevery, and it also releases the lats. But I hope you enjoyed, hope you found this helpful. Get cutting those sleeves and keep it real.
