How To Make Money While Travelling | Maldives Vlog

Rob Lipsett shares how to make money while traveling, emphasizing that the real key is outsourcing and delegating work to a team you trust, even when it's hard to let go. He walks through his own setup: a small team handling his website, events, and academy while he moves between locations. The video also covers his daily routine in the Maldives, from sunrise workouts to vlogging with a Canon M6, Sony A6500, and drone.

Good morning everyone and welcome to today's video. So I just woke up there and I'm walking down the beach. I can't believe I'm technically walking to work, right? So I'm walking down the beach to take my first class of the day and I have to say I'm genuinely loving these classes. I'm taking usually one in the morning and then one at sunset. It's very nice to actually do some in-person training because I've always been, you know, into online coaching you know, ebooks, online plans and all that. That's kind of my forte when it comes to fitness. It suits me a little bit better, but it is obviously great. You know, I'm a social guy, I'm a people's person. It's great to, you know, get hands-on with things. So I've really, really been enjoying these workouts, and they're also keeping me quite, quite trim out here. Anyways, welcome to another day in paradise. Gonna take you along my day, maybe talk about a couple of interesting topics, and just have a good video in general. So give it a thumbs up, subscribe sit back, relax. Let's get into it. By the way, this right here, it's called Oriental Beach, and this is like my arena, okay? So this whole beach is mine to use for workouts, and I usually, you know, start off with sprints there to warm up. It's like actually perfect 100-meter running field, and then I have to work out just in the middle here on the beach. Alright, so workout done, and I hung around for a little bit extra there because, as you can imagine, there are a lot of prestigious and interesting people at this resort. So it's great to just have a conversation of what they do for business, what they do for a living. The Rob Lipsett tip of the day is talk to more people, right? Get out into the universe, network, communicate. That's what we're meant to do. So now I am very hungry. I did that workout fasted. Just water and coffee. So I think it's French toast time again. This battery is also about to go, so I'm gonna go charge it. This is the Canon M6 that I mainly use for vlogging, Sony A6500 for the slow-mo shots and photos, and then I have a GoPro, drone, stuff like that with me as well, because that question gets asked every single time. But, uh, so yeah, I think I have enough cameras to vlog for a week anyways. Guys, I got so roasted by Christian, Max, and Shawley. To my defense, what I meant by that was me and Sarah aren't big drinkers, so we're not big drinkers when we're together. But yes, I do enjoy the odd drink when I'm with the fellas, all right? I am Irish. Irish. With that said, Christian, Max, and Shawlie are all coming to Dublin for my event on February 10th. If you want to grab a ticket, it's on the RDS in Dublin, first link in the description box. And it is going to be so much fun, and it's also going to be very informative, a lot of value. They're going to talk about how they grew all their businesses, how they work and travel the world and do what they do for a living. So I'd love to see you guys there. Again, link in the description box. If you want to know anything about me, it's probably in the description box. Now I'm so hungry. So here's what people think we eat, and then here is what we really eat, and then there's more coming. French toast. All right guys, so you like to see me eating food, so here you are. This is pastry heaven. Kraft's French toast. An array of pastries over there, and then I got some egg whites for protein too. So we are in literally heaven right now. Yo, remember when iPhones used to break so easily? Now you can literally drop them on the ground, cycle over them— big genius here— and they'll be absolutely fine. All right, people, so I'm wrapping up this vlog here. And so now, while it may look like Yes, we're having so much fun, you know, all fun and games, all work, no play. And it's actually quite a bit of work that we do over here. So Sarah is just editing right there, and I am about to sit down and do the same and also do a few emails for the event that I spoke about earlier, thecreatoragency.com, on February 10th. So it's going to be a huge event. And I kind of want to talk about a topic in this video, and it is, you know, how do you kind of work while traveling the world? Okay, maybe I'll title this video that. And it's an interesting topic, and like you can say the obvious things like get a job that allows you to work online, like, you know, a web developer, you know, an e-commerce website, and even social media content creator, photographer, videographer, all that. So, you know, that's fairly obvious. Anything that allows you to work from a laptop. But one thing that I've really, really realized in the past year that will allow you to do this successfully is learn how to outsource and learn how to delegate tasks. And that is very difficult. It sounds a lot easier than it is, and something that I've had a lot of kind of, you know, problems doing myself. Like, you know, a lot of trust issues. You don't want to let go, you know, your business, your baby. You don't want to hand it to someone else just in case something goes wrong. And thankfully now I've really built up a great team to help me with these events and to help me with RobLipsett.com, to help me with my websites, to help me with Raw James Academy, you know, all of that. Okay. I wouldn't even call them staff because like I'm friends or even family with a lot of them. Um, so outsourcing is probably my biggest tip and just learn to kind of let go and trust people. And look, if something does go wrong, that's life, okay? You just gotta embrace it and learn from it. So I hope you enjoyed today's vlog. We also got some cool drone shots that I'm very excited to go and edit up now. They'll probably be in this video. Uh, caught an amazing sunset as well. We ate a lot of food at the buffet. It's a killer, right? Next video, perhaps I'll do, um, you know, my tips on staying in shape while doing all this traveling. So good night, love you guys, see you tomorrow. Keep it real, I'm out here.
