Right, so it's the weekend and I've got myself a little weekend ritual, you know. When I have a bit of extra time in the morning, I like to make protein pancakes. Who the hell doesn't? So today, when I was doing, you know, when I was making my protein pancakes, I was like, you know what, I'm going to record it. And all the recipes I do, by the way, you know, they're, you know, I'm actually eating them afterwards. They're just me going about my day, you know. So this is happening. This is happening now. This is real life. So I'm going to show you how to make perfect protein pancakes. So enough of me talking. Let's kick it off. Alright, so you know I keep things simple, so we're going to go through the ingredients first off. So it's going to be eggs, banana, protein powder. Fair trade, because I'm a sound man, oats, low-fat yogurt, crunchy peanut butter, milk, protein, and you can either use a food processor or a blender. It's all the same. Alright, so we're going to start off by putting 50 grams of oats into our mixer. So that's that out of the way. Next, going to stick in the banana. Just break it up into little pieces. On average, a banana weighs about 100 grams, so yeah, this came out to 95. It's not going to be make or break. Next, just crack in 2 large eggs. Also, if you want a bit of extra protein without the fat, crack in an egg white. Of course, nothing wrong with egg yolks. I eat egg yolks every single day, but but just if you want to up the protein a bit. Also, when you're putting in a different ingredient, just keep setting the scales to zero so you can track easily what you're putting into it. So next we're going to go for 20 grams of Crunchy Peanut Butter. Then it's just going to be a small bit of low-fat yogurt, about 50 grams. The yogurt, it just adds a bit of consistency to it. Then lastly, we got the Protoss. One scoop should do it. And now usually I'd say the safest bet is to go for vanilla, but like, you know, you could get creative and throw in something, something a bit more crazy. Like, you know, your oats, your eggs could be chilling there, and all all of a sudden, you know, bam! You throw in some strawberry protein powder and they're just like, whoa, we strawberry now. So we got everything in here and then just blend it up. Now if the consistency is a bit too thick, put a drop of milk in, just a small bit. You might not even need it. Alright, not necessary, but add a bit of salt, just a pinch. And a bit of cinnamon. Just gives it that, gives it a nice little twang. Okay, so we are left with our pancake mix. And now this is a serious life tip. I bought this thing in like the Pound Shop or Euros, whatever we're working in now. And it's like made for eggs and pancakes just to stop them going everywhere. So I'm going to put it in this and then flip it onto the bigger pan. It just makes them so perfect and round and stops things from getting messy. Also, also gonna use this nonstick cooking spray. It's like 1 calorie per spray, so not bad. Here's where the magic happens. Look how clean and easy this is. Boom! No mess, absolutely perfect protein pancakes. Ah, now that is what I'm talking about. Repeat this until all the pancake mix is gone and it's gonna be a good-ass day. Also, it's not a bad tip to just cover it for a second when you're cooking them, just make sure it cooks throughout. Now that is an aesthetic stack of pancakes. And my friends over at Nutrition Ireland also sent me some natural protein Nutella, so I think that's rather fitting for this recipe. As if things just couldn't get any better. So there we go, my perfect protein pancake recipe. And not only is it delicious, but you know, you got those— you got some protein, you got carbs, you got them healthy fats coming from the eggs, you even got potassium coming from bananas, the health benefits of oats. I'm gonna eat this, I'm gonna hammer legs in about 2 hours, and I'm gonna set all kinds of PRs. So thanks for watching. As always, tweet it to me, Instagram it to me, even Snapchat it to me, you know what I'm saying? But I'm gonna wrap things up there. See you next time. Keep it real. I'm out.
