What's going on guys, welcome to today's vlog. We are in Tulum. I've been saying it wrong the whole time, I've been saying Tulum. That's such an Irish way of saying it. So we have got a little bit of updating to do. I think the last video was like a full day of eating in Marbella. I mentioned that I was going to Tulum. One thing I didn't mention, and it was the big project that I've kind of been hinting at the last couple of months, is I have bought a home. I've bought my first property, and it's a villa in Marbella. This is just so big for me. I'm so happy. I announced on Instagram, I'm sure a lot of you guys have seen. I've even started a page where I'll be documenting the process of renovating it because it's a villa that is about 4 minutes from Puerto Banús in an amazing location. And oftentimes when get a property in a really good location, you're gonna have to kind of do it up a little bit, because if you want something newer, you go outside. But it's just absolutely perfect. I'm enjoying the process. I found some good builders. I got an amazing deal. And I'm gonna do a whole separate video on property, on what I've learned as a newcomer to this area, and kind of how I went about the whole process. So please drop some questions below in the comments, or also DM me them on Instagram @roblipsett. And also, the villa page is @villalipsett if you want to check it out. So I'll be doing so much with this villa. It should be done in about 3 months. So I've of course recorded all the befores. I've done a house tour before, but I want to have something to compare it to because right now it doesn't look like much, and it'll be a lot more interesting and striking if I have both the after and the before together in the same video. So stay tuned for that. But the thing I want to get across most in this video is I just want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who watches my videos, who interacts with my content online, and who's been following this crazy journey Even if you've been here since day one with George the cat, living in that weird house that I used to live in, or even if you've just joined in last month, I really appreciate it. I truly do. And I just love this journey so much and I love sharing it with you guys. So honestly, just thank you. I'm so grateful. The building on the villa has started today and we've actually got this Mexico trip booked for months and we thought that the house process was going to be finished earlier than that. But it's really all came at once that the house kind of sale went through, we had this trip, the building started, but it kind of worked out in a way because while it's basically a construction site, we can leave the builders to it and we're here for a month and we basically just rented this apartment. Again, it's like the same price as just renting in Dublin or Marbella and we're here for a month and there's going to be a lot of good people out here as well, you'll see that later on in the month. The gyms here are also insane, you probably know the world's most famous Tulum Jungle Gym and yeah, it's going to make for some epic content and I'm just delighted to be here. Quick little villa tour. Okay, Linda is in there getting ready for the beach day. So before we go into things, but this is the little kitchen. This is the worktop here. We got a nice big fridge. This is the main entrance. We got really nice tall big doors. This is my bathroom here. Hello. Another bathroom in there. This is Linda's bathroom, so I'm kind of afraid to go in there. And then this is the main bedroom too. Got all my stuff here. Look how organized, look how organized I am, come on. And then outside on the balcony, you actually have a little kind of plunge pool. And then last but not least, you got a little seating area where you can go chill outside. So guys, that is it. Let the Tulum, Tulum vlogs begin. Am I the type of guy that brings BCAAs on holiday with him? Yes. So we're going to do a little scoop of this. I just kind of sip on these. All day, every day. This is the Lemon Crush from obviously Ghost. I'm trying to get a Ghost shit in a day here because I'm like, technically we're closer to America, so it should be possible. Also, speaking of the great state of USA, great United States of America, I'm also going to be going directly to Alpha Land on about January 20th, um, to link up with the crew. It's been 2 years, can you believe it? So that's one thing I'm kind of most excited about, to be honest. We have the Tulum trip, and then we go to America, and then we come back and finish off the villa. It's going to be a great year. Ah, there you are. So we made it to Papaya Playa, and if I was a tree, I think I'd be the gratitude tree, or at least I'd try to be the gratitude tree. This is a really quiet time of year. We came just a few days before the crazy season starts, which is December, December 26 onwards. Like, prices shoot up overnight. So we're kind of enjoying the quietness, but this place is obviously where like festivals and stuff go on. It is just so cool. I've never been just anywhere quite like this. Jungle, stick in a QR code. Yeah, all jungle nations, like QR code. No one has ever made a comeback as good as the QR code in recent years. It's absolutely insane. We're gonna go in now. We're going to get a bed and get a little bit of sunbathing done. Come on, get a cocktail! Only if it's sugar-free, gluten-free, macro-friendly. I was just about to sit down there and I just noticed this guy absolutely flattened. He is flattened in there. He is so chilled out. Is he alive? I hope he is. Anyways, here we are. We'll let this little guy sleep. Would you like to have a stubble? Yes? No? I'm just trying to be Tulum. Rugged. I'm just trying to be beachy. That's where we are now, look at this. He's even got like the angelic music going on. All right, people, so successful day at the beach club. Linda's looking amazing. I'm wearing a cute dress, but I'm just hiding it underneath this little top because it does get breezy. And she does get cold at night as well. Uh, but so we're going to a place called Casa Banana tonight. I'm going to throw in some phone clips later on, but today was excellent, right? So I hope you guys enjoyed it, and we will see you at Casa Banana. What is going on everyone? Welcome to today's workout. We are in some new surroundings. The place I've chosen to join up while I'm here in Tulum is Evolve Fitness Gym. It has the nice balance of old school feeling with new equipment that you know I'm fond of, and it doesn't have sand all over the floor, which is a rare find for a gym in Tulum. So while I'm out here, I'm going to be switching to an upper/lower split, which I absolutely love. It's one of my favorite splits. I'm also going to be using this trip as a bit of a training deload. I've honestly been training the hardest in my life the past year, and I'm looking forward to just relaxing and enjoying myself here in the gym, and also food-wise, as I'm sure you'll see in this video. So we start off with some bench press, which felt all right. Definitely feeling being a bit out of routine, but hey, that is life. We moved on to a plate-loaded incline press, which felt absolutely amazing. One of the best machines I've ever come across, just had a really good feeling to it. After that was some chest supported row, and this machine is just positioned perfectly beside the window to get that sick lighting on show. So big fan of that one. With my upper workouts, I still like to go back and forth with pushing and pulling movements. So for example, after the chest supported row, I'll do a pushing movement like shoulders here, and then I'll go back to a pulling movement such as lat pulldowns, as you will see here. I find not only do I get a kind of 3D all-round pump from this, but I find less shoulder soreness than if I would put, say, all my pushing movements at the very beginning and bunch them all together. So I also feel I can lift more. If you're hitting multiple muscle groups, in a single workout, try to position them accordingly. So I finished off some pump work, checked the physique, did some dips for triceps and some biceps. So that's it, my friends. Please drop a like if you're enjoying the video, and I'll see you in the next clip. All right, so workout complete. We joined up there for a month, and it was €42 each, which is actually quite good. It's cheaper than Marbella anyways. By the way, this is the beginning of the main strip right here. It's the start of kind of, uh, the pueblo, or the main town in Tulum, and We are living or staying in between here and the beach in a place called Aldeazama, which in my opinion is a happy medium because prices down the beach are insanely high. So if you want to kind of go out for a casual dinner, try the street tacos, or go to the gym, all the good ones are down there. So I recommend staying in between the two in Aldeazama in an Airbnb. Anyways, we're gonna go home now for a little bit, do some editing, get some work done, and then chill for the day before we go down to the beach. All right people, we're back at HQ and I am hitting some of my protein intake for the day with some good old egg whites. We're still about that egg white life even when we're away. But basically, so what we do is kind of try to intermittent fast, you know, eat many protein-based foods during the day, and then at dinner go all out, enjoy ourselves. So we're going to one of our favorite places tonight, meet a few friends. So that's the plan for today. And also, if you eat out constantly, unless you're eating like street tacos nonstop. You're gonna spend a lot, especially if you're eating down the beach. It is very pricey. So we're going for some egg whites for lunch. How exciting! Might put some salsa on it as well. Right, this is lunch. So don't all shout at Once for this recipe. Don't flood my DMs, okay? It's a complicated one, but I'm sure you guys can get this, okay? It's a plate of egg whites with hot sauce and salsa on it and salt and pepper to season. That's how we do it on this channel. I like— I'm not, I'm not going to glamorize things. I'm just gonna be honest, that's what I'm eating for lunch. This is real life. All right, people, so 2021, over and out. Outfit for Zandvoort Festival. All right, guys, don't know where we're gonna use this footage, but this is the last day of 2021. Yeah, crazy year. Big things for next year. Little Lipsett baby, Fuelcakes, Gameplan, so much to look forward to. So signing out, keep it real. Oh yeah!
