IBIZA 2020: What It Was Really Like...

All right, so I've been psych— fucking brain in a day. So I've been cycling around for a long time, so hungry. So I need a bit of health in my life, so we got some broccoli, tomato, goat's cheese, spinach, kale, chicken, all that good stuff. So we're gonna do this and then apparently we're going to some beach club, have a brew for Lou's birthday. I have to have a beer at every stop. Look at this joke, man. Mike, can we get a swig for the vlog? So there's a margarita and we are in a place called Sa Trinxa. We're having some drinks in Sa Trinxa. You gotta like the vlog for that, please. Please God, like the vlog. I'm from the States.

Next on today's list is we're finally going to my hotel. So I'm staying in Wikiwoo Hotel for the next 2 weeks in San Antonio. So Mike is kind enough to give me a lift over. It's a beautiful evening to go for a cruise as well. Mike's kind enough to give me a lift over and it's gonna be great to not be living out of a suitcase and have a base of operations. So let's go. This is home for the next 2 weeks. Oh my God, like, absolutely amazing. Let's get the lights on here. I just can't believe I'm here for 2 weeks. Oh my God. What a base of operations. I'll set up a little office here on my little love heart-shaped chair. I get the laptop out now. Got a big huge double comfy bed. Pool is closed at the moment, I think. Everyone's chilling. Wow. Now I just got a fresh fade, so I was like, you know what, it would be rude not to vlog. Plan for today is I'm just about to go hit the gym. Hopefully I can find someone in there to help me record, and then I'm going to meet Mike in Ocean Club, and this could be one of the last days that we go to Ocean Maybe not, I'll probably end up there tomorrow. But it's my last weekend in Ibiza, so it's a beautiful day. I think it's the hottest day so far. And again, I've just had the craziest week of my life. Yeah, I'm just feeling grateful and I want to document it as well. So yeah, give the video a thumbs up. Let's see what happens today. I have no idea what's going to happen today, so let's just have fun. Let's lift some weights, get haircuts. I hang out with Big Chesty Mike. Let's go! These things are the best. You don't have them in the UK or Ireland, and they're so good, especially during your working out. Just so refreshing. All right guys, so this is my full body holiday maintenance training split. You've seen it a few times before, but this is basically the split that I do when I'm traveling around and and I know I'm gonna make it to the gym maybe 3, 4 times a week compared to the usual 5 to 6 days a week that I train. It's a full body split, and I usually start off with legs and go on some push and pull, all compound movements, and then finish off with just a little bit of isolation movements. The reason I do mainly compound movements is that's what's going to give you the most bang for your buck in the shortest amount of time. And this is honestly a great program. Anytime that I've ever, you know, done it for maybe 2 to 3 weeks while I'm traveling, I always come home and I never really lose any progress. The volume on it is decently high as well, a lot of drop sets in there too. But yeah, it's a great split and it always does the job and keeps things ticking over. So yeah, I was delighted to be able to make it to the gym a good few times in Ibiza. But yeah, you feel so much better, so much fresher after just getting a pump on the gym. So yeah, this was called Frail Gym or Frail Gym. It's in San Antonio and I end up getting a 2-week membership for €40. So yeah, it's ideal. But I hope you're enjoying the vlog. Um, surprised that there's about 2 workouts in this Ibiza vlog. It is a fitness channel, don't forget that. But yeah, I hope you're enjoying it, and let's get on with the rest of the video. All right, so we've been in Ibiza, I'd say, good 6, actually exactly 7 days. We arrived on Tuesday. This is my first time breaking out the big camera because, in the words of Saint Joey D, can't vlog in Ibiza when you're too fucked up. So last night we stayed in, had a good sleep, I just went for a nice dinner, no drinks, and today we're going to a place called Formentera. It's meant to be absolutely Beautiful. And I, even though I'm definitely not a veteran at this stage, I think I would call myself a veteran.

Yeah, at least 10 times. So once you go over 10 times, you call yourself a veteran. And I've never been to Formentera, so we're really excited for today. We've got the crew here, we've got Big Mikey P, we got Darren Rigatoni over here. Darren Reg is over here.

And it's even going through some stressful stuff in my personal life recently, the last month. So I'm very happy to be out here. I think you should not be happy when you're here. Like, literally, look at it, it's insane. So the next week or so, I'm still gonna try to get some uploads, get some work done, uh, but I'm really gonna try and enjoy myself. So we found this place that was right next to the spot we were chilling at on the beach. It looks absolutely beautiful, real like authentic Spanish. So This is definitely one of the nicest parts of Agripa we've ever gone to. I can't believe you haven't been here before. I know, it's crazy. It's crazy. Yeah, we'll show you the food when it arrives. So all the lads are off taking photos, but the joke is on them because the bread and the olives just arrived. So it's probably time for me. All right, boys and girls, so this is my lunch and it's the first thing I've eaten today because we've been on the go all day. So that's like extreme fasting. But so yeah, we got some grilled tuna fish, lemon, veggies, baked potato, and the lads' food. I just got a lack of chips tonight. Fish head, you're gonna eat it?

So we got like tuna, sushi rice, sriracha mayo, avocado, tomato, carrot, everything. Looks unreal. And lads, give that look there as well.

I think it's the aircon, to be honest. It is my last day in Wikiwoo, so I was always meant to check out today, but I was meant to stay a little bit longer for Mike's birthday. What I'm going to do is move up to Playa de Mombasa. I found a really good deal in the hotel, and I'm going to stay there till Monday just because it's Mike's birthday this weekend, and today is like Wednesday, and I'm not going to go out until the weekend. I'm going to get some work done and a few projects. Let's see what the what the new hotel's like. Let's pack up here, let's eat some good food, and have a nice chill day. Right, so we have a lot of sorting to do, a lot of shit I don't need. Like, look, this hotel's still— so let's sort out and pack up. Time to finally leave my family here at Wikiwoo. As you can see, it's They're all very happy to see me leave. But so this hotel, crazy, right? You come in and it's the front there, and in the evening people are always drinking and having cocktails and having fun, so it's very hard to not get pulled into that. And then this is even cooler, it's got a secret bar at the back, and you open it up, it looks like a cupboard, okay? It's the wigglyware room. And then this is where the shit It goes down. Well, anyways, look, I had the best day ever. The staff made it for me, but now I'm gonna boss it a bit more for quiet time. You're saying our goodbyes? We're saying our goodbyes. See you guys. It was really good price and it's so close to Mike and Louie, and that is the main thing over the coming days really, is because we've got a lot of content to catch up on. I don't like going out or celebrating or traveling or going on holidays without earning it. I have a bad problem with feeling guilty constantly, like all the time. I need to feel like I deserve it. So, you know, that's it. So we're gonna work hard over the next couple of days. So this is the hotel. I need to unpack a little bit. Got my Alphalete bag, of course, best backpack I've ever used. The plan for today is Mike and Louie are finishing a video, I'm gonna go eat, then we're all gonna go to the gym together, Nirvana Beach Gym, around 5, and then just go out and have a chilled one, maybe do some do some editing. Like, that was— that 2 weeks seemed like 1 week at most. It's crazy. So I'm having another little, uh, day to myself, a leisurely stroll. And so this is Bossa, which is usually the more crazy part of the island where all the clubs are. So for example, here's Hi, and that's Ushuaia over there, and then Hard Rock Hotel, which is an amazing place to stay. It's pricey, but it's so good, especially like where it is. It's nice and it's right in the middle of everything too, so you kind of get like the best of both worlds. So it's so crazy today to see it just like this, all boarded up completely. It looks like a prison now. And look, out there is like the smoking area, and there's these little like teepee huts. They're after like a DJ plays, everyone will just like go sit in these huts. I've been weird in those huts with Joey D before. Weird in a good way. I'm also looking around for somewhere to eat and there's nowhere to be found. So San Antonio, if you are going this year, you want something a bit more lively, definitely go there. But, um, the next few days I actually want to avoid temptation, chill out a little bit as I just saying. So I know the gym's open, so hopefully, uh, when I'm done my walk, I'll find a bit of food. That's a better look at the teepees. Strange, strange, strange teepees, right? So we found a classic that is always open, and that is Steak 'n Shake in Bossa. I'm not surprised this is the only place that's open. It's not the healthiest option, but it is absolutely delicious. This. So let's see what's on the menu. I was so excited to eat that that I forgot to even video it when it arrived. I took a picture but I forgot to eat it. That's how hungry I am. Yeah, I've got a good clean pre-workout fuel. Awesome. So we just— this is my starter, it's an octopus and green salad. Looks great, tastes great. And then we also ordered every sushi roll off the menu, so that should be a great way to finish the vlog. But that's good because I want to see more parts of Ibiza. I haven't even checked the bathroom yet. It's all just like newly built as well, so everything is really modern. There's me, still alive. So we've got that booked for Sunday, and then a huge yacht booked for Monday. So there are two big days, so I guess we gotta document the process. So like I said, tonight was a chilled one. We all just went for dinner in the old town to this amazing tapas place just below the castle. We also now have Marijn and Stan the Man join the crew as well. Two great signings fresh out of Amsterdam. And the most wild thing about tonight was Louis and Darren jumping over objects in the car park. This scene was like something out of The Inbetweeners. It doesn't matter how old you get, men will always want to jump over random objects after drinking. Apparently it's one of the many reasons why women tend to live longer. On a more serious note, we had a great time catching up, a really nice evening, a chilled one. And we also enjoyed some amazing food before two big days ahead. Let's get into it. All right, people, today is the day. It is Sunday. It's the day of Mike Chesterson's actual 30th birthday. So we had a few beers last night at midnight. It was just chilling. But today and tomorrow, things are just— it's going to be the one day, like, things are just going to blend in. And so now, uh, I'm just having Red Bull Zero. But so now we're going to go down to Nassau Beach Club. Mike's already there, he's holding on to a bed for us.

Like, I went to see a show in the actual Moulin Rouge earlier on the year and it's amazing. You sit down, you bottle of champagne nice meal and just watch some like crazy entertainment. There's a show on tonight, Sunday evening, can't beat it. So a little bit of mowing way here. First Commando's nice little table here where you usually have dinner and stuff. And really nice, we got, we got a good healthy salad there. This is the office here, and then we got a huge living room and also this really cool bedroom in here. It's really cool a little bathroom in here. Oh wow. So yeah, we got some art in there.

Yeah, it's got a massive TV there as well. Pop up here, you'll quickly see that's where the captain drives the ship. Then down here, I think personally, I think this is the coolest part. He's probably like, he doesn't want to see anymore. And so in here you got a walk-in wardrobe. The ship goes down, you got these bad boys as well. Safety first.

We're gonna pick some more people up in Catacombs at about 2 PM. Right now we just kind of want to enjoy it to ourselves for a little bit and have some bro time. God, we prayed. We prayed to the Most High. There was a guy who we met last year in October for the closing parties, and he actually invited us to one of his yacht parties which he was throwing. And he's literally one of the soundest, most generous, nicest guys ever. We still kept in touch, and I just— I asked him, uh, how much would it be to charter the yacht for the day, which would be ridiculously expensive, and he gifted it for the day to me for my 30th. So, uh, You know, we're all gonna have a good time tonight.

let's go! Guys, so the first stop is Cala Comte. Let's get a little view of that. Absolutely insane. And this is the beach that we were at the other day. So what we're gonna do is that little small boat on the back, we're gonna go pick up a few friends who we're meeting here. Small boat's gonna go out, get them, bring them here, and, uh, the crew is gonna grow a little bit. It's so insane just pulling up here on this thing. The first vlog, I made it like a drone shot. We were on the beach, you see all these boats, and now we're actually on one of these boats. It's crazy. We actually didn't know we had this boat a few days ago, so it's crazy. But yeah, so let's go. And that, my friends, is all we have time for. I appreciate it massively, anyone who made it this far into the vlog, as I know it's going to be a long one. Ibiza was interesting this year, to say the least. Different to other years, but either way, we made the best of it, as we always do. I hope you enjoyed the video. It's been a strange year full of ups and plenty of downs, but this was without a doubt one of the better times of the year. And I know I'll look back on this video and laugh to myself and think of fond memories.
