Hello, good morning. It's Tuesday. So I'm in a big rush. I gotta run. I gotta take a phone call first, but that's gonna be done in the car on the fly. And then I gotta go to JD Sports, and then I have a meeting in Raw Gym, all before 11 AM. So let's do it. Take you around my day. Let's go. Let's begin the vlog. Okay, wait, before that though, this is what I usually have for breakfast when I'm in a big rush. Just a protein bar. And double espresso. Basic. Okay, so we are here in Dundrum Town Centre, and I'm about to go into JD Sports because they got in touch with me. They're like, "Rob, your vlogs are so damn good, why don't you come into the shop, pick a new outfit, and pick a new pair of runners?" There's nothing more than fitness people like than a new pair of Nikes. Okay, so we're gonna go head in now and see what we can find. We are done in JD Sports. There is some stuff I got. I'll go through it later. Right now we're late for the meeting in Raw Gym Salford, so we're gonna get there. I'm expecting for it to go on about an hour and then we're gonna hit a session afterwards. So that is all done. That was about the academy that is starting this weekend. So now I am gonna go in and hit a gym session, and that is what I love about having an office in the gym. So just a quick one before I go in, get my workout done. So this is the timetable for the upcoming course. Now obviously we've got people that are approved by the Register of Exercise Professionals to be teaching the course because, you know, you have to be fully qualified teacher. But I am doing kind of a guest lecture, Rob Lipsett fitness industry story, and I'm gonna go into a Q&A and gonna go into more marketing and business as well. So that is on this Sunday, so I'm really excited for that. I'll also just be popping into the classrooms like here and there just because I want to. Uh, but yeah, so that's something I'm preparing for this Saturday and Sunday as well in Raw Portobello and Raw Sandiford. So gonna be a long day, but it's gonna be a fun day because I love public speaking and I like doing it regularly because you gotta keep yourself sharp. That's how you get good at something, you do more often. Okay, right, gym time. Please choose the desired product. Please pass your credit card. There we go. Yes! Yo yo, what is up everybody? I hope you're all just smashing your goals, and being sick people in general. If you're liking the videos, give them a thumbs up. That's all I ask. Anywho, wasn't the best day in the gym today, as I'll explain later in the video, but overall the week has been going really good, and it is an amazing feeling to be back in some kind of routine. Strength is coming back. I'm feeling and looking a little bit leaner, and it's hard to explain, but I'm kind of just looking a bit fuller or something, like I need to get some glycogen into my muscle, get my pump on, or some bro science like that. You know the feeling when you just haven't lifted for a while and you just feel a little bit flat. So today I hit legs and abs, and I'll be honest, this is the day I find most strenuous, and it is the day I least like recording, as on these days I just like to focus on the lifts instead of getting the right angle or setting up a camera. Once I was actually going for a personal best, and I had my camera propped up on a machine, and mid-lift I could just see in the mirror my camera falling over. It was the equivalent of of going really fast on a motorbike and then you notice a spider in your helmet. So yeah, I didn't record my whole workout, but I will put it on the screen now. I hope you guys are enjoying the video and I'll see you in the next clip. Oh man, oh boy, that was a rough, rough session. I didn't get the best sleep last night and I find outside of the obvious things like diet and training, I think the two biggest factors that influence my training are sleep and hydration. Something that some people might not think about. So especially in the morning when you wake up, always like, neck a liter of water or something. Okay, now I am going to go treat myself to my favorite salad post-workout and then relax for a little bit. I just saw Marijn, he posted a picture, um, and he was like, one week till Vegas, and he is looking shredded. So I'm just like Oh, motivated! It's good to have friends that push you to be better. Uh, surround yourself with the right people. I say that in every fucking video. All right, so I'm gonna get something to eat. It is 1 PM, so all the offices in the area are cramming in for lunch. I can see the queue from here. It'll be worth it. Did you ever get a craving for a salad? I know that's something not many people say. All right, the salad I got is a lot of goodness. All right, it's like beetroot feta cheese, sweet potato, tomato, mixed house salad, onions, peppers, chicken breast, right? That's a lot of goodness. And then when I was in Manchester with Joe, he got me into these things. They're kind of weird, Pepsi Max Ginger, but I'm into them. So alright, I'm going to eat this now and then we'll have a bit of a chat and go through the clothes that I got on JD. Almost forgot, the French's Classic Yellow Mustard. This is like so low in calories, so really macro-friendly. And I put this on like pretty much all my meals. Okay, it is protein shake time. I usually have about like one protein shake a day. I don't really worry about like what time I have it at. I used to— one of the biggest like myths that I used to believe were true is like protein shakes are like magic at certain times. Like I used to like sprint to the training, the changing rooms post-workout to try and get a shake in, or I used to sleep with a shake beside my bed. Because I thought I needed those quick-digesting protons the second I woke up. It's not true. Just make life easier on yourself and worry about your total daily intake, okay? Um, yeah, protein timing does kind of come in things for Dandelion, but there's just so much more important stuff. But anyways, I am gonna have hazelnut milk and then chocolate nut whey protein, so they will go well with each other. And look at this poverty blender, okay? I'm using a jug and a hand blender, okay? The struggle is real. But, uh, I put on Twitter any recommendations for a new blender because my other one exploded. It's like leaking. Everyone was saying Vitamix. Is it worth it? Please comment down below with blender recommendations because I do like a shake every single day, so I probably should get a good blender. To be fair, that actually worked quite well. Okay, okay, let's do a little bit of mail time. So first up, we have something from Audi Ireland here. Audi Ireland invite you and a guest to see the first feature exclusive all-new A8 preview event. Then, Rob, you've been chosen to answer the call-up. 3 Ireland wants to kit you out in the new Ireland jersey to support the boys in green. Love it! And then I'm gonna sit down and open these for you. So this was actually quite hard to choose some stuff because obviously I have so much gym gear as is, and I wanted to get something different. Like, for example, these Alphalete bottoms I wear. I didn't want to go in and just get a pair of black tracksuit bottoms. So anyway, starting off with the shoes, that's what I was kind of most excited about. I've never had a pair of Jordans, so cannot go wrong with these bad boys. I basically have so much pairs of white runners, so I wanted a pair of shoes that I've never gotten before. And that also look good in jeans and tracksuit bottoms. So I tried these on, fell in love with them. I was gonna get a pair of cream Adidas runners, but I just went for them instead. I've had so many Adidas shoes. This I thought was kind of different, okay, mainly because of the zipper. So it's Nike and it's got a kind of 3/4 length zipper there. I tried it on in the shop, I really liked it. And it's also got this little thing around the hood as well, which I thought was cool. They told me to just get a t-shirt as well, so I just got the matching t-shirt to that. And then I thought these bottoms were kind of different as well. That is what I got in JD today. Thank you so much, guys, and hopefully we will do some more of that in the future. I'm gonna head off now onto the road, just do some errands, meet some friends as well. And also, that kind of what products I use on my face and hair and everything, that is coming this week. Oh boy, I'm feeling this outfit. This is gonna be like my cardio walking outfit for later on. It's strange that I also kind of like this Ireland jersey. I think it's kind of retro or something. Gotta support the home team. Alright, homies and homies, shout out to Chris Jones. He's making some, some great videos at the moment. He's just like doing his thing. He left a funny comment on my last video too. But so at around like 8 PM, I tried to like switch off from all social media, get all my posts done, get all my work done. And like, social media is work for me. And relax and like cook a meal and maybe like, I don't know, watch a movie or something. I used to say, or like I still do say, that if you are complaining about not having enough time in the day and you're trying to like maybe get like a business off the ground in your spare time, then you shouldn't be playing video games and watching TV series. But if you're on top of your stuff, you got your priorities in check, then you can enjoy some TV. But, um, so I'm making up some dinner here now anyways. Decided I would chat to you guys while I'm doing it. I'm making steak and green beans. I'm trying to lower my carbs leading up to Vegas, which is in 8 days, just to create some leeway. How good does that steak look? Put that in the microwave. Yo, I told you guys, right? For the next week or so, or 8 days or whatever, This channel is going to be me lifting and eating, okay? So come back in 8 days if you want to see me run around the desert being a bad man. But until then, we're living the clean life, okay? So yeah, steak and green beans for dinner. Um, I love it once you season it right. So I always use black pepper and this stuff. It's like chicken and steak seasoning. Onion, garlic, chili, and coriander. Another thing that I feel like I should talk about on this channel is the death of Rich Piana. It happened when I was in Vegas for the McGregor fight last week, so like I didn't really get to like think about it or didn't like register with me properly. Then like, Rich has been on this channel before, like we've done a video together. Like, he's spoken to the camera. When I was in LA, I met him in a gym, and like, he was such a gent. Like, he was so nice, and he was like funny and like articulate and well-spoken. And like, it was just shocking when I heard that he passed away. And like, I think it was a real loss to the industry, and he was genuinely an icon. And it's like, I met him in person, and like, I got a good vibe off him. And like all the crazy shit that he says on camera, like oftentimes he's just fooling around with that. So I was really sad to hear of his passing. And, uh, you know, just live every day as if it's your last. You don't know when you're gonna go. And yeah, rest in peace Rich Piana. It absolutely sucks. And I think it hit home with a lot of people, and it kind of like affected you more than you think, because it's like you watch someone on YouTube and you really get to know them because it's just them talking to the camera in the kitchen. So yeah, that's my thoughts on it. Absolutely sucks and RIP. Man, look at that, looks ready to eat out of the pan. Alright, I'm gonna turn the heat off now, let it settle for a little bit, and then serve it out. So tomorrow we have a really early flight to London. I've got to go to London for the day. I fly out like 7 AM and I get home at like 9 PM. It's a really big meeting that I have to go all the way to London for. And if it goes well, it'll be super cool, and hopefully I'll be able to tell you about it really soon. I should be able to tell you about it like after the meeting. Anyways, thanks so much for watching. See you in the next one. Peace. So quick one, I'm gonna finish up this vlog here. We are in London, as you can see. Hello! Yes! Hey, what's up? Hey, there you are! Awesome, the LF Army is everywhere! So yeah, we're gonna finish up this vlog here. The meeting went super so well. Um, I'm doing a book with Penguin, one of the best publishers in the world. So it was a quick meeting, fly over, do it, and then I walked around, just like got some Whole Foods, hit the gym, and now I'm heading back to Dublin. So I think this is a good time to finish the vlog. We're actually in Piccadilly Circus right now. It's a very cool place. Thank you for watching, see you in the next one. Keep it real.
