Yo, what's up everyone? Welcome to today's vlog. Now this is gonna be just a usual day in the life, probably gonna go train a little bit, show you guys what I eat. But the videographer that I'm working with today, Louis, what's up? He is a Love Island addict, okay? And I think it's a good time of the year to talk about this, you know, have a bit of fun with it, because exactly this time last year I did a video that I'm gonna link below called My Experience on Love Island, okay? And now believe it or not, I was actually on the show for about 2 minutes. So I went in as one of the Casé Amore people last year, okay? And you probably didn't see much of me at all whatsoever, and we're gonna talk about that today, and we're gonna do a little bit of a Q&A. So give the video a thumbs up. If you're new here, be sure to subscribe. I won't let you down. Let's get into it. Alright, so Louie has came up with a list of questions, and I'm gonna answer them. I've hardly looked at these as well, by the way, so this is just coming from the heart. Okay, so one of my favorite books is 48 Laws of Power, and one of the laws is timing is everything. Timing is very important. So when you come out that villa, okay, it's going to be all eyes on you. You're going to be a hot topic pretty much, okay? And this is when you need to set up that business you've always wanted to set up. This is when you need to start that YouTube channel. This is when you need to start banging out that content. And a lot of times, you know, The people that come out of Love Island, they don't realize this, and they kind of, you know, they go party, they go have fun, which is all well and good, do that, but they don't, you know, put in place those, those business and those little projects that are going to really help them in the long term. So thankfully, um, I owned, still own, a couple of businesses before I went in, so I was really sure to kind of, you know, milk that when I came off the island. Definitely, I would say to look past them. So, I've been on YouTube over 3 years now. I've pretty much grown up online. So I'm so used to online criticism, and it's honestly made me into the person I am today. It has made me bulletproof. I take nothing personal. I don't take offense to anything I read online. And that's made me stone cold, to be honest, like, you know? First of all, don't mind them, okay? They're people taking time out of their day to give you their energy. To give you their time and energy. So like, that should really say something there, that you're going, having all this fun, and they're like, you know, sitting— oh, killer! Think about this, okay? They're taking time and energy out of their day and putting it into you, okay? That should really say it all. And if you are one of those people that are commenting things online and, you know, saying horrible negative things, I really do suggest you to take a step back and maybe put that time and energy into some projects or some goals that you've always wanted to achieve. So to answer your question, don't mind the online hate. Maybe they're just not happy with where they're currently at, and just look past it and even use it to fuel you, push you even harder, and, you know, keep going and chase your dreams, bro. Okay, okay, all right, this, this is a good one, and I think this goes hand in hand with the whole social media thing. The answer is yes, okay? And I think the reason is that because it's like Okay, it's like if people see you've got like a big following or they've seen you on TV, they know you're not an axe murderer who's gonna kill them. So, you know, they kind of have more trust in you. You know, they see what you're like already. They kind of know your personality. So in that way, I guess, yeah, it does help and it shows you're confident as well. We all know confidence is pretty much it when it comes to getting girls. So yeah, absolutely. If you're confident enough to go on an island and try pick up chicks in front of millions of viewers, or, you know, start a YouTube channel like this and put videos of yourself online, you're probably a pretty confident guy or girl. So yeah, it is easier. Absolutely. So it's just so important to keep that engagement going. Okay. And this sounds like really simple and like, it sounds a bit ridiculous, Do cool shit. Literally give back, you know, make informative videos. I've put out over 350 videos teaching people about training, nutrition. I've spoken in numerous colleges. I put all those talks online, you know, about self-improvement, everything. I give back, okay? I give out all this content, and that is what is going to keep people interested in you. You know, I travel around, I show people that. I provide a beneficial service pretty much, and I keep things engaging, put in a lot of efforts with, you know, my photographs and Just, you know, do cool shit. So a lot of time people will just, you know, they come off the show and they'll just go out loads. And, you know, maybe they'll just post the same pic in their living room of like, "Hey, wearing this tonight, use my discount code, okay?" People want to see you win. People want to see you progress in life. So that's my advice. Don't get complacent. I always say to myself, you know, be happy where you're at, but the wolf at the back of the pack is the hungriest. Okay, it's like we all know the teeth whitening, the skinny teeth ads, okay? We see it so much, okay? There's even like viral tweets about it. It's like, yep, you know, you've done Love Island now, here's my teeth whitening code. Okay, integrity is everything when you're working with brands. I can proudly say I've never ever ever worked with a brand that I do not use myself and I do not believe in, okay? It is not worth it, okay? I'm all about playing the long game, not the short game. So I'll give a recent example, right? So this random testosterone booster company came and contacted me and they're like, Rob, we'll give you like 5 grand for like an Instagram post and a story, okay? I looked at the ingredients, it's a bunch of herbs, there's no scientific evidence backing it, okay? I would be lying to my followers if I promoted that. Would I like the couple of grand in the short term? Yes. Do I want to sacrifice the long-term trust that I have with the community I've built online? Absolutely not. It's not worth it. So for example, I've just wrote a book and that'll be coming out very soon, couple of months. So imagine if I was always lying to my followers, I was always promoting this crap. When I come out with my book, no one would believe me, no one would want to buy it from me because I haven't built up that trust. So play the long game and keep your integrity. Yeah, absolutely. So the reason I got like little to no airtime is because again, I had a reputation to keep, so I really didn't want to go on the show and start talking shit about everyone and, you know, create loads of drama. So I was very standoffish, but I did talk to everyone. You know, I'm a very social guy. Gabby, actually, who was on the show with me last year, she spoke about me in a recent article, list down below, about what I was like on the show. But so yeah, there's a fine balance that you need to strike between getting out there but not being a complete dick, okay? So if you can just strike that little chord, then I think you'll do great and you'll make an impact. Personally, you know, it went, it went really well for me, like in terms of I had a great experience. I know I was only on a couple days, but I still— my following on Instagram and YouTube went up like 100,000 in that week. And so again, that's a new audience that will help with my business and everything. So honestly, it was a great experience. And I could have— if I got really controversial, I could have ruined everything, you know. I could have really tarnish, you know, the gyms, the book, the app, everything. So I personally wouldn't have changed anything. Of course, it would have been great if the show kind of featured my personality and what I'm like a little bit more, but, you know, the viewers don't want to see that. They want to see drama, they want to see hookups and stuff like that. So yeah, actually, would have been great if I pulled a bird. What would you do differently? Pull a bird. Final question. Yeah. I think it is a very good idea, and a few of them did it, they gave it a shot, but they didn't kind of like stick with it, okay? And it's like, you're used to being on TV, you're good at being on camera, okay? This is like a really good time to shine. Like, a lot of companies come and contact me and they're like, "Oh, we want you to become a presenter because we see you speaking to the camera the whole time." So it's gonna lead to so many new open doors. So I really do recommend it, or at least talk to your Instagram story, you know, be, be really personal with your followers because that is what's going to build up a connection and that's what's going to build up that community. So again, video is powerful when you look the camera in the eye and, you know, you give people what you're really like. And, you know, it's an amazing thing because a picture can only say so much, but a video is essentially 120 pictures per second, right? Depends what setting you're shooting in. Camera nerd. So yeah, I think, uh, I think starting up a YouTube channel is a definite yes, and you should do it like as soon as possible once you finish. So this video is probably going to get a lot of, you know, different viewers that aren't subscribed to me already. So stick around if you want to see what I get up to in a day, what I'm like. There's currently a heat wave in Dublin, Ireland, where I'm from. I think I'm like sweating a little bit. So we're gonna go for like a swim and just have a nice day in general. So subscribe, give it a like, let's go! Okay, so we're going swimming afterwards. So you gotta pick some swim trunks, man. I'm rocking these vibey things today. I think this is a right bit of you. Yeah, I think, I think those are the ones. Leopard skin. So gym gear, swimming shorts, towels, towels. Okay, come on in. You got a little house tour as well. Best place in the world, fact. Like, I'm just back from LA, Texas, Miami, and like, I swear to God, like, like, I'm having the best times here, you know. I'm definitely like, I travel a lot, travel every month, but home is where the heart is.
All right, so we are about to go into Roger's James Academy, which I am an owner of.
It's a personal trainer academy, and we teach people out of the gym. So you can see the gym there. And so there's one of these in Sandiford and then one in the city center, and this is where I also train as well. So I'm going to go into the office, just, you know, make sure things are ticking over all right, and we're going to go lift some weights. It's going to be a good time. So all right, let's get it. What's going on, guys? How are you? What's up? Sorry, didn't get to chat to you guys. Sorry.
Yeah, thank you.
Oh, good night. Good night. Oh yeah, yeah, it was so much fun. Yeah, but like, honestly, I'm delighted to be back, straight back to work. And yeah, and so I've got that lecture tomorrow at 4:30. 4:30, yeah. Promise I'll be there. Okay, so that's the Personal Trainer Academy side of things. And so we've got like, you know, strength and conditioning coaches, nutritionists do all those lectures, and then I actually come in and do the marketing side of things because marketing is where my passion lies. Okay, so I talk to students about how to grow as a personal trainer, market yourself as a brand, which I think is very valuable and other personal trainer academies don't offer that, alright? So it's a lot of fun as well, and public speaking, I love it too. So, alright, now some lift, finally.
Go, baby, go! Just want it. You got it. So go, baby, go! Just want it.
What are we doing here? We're spotting some members of the gym because we a goddamn family here at Raw, okay? That's it, brother, you fucking got it. All right, people, so workout done. Uh, what just went on there was push day. The split I run is legs, push, pull, legs, push, pull, rest. So when I'm home and I'm not traveling and I'm really concentrating on my training, I usually hit the gym 6 times a week, sometimes 5 times, but usually 6. And so that was push day there with a chest focus. The other push day is usually focused on delts. But so there we did some flat dumbbell press We did some incline press, we did some shoulder machine press, then we went on to isolation work. So that was lateral raises, chest flies, and then we hit the triceps at the end. So it's like one of my favorite workouts to do. I always feel amazing afterwards. Now to make today even better, right, we're going for a swim in the sea and then we're getting some food afterwards. Okay, we're gonna do food first and then we're like, don't look bloated for the insta pics. That's how we decide what goes on in the day. Right, let's go swimming. And we're also going to take the drone out as well, so give you guys some good content. Almost forgot, if you want to get on my training plans, my online coaching, the link is in the description box. Go down there, hit it up, it'll tell you what to do. And yeah, I'd love to get started with you. So now we're about to go swimming and let's have some fun. Getting those angles, man. That was creative. That was creative. Best city in the world. That is insane.
Check it.
Oh my God, that is breathtaking. There's no one even here.
How? What are you doing? Just having a little cycle.
We're just getting some photos and, uh, flying the drone up, just getting some sights. Yeah, it's like a drone, it's like a camera. No, no, no, no, uh, it's in here. Eyes up in the air and you can like take videos and photos.
Yeah, um, why, why are you doing all of that?
Uh, I've got like a YouTube channel, so that's like, we just try to do cool stuff.
Okay, are we going to be honest? We hang around.
Yeah, you are. That's it. Yeah, say hello to everyone.
You don't have my permission.
Okay, cut it, cut it, cut it. That's it, cut it. Be in the vlog. Yeah, yeah, join me in the vlog.
Why not?
There you go, man of people. Yeah, you're in it, boys. What's your name? Uh, Shane. Callum. Good to meet you, lads. All right, man, give us your best cannonball. All right, ready? Yeah, let's go.
Oh, it's freezing.
It is not cold. It's not cold at all. You're just being a pussy, bro. So we went for a swim, it was absolutely amazing. And just like the buzz here when the sun's out, like, oh man, just makes me feel like a patriot. Like seriously, I love my country. Like look at that, like look at everyone's just in such a good mood, everyone's enjoying themselves. And so now to finish off this perfect day, we're gonna go get some food at a place that I've never been before. I know the owners, but I've never tried it out. It's called the Happy Pear. Hopefully it won't be too busy, but, uh, we'll see what we can do. All right, so we made it to Greystones, which is such a beautiful village, and I've not been here for so long. And so this is my first time trying out this place. Like I said, I know the owners, it's meant to be amazing, and I'm absolutely starving, so let's go ahead and get after it. Are you okay with nuts and kimchi on the second one as well? So we got an epic feed in front of us here, and I'm not vegan, but like vegan food is tasty, right? Let's be real. And so the type of diet that I follow is called like flexible dieting. So that basically means, you know, you eat something you really enjoy every single day. So that's going to allow you to be, you know, sustain your plan and it's going to improve your adherence. So I don't— I'm not even going to run you through this because there's so much different types of food. But it looks amazing, so we're going to turn off the camera and dig in. Can I get vanilla?
Yeah, what size?
Um, I'll just get a small one. Oh yeah, you can be in the vlog if you want. You want to be in the vlog? Yeah, do you want to be in the vlog?
Of course.
Yeah, this guy wants to be in the vlog. Yes, say hello to the vlog, everyone. Hello! Friendliest people in the world in Dublin. Come visit. This makes— it's like, it's like you versus the guy she told you not to worry about. Come on, man, completely outdone you. Alright everyone, so that's the end of the vlog. Hope you enjoyed it. I gotta freshen up a little bit. I'm about to go to a friend's party. She's going away to Australia for a long time, so looking forward to that. But so I hope you enjoyed the vlog, right? And if you take anything from this, okay, when an opportunity presents itself to you, you got to make the most out of it. You got to capitalize on it, and you got to make the best out of a bad situation. So for example, You know, I went on Love Island and I was on the thing for 30 seconds or whatever, okay? But I still capitalized on that to the best of my ability. Things— it really worked well. Like, things are going amazing. Like, I hate to brag and I hate to be like, oh, my life's so good, but it kind of is, to be honest, you know? So grateful for all the opportunities that I've been presented with them. So with that said, I want you to go out, kill it. If you want to see more of my life, join in on the adventures. Subscribe. Until next time, keep it real. I'm outta here.
