Alright people, so coming up to half past 7 and now we are going to SPG Thala to do some MMA. So I've recently been doing Brazilian jiu-jitsu and I think I'm gonna jump into a kickboxing class now. So let's go in and kick and punch some stuff and see how we get on. Alright, another thing, okay, sometimes it's the end of the day, it's dark out, you just want to lie on the couch, chill out, eat some food and go to sleep, okay? But I'm I'm all about doing what you don't want to do, and that is what's gonna make you progress, what's gonna make you a better person. So right now, I don't really want to do this, but I'm going to do this. I'm gonna enjoy every minute of it. Another thing I want to talk about is people go, Rob, why are you starting MMA? Okay, and many reasons, but main reason is trying something new. Okay, when is the last time you've actually tried something new? We all love routine. I even love routine, but sometimes you just do need to break your routine and just try out something new. Be it go to a new place, try a new sport, a new hobby, even try new food. Honestly, you'll be a better person if you try new things. Let's go give it our best. Hey, what's up? How are you? Well, good to see you. Of course. You're doing the jiu-jitsu, is it? Uh, I'm either going to do jiu-jitsu or do kickboxing this time. Yeah, right. Yeah, well, James has kickboxing there. I'm doing airsoft, so that's why I was like, I was interested. Yes. How many have we got? 1, 2, 3, 4. Hot fire!
Bring it on, fellas! 20 seconds! That's it.
All right, going to finish up this video here. And oh man, I'm just feeling good. The endorphins are flowing. Like, it makes me realize how much I honestly love training. Like, it's literally, there's no better feeling when it's the end of the week and you just know you've pushed yourself, given it your all, and you just sit back and it's just an amazing feeling. So I hope you guys like the kind of new approach I'm doing, the new style of training. Hope you enjoyed the video. Be sure to give it a thumbs up and I'll see you guys in the next one. Keep it real. Shoutouts Alright, so handy little session done and it literally feels like summer today. It's an absolute roaster. Now I was meant to go off, do a couple errands. I even brought a change of clothes, but you know when the hunger just hits you? I'm really hungry, so I'm just going to quickly go home, get a meal in, and then we're going to go better. Alright, so I don't know if you can see that. Spaghetti and meatballs from NutriQuik. Been dying to try this, so I'm gonna put this in a bowl now, eat it, I'm gonna shower, I'm gonna head through my ride. When I'm in a rush, have these prep meals. Link in the description box as always, you know the drill. But, uh, yeah, they're handy if you're ever like on the go, need to make a quick meal. All right, peeps, just heading out the door now. So we are doing the black Alphalete Hex t-shirt, we're doing the new gray Alphalete V3 joggers, we're doing the white Nike Prestos, we're doing Tay Roc watch is one more casual ones, keeping it cash. Now we are heading to Penny's, okay? You know I do brand deals on this channel, and this video is sponsored by Penny's, Primark as people in the UK might call it. And I'm so buzzing, right? Let me turn this camera around. I'm so buzzing because they've given me a voucher. They said go into Penny's, spend it on whatever you like, and then just show YouTube what you got. So I'm absolutely delighted because I love Penny's as is. So let's go in and, uh, pick up some stuff. Also gonna have one of these because I'm so healthy. Apples, beetroot, carrot, pomegranate, ginger, and lemon. I am going to be invincible, invincible after I drink this. Okay, so just here in Dundrum town center, I am about to go into Penny's. It is about 2 PM. I decided to come at this time So hopefully it won't be too busy. But right, so let's go in, pick out a couple things, and, uh, see what we get. So I will catch you guys in a minute. All right, people, so as I said, this video is sponsored by Primark, or as us Irish people call it, Penneys. And I think it's so awesome when brands that I use the whole time contact me to work with me. So over the next 3 months, I'm gonna be doing one of these hauls every single month and also posting some images on Instagram. So Looking forward to that. But so let's go through what I got. Two big bags. Thumbnail! So it is October and things get very cold in Ireland, especially around November, December, January. So I did get a lot of coats and jackets. On top of that, me, Joe Delaney, and Moraine, the three best friends, Eurovibes, we are thinking about doing a little ski trip. Going to like a ski festival or, you know, one of those kind of house festivals that are up on top of a mountain. So that I think would make for epic content, and I'm also going to need some gear for that as well. So that is kind of what I was thinking of when I was picking up everything, and also got some essentials too. So let's get into it. First thing I got are these invisible ankle socks I always wear, especially handy when you're in the gym and for some reason these always just disappear on me, so I got like 3 or 4 packs. I got this gray hoodie, um, I don't know if you can see this, it's like a mesh material. And by the way, everything I got is medium or large. And so I'd wear this with jeans or like a tracksuit bottom as well. I got the same hoodie again in navy. I got these jeans and they have a little bit of rips here, or as me and Max Tuning like to call them, fashion holes. But again, they're not overly ripped because overly ripped jeans, really ripped, really open around the knees, they're kind of more for summer. Another pair of light jeans, but again, these have no rips in them, so a little bit more formal. This is a plain long sleeve. I got this in large. It's got a kind of a scoop around the bottom and a mesh material. I think this is really cool for like around Christmas, keep you warm. Okay, so this jacket, when I saw it— did anyone ever watch the show Skins? Okay, that was one of my one of my favorite shows ever when I was like 15, 16, and there's a character in it called Cook, and he always wore a jacket that was exactly like this. So I— my eyes lit up when I saw that. Very excited to wear it. I got this jacket as well that's irreversible, so it can either be all black or camo. I think if you can pull off camo, it's cool, and that'll also be awesome for skiing if we do go. Another pack of ankle socks, and then we're on to bag number 2. So this is another like really thick, kind of feels waterproof jacket. It was €25 as well. It's got a fur hood on top of it and some zips on the arms. It fits really well and doesn't look too bulky. Portable charger because again, pennies sells everything. A denim jacket. It's kind of light. I was kind of like, I'm always like, I don't know if these even suit me, but it's €18. So I was kind of like, look, now would be the time to try it out. And it fitted and it's pretty good, but The tough thing is finding an outfit to kind of wear this with, so I'm thinking white t-shirt, black jeans. Another pair of ripped jeans, a bit more summery looking, and rips in the knees. They just fit really well, so I picked them up. And then, so when I do these kind of little homemade photo shoots or posts for Primark, I'm obviously going to have to wear a full Primark outfit. So I also got some shoes too. So again, a pair of Chucks, and then just some black shoes that I think would go well with jeans and tracksuit bottoms. A few more bits and pieces, just like chargers and earphones and car phone holders. And again, that was exactly €250 in Penneys. I keep calling Primark Penneys. Primark. Um, but yeah, so as you can see, I got like 4 or 5 different full outfits. So obviously Penneys is famous for its price. It's like a thing in Ireland when someone compliments you're wearing, you're like, I got them pennies for €2. So comment down below if you or a friend have ever said that to each other. It's like an Irish catchphrase. Anyways, uh, onwards with the day. Again, glad to be working with these guys, and I hope you enjoyed kind of the little fashion haul. And more lifestyle stuff like that coming soon as well, because I really enjoy doing it. Fitness is obviously the main part of this channel. I go to the gym 6 times a week, MMA 3 times, and then, you know, I walk, hike, everything, the other two times. So very active guy, but I do also do other stuff apart from train and eat. On with the day. All right, look at here is what is about to go down. It is the weekend and I told myself, I promised myself that I would stay in this weekend because on Monday and Tuesday I've got a talk in the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland. I'm going to try to record it for you guys as well. Again, like such a prestigious college, and then there's me giving a talk there, so I'm going to bring my A-game. And then I'm doing a talk in an office on the Tuesday. So I've got a big week ahead, got to be fresh. And again, I'm thinking about going to Houston for Halloween at the end of the month to hang out with the bros Christian and Max. So again, got a lot of stuff ahead of me, so taking the weekend off and just having some me time. Okay, so I want to stay in tonight, watch a documentary, and cook some food. So I decided I'm gonna make some homemade pizza. It's something I used to always do on this channel. I remember once I did like a full video on it, so I'm gonna try replicate that, okay? Uh, so the ingredients are— I just got like a load of vegetables, mushrooms, spinach, and peppers. Then I got some tomato puree and some crushed tomato passata. Protein cheese, gonna be the star of the show. Links for this in the description box. I love this stuff. And then some stone-baked pizza bases. I got this in Super Value. So let's see how we get on. I find cooking really relaxing, so I'm looking forward to this. Oh Lord, got a tricep! Okay, right, now I'm gonna start cooking. Alright people, finished product. Nailed it! I am so good at this staying in. So wrapping up this video here, I'll see you in the next one. So, uh, next ones will probably be me giving that talk, pretty informative, and lifting in there. I'm gonna eat this pizza. Goodbye.
