What's up everyone, welcome to today's video. So now we are on a train, as you can see, and the reason why is I'm going down the country to pick up my new car from the dealership. Now I wasn't driving my car down, then I was like, wait, how would I drive it back? Because, uh, you know, I'm not Superman, okay? So I'm gonna get the train down, I'm gonna pick up my car, and then I'm gonna drive home in my new car. And it's like a 2 to 3 hour drive, but I'm really looking forward to it because it's gonna be a new car. So yeah, I'll bring you guys along with me, can't wait to show you it. And here we go, full into life. I think we're nearly there. Okay, so we just arrived at Kiri's Renault and it is a perfect day to pick up a car. Let's get it sorted. So I've never been looking more forward to driving home for like 3 hours in my life. I'm gonna enjoy every minute of it and I'll chat to you guys later. Title of this one is my new car. Now I'm not gonna beat around the bush, I'm gonna run you through everything. Okay people, so the thing is behind me right there, but first I gotta tell you a little story behind it, okay? So I contacted Keery's dealership down in Cork, okay? And I go to them, yo, you got some nice cars, you got a nice fleet, let's work together, let's collaborate. So they said, okay, I like the sounds of it, we like your content, perfect, okay? And I'm not gonna lie, I went in, had a look, fell in love with the thing, okay? I was like, hold on a minute, blacked out Jeep, tinted windows, alloys, big wheels, LED lights, 2017 brand new compact but still a Jeep, sports body kit with a Bose finish on it. And like, when I say Bose, I mean like Bose the sound system and design company, not like, like a boss. Well, kind of like that as well. And then, okay, and then I had a look on the inside. I sat in it, I went into the interior, and I was just sold. I was like, this is such a sick ride. I'm so Top Gear right now. Maybe I I do that? Like, maybe I should like review cars or something. All right, we go in. Okay, so for you guys to see how nice this interior is, I'm gonna drive it out from the underground car park. So when I sat in this car, the first thing I noticed— okay, keep in mind I'm a YouTuber, right? So the lighting, I was just like, oh my God, it's got a completely see-through roof that you can also put back as well, but I'm definitely leaving it open because it just feels really nice. Leather bucket seats. Like I said, Bose interior looks absolutely stunning. So much space, plenty of room for activities. Leather steering wheel, dashboard is sick. It has got a complete sat nav and it's really good and accurate too. It's got all these little add-ons too. Global Score, Score Evolution, distance, right, fuel consumption. It even links up to your phone, so no more messing around with like those flimsy auxiliary cables. So you can have your Spotify playlist blaring whilst just not having to worry about it, and you can even control it from the dashboard. There's something about being in a Jeep as well that you feel like really high up. You're like king of the road. And on top of that It's like this big Jeep, but it's got electronic steering, so it is like so easy to drive. So that's it, Renault Kadjar 2017 sports body kit, Bose interior. I absolutely love it. I think it's hella cool, and I'm really happy with it. But so anyways, that's the review. I'm— it also locks itself when you walk away. Anyways, that's the review. Now I got a busy day ahead of me, so I'm gonna get on with it. Enjoy the video. Couple hours later, uh, still the same day, and I'm stressing out because basically I'm recording so much content these days that I don't have time to edit and upload it, so expect like a stream of videos coming your way. But right now, I got like a last-minute call to basically go on RTE on the Claire Byrne Show, so I've gotta go down to RTE Studios now, so back into the car we go. But there's one thing I just wanna quickly talk about before we go. Okay, so like this weekend, and today's Monday, has just been the best couple of days like ever. Like, I'm literally feeling high on life. Like, that business deal that went down really well, Wellfest went down a smash, uh, you know, new car was in the newspaper there yesterday. You know, everything's going great, you know, channel's growing loads and everything, right? But it's important to not get too caught up on these times when, you know, things are going really well, because everything is seasonal, everything goes in waves. So sometimes people, like, they feel so good and they're so happy with how things are going, and then when things start to slow down a little bit, they get like so depressed and so hard on themselves. So it's important to just enjoy the moment, go with the flow, and not get too hung up on when things are going great and when things are going not so great. So that's something that I always have to keep in mind with myself. Always stay grounded. So that's that little talk out of the way. Let's go to RT Studios now, live on TV, um, front of the nation, and see how I get on. The talk actually is about like social media and the pros and cons of it. So it's like me and, uh, I'm not sure who else is on it, uh, the exact names, but it's me and some other people, a few other people who are pro-social media, who think it's useful, they enjoy it and they use it. And then I think there's some people who are anti-social media and they think it's, you know, bad for us. You know, I'm just going to go in here with an open mind and not disrespect anyone, and I'm always eager to hear other people's opinions. So that's what I'm going to be like when I go on this show. Um, so that is what we're doing now. Let's go back into the Renault. I like saying that, Renault. It's like, yo, what up, Renault? What am I talking about? Let's get in the car. I might actually do like full talks in this car. Yeah, I'm feeling this lighting. Anyways, I'm late for RT. Let's go. Okay, so just arrived here in RT now. So yeah, I'm like on a panel discussion with a bunch of like psychologists and stuff. I'm like, how do I get into these situations? But so yeah, they're all gonna be like like going deep, and I'm just gonna be like, "Sir, dude." And also, I have to go in and get my makeup done as well. How lame is that? I'm like, "I don't need it." But, all right, let's see how we get on here. Anyone from Ireland right now will know how good the weather is. It has just been amazing. Best country in the world when it's sunny. Here we go. Oortje. I used to think that was the Eiffel Tower of Paris when I was younger. This is a very bright room indeed, isn't it? But who's doing my makeup? Right on. You take a shot of everything. Uh, I like pretty much vlog every day, so say hello to YouTube. Hello, what's going on everyone? So yeah, I vlog either every day or every second day, just kind of like what I'm doing. So wow, this is pretty cool, isn't it? Damn. So my entourage, aka my sisters, have arrived. Yeah, so we're just trying to make sense of this room. We're like, why is— we're like, why? We're like, Why is there a couch bed here? But yeah, so they came to watch the show tonight. So yeah, that makes me feel a lot less nervous and definitely gonna have some more fun. I'm about to go on. I've just been told that it's live and that hundreds of thousands of people all across the country tune in. So I'm like, hey, cool. But so let's see how I get on. And comment down below if you watch this.
Rob, you do this for a living. Do you think that there is an element of unfairness on the people who are looking at the images of you you're fit and healthy, or do you think that actually they should aspire to do what you're doing?
Well, you know, I think no one should be forced to do anything they're not into, but I think it's also very important to follow people that are giving out the right message. So what I always say is that people are giving me 10 minutes of their time to watch one of my YouTube videos, so it has to be mutually beneficial. After that video, I want to leave them feeling good and going away with information, motivation, inspiration, anything. So I think it needs to be mutually beneficial, and it's very important for influencers to be giving out good content that is actually going to improve people's lives.
Okay, so, and you—
Alright guys, so that wraps it all up. I'm done. So basically, like I said, I was discussing the kind of mentality behind people viewing, taking in social media and the pros and cons. And they kind of thought that I was going to argue against what the people on the opposing side would say. And I actually agreed with a lot of her points. I was like, yeah, take social media with a pinch of salt, you know, and have time where you like shut off from social media. Like, I'm about to go home, completely shut off now. Like, my life is on social media and I try like schedule time to just disconnect. And so like, it was just a really good discussion and it was nice and light-hearted as well. And I didn't embarrass myself on national live television, so that's always a massive close. Uh, so I'm gonna go home now, gonna wrap up this vlog here. I hope you enjoyed it. Hope you like the new car. Renaults are in, says me. Uh, see you in the next video. Keep it real. Peace.
