pulling the straps on either side. Breathe normally. Even though oxygen is flowing, the plastic bag may not inflate. Always put your own mask on first and then help others near you.
Your seat cushion may be used as a flotation device. Remove the lower cushion. Looks like we did a round trip to Ireland. There's all the big buildings.
Flight attendants prepare for arrival. Verify standby for all calls.
Just landed. Review of American Airlines: kept us supplied with plenty of snacks, these little tubs of ice cream. They had Finding Dory on the television.
Air hostesses were lovely.
And they even got us there like 25 minutes early. So American Airlines, thumbs up to you guys. Oh, says baggage claim. I've already seen the Baskin-Robbins and the Dunkin' Donuts. This is about to turn into a turbo bulk. This is about to turn into the dirtiest of all dirty bulks. I'm gonna try not let that happen. Hey, baggage claim, can I get 3 medium iced coffees please? Yes. Thank you very much. You too. Cheers. So just hitting up Dunkin' Donuts, getting 3 iced coffees, and one for me, one for Sarah, and also we met a friend on the plane, so getting her one as well. After you get off a long flight, it's kind of nice to get it like a refreshing cold drink, and the coffee gives you a bit of a kick up the ass. Oh, perfect, thank you. We're just waiting for the Uber. Sarah and her friend are over there. But, uh, yeah, so it's strange, like, I'm not in a hot country. Like, you go somewhere else and the weather is the same, but it's kind of nice, kind of refreshing. I have a feeling I'm gonna like New York. Look at that, there's a yellow cab there. It's like I'm in the movies. Oh yeah, there's the area. Here's our Uber driver. Sorted. Okay, so we just arrived in the Airbnb there, and when we came into the area, we were a bit like, uh, because our Uber driver was like, you staying here? And we're like, yeah, yeah. And he's like, "Okay, when you walk around, Joseph, act like you're broke so you don't get mugged." I was like, "Alright, man, sweet, thanks for the tip, got it." Then we got in, our Airbnb person is like really nice, showed us around, and like it's really clean and like it's a real nice place. So here, I'm gonna give you a quick tour. You come up the stairs in here, and then we got this kind of funky little secret passage And like, I'm legit like too wide to fit through. That's how you know I'm making gains. So here we go sideways. Then anyways, it's like a really nice kind of modern clean kitchen. Coffee maker, oats, cinnamon, all the usuals. Uh, Sarah is here as well, of course. Table, big TV. Kind of a coffee table. Here's one of the bedrooms. It's like— how do we do this— like a little kind of tiny Jackson here. That's kind of cool. You walk down here, there's another bathroom. I kind of like that wall. That wall's giving off a kind of New York vibe. It's like we're on a building site. While you're, you know, using. Then you come into this room here, sort of bedroom, and you got a big old pair of titties as well, big golden pair of titties. Wardrobe. And then there's like another double bedroom in there. So this is perfect, like perfect place to set up camp. We are the first to arrive, so we're kind of waiting on everyone else to get in. I can't wait to see everyone. It's like Amanda, Emily, loads of familiar faces. So we're gonna like unpack, get settled in, maybe make some oats. I don't know. Alright, 2 tubs of Ben Jerry's. They're obviously supporting my bulking goals. So the girls still have not arrived yet, so we're gonna venture out into Brooklyn and just pick up some basics for the shop. So we're just gonna like walk down the street, kind of have a look around the neighborhood. I saw a few nice delis, might get some nice food in there, some snack. I've been eating like protein bars all day, so like I wouldn't mind a proper bit of food. We'll see. But this neighborhood is quite nice. It's kind of cool, and it's really like autumny, like, you know, all the kind of brown leaves. I don't know, I like it. I'm just in a good mood because I'm excited because I'm in a new place. I was gonna go to the gym with the Guz and Shawley, but they're in Manhattan at the moment. We're in Brooklyn. We're moving to Manhattan in like 2-3 days, so like I'll see them then. But the gym they're going to is like an hour away. So I'm gonna leave it, probably hit the gym. I hopped on like Google Maps and there's some good gyms in the area, a few hardcore ones that I'd like to look up.
Oh, you can go by yourself, man, you can see everything. Now what kind of guy is that? I need a shop where a friend show me with it. Look, those are like— look at the horses.
Well, that was interesting. The nice man, the shop was talking about smoking crack and robbing people. You're not in the best part of Brooklyn, I don't think. Maybe he was just having a laugh, like maybe he was just telling a joke. Alright, so Amanda, Emily, Randy, Karen, they're all just about to arrive now. Haven't seen them in ages, and like, you know, we've gotten like just so good friends over the past couple of months, over the past summer, so like I'm genuinely excited. What's up, motherfuckers? Come on in. Yeah, I know. Welcome to— this is like Ireland. Really?
Okay.
Yeah. Oh yeah, this is like— yeah, this is like—
yeah, I'm like, this is warm.
I'm like wearing a t-shirt. All right, so we're getting some pizza. We are all very hungry and tired, so pizza is gonna save the day. I think this is like the food district or something because there are some really cool restaurants right here. But we're trying to have Benny's Pizza. Oh, okay, making sure we're not like skipping it. Oh my God, it's like an authentic New York pizza. The options—
probably Rob could eat the whole thing.
Yeah, right. Um, all right, so I think I'm going to do like— did you ever watch the Food Network? And it's like Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. I think I'm going to do that when I'm in New York. I'm going to be like that guy with the blonde hair. I'm just going to like test food. Alright, so I have not slept in a long time, so I'm gonna recharge the batteries. Everyone's kind of getting their work done on their laptop. Randy is making us tea. What a great roommate. So I'm gonna pick up this vlog tomorrow, first full day in New York.
