What's going on, everyone? Welcome to today's video. Now, my pancake recipe has changed a lot over the course of years. Right now, I'm a simple man, okay? And we're going for 4 ingredients at the moment. Oats, perfect pancake flour, but not too much. A little bit of skim milk until you get that consistency you want. And a ton of whey protein from Ghost, because we're about that life over on this channel. For toppings, you should go for some bananas, some zero-calorie maple syrup. If we're feeling wild, some strawberries, which we don't have today, but we do have some Greek yogurt, so we're going to put that on as well. And then I'm going to fill you guys in on what's going on today and talk about my next move, okay? My next business move is something I've been planning and thinking about for a while, and it's all going to come to life this weekend, and it's going to be absolutely insane. So sit back, relax, enjoy the vlog, give it a thumbs up, and let's get into it. I think I'm like 50 grams of oats. Keep in mind this is for 2 people. Okay, that's 68 grams. Right, loads of this. Okay, so just over 100 grams of this. 300, yeah, that's usually what we go for. We always add more. Yum! Makes me so happy. In the last video, Linda absolutely butchered the pancake flip. Like, people are losing their minds over that, so I gotta do a good one today. I usually just use the 1-cal spray coconut oil. Consistency turned out perfect. So we're gonna wait for this pan to heat up. Probably put on a big one, and then we'll see how I do with the flip, right? It's always a big, big part of my morning, you know, and it kind of defines how the day is gonna go. Bad flip, the day is ruined. Good flip, it's gonna be a good day. Oh, it's a great consistency today. Mm-hmm. Maybe just do big ones, yeah?
Mm-hmm.
Oh, I love it, like— That's gonna be a big one. Okay, so pro tip is put the banana like in the pancake when it's cooking, so when you flip it, it like caramelizes it, it heats up the banana. It's absolutely delicious. Okay, big moment. Let's see how we're doing. Nailed it! Gotta give it a little tap at the end as well. Mmm! Alright, here's Linda's extra large one. Okay, this is going to be a dangerous flip. Oh, I don't think it's ready yet. Highlight of our mornings. I'm actually like a DJ. I'm like— DJ. Little bit too much here. Could have used more coconut oil, but either way, it's going to be good. So this is what I meant when I said the banana kind of like gets caramelized. Gonna crack into these, put some toppings on it, and get the day rolling. Okay, we're doing round 2. Yeah, this should be enough for 2. All right, we're gonna go for 2 flips one time. Boom, boom, nailed them! This is a call out to Joey D. Let's see what you've got. Joey D thinks he's the pancake master. He's not. I am. I'm the OG. I'm the original.
Um, for somebody who's so into technology and cutting-edge technology, You know, you've vlogged and blogged and Instagrammed, and you used YouTube to extraordinary lengths. You're very traditional in some other ways. For instance, you like writing manually into a journal every day. Yeah. So why is that important to you?
I think there's just— we're so head in the phone, head on the screen. We're just so technologically based nowadays. That's fine. That's the way life is. So I think it's cool to just wind it back and just, you know, go old school and make it physical. Because when you put it on a screen or something, like, it's virtual. But when you write it down— this could be me, like, talking voodoo crap, you know— when you write it down, I believe you put it out there. It's a physical thing.
Yes.
And it's more likely to happen. Like, I swear to God, I— so, you know, there's a day— there's dates for the whole year.
Yes.
I'd flick well into the year and I'd be like, I want this to happen on this day. And I'd write it down so far in advance that I forget it would happen, and then I would flick over, it would finally be that day, and what I've written down has actually happened on that day. Like, it's just crazy. And like, I don't know what it is because like, I just don't know.
It's like another kind of form of that positive affirmation that you're talking about.
Completely.
It's like another form of visualization. And it's like, I don't know, maybe it's because you write it down and it's subconsciously in the back of your head that it's there. But either way, it happens, you know. And sometimes it happens even before, you know, so it's crazy.
And you log everything that happened that day?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So you've got it, you've got it, because we all become forgetful in time. It's wonderful to have something that you can look back on in a few years' time and see, God, I did that then. And do you remember that? And it's a regret of mine that I never, never— although maybe I don't want to see what I did.
Maybe I wouldn't— I don't write down Saturday nights. I'll obviously write important things, you know, far in advance.
But I'll also write before I go to bed every night.
I'll say, all right, Rob, how would your ideal day go tomorrow? Just write out your ideal day, you know? And it's like, that's what I say to people. They're like, how do you set goals? How do you plan out, you know, work the planner? And I'm like, just within reason, how would your ideal day go tomorrow? Gosh, I wake up at this time, I hit the gym, you know, I keep a food diary, or I eat 3 square meals a day. I call this person that I don't want to call, but I know I have to call. I send this email, I finish this project, you You don't write down, "I win the lotto." It's like, come on, man, be reasonable. But just write down how your ideal day would go. And funny enough, you write it down and it's in front of you, it's much more likely to happen.
So today is Saturday. You will write down today what you want to happen tomorrow?
Yes.
Yeah. And tomorrow is Mother's Day.
Yeah.
So how are you going to spend the day?
So I'll see how this day goes because I write it down.
It's the last thing I do before bed.
So, you know, depending on what happens the day before, I'll be like, oh, I need to finish this tomorrow. It always is just that final hour before I go to bed, and I also write down what I'm grateful for that happened that day, and then that helps me sleep at night, you know. No matter what happened, what crap you went through during the day, you go, well, you know what, I'm grateful for this, this, and that. I was just going to sleep a bit better now.
I, I think that's a very common thread for, for a lot of very successful people. They, they may pray about it, they may think about it, just or they write it down, what they're grateful for.
Yeah.
And it really grounds you and makes you appreciative. No matter how your day has gone, there's always some good things that are happening in your life.
Exactly. I honestly think it's impossible to be unhappy if you're grateful.
Yes.
Like, how can you be unhappy if you're grateful, you know? And so gratitude, learning that, and like just being grateful for even the small things. Like, it's easy to be grateful for the big things, you know, like, oh, you know, bought a new car, amazing. But it's harder to be grateful for things you don't even know. It's like, yo, I got food in my fridge, I got electricity, I got Wi-Fi. So much of the world doesn't have Wi-Fi, you know. They don't. I've got a warm bed, I've got shelter over my head, you know. It's so much stuff we take for granted. And once you wind it back a little bit, you start thinking of all these things you take for granted, you start being grateful for them, your mood is going to improve a lot.
Your message is hugely positive. And this comes across throughout all of your posts and all your videos and everything else. But I don't think it applies only to people that want to grow their social media. I don't think it only applies to people who want to be fitness gurus and who want to emulate you. I think this is cutting across into all sorts of businesses. In fact, I would go so far as to say that it's probably quite philosophical and pertaining to people and how they should live their lives. So what would you say would be your core message and where did that come from?
That is a tough question, but I really like what you said about philosophical. I'm a philosopher now. We'll add that to the bio.
We'll add that to all the other things.
Yeah, yeah, add that in there. But, you know, I do think it's important to, yeah, you know, have a deep think about, you know, what is the meaning of life?
I mean, I'm learning so much from you and your work and your dedication, your determination, and the way you approach your business. It's affecting me. I'm taking— I've got takeaways.
Thank you so much. So like, that means the world to me. So that's that. Even just hearing that's given me a great sense of fulfillment.
You can borrow this anytime.
Yeah, tonight maybe, Saturday. But, um, so what is my core message? Yeah, I'm almost sick of saying it, and it's so cliché, but it's like, find your passion, right? It's like life— you know, this is the youngest you'll ever be today. You'll never get this day back. What's more valuable than money? Time is, okay? So it's like once you find what you're destined to do, you know, not only you're gonna have a great time, everyone around you is gonna have a good time. It's like you're gonna be a pleasure to be around. You're not gonna be a burden on anyone. So, you know, if everyone just really found out what they love and what really gives them fulfillment. So for example, your comment just there, that gives me incredible fulfillment. Everyone just found that, well then the world would be a better place.
And it's a ripple effect, you affect everything.
There you go, yeah. A lot of people think, oh, I'm not a celebrity, I'm not a rock star, I'm not, you know, the President, I'm not world famous, what I do doesn't make a difference. The ripple effect is like, let's say you're a waiter in a café. If you, you know, give someone really good service, they're going to have a good day, they're going to be in a better mood, and that's going to ripple on to their colleagues and everything. So it doesn't matter what you're doing.
If you're a waiter in a place like that, and if you do a great job, the ripple effect is not only do you make me happy or you happy or whoever's being served by this waiter, but you tend to go up to the manager and say, this guy did a brilliant job. You should reward him. You should make him headway.
And then he becomes the manager.
Yes.
Yeah, exactly. So people think like, oh, I'm not present, not a rock star or whatever. And they're like, what I do doesn't matter. Trust me, it does.
You know, it really does. Epic workout in the gym there. We did legs, cardio, abs. So I'm very tired now, covered in sweat. I probably smell very bad. I'm sorry, Linda. But so I was expecting this ages ago. It is the signature pre-workout from my boy CG, who I will be seeing next week at Summer Shredding. I am going to be staying on his couch or Max's couch or a combination of both. I usually just crash somewhere every year when I go to Summer Shredding. But obviously super proud of Christian. I can't wait to try this out. Got delivered to the office next to Raw, so I'm a little bit late to the party. It's completely sold out now, but Dan just texted me there from Ghost and we're saying that we wanna sort out my flavor collab with Ghost. You know, just play up the Irish card, maybe do a private joke with the old LF Army poverty soda, you know, tuna and egg white flavored protein. Not actually, don't worry, but something, okay? But either way, I can't wait to try this out. I'm gonna do 2 scoops of this, for our last session before Ibiza tomorrow. So that's going to be a huge session. So yeah, perfect timing. Well, not actually perfect timing because it's late, but— Gimme ze spark. Alright, I'm so hungry, so this clip isn't going to go on for too long. I need to eat. And we just went for a ton of greens, double chicken, side of veggies, the usual. And we're both shredding hard for Ibiza. Again, tomorrow's our last day, then our flight is at like 5 AM. But so we're going to do a little bit of admin, later on, pick up some packages, um, start actually packing for the trip. Then I'm going to talk to you guys about what's my next move, okay, what this trip is all about. And it's pretty interesting and it's gonna be a big one. So yeah, yeah, we're gonna eat this and I'll chat to you guys in a bit. So good. That's epic as well. We've got more vegetables. All right, so the last couple of hours I just sat at my desk, and that is sometimes the struggle of vlogging. Not really struggle though, but sometimes you just like, you know, you're sat down maybe go to a movie, or maybe just do some work on your laptop. It's not really vloggable material. So the Ibiza prep will continue tomorrow because right now we're just cooking a really nice spread, and Linda's dad is going to come over and just have a nice meal with us. We're going to chill out, and she's going to get to see him, and I'm going to get to see him before we go. Because we go to Ibiza, then I'm back for not even 24 hours, and then we go to Texas, and then all around America because With the Irish or anyone from Europe, if you're like out in a certain direction like Australia or America, you've got to make the most of it because it's a long way. So we've got some epic travels coming up that I'll sit down and talk to you guys about tomorrow.
So see you then.
What's going on, guys? It is the next day, and like I said, I'm going to update you guys on my life and my next move, okay? So let's take it back to 2017. The first time I ever went to Ibiza was with Joe Delaney and Ryan from Student Aesthetics 2 other YouTubers that I'm sure you know, Nabil, who's Christian Guzman's videographer now, also a great friend of mine, Ben Keeley. They're also there helping us create content. We made 5 videos, if not more, and they got hundreds of thousands of views. The feedback was amazing. I still look at those videos and I'm like, it brings a smile to my face, okay? There's some of my favorite videos on this channel. So ever since then, I fell in love with that island, okay? I've gone back to Ibiza many times and I made some great connections there. I found that it's not just a place to get wasted, it's actually quite a productive place. There's a lot of people out there opening up bars, cafes, restaurants, gyms, clubs, everything. It's a really cool place and there's a lot of entrepreneurs there and interesting characters. So I said to myself, you know, I kind of want to get involved in that. I want to bring my business over to Ibiza. I want to do a trip to Ibiza that's as productive as possible. I pretty much want to get paid to go to Ibiza. So this trip that's coming up is more or less a work trip, okay? I'm turning the Creator Agency into a content creation agency. So for example, this trip I'm going with Mike Thurston and the Harrison Twins, um, 3 guys with huge followings, really engaged, and, um, really good guys as well. I've met them many times before. Mike's been on the channel. And so we're going to be working with 2 or 3 brands, Legend London Jeans, Dawn to Dawn is a jewelry company, Wayne Lineker Ocean Beach. We're working with some amazing people and we're creating content for them, okay? And, you know, because we're all YouTubers, we're all Instagrammers, and that's what we do. And so with that, we've got an amazing itinerary laid out. There's going to be Bentleys, there's going to be yachts, eating in beautiful locations, and I really can't wait for it. And so that's what I want my next move to be. If you're a business owner and you want your business shot, your products shot in amazing locations, promoted, well then drop an email to contact@thecreatoragency.com or even just DM us on Instagram. That's what I want to do. You know, I love travel, I love content creation. So to turn the agency into a content creation agency, still do events, I think it would be amazing and it would be a lot of fun. So our flight is at 5:45 AM tomorrow. I'm about to go hit a big gym session and then yeah, we're going to get right into it. So I'm going to go to gym now, like I said, show you guys like packing, maybe do a clothing haul or something and let's get stuck into it. But yeah, thanks so much for watching and for following along this journey. And I think it's cool that I'll always be in love with YouTube and fitness, but I think it's great to diversify yourself and not put all your eggs in one basket. Like one day I'd love to have this agency, like the size of like, you know, VaynerMedia, Gary Vaynerchuk style, you know, just something really cool. But yeah, so I'm just rambling here, I'm just talking, filling you guys in on what's my next move, and that is it. It's all right, let's go lift some weights. Literally just opened up a tub of this, uh, showed you that in yesterday's video. We're gonna go for 2 scoops. It is my boy Christian's pre-workout, very excited to try this. You know what, let's just go for one little bit more because today's workout is going to be so big. Fill to the Top as well. Ghost, of course, the discount code is linked at the bottom of every video. And again, me and Dan talking about my flavour collab. We just can't figure out what we should call it. I would love some recommendations below. Anyways, let's go.
It is a cliché to ask, where do you see yourself in 5 years' time? But I want you to tell me where you see yourself in 5 years' time and what sort of technology do you think would be in place that will further your brand?
Absolutely. So where do I see myself right now? I'm like investing in little different things. I'm breaking into different markets. So, you know, getting more into the social media agency side of things, events, obviously fitness as well, and, you know, food. I don't want to give away too much, but right now I'm like investing in different things and setting myself up for the future, you know, and using my money wisely, you know, and not just like blowing it all on stupid things that's going to give me no return. For example, yeah, I'm 27, and let's say look at probably the, the biggest names in fitness, um, are like Steve Cook, for example. He's like 32, 33, you know. So there's no, like, there's no age limit on it, you know. And all the best public speakers that I follow— Gary Vaynerchuk, Tony Robbins, to name a few, Joe Rogan— he's 50. The biggest podcast in the world, your man's 51. Like, why would I stop creating content 5 years from now on when I love it? Like, sitting down right now, this podcast, I'm loving it. We're having a great chat.
Yeah. Okay, I love it.
Am I going to stop in 5 years?
No, I'm going to be doing more of it in 5 years, right?
So I'm going to still be creating content, but I'm going to have a lot of other investments.
But I mean, as I say, the technology advances are just so rapid, so quickly. In a year's time even, you could be doing something completely different on another medium that hasn't been invented yet.
Exactly. Like 5 years ago, I didn't even start YouTube. You know, vlogging wasn't as much of a thing as it is now. It of course existed, but it wasn't nearly anything what it's like now. Instagram was like hardly a thing either. Like, there's, there's going to be new apps, and it's great. And that's one thing, don't get like attached to one app. It's like, people are like, oh Rob, what would you do if Instagram shut down tomorrow? I'd be like, get on the next hot thing.
Yes, yes, something.
Keep rolling, you know, adapt. And whatever you're doing, give it 100%. So, you know, um, who knows what will happen in 5 years, but I'll be on it and I'll be doing my best.
The social media marketing agency.
Yeah.
Is that something that you have started now or that you're planning to?
I'm planning on— I usually don't like talking about future plans. I don't talk about things until they're done.
But you write them down.
I keep them to myself. Yeah, okay. Yeah. Oh God, no one's reading that planner. No one's reading that planner. So yeah, with that, okay, where the idea came from, um, yet to like officialize this, confirm it, but we kind of spoke about this a little bit at start about integrity and working with brands. So I've obviously worked with so many brands and agencies in Dublin and Ireland and the UK, and they— it's just like not real organic content. These people, like, you know, maybe they're a different generation that don't understand social media as much. They're giving you pre-written captions and it's like, what? They're giving you these, you have to post this. And, and I would say to this company, I know that's going to do terribly and generate less sales for you. Because I know my audience. I can post this and say this, and this will generate more sales than you. These marketing agencies are so close-minded. They're like, no, it has to be done this way. They're too corporate, okay? And so I want to come along with an agency with someone that not only lives and breathes social media but genuinely does it themselves.
Brilliant, cheers. I will pay with a card that I think I've left in the car, but we are going to quickly do a bit of vlogging first. So we're here in camerakit.ie today. Ternier, um, such an amazing shop. Like, literally, it's like for a YouTuber, this is like candy shop, right? So for the Ibiza trip tomorrow, we're picking up a flash because we're going to be going to like a lot of dinners, a lot of nighttime events, so we want to be able to capture that. And then I'm also getting a DJI Osmo Mobile 2, which is pretty much a gimbal for your phone. And on this channel, I often talk about how everyone's— they ask me, how do I start YouTube? You know, how do I start creating content? And everyone thinks you have to buy this 3-5 grand camera, and that's not the case at all, okay? Your phone, especially nowadays, are just— shoots in 4K, okay? Absolutely amazing. If you go back to these first ever videos on this channel, I started with an iPhone 5, okay? Now you all have iPhone X, so there's no excuse to knock it out there, start creating content. So picking this up, camera-kit.ie again, put us a gent in here. And, uh, so yeah, we're gonna get this and then get on with the day. So yeah, this is really getting me excited for this trip. So we're just out for a little bit of lunch. Day before Ibiza, so we're going low on the carbs. Side salad, chicken salad, and then I got the grilled salmon. This is Union Cafe in Chershen, looks absolutely delicious. I'm hungry 'cause I haven't eaten since the gym, so I'm just gonna enjoy this, and then I'm gonna do that clothing haul when I get home. Okay, so it is time for a pre-Ibiza clothing haul. Got a package sent out from my old friends from Boohoo. This is not a sponsored post, they didn't ask me to do this. But I just think it'll make for an interesting video. And I did it 2 years ago in 2017 before I went to Ibiza with Joey Dee, and you guys really liked it, got a ton of views. So we're doing that 2019 edition. So let's go.
Oh yes, I forgot I ordered so much.
Alright, so quick clothing haul, and none of this is sponsored. I have worked with Boohoo in the past, so I do have a discount code that'll get you 30% off. It's LIPSATONGUE. 30. But again, you know, I get no commission on this. It's just for you guys. And then a neighbor of mine is actually— he works with Fila Ireland or Fila UK, and he helped me out with some bits too. But again, on this channel, you know, it's all about fitness, fashion, travel, lifestyle, everything. So thought I'd go through it really quickly. And then after Ibiza, we are going to Texas and then LA. So this is going to be great for that as well. Like, I don't need all of this for like one weekend in Ibiza, okay? Like, Most of the time you end up just wearing like swim shorts and a pair of runners out anyways. Hey, so I actually have gone out in a pair of like wet swim shorts, like straight from the beach shop. Wep, so cool. Anyways, okay, so these are gonna be awesome. They're Fila and they're like really kind of old school. I think I'm gonna pair them up with this white shirt over here. So this is real kind of like cottony, it falls on you, it's like stretchy, and I got that in a large. With Boohoo, I tend to go size up in everything, probably because I kind of like to wear things baggy now as well. It's kind of funny, when I first started lifting, I'd wear everything super tight to try show off any ounce of muscle I had gained. But now I'm a bit, you know, I've been lifting for many years, I'm comfortable, I'm happy with my results, so I can wear baggy stuff. And mate, if that doesn't show off my muscles as much, then that's okay, right? But anyways, so then let's go around, let's go show all the swim shorts. So again, these, I think these are really funky. And when I post like wild pictures on Instagram of like just, you know, really like crazy patterns and stuff like that, it just tends to get better engagement. It's a bit more attention-grabbing, even though I'd probably go for a pair of black shorts, plain black shorts, or plain white shorts. I'd probably choose that, you know, over them any day. But these just tend to go off for some reason. Got these as well. I really like the colors, kind of dark and moody, and they're kind of retro looking as well. The design, it's kind of like the Fila tracksuit that I also got, but again, it's gonna be too hot in Ibiza to wear that. These are something that I'd wear loads, just really simple navy white stripes along the bottom. Then let's quickly go to the shirts. So I'm gonna have to narrow these down. Again, Ibiza in June is absolutely roasting, so where are my shirts kind of loose fitting? Uh, that's plain navy. That is appropriate enough to enter the pool with a pair of swim shorts. Plain black shirt, can't go wrong with that. Then got this kind of like blue one with like a really big collar. It's kind of like Tommy Vercetti. It's a Grand Theft Auto character. Rob Lipsett, Tommy Vercetti. And then again, this is a similar fit, it's just a striped pattern. So that is the shirts. Again, I wear all my shirts kind of like loose cotton, loose-fitting cargoes. Again, these are going to be like perfect for just like going out in or even during the daytime. I got a similar pair of them in black. Um, again, like these, I'm yet to try them on. I'm hoping the fit is good, but it's kind of like a relaxed fit. You can't really go wrong when the waistband is like a drawstring. Here we got these retro trackie bottoms that I'm not going to bring, uh, cuz again, Ibiza is going to be way too warm for them. That was quick and efficient. A pair of fresh boxers, one 1, 2, 3, like essentials before you go off on holidays is fresh boxer and socks. And then the last thing is just some cotton shorts that look absolutely microscopic. Okay, I definitely ordered the wrong size. Either that or I've got small legs. I'm skipping leg day, who knows. But so this gets me really excited. And then along with that, we did also get the new camera equipment that I'm yet to try out. So I'm really excited for that. And so again, I hope you enjoyed like the just me going through everything, preparing for a holiday. I've seen some other YouTubers do like holiday prep and I really enjoy it. So yeah, give the vid— bleh— give the video a thumbs up if you're enjoying it. And then yeah, we're nearly finished up this day. We're gonna go to Linda's house, which is about an hour away, pick up some bits for her, and then try get an early night. But it's gonna be one of those nights where we sleep for like 2 hours because we've got to be in the airport like 3 or something. Either way, it's all part of the fun. Catch you in the next clip. Look at this, she's actually putting together outfits that go together. Like, this, this is what I needed in my life.
This is the balance and order that I needed.
Oh, you're so good.
