Hey guys, what is going on? Welcome to today's full day of eating video. Now I started my cut a couple days ago, maybe 3 or 4 days. This is the first full day of eating off my 2019 cut, so I'm very excited. I've been bulking since— well, I finished my last cut in May 2018 and maintained over the summer, which I was really happy with. And then around September, just after the Olympia, I started slowly gaining weight. So all in all, that's well over 6, 7 months, really coming up to 9 months even. And so yeah, it's great. You know, I gained so much strength. I had such a nice break from dieting, and I gained something like 15 pounds, which I'm sure a lot is water and glycogen and fat. It's probably all just water and glycogen and fat. I probably didn't gain a pound of muscle. But anyways, it's time to cut again. And with the bulking videos, you know, you guys have seen me— you see me eat out, you see me enjoy my diet a little bit more, you know, pizza, pasta, and all that good stuff. But with the full day of cutting videos, I think you have to be a little bit more creative with your diet. You have to do more home cooking, that's for sure. And I think they make for better videos, and they're kind of more informative instead of me just like going to a restaurant, ordering pizza, and be like, yeah, I definitely hit my calories today. So anyways, we're gonna start with breakfast. I've already been up a couple of hours, um, but I don't breakfast straight away. So sometimes I'll intermittent fast later in the day, sometimes I'll just delay breakfast a little bit, whatever you want to call it. But either way, I always start off with a main protein-based breakfast, because I like to save all my carbs and fats for later in the day. So it's kind of like intermittent carbing and fatting, intermittent calorieing, right? You just save your calories for later in the day and have a nice big dinner. Let's get into the video. I'll discuss my macros later on. Uh, right, breakfast, let's go. All right, so this is a meal that is driving people insane. Just one day when I came home from London there, 'Cause I was traveling for so long before that, I had like nothing in my fridge but like a tin of tuna. And then I ran down to the shop downstairs, just picked up a few bits like eggs, milk, and stuff. And so I was like, "Okay, I gotta make a meal." So I put this together, right? And I don't know, I just kinda like it. Bit of hot sauce on top. You'll see. And it does have less than 2 grams of carbs, less than 2 grams of fat, and 52 grams of protein. So ladies and gentlemen, I give you the controversial tuna and egg whites. Tuna goes in. In. Black pepper up there, chili and sea salt. All right, it's time for everyone's favorite meal. Oh yeah, that tuna and eggy goodness. So then mix it all up pretty much and let it do its thing. Meal number 1, 52 protein, um, minimal fats and carbs. Probably a few carbs from this, but I'm not so rigid on my tracking now. I'm really accurate, but I'll get even more tighter on my tracking towards the end of a cut. So I'm going to eat this now, and then we're going to have a little chat about macros, my goals, and everything. All right, so quick little chitchat about my macros. I'm setting protein as usual, always around 200 grams, and it's just the sweet spot for me. It's well over a gram per pound of body weight. And the reason I do that, because, you know, I take in more protein than I need. You really You don't even need much more than a gram per pound of body weight. You don't even need that much, some people say. But the reason I do it is because my appetite is insane. You've all seen my calorie challenges. I'm gonna finish this cut. There's a few big ones coming. And so you've all seen them. So my appetite is ridiculous. I eat so fast. So a high protein intake is shown to reduce appetite and improve satiety. You know, makes you feel more full. It's pretty common knowledge. And that's one of the reasons why I do start my day with a really high protein breakfast. So I set protein at like 200 grams for obviously, you know, all the good stuff— recovery, muscle growth, everything. But main reason is because I like it, personal preference, and stops me from getting hungry. Next up is fats. So I usually set my fats around 50 or 60 grams. I've tried a high-fat diet, I've tried lower carb, really high fat, I've tried a lower-fat diet, and I find that Around the sweet spot for me is about 50-60 grams, especially if I'm taking in stuff like fish oils and, you know, eggs and nuts and kind of avocados and really kind of healthy fat sources as well, that I don't find any benefit from going above those numbers. So towards the end of the cut, I'll go like around 50, and then towards now, um, around now, I'll stick around 60 grams. So it's 200 protein, 60 grams of fat. Carb intake is an interesting one, and there is a sliding scale there. I'll usually begin my cut on about 350 grams of carbs, and then I'll go down in 50-gram increments as progress stalls, or if I want to lean up a little bit faster. People these days, they've gone like, they boast on how much calories they cut on. They're like, "Oh, this much carbs I'm cutting," and it's like, it literally makes no sense. Like, you should set your macros and calories according to so many things, like your goals, your activity level, your training age. You're cutting, you're bulking, and a lot of it as well is your time frame. If you're under a deadline and you gotta cut fast, sometimes you're gonna have to suffer a little bit. If you've got a really long prep ahead of you, let's say you're planning like a competition or a holiday or a photo shoot, you've got loads of time, well then you can cut slowly. So time frame is one that people don't really think about, and it's really important too. So I'm starting my carbs around 350, and I'm sure they'll drop to about 300. Um, as the cook goes on soon enough. Then 250, the lowest I've ever gone, super shredded for my competition, was like 2 years ago, and that was 50 fat, 200 protein, and 200 carbs with cardio pretty much every day. So that's like if I want to get seriously lean, but, um, won't be— won't be around there for a while anyways. So today you're going to see carbs around 300 grams. So one thing I want to throw on there is your carb intake. That is what I kind of use as a sliding scale. So if you're losing weight too fast, maybe up your carbs a little bit. If you're losing weight too slow, maybe lower them a little bit. But I like to just personally set protein and fat and then vary my calories by varying my carbs. So I hope that gave you a little bit of background. I do have a cover photoshoot for the biggest fitness magazines on the planet, and that I'll tell you about in a few more videos to confirm when it's all confirmed. But so that's an amazing goal to have, like literally the COVID And so there's that. And then if I'm liking where I'm at, if I'm lean enough, I might look for a competition, maybe in the UK, and compete again. Nothing confirmed yet, um, but yeah, that's my upcoming goals. I also want to get shredded for summer too. All right, boys and girls, so we gotta go work out now. So next up, we're gonna take some pre-workout. Hooray! One weird thing I do is, okay, I put like a little bit of water in my shaker and like literally just a small bit, and then I put it in the freezer. So when you take it out of the freezer, you've got a big massive ice cube in there, so your pre-workout is all cold and delicious. They're so good with BCAAs as well. Anyways, we are gonna take the new flavor by Ghost. They did a collaboration with Sonic, which is a drive-in restaurant in America. It's huge over there. And so it's so crazy that they like collab with these mainstream companies like Sour Patch Kids, Sonic, like these huge companies, Warheads, and like actually put their genuine flavors in their products. Like, it's very innovative, and that's why I love being with such a sick brand. And the owners are also awesome as well, and the crew is awesome as well. You, you all know who Ghost is, right? Discount code Lipsett. But anyways, this is my current stack. Do some pre-workout, then I have Pump and creatine in the middle of my workout, sip on that while I'm training, and then I will have a protein shake after. So I'll show you guys like a protein shake recipe later in the day. Let's take 2 scoops of this and get on our way. Also, nearly forgot, as my cut goes on and muscle loss becomes more likely, I do take BCAAs. Uh, it's probably the least important supplement if you're hitting your protein intake, but I'll take that 1% difference as I get deep into my cuts. So this is another product that we're going to incorporate soon. Hop in, loser, we're going lifting. What's up? Yo, wait, wait, taste this, taste this. All right, this new? Yeah, yes, that new, new. Oh Lord, sell it to the people, sell it! That is good. Yeah, it's like, you know when you go to America and it's like that typical American candy flavor that you don't get here? It's like a slush poppy.
Yeah.
This can go Lipsett. 20% off! Ghost for Air Max Day actually sent me these new shoes, so nothing beats a pair of fresh white sneaks. What's going on, lads? So mad, like, love them.
Yeah, jump out, boys. That's Nike boys hopping out. This shit way too big. When we pull up, give me the loot. Give me the loot.
All right, so this is the starting point. I've been cutting a few days, so like, you know, you'll drop a little bit of water in the first few days. So, you know, no real ab definition. Like, you know, you can see a little bit. I'm lean. I'm certainly not saying I'm fat, but, you know, just not shredded compared to what you have to be for like a photoshoot or a, you know, competition prep stage lean. You know, it's nowhere near that. And like, you can even look at like old videos that I'll overlay. And like, you know, the veins are going crazy here on your arms, the back definition and stuff. It's just like night and day for anyone who kind of follows bodybuilding and it kind of gets it. But for like the layman, for like the general population, like this would be deemed like ripped or lean. But just for the kind of industry I'm in and for what I'm going for, um, I've definitely got a few weeks, a few weeks to go. So yeah, I'm really happy with how things are. I'm feeling strong and feeling full. After like maybe 8 weeks or something, be right where I want to be. I'm just gonna casually get a little bit naked in the car park. I'm sorry. We are going into town because I am picking up a new camera because my Sony A6500 fell into the sea in the Maldives. Could fall into worse seas, you know. I'm like, at least the Maldives took it, but, uh, that thing's gone. But it was time for an upgrade anyways. What I always say, like, if you're a content creator like if that's your main source of income, your main— your living, so what you do for a living, it's like you should not hesitate to spend your money on the latest cameras, you know, laptops, software, all that, because it's like, what else— how else are you gonna invest in your business? Like, what else you gonna buy? So I'm gonna buy the Sony A7 III. I love the A7s, I love Sonys. Right now I'm using a Sony RX100, it's a little handheld vloggy thing. But yeah, I'm really excited because I've used it loads when I'm working with photographers and videographers, and I know it's a camera I love, so let's get it! So here in one of my favourite places in Dublin, it is like a YouTuber's toy store, it is Camera Center on Grafton Street. They've been like friends of the channel for so many years now, so you know, I like, you know, giving them my business and staying here, and staff here are amazing as well. Look at you blushing in the background there now! But so yeah, this is the camera I'm picking up right here, is the A7III, and then what's the lens? 24-105mm f/4. Nice one, so I can use that for vlogging and cinematic stuff as well. Okay, the drone is going to be out of action for a while, we're getting that repaired, and we're also picking up a new camera. I actually break a lot of cameras. This looks so bad because like I broke the Sony A65, I'm picking up a broken Canon M6, I'm leaving in a drone. Okay, we're being a little bit reckless out here, you know, it ain't safe on the tubes. We got really hungry all of a sudden, so we're getting our salads in. I was here with Joey D when he was in Ireland in October The year is going so fast, it's actually shocking. But I try to eat like, you know, a salad a day or just plenty of greens when I'm cutting, just keep myself full. Obviously hit your fiber intake, vitamins, minerals, all that good stuff. And I do also love salads as well. But right, this I would estimate to be at least 500 calories. It is a big salad, and a lot of people think just like, oh, salad, you know, you can just eat as much of that as you want. But especially if you're eating eggs, you know, calories do add up. So, and I also got double protein as well, double chicken. So I'm gonna estimate like 45 grams of protein in this at least, and about 500 calories. Yeah, then also got this hipster kombucha tea, and that's got 60 calories in it. So yeah, and when I'm eating out, I just overestimate and guesstimate, and that's how I track. All right, so I'm just after dropping Ben off there. I just hung out with his family for a little bit, chilled, and now I'm gonna go home and have another meal because I'm craving like oats or shake. So it's gonna be one or the other, and then I've got to get ready, get dressed, and go into town again, because I'm going to basically one of the raw gyms in town is closing. They're having a closing party. I'm gonna give you guys a full kind of update on all that later. So much going on in my life right now that I'm like, I'm trying to just like, trying to just be chill, trying to just like play cool. Okay, so just got home, about to make something now in a second, but I want to quickly kind of talk through everything I got in Camera Center. They did me a really good deal, still quite pricey, but definitely go check them out if you're in Dublin. Ask for Damien, tell them I sent you, and they'll do you a good deal too. So anyways, we got a UV filter which goes on the lens of the camera. It just kind of makes it more sharper, you know, better contrast. First time using one of these, so I'm excited to see if it makes a difference. Got a memory card, the True Dot IN, really grateful for that. A mobile phone stand, I'm sure I'll put that to use. Then we got the Canon M6, which is what I used to vlog on about a year ago, and I got it repaired. Uh, it broke, it was like their fault, Canon fixed it for free. So yeah, it's a good vlogging camera. I would choose the Sony RX, which is what I'm vlogging on now. I would choose that over it, but it's still handy and you can put an audio clip on top of it. By the way, none of this is sponsored, I just love talking about cameras. And then we got the Sony A7S III and a 24-105mm lens. These are the big boys right here. It's the most expensive camera I've ever bought in my whole YouTube career. It's obviously a big purchase, and you know that feeling when you, when you're just about to make that big purchase and you do it and you're like, oh, you know, was that the right decision? And absolutely, like I spoke about earlier, it was. And this just makes me really want to create some, not just like more content, but for example, watching Christian, one of my best friends, watching his summer shredding video, uh, that was amazing. I'm actually in the video, but that's an amazing video. Like, that's a cinematic piece. Like, it's, it's obviously so much time and effort went into that, but it's amazing. So I want to create some stuff like that, you know, do the regular vlogs, the full day of eating, the chill little handheld ones, but make some, um, some crazy stuff like that as well. So I think that's gonna help me. All right, let's do 100 grams of oats because that is a nice even number and makes me happy. Just going to use water and microwave that for, yeah, 2 minutes. Next up, gonna add a scoop of protein to the oats. So just pop on the scale, it's like 45 grams. Just gonna throw it on top and just mix it. And if it's not mixing in— ah, this is mixing in— if it's not mixing in, just add a little bit more water and keep going. To just be borderline insane, putting a protein bar right in the middle. If you haven't done this, you are missing out. Like, it all melts and oh my God. So in that meal, protein bar, scoop of protein, and 100 grams of oats, there is 725 calories. That is nice. Um, still got a good few calories to play with, but now I'm gonna eat this. We've gotta go to Raw in town. I'm gonna join in on the festivities. And then probably have one more meal to finish off this full day of eating. This is me for tonight. We are going to the Raw James closing party. Super casual. There's going to be food and drinks there. I'm going to refrain. I'm definitely staying off the alcohol anyways, but it's going to be crazy. Like, I joined this gym 10 years ago. It's the first proper gym I ever joined. And so today they're closing down their doors. They're relocating because it is a very old gym. It's still going to be crazy. Like, it's going to be emotional and like I do have so much love for this gym and so many memories. So everyone's there now, I'm gonna go meet them and let's have a good time. It's Friday night in Dublin, so there's a bit of a buzz around the place. Tempting to go out, but I'm just gonna go in and chill out for a little bit. Insane! Very sad to see it like this, but everyone's still having a good time. Damn, crazy! So people, you definitely recognize these change rooms. They have been a regular feature in many of the vlogs. So many physique updates has happened right here because the lighting is just next level. So this is a serious trip down memory lane. And my first ever video, first ever video, um, it is taking place in Raw Gym. So you can go look back at that. I've never deleted a video. You can see my oldest videos and you'll see me, if I remember correctly, the first exercise ever done on this channel is an incline dumbbell press. So you see me doing that in the corner over there. So yeah. It's crazy, I'm tearing up here. All right, so I'm just driving home, called over to the mother's house and she gave me a little snack for my drive home. Little Cocoa Pops bar, 85 calories. Yeah, I'm gonna eat this. I still got like 500 calories left to hit as well, so I'm gonna go home, make like a quick easy meal, about 40, 50 grams of protein, a little bit of carbs, some fats, and then we're gonna finish this full day of eating. Hope you're enjoying it. It's actually a very eventful day. This was a real rollercoaster of feels, especially for a full day of eating. Like, started off just like throwing eggs on my tuna, and now we're like reliving memories. Finishing my day off with a super simple meal. I've got a little bit of carbs to hit and about 40 grams of protein. So I'm gonna weigh out this beef, add some veggies, and probably put like a little bit of soy sauce, some hot sauce on it, coconut oil, and that is gonna be the final meal. That was a terrible click. Damn, can we just take a moment to check that? A little bit of beef, veggies, there's some beans in there, rice, broccoli. That is ideal. So guys, the video ends here. I hope you enjoyed it. Just classic handheld vlog, classic raw vlog, protein oats, everything. I hope you enjoyed it. It's funny, I was thinking like this video is probably going to get more views than like me and a thumbnail in like Dubai and a Ferrari. Like, this is what you guys want and I love it. There's going to be plenty more full day of eatings on this cook because I know it helps you guys, you know, make your diet more enjoyable, more sustainable, and we'll all get shredded for summer together. Live happier, healthier, and fitter lives. Keep it real. Give the video a thumbs up if you enjoyed it.
See you in the next one. Peace. It's how it look, yeah. About to check, check. Just check the foots, yeah. Pass this to my daughter, I'mma show her what it took. Be mama, couple fours, got these other bitches shook, yeah.
