My Weekend, New AdiPowers, Protein Cookies (Vlog #4)

In this weekend vlog, the creator shares a rapid‑morning protein mocha made with whey and espresso, announces the purchase of €180 AdiPowers weightlifting shoes from DA Fitness and frames them as a long‑term investment, and outlines his pre‑ and post‑workout nutrition (a TNT pre‑workout shot and a microwaved protein cookie). He then details a slightly altered gym routine, describing flat dumbbell presses, incline barbell presses, set and weight choices, belt usage, and the mental strategies he employs to push through reps. After the workout he discusses his recovery meal of steak and sweet potatoes, his dislike of rest days, and plans for a black‑tie birthday event. The vlog also covers his current video‑recording setup—iPhone 5s, iMovie, a tripod—and his intention to upgrade to a magnetic mount for better gym filming and future recipe videos. He wraps up by mentioning a relaxed Sunday, a brief drink, and teasers for upcoming Q&A and informational content, while encouraging viewers to comment and subscribe.

What's going on, peeps? So I'm in a rush this morning, so I'll show you what I make when I'm in a rush. Get some NXT Whey, can be any whey of course though, chocolate preferably, that's chocolate mint, and then chuck an espresso in. There's already ice and water and stuff in there, and you make like a protein mocha. It tastes unbelievable. Try it out, let me know. Anyways, I gotta bolt. So check out what I picked up. Got me a fresh pair of Addi Powers, and I know these are expensive, they're €180. I got them from DA Fitness. Anyone who goes to DIT Angel Street, it is right around the corner from that. I'll also link the website down below. But the way I see it is, you know, I haven't gone out in ages. I rarely drink. I don't smoke. I could spend my money— sorry, I could spend my money on worse things. And the, you know, they're more of an investment more than anything else. I'm gonna have them forever and I'm in this for the long run, you know, I love lifting. So I really don't think they were a bad buy at all. And I cannot wait to use them. So excited for that now, and I'll of course tell you how they are after. Alright, so about to hit the gym. I'll show you my current pre- and post-workout nutrition. Basically, this is it. It is a shot, a TNT pre-workout shot. And then a cookie afterwards. That's what I'm all about, you know, train and then reward yourself with a nice cookie afterwards. So super convenient as well. Literally just crack a bottle here and then scoff one of these afterwards. Usually I like to actually put these in the microwave. It just makes them all that better. Anyways, I'm outta here. All right, so today in the gym I went and changed my routine up slightly. Not something I usually do. The reason for that being is if you change up your program or your routine every week, how do you expect to progress at it, and progression is everything. But that said, you know, it's important to enjoy yourself, have fun, and it can get boring always doing the same workout. So if you want to change things up a bit, that's cool, as long as you don't change things drastically. For example, I'm still sticking to the main compound movements that I always do. It's only just begun, don't tell me our youth is running And so here I started off with the flat dumbbell press, probably one of my favorite exercises ever. And yes, I'm aware I'm pretty much wearing a rag, and I also put on my belt for these, something I've never done before, but it didn't really help me very much. I get this weight beltless. And I did 3 sets of the 45s, then I did one back-off set with the 40s. I think getting past the 40s is like a rite of passage. I remember when I worked my way up to them, to the 40s, I was like, yeah, I'm pretty much Ronnie Coleman now. Then I went on to incline barbell press. Keeping that form ever so strict. I thought I'd be pretty fatigued after dumbbell pressing, so I only put on 65 kg. I was way too light, so I put on 70, kept the form strict, and that felt way better. And I knocked out, I think it was 3 or 4 sets. Now at this stage, I'm pretty gassed. I'm going for 6 reps here. First few go well, then whoop, no deal. And this is where your mentality comes in play. You need to You know, take a step back a minute, say to yourself, look, you can get this, and just concentrate like you're taking a kick for a conversion or a penalty. Here I should be more tired after doing that first set, but I'm pumped. Um, I go in strong and, you know, I bash out the first few reps, they're going well, and then around the 5th rep, just right here, I look myself in the mirror right here, I look myself in the mirror and I'm like, "Nope, you son of a bitch, you are getting that 6th rep." And get it. So it really is just all in the head and I'm happy with that. So finally home. When I get home, or sometimes I do it in Raw, I like to put this bad boy in the microwave. I put it on for like 30 seconds, if even. Oof, check that out. That shit is moist. Oh boy. So I've said before that the post-workout nutrition, what comes before that is your overall daily nutrition. Your overall total intake, that is number one. But I love just, you know, regardless if it's helping me or not, I love just after my workout having something nice to eat because I'm always hungry and just sitting back relaxing for a while, letting the endorphins flow and just chilling. What's going on everyone? I am just picking up some laundry. I was getting a tux dry cleaned because I got a friend's birthday Sunday, bank holiday, and it's a black tie event. He's going all out for it. But today's Saturday and it's meant to be a rest day today, but I'm pretty close to the gym, so I don't know what to do. I might maybe go in, maybe do a bit of mobility work, some conditioning work. I don't know. Does anyone else hate rest days? Like, I find it hard to stay out of the gym. But anyways, we'll see what happens. What's up? So just had my dinner there. It was like steak, sweet potatoes, and having some not-so-poverty soda. I need to get rid of that or find some fake-ass 7-Up. You know, it's gonna cost me too much. But anyways, so I'm gonna show you here. This is the thing I use to record my videos at the moment, but I think I'm gonna upgrade to the magnetic one. Like, that is just perfect for in the gym, you know, you could attach to any piece of equipment. And also, if I got that magnetic one, I could attach it to that big metal thing there, and then I could start doing— I could start doing some proper cooking videos, like some actual recipes. Because when I make, um, a lot of my meals, I get so many messages being like, oh, here, how do you 'How do you do this?' And you know, I thought, I thought it, you know, it was pretty self-explanatory, but I guess not. So I'm gonna order one of these bad boys. I think it'll be a good upgrade to the channel. Also, this is what I use to edit all my videos. I just use iMovie. It's so simple. Just, you know, if you want to drag any footage in, you just literally click and drag. You want to add in text, you just do it to one of the layers below. Adding music, you literally just drag it, and it's actually kind of enjoyable making them. Um, it's something I like to do in the evening, just, you know, sit down, chill out, and edit some videos. So if anyone's wondering how I make them, it is this— it's iMovie, and I record them all on an iPhone 5s. Um, so obviously it's really compatible with the Mac, the iMovie and all that, so it's pretty handy and As I said, it's fun to do. So, just in case anyone was wondering, that is how it is done. What's going on, friends? Today is Sunday. I went and took advantage of the empty gym as I always do. I'm sorry, I wasn't— I just wasn't too bothered recording my workout. I forgot my little tripod thing. I took too much pre-workout, and then afterwards I just crashed on the couch. So the majority of my day looked like this. And now anyways, I got my friend's birthday, like I was saying yesterday, so I'm gonna go get ready and try my— make myself look not as bad as usual. So just gonna have one drink before I head out. Not only do I drink poverty soda, but I also drink poverty vodka as well. What, what even is that? How do you pronounce— can someone try to pronounce that? Rachmaninoff. Rachmaninoff. Sure, hey, look, we'll give it a go, see where it takes me. So I just wanted to show you that I don't always wear sweats, hoodies, and gym clothes, but I think I'm gonna wrap this video up here. But thanks a mil for watching my boring weekend, and later on this week I'm gonna do a Q&A and and maybe an informative video, and I'm gonna try to get those recipes up too. Anyways, thanks for watching. Sorry I've been slacking on the videos lately, and keep it real. Like, comment, subscribe.
