What's going on everyone? A while ago in one of my vlogs I made a burrito bowl and, you know, I quickly ran through it, I flipped off Uncle Ben and then I went on with the video. So I'm like, fuck you Uncle Ben, it's a refeed day, I'm eating the whole bag. So ever since then I've been getting so many messages being like, Rob, can you explain how to make the burrito bowl start to finish? Give us a burrito bowl. So Finally, I'm making a video just dedicated to the burrito bowl. But first off, before I start, I want to talk about it. It's pretty much the perfect meal. You've got 5 servings of vegetables, it's high in fiber, high in protein, and it also tastes fantastic. So yeah, it is like, it's like the ultimate meal. But anyways, enough of me talking, jibber jabbering. Let's go cook the burrito bowl. Alright, so the best thing that you can do is lay out everything that you're going to need before you begin. So I'm just going to run you through it here. We got 250 grams of chicken breast, we got red and green peppers, courgette, red onion, lettuce. We got 75 grams of white rice weighed out here. You can also use brown rice, of course. Red kidney beans, salsa, cottage cheese, and grated cheese, like. And then for seasoning, we are going to go for cayenne pepper, chopped garlic, chili flakes, and just normal ground black pepper. Okay, so the first step is, uh, sort out what's going to take the longest. So it's going to take the rice and the chicken the longest to cook, so we're going to put this on a baking tray, season it, and we're going to put the rice to boil. Okay, so we seasoned the chicken and put it on some baking paper, and that's about to go into the oven. And then we're gonna just boil the rice, and both should be done in about 10 minutes, if even. Okay, so rice is boiling away, chicken is in the oven, and while you're waiting, if you want, you can go ahead and pop the beans in the microwave. That's 75 grams of kidney beans weighed out there. You might as well, just while you're waiting for everything to cook. Okay, so everything is ready. Rice is boiled, chicken is done. So now we go about constructing the bowl. So first thing we're gonna do is we're gonna dice up the chicken. So it's time to make the bowl. The first thing that goes in is the lettuce. Next, it's gonna be the onions. Next up, it's gonna be the rice. Then we're gonna put in the peppers and the courgettes. Then lastly, we're gonna put in the chicken and the beans. Okay, and then last but not least, we are going to add on the toppings, and then we're gonna just melt the cheese in the microwave for 30 seconds, and then I will show you the finished product. Be excited! And here is the finished product, my friends, and it is juicy. I will of course include the full recipe written out in the description box. I'll also include the macros as well. And what I want you to do for me is go and Instagram that shit, tweet it, and then tag me in it @roblipsett. Hope you enjoy this video. I'll be coming out with more recipes in the future. Until then, like, comment, subscribe. Thank you all for watching. So if you don't hear from me after this video, it's because Toltec have assassinated me due to me putting them out of business. Stay safe, everyone.
