Yo, what's up everyone? Vlog day 3. So I just spent my morning at the accountant's there, and it's so funny, it's like when you're doing daily vlogs, you can't be a slob. Like, I got so little sleep last night. I got to bed early, I just woke up really early, couldn't get back to sleep. So I'm like so tired right now. Went to the accountant's in like sweats. I spilled coffee on my sweats. Everyone's there in suits, and I just noticed I'm wearing like the same outfit as yesterday, just with sweats. I'm such a slob, like I'm not even shaved or anything. So like maybe in this video I'll also talk about like sleep and training. We're gonna soldier through today, but we'll do what we can. Um, so anyways, to feel a little bit fresher, me and Yaya, we're gonna start our day with, uh, some haircuts and then, you know, tidy yourselves up a little bit. So yeah, give the video a thumbs up. Welcome to day 3, let's do this!
The only way you're gonna work 15 hours a day for 25 years is 'cause it's your hobby. You don't do anything that much unless you fucking love it. And this is why so many people lose. They chase cash. Like, hard work is part of the equation.
This place has been cutting my hair for like the last year. It's probably the most loyal I've been to a barber's. And like, I actually like trying out different barbers, but they all get pissed off and they're like, you're cheating on me. But anyways, these are great guys in here, Choppers Barbers in Sandyford. So let's go in. I always like having a good chat with them as well. And yeah, yeah, I was getting sharpened up too. So right, let's go. Hey, it's good to see you, man. You well?
Happy New Year.
Sharp. Jeez, look at this.
Freshen up, baby.
This is the best waiting area for barbers ever. Why? Because look what they've got here. For when you're waiting on getting your hair cut, you can read Rob Lipsett's game plan. Oh my God, link in the description box.
What's the key to a fresh cut, Rob?
Get a good barber. That'd be good. Don't try to do it yourself. There's actually a video on my channel, it's 3 years ago at least, and it's me cutting my own hair. And like, I'm in the old house and I'm just like doing it myself and I'm like, yeah, yeah, this is great, love it. Oh my God, like some of the stuff that I used to record. Yeah, get a good barber, you know, go to the same one regularly, I guess. And it's like, you know, they get to know what you want. So I can sit down here and I don't even have to say what I want. But what do I get for the people that are watching?
You get a really high skin fade.
Really high skin fade.
Low length in the front and short around the crown.
There you go.
A nice texture.
That's it.
We just get emails where people are saying, what haircut does Rob Lipsett get? What blade is it, man? And then we send it out from the States. So they'll be like, my barber over here doesn't know how to do these haircuts.
It is. Yeah, you were just saying. I just said it's just the chopper special. That's all they have to have. You have to come to Dublin to get it. That's it. You have to come. He was saying that there's only 2 people that get it this high.
Yeah, you and Mark O'Dwyer.
Yeah, there we go, shout out to Mark.
Mark, yeah.
Man, this is one of the best cooks you've done. Yeah, the length and everything is perfect on it.
I'm on holidays at the moment, but if you get one of these, give me a ring or anything tomorrow, just give me a ring if you're unhappy with something or just give me a shout.
All right, cool, brilliant, cheers, thank you so much.
Okay, thanks, Rob.
All right, bye-bye. Sweet, so basically that's just Penguin, my publishers, I think I'm on the front cover of the newspaper tomorrow, or if not the COVID there's a big feature anyways. And they're just saying, you know, if anyone's talking crap about me, you know, how people respond to it, just how I should handle it. But yeah, overall it's going to be a really positive article, and I can't wait. Like, we're really pulling apart like everything, really. Like right now, I did a post yesterday on Instagram, and I was like, I've never been more motivated to literally be everywhere. Like, this month I'm going full Gary Vee mode. Podcasts, radio interviews, newspapers, everything, you know. Like, I'm like, did daily vlogs, you know, daily Instagram posts. Like, I'm just, I'm really in the mood to just bash out the content. And it's like, how long this will go on for, I don't know. But you know, I'm gonna ride the momentum. I'm gonna keep this going. So as I'm pumped up, uh, we're back in the apartment now. We're gonna chill out for a little bit, maybe, you know, set up a workstation and then slowly get ready for the gym and then go hit a pull day, one of my favorite days So we're going to hit some back, some biceps, and some traps. Yeah, so another coffee bed to go down. It's just one of those days. But to avoid the heart attack that is pretty much on its way, I sometimes combine decaf, a shot of decaf with a shot of normal coffee. That's how you know your caffeine addiction is real. So we're going to have a little bit of pre-workout here. I'm going to get dressed. I'm going to give Yaya some gym gear. He's gonna work out with me. I actually love sharing for the gym. I know Russ Swole does that too. You go in there feeling fresh. But we're gonna get dressed and then we're gonna go hit it.
This is the real deal.
The light blue ones are the decaf ones. The puss, puss boy ones. No better feeling than fresh Alphalete popping tags. Take a size medium in pretty much everything. And there is a launch coming up in January. So I forget the exact date and I'm not sure if it's actually been set yet. We've seen all the items and they should be arriving soon. They're very, very cool, so stay tuned on that. Uh, it's definitely going to be within the, you know, the 30 days of vlogging, so I'll do like a try-on haul or something for you guys.
So not only coffee, we're taking pre-workout as well.
Bro, bro, this is non-stimulant. This is non-stimulant, okay? No, I legit would have a heart attack by having more coffee. But, um, no, so these is what I kind of use if I'm training in the evening or if I just have too much caffeine. So pump product, get some blood in the muscles, get you all swelled up, and then just a good old creatine product, which creatine, the most researched supplement out there. So yeah, there we go. Discount code, link, blah blah, in description. But it's like, this isn't even like, it's not even a plug, it's just like I use these literally every day. We're talking about bashing out the content, okay, and how people, they make a big deal out of it and they make it a lot harder. Whereas you can do like, okay, one interview like yesterday, okay, and from that, I got this from Gary Vee, of course, and it's like, From that, you can get 6 pieces of content. Okay, so you sit down, you do a 30-minute interview. Okay, that goes on the radio. You record that, put it on your YouTube, you take 60 seconds from it, like your favorite part. You put like some subtitles to it. You make one of those little Instagram box videos. Okay, you put that on Twitter as well. It's like 5. Okay, you put a few clips on your Insta story. 6. Like, you can keep going. Put it on your website, put it on your blog. Okay. So you can do the same with a podcast, anything, a workout. You know, I can— like, what we're doing is we're taking these workouts and I'm like posting a little bit of it on my Instagram story and be like, yo, go to YouTube for the full workout. So what you need to do is when you're getting all this content, you need to spread it out. You know, it's like synergy. So make it easier for yourself and, you know, spread it out, make it work for you. So that's how we're planning on doing more content forever in these 30 days. And, uh, so that's the plan and it's working well. Back, biceps, traps done. Old school workout, you know, high volume, your classic exercises. I'm feeling good despite being so sleep deprived, right? We just, we just got through that, we got it done, and you're always glad afterwards once you do a workout that you don't want to do. Always glad. You never regret the workout that you get done. Anyways, right, so today's chat, okay, It's, it's on topic, right? So basically, today is the final day. If you follow me on Instagram, to register for my 30-day challenge. Today or tomorrow, as you're watching this, you still could have time. Anyway, so what I'm doing is I'm just getting loads of people, and the entry ticket is either, you know, the receipt of my book or a receipt of purchasing a plan on my app. Okay, that's the entry ticket. Okay, and basically you can win. I'm gonna pick one person who just really blows me away, who works really hard for the month of January, I'm gonna give them €2,000, okay? And so, you know, some of the other prizes are athlete clothing, you know, gym wear, like gym gear, belts, everything, Ghost Supplements, free coaching. I'm gonna give someone like free coaching for 6 months, or someone's free coaching for a year, you know, loads of prizes, okay? And, you know, this is to motivate people because I do want to— I have a goal, and it's to transform as many physiques as possible. I'm actually, I've eaten nothing today. I had no sleep last night. So we're going to get some food. And it was a grueling workout as well. It was a big workout. It was a high volume back, traps, and biceps workout. So we're going to have a little chit chat.
Just give me 10 minutes, right?
Into the car we go. Okay, food is on my mind. Food is on my mind in a major way. I want protein running through my veins. Now. Yes, look what just came on shuffle. Miami, going there in 3 days with some cool people, and it's gonna be an awesome trip. So you best believe I will be vlogging that. Um, I'm going solo. Sorry, next time. Yeah, I'm not hosting this trip. Yaya's about to cry here on camera. But, um, so I'm gonna be vlogging that myself, and then, um, Blaz is going to be helping me edit that footage. So we're still going with the daily vlogs, and, um, it's gonna be even easier because I'm with a lot of content creators on that trip. You know, you know Joey London. Yeah, you know him. You're getting the burger. You're getting the burger. You need to bulk up, man. You skinny motherfucker. Nah, I'm gonna mess you up great. You're fab the way you are. Me though, I'm getting the salad though because I went too hard over Christmas. I need to tidy things up a little bit. So yeah, I think I'm going for the roast sweet potato salad. So right, what's happening in rotisserie? Rotisserie? Rotisserie half chicken, grilled asparagus, and I'm gonna get more greens on the side. All about that vegetable life after New Year's and Christmas.
Do you want to talk about the challenge thing now? What are you saying?
I don't even know what the challenge is about right now myself. I need to eat and then we'll go over it. Yeah, see the rotisserie half chicken, grilled asparagus, and then gravy on the side. Gravy on the side? And then for the side, rocket and ricotta salad. It's like an ad for Diet Coke. I did a video a while ago actually, and like I was using like different products and stuff. I just like went to a hotel. It was like a Dubai video. And someone was like, oh, this whole video is like sponsored, it's an ad. Unless I say— I legally have to say this is sponsored video, which I did at the start of the video because it's for a watch. So I have to say that if it is. Most of them, I'm just being sound and just being like, I just use this product, I like it, it's the hotel I stay at, because you guys are going to ask anyways. So unless I say like, hey, this video is sponsored by such and such It's not sponsored, and it's just like me using it. Like, I swear to God, I can't drink a Diet Coke without people like, 'Sell out, you're sponsored by Diet Coke.' I'm just drinking Diet Coke. And this one, oh, it looks great. Thank you so much. Cheers. Oh baby, come here to me, come here to me. Yes, yes, yes. Okay, so we got half chicken going on here, and they just threw in this big old slice of bread, which like, I'm not going to even lie and say I'm not happy about that. I'm so happy to see that piece of bread. That piece of bread is my life right now. And then we got some greens and some ricotta cheese here and some gravy too. So I'm going to dig into this, we're going to enjoy. Supposed to get a meal, we're going to enjoy, and then I'll catch up with you guys outside. Take a moment to appreciate Yaya's burger. That chicken burger is on steroids. Like, what the hell? You have to take a bite off this one All right, hit me up, hit me up. This is not exactly part of the 30-day challenge, but we'll make it work. We'll incorporate it, man. Flexible dieting. Okay, so it's 10 out of 10. Yeah, that was unreal.
Take another bite.
No, no, don't do it.
No, no, no.
Walk and talk, baby.
Walking, talking, baby. So what could like a talking— Rob never said it again, he's just a loser. Hey, it was okay. So 30-day challenge, right? So I put it on my Instagram stories. If you follow me there @roblipsett, you'll know what's up. So basically it's just after Christmas and New Year's, especially in Ireland, you know, people partake in the festivities really hard. So I was like, I want to put together a challenge that we can all just, you know, clean things up a little bit, you know, tidy up, get in shape, get back in the gym and get people motivated. So whoever signs up to my app or buys my book, that is your entry ticket. And then whoever puts up, puts in some serious work for 30 days, I'm going to pick a few people to send prizes to. So one person's getting €2,000 in cash. Some people are getting free coaching for 6 months to a year. Some people are getting free Alpha Elite, Go Supplements, everything. Like the prizes, you know, I have to say they're really good. So I'm very excited to be doing that. And if you're watching this right now, you have like about a day left to sign up. Okay. So just go down, link is in the description box to hit that up. Here's the thing I got an issue with, right? So I said on my Instagram post, the reason I'm doing this is because I dream of transforming as many physiques as possible. It has been my goal since day one to get as many people into the gym as I possibly can, get people lifting weights and being more mindful of what they eat, improving people's self-confidence. Like, that's literally why I do it. So someone commented being like 'Oh, you're just doing this for money.' And it's like, of course I'm making a living from it, you know. Like, the accountant's meeting went amazing today, you know, things are going great. But that's honestly not why I do it. And people think that, like, the money is some evil thing, and people think you just do everything for money. And honestly, if you're chasing money, then that's what you're not gonna get. What you should be focusing on is building an amazing product, amazing service, an amazing community, and improving people's lives. If you're not improving people's lives, why the fuck would someone give you money? Like, it actually doesn't make sense. Like, there has to be a trade-off. It has to be mutually beneficial. Like, you're giving someone— someone's giving you their currency, so you need to give something back. So if you're just focusing on taking people's money— this is like real business advice— if you're just focusing on taking people's money, you're not gonna have a successful business. It's not going to last. So, you know, it was a negative comment, but it's like, whatever, you know, people can say if they want. But yeah, I'm comfortable. So I can honestly say that the reason I'm doing this, the reason I'm making all these videos, is not for money. It's just because I love doing what I'm doing. You can see me, I'm genuinely passionate about it. So, going off a little bit, but yeah, the challenge is amazing. The feedback's been so good. The feedback on these videos has been amazing, and I'm just fired up right now. Like just this whole month I'm just ready to absolutely crush it. So yeah, there's my little chat, little rant. That's it. Don't give Rob food or else— Yeah, yeah, man, you give this one guy some chicken and asparagus and he can talk for days.
So how are you finding the car so far?
I'm loving it. I've had it about 6 months. I got it just before summer, then I went traveling for summer, so I hardly got to drive it. And so now that I'm back in Ireland, like, in a consistent period, I'm loving it. And like, I couldn't really want any more. And it's like, you know, from time to time when you're doing a photo shoot or a collab, you end up driving like Ferraris and Lambos and stuff. And it's like, yeah, they're amazing, like, you know, but I'm not sure I'd like to drive one like every day. Like, you feel so tense in them. I say that now, who knows. But no, I am basically so content with this. I'm loving it. And I also got the wheels done and the brakes done. Recently enough, and that gave it that new car feel again. And then this month, or not even this month, this year anyways, let me show you what I want to do. Not exactly blocking it out, but getting it a little bit more grey, more matte, maybe change wheels a little bit, maybe leave them where they are. But yeah, if anyone knows some West Coast Customs in Dublin or even anywhere around that specializes in that, I also want to add some, a little bit of body kit to it. Nothing too outrageous, but just a little bit. Something like that. So yeah, I think that'd be badass. Free parking! What a time to be alive. Does this day get any better? Another successful day. Put it there. See you tomorrow.
See you tomorrow.
Same again. Keep it real. Oh yeah!
