My mama told me that I need to get up and I need to get my ass out the couch. She said if you ain't gonna get to this money, then you need to get your ass out the house. She said don't you come up in here without a plan, boy, without a check in your hand. I got the message, she was spread thin, so I had to expand. What's going on, guys? Welcome to today's video. We are on a mission to find London's best gym. Now yesterday we went to Equinox Kensington It's an amazing gym, but I need something with a bit more grit to it. I still might join there, by the way. I need something with a bit more grit to it and somewhere that's a bit more friendly for recording. So I hit up One London. We were emailing back and forth, and I'm just about to walk in now and try it out if we can find it. Uh, we are in Fulham. This is beautiful. So we're gonna go in, have a little chat, see what the sauce is with the recording, see what it's like equipment-wise, and yeah, continue the search for London's best gym. All right, people, I think we have found my mecca. Okay, I walk in, there's People recording over there. The place is super quiet. There's heavy weights, there's the right machines, everything. I'm just so relieved. Like, this is what I do. Like, this is what I do. So for me to find a gym within walking distance that allows recording, which is so rare in London, that's such a good atmosphere, super cool. I'm actually happier about this than the apartment. Today we're hitting chest, shoulders, triceps, and I'm just absolutely delighted. So anyways, let's get into the vlog. I think I found my London gym, but I'm still going to try a few more in the area. But yeah, I'm buzzing. It's all right, let's get into it. And to make it even better, okay, check this. Okay, no, like, I'm on the grind this year, I'm telling you. I'm uploading my moving to the UK video and the Wi-Fi is super fast. Like, if that's just not the cherry on top— look at this image. So anyways, we're uploading YouTube videos, we're hitting a weight session, life is good. All right, people, workout done, and it feels so good to have a gym set up here. That was honestly one of my main concerns because Mike, Mike Thurston, said he had a lot of trouble recording in gyms nearby. Just a huge weight off my shoulders, and I'm relieved. So the title, Searching for London's Best Gym, it still goes on. Maybe it'll be a series, but right now I think I found my base of operation. So post-workout there, I just had a little ready-to-go protein shake and a protein bar. Might have a meal now, we'll see. But I'm going out for a nice fancy dinner tonight to kind of like welcome me into London. Um, so I'm gonna dress up, show you what I'm wearing, and then we'll wrap up today's vlog. All right, so just back from the gym there, and I have a guess what this is because it says Bear Performance Nutrition on it. It is from fellow YouTube sensation Nick Bare, 25 Hours a Day, and well done on him writing a book. Oh my God, Rob, enjoy the book, man. Launch January 28th on Amazon. Nick, again, Nick is someone that I've been meaning to do a proper collab with in so long. So next time I'm in Texas, which I'm pretty sure I'm going to Texas in February to the Alpha Elite Gym, definitely going to hit up, um, Bare Performance Nutrition. So look at this, right? It's getting a place. Right here with myself, Gary Vee, and then we got Nick Bear. So any more book recommendations, hit me up. Looks great in the apartment. Oh man, I'm feeling so at home. I'm feeling great. I'm on top of the world. Right everybody, so another successful day living my new London life and found a new gym, which is just the biggest win ever. And also got some news today that I'll reveal in the next vlog. But anyways, we're gonna go out to dinner to a place called Hovarda. It's like Lebanese food or something. So anyways, I'm just going for something casual tonight. This is like a black cotton polo, and I'm sure you will see the food plastered all over my Instagram stories. So I'm starving, so I'm gonna go eat, and I'll see you guys tomorrow. Keep it real, peace. How do I look? Good? Yeah. London's best gym continues, okay? Woke up today feeling fresh. Honestly, just had the one. Honestly. Okay, so as you know, in a previous vlog, car got towed, okay? And I've been having a lot of problems with that. I love my car, the white Mercedes. It's amazing. I've driven Audi, BMW, Renault loads, okay? And Mercedes, that car in particular, never had a single problem with it. I love it, okay? But over here in the UK, it's caused me a lot of problems because it's an Irish reg. Up the Irish! Because it's an Irish reg, it can't get a residence permit. I like showed them my tenancy agreement, show them that I'm living here. So what I have to do is get a private parking space somewhere. It's gonna cost a lot. I think I'm gonna end up getting rid of my car. That'll be a nice little clickbait down the line. So in the meantime, we're gonna leave the car east with one of Linda's best friends, Joanna Kocha. She's actually in Ibiza with all of us, so maybe you've seen her in the vlogs. But she's got a parking space, we're gonna go there, and It is beside one of the most epic gyms in London. So the search for an epic gym continues. So I'm definitely gonna try and get a lift in as well. We also got people coming to install the Wi-Fi at 1 PM today. So we gotta go fast. It's like 10 AM right now. Then we gotta drive east. So another action-packed day. Give video a thumbs up, subscribe. Let's get into it. All right, so we are having a quick little shreddy breakfast just before we go. Before we go, but Wi-Fi actually came early, so it's getting set up right now. So we can go to the gym, take our time. I'm absolutely delighted, but I'm gonna start breakfast. Okay, egg whites, mixed veggies, and then I prepped a load of chicken. I'm not gonna eat that all now, that's like for throughout the day or tomorrow, whatever. So yeah, egg white chicken omelette, gonna be amazing. And then, oh, and also sort the fucking car situation out. So hungry. Mmm. Alright, so you can make an omelette that's all presentable and stuff, but you know we keep it real on this channel, and so it's like the same thing, tastes the exact same, cooks way faster if you just kind of scramble it up. So what are we going to call this? This recipe. Cooking with Lip, cooking with Lip. This is called the chicken and egg scramble. That's a genius name because that's exactly what it is. So yeah, mixed veggies, chicken breasts, and egg whites. Super high protein. It's kind of like my tuna and egg whites meal. And then I'm going to put a little bit of hot sauce on top of that. When I told the property company that I got my place off about the car situation, They were so nice about it, and one of the guys that worked there actually says I can actually use his own parking space in his own actual house, which was like just so nice. Like, it was such a personal touch. But so it's just down the road from where I am. So anyways, we're going to drive this east to the store and then Yeah, look at this! Scared? Wait, pick him up. He loves to run around. He's so small. So we have sorted out the car situation thanks to this queen right here. And there you actually are, the parking angel. Thankfully it lives to see another day. And we also have a Chihuahua in the vlog now. So the vlog— it's not a Chihuahua, it's a Russian Toy Terrier. Russian Toy Terrier. I'll introduce them. This is Ollie. There we go. How cute is he? Look at the size of him. That— he's like a little pea head. Yeah. Joanna also has a YouTube channel. That's— she needs to get going again. Yeah, I do. 2020 is the year. Very different than Rob, but still good. Yeah, maybe better, man. Probably better. Okay, so, uh, we have stored the car, so that is one problem sorted out. And now we're getting the tube. Oh no, train. It's a train. Okay, I'm still getting used to this. People from London are probably watching this, seeing me get so excited over getting a train, and they're like, what the hell? Train should Shoreditch. We're going to Box Park, might get a haircut. There's a gym nearby, it's going to be really cool, it's called Muscle Works. You get some food and yeah, just have a great day. All right, so here is somewhere I've never been before in my life. Okay, literally just saw this, amazing. So we're in a place called Box Park in Shoreditch, it's super cool, super nice, and there's loads of pop-ups here. So now we're gonna look for a place for me to get my hair cut and then also go get something to eat. But oh my God, it's so cool. It's a beautiful day, and yeah, I'm just loving my new London life. I'm gonna probably say that for the whole year, my new London life. All right, so just finished up in the barber's there, and I just This London move is just going too well. I feel like just everyone's on my side, okay? Everyone's like, Rob, Rob! So I walked in the barber there and the social media manager comes in, he's like, hey, I've seen your YouTube videos, how about a free cut on the house? Massage, everything, the lot. So fresh. So I've got my gym sorted, my barber sorted, the apartment. I'm just high on life right now. I'm I just can't believe how well things are going. So we're gonna get a little bit of food to eat now, and then we're gonna try out the bodybuilding gyms, like a hardcore gym. I think it's called Muscle Works. It's east. So while I'm out here, I really want to try it out. So yeah, sick vlogging coming, good vibes as always. So we are in a place called Flatiron. Like the name suggests, it serves flat iron steaks. So, so it's very good. We have a lot of veggies here, the salad, the beans, more salad. This is our best London life, very healthy. So yeah, we're gonna eat this now and then we're gonna walk to the gym. It's about a 15-minute walk. You walk so much in London, it's actually insane, and it's great. It's like, it's like making me do so much more cardio. But anyways, see you guys in the gym. Let's kill it, people. So gym of the day is gonna be Muscle Works gym. It looks absolutely badass, as you you know I love trying out new gyms. And if you're lacking a bit of motivation, sometimes change up your workout or change up your gym. Or in my case, where I needed a bit of life motivation, I changed up my environment completely. So anyways, I'm looking forward to getting stuck in here. Let's go! What's going on everyone, welcome to today's pull workout. First of all, can we smash the thumbs up button for this godly downlighting? Oh my days. But anyways, I thought I would take a second to update you guys on what the plan is for my training, my diet, and the upcoming months in terms of travel routine, what I'm up to. So basically, January, February, I'm gonna enjoy myself. I'm gonna settle into London, got a few trips planned as well. Gonna be in a slight deficit, you know, keep things sharp. I'm still gonna eat out and enjoy myself, but I want to be in a good starting position for March, April, May, because that is when I'm doing an extreme cut. I'm gonna get into my best condition I've ever been in, so stay tuned for that. But yeah, so January and February will be, you know, I'll be training hard, be mindful of everything, but I will be cutting down just very slowly just to be in the best position I can be in March. Even in March, April, May, I'm gonna kind of make it a priority to stay put and avoid travel as much as I possibly can because, you know, I got so much tips and tricks on how to stay on track when traveling around, but nothing beats just consistency, staying at home, getting your 8 hours sleep per night and living like a monk. So yeah, that's current plans for next couple of months. Hope you're enjoying the video. I'll see you in the next clip. All right, people, so post-workout meal. We are just going to simply take a macro meal from Pam, and we're going to add some of the chicken that we prepped earlier because we hit our protein intake on this channel. And then we're going to wind up the vlog. All right, guys, finishing up there. I think this is going to be a series Finding London's Best Bodybuilding Gyms. If you have any gyms that you recommend or you want me to come down to, please drop a comment down below. But someone just asked me on Instagram there, Rob, how do you find kind of non-commercial gyms in London or a big city? You know, I'm struggling to find places that cater towards lifters. And my top piece of advice for that is obviously Google search Google search bodybuilding gyms, because most commercial gyms don't actually want to be associated with the word bodybuilding. You know, the general population doesn't want to do that. The general population just want to like tone up and stay in shape, which is absolutely fine. So if you put the word bodybuilding in, you're gonna find a lot more. And also, if you look for ones that don't have many locations, or if you look for ones that have unique names, like for example Muscle Works, you know, that just isn't gonna be a commercial gym. I dream of a day when one day Muscle Works is the general go-to for commercial gyms. That's just not the case. Google Maps as well, you can see, you can sort gyms by distance, what's near you, what's in your radius. And again, just do your homework and you'll find a decent gym. I truly do believe there is good gyms no matter where you go to. Um, so no excuses. Finish up the vlog here. Thank you so much, guys. I'll see you in the next one. Keep it real.
