Rob Lipsett: Full Day Of Eating | Home Cooked Bodybuilding Meals

Rob Lipsett makes an avocado toast breakfast he fell in love with in Australia, using guacamole, seasoned chicken, and poached eggs from Whole Foods. Whole Foods sent him a gift card and praised his content, though he emphasizes the video isn't sponsored.
What's going on, guys?
Welcome to today's full day of eating. Today I'm going to be going through what my diet is like at the moment and also cooking some of my favorite recipes. What we're starting off with is actually avo toast. I got addicted to this when I traveled around Australia last February with Joey D. I think we had for breakfast Nearly every day, and it's also getting so popular in all the restaurants right here. So I'm gonna try my best to replicate it, okay? Bear with me. Could go horribly wrong, could nail it. We're just gonna have to wait and see. Another thing I want to talk about is, guys, thanks for the love on the last video. I found it really interesting. The support on it is great. And get this, Whole Foods saw the video and sent me an email. Not only did they say they love the video despite me, you know, being a bit tongue-in-cheek at some moments, but they actually sent me out a gift card for what I got in store. I just cannot believe it. Whoever is doing their marketing deserves a raise immediately. So not only did they see the video, they replied to it, they love it, but they actually broke down the prices behind everything and gave great explanations on why it costs what it does cost. And I have to say, the food does taste amazing. So fair play to Whole Foods. This video is not sponsored by Whole Foods. They didn't even ask me to say this, which I thought was really cool as well. So I'm really impressed at whoever's doing their marketing and the company me in general. So well done to that, they got a customer for life right here. I also think it is just fair to mention that all the foods I'm using today is from Whole Foods. So yeah, shout out to Whole Foods, new friends of the channel. So anyways, I'm starving, it's breakfast time, let's get cracking on this. No pun intended. First things first, let's make the guac. Cut your avocado in half, scoop it out with a spoon and stick it in a bowl. Add in a generous squeeze of lime, then season with some black pepper and chili flakes. Next up, season your chicken breasts and have them cooking alongside on a pan. If you want them to cook fast, slice them in half. I like to cook the bread on the pan as it makes it look like I know what I'm doing. Okay, so we got our guac made, our chicken breasts are being cooked, and then we are going to toast the bread on a pan because we're fancy, we're chefs now. And also, what you do is when it's in the pan, you put a little bit of balsamic on it a little bit of oil on it, and it just gives it this unbelievable taste that comes out in the eggs. So that's what we're going to do next. Also found these bad boys in Whole Foods, poachies. Never seen them before in my life, but basically perfect poached eggs every time. Sounds like I'm doing an infomercial. Basically, I didn't know how to poach an egg before, and I made these last night and it actually came out perfect. So let's hope I can replicate that again. So you just put it in the glass and then just crack it in and then just throw it in a pot of boiling water. Okay, moment of truth. So it says the second—
fucked up. That was a good one.
Okay, so we got the guac made, the poached eggs are getting poached, chicken breasts are cooking away there. So now last but not least, let's get this bread. Why I'm gonna start making this at home is one, avo toast when you go into a restaurant, you gotta take out a mortgage for that shit. And if you got a craving for like a certain recipe like this, it's always going to be the better option to just cook it at home yourself. And it's fun to cook. So yeah, this is nearly all done. What's left is just the bread. Oh, you gotta put the balsamic on it. I personally, I like a lot of balsamic on it. Okay. And that just makes the kitchen smell so good. So, alright, this is it. Look, this is the 4 ingredients. Then when this is all done, we're gonna add some low-fat feta cheese to it. So yeah, see you in the next clip. With a nice beautiful plate of avo toast. Alright guys, so this is meal number 1. I'm gonna put the macros and calories on the screen, but keep in mind you can really play around with this meal if you're bulking, cutting, or whatever. So if you want to add more carbs to it, add 2 slices of bread. More fats, add 2 eggs. More protein, another chicken breast. Less protein, take the chicken breast away. It's a really easy meal to kind of play around with and be flexible with. So I'm very hungry now. I'm going to eat this. I'm going to enjoy. And I'll see you at the next clip. I almost forgot to complete the meal. Consume with 1 bottle of Hipster Juice. Alright people, so I'm going to put on some pants. That would be a good start to the vlog. These are the Army Identity Joggers. As you can see, I wear— these are the army colors. As you can see, I wear the bottoms nice and fitted, tight on the calves. If you're picking anything up, I'd really appreciate if you use the code Lipsett. The link is in the description box. I do not get any commission off this, it just reflects well on me and the company. And so yeah, I'm sure you all saw the big Alphaland video that Christian posted. 2020 is going to be an absolutely huge year, and I can't wait to be part of it. Now we're heading off to the gym, so let's go. All right, my friends, quick upper body workout in here. I want this video to mainly focus on diet and meals, but regardless, here are a few movements I did that day. I'm also trying out a few different splits and routines before deciding on the one I will stick with for my competition prep. I'm thinking legs, push, pull, legs, push, pull as usual, or even a 5-day split That allows me to have a little bit more rest. I'll be legs, push-pull, upper, lower. Either way, next week I'll break out the whiteboard and go through everything. I'll also include a good old physique update in this video too. Been a while since I've done one of them, and most people will look at these clips and say, "Oh Rob, you're already lean," or "You should bulk up," and say, "You're so small, you're too skinny, bro." When you're getting properly shredded, first of all, it takes a long time. It takes a lot longer to go from 10% to 8% rather than 15% to 12%. The leaner you are, the harder it is to get even leaner. Secondly, the leaner you are, the bigger you look. Your muscles start to pop, you get that vascularity coming in, your waist gets smaller, which makes your shoulders, your chest, and your back look wider. So if you want to look 10 pounds bigger, lose 10 pounds. Either way, this is where we are at. Solid session. Back to the full day of eating. Guys, I'm back from the gym and we have a special delivery. Um, I actually have a very Special delivery outside. I'm gonna bring it in in a second, but we just got this as well. This is from 2 Chicks. They saw the last video and then they sent out this package. So that last video, the Whole Foods haul, was the best thing I ever did, for real. Let's just open up these egg whites for days. Alright, so the post-workout meal is gonna be a classic with a bit extra thrown in, and I call this my loaded protein oat bowl. Ingredients shall be oats, protein powder of your choice— of course I use Ghost— Greek yogurt— I like to go for the non-fat version, save some macros— almond butter, blueberries, banana. This is a really nutrient-dense, delicious, high-fiber meal and literally takes 5 minutes to make. If you can't make this, then good luck in life. First of all, add your oats into a bowl. Anywhere from 60 to 100 grams is a good amount. Depending on how much carbs you want the meal to have. Next, add in a scoop of protein, 2 scoops if you're feeling crazy. Now this is an important part. Before pouring in the boiling water, mix the oats and the protein together so they're evenly dispersed. After that, add in about a cup of boiling water. The amount of water you add in will depend on how you like the consistency of the oats. Personally, I don't add in too much as I don't like the oats be too watery. After this, stir it up in the bowl with a spoon until it is completely mixed together. Now you have the base of the protein oat bowl, and you can play around with a few different toppings here— different fruits, different nut butters. I've even been known to chuck a protein bar in there. Go wild, man. Get creative. Fucking let loose. After this, you're gonna be left with what can only be described as a work of art in a bowl. So enjoy. Now what we're gonna do is add the toppings, okay? So basically, usually I will just chuck a everything in, but I'm gonna try like make this picturesque. First, let's do the banana. We're pretty much in Bali, that's how good that bowl looks. Next, what you want to do is get some Greek yogurt, nonfat, really high in protein. Dollop that right on top. Yeah, drizzle some almond butter. Oh my God, like who knew a bowl of oats could be so exciting? That's like full YouTube mode. It's like if you can make a bowl of oats exciting You're a good YouTuber. All right, so that's the finished product. Absolutely amazing. Pretty high carb, but again, you know, it's kind of flexible like the breakfast. You're bulking up, you want more carbs, add another banana, more oats, whatever. You want more protein, add an extra scoop of protein, add more Greek yogurt. So as I'm gonna eat this, and then we got a few bits to do in the city center. But yeah, if you want a discount code for the Ghost Protein I use, milk chocolate flavor is the best by far in my opinion. Make those chocolate protein oats. Code is Lipsett, L-I-P-S-E-T-T, 20% off your whole entire order. Link in the description box. See you later. All right everyone, it is a fucking unnecessarily large whiteboard. We went on Amazon, I was like, all right, you know, for my prep videos, like I'm obviously he's putting out way more videos these days. Gotta have a whiteboard. I'm very like, kind of like visual person. Like when I have something in front of me, I can explain it a lot better. But yeah, this thing is absolutely huge. That's great though. Now we just gotta figure out where to put it. Maybe like right here. What do you guys think? Perfect. Glad you all agree. See, like it just said the measurements and I was like, ah, I'll just choose the biggest one. So after I got over the excitement of the new whiteboard and ran a few errands, I got down to the final meal of the day. I decided on some lean diced steak, a big veggie stir-fry consisting of mixed peppers, broccoli, and some peas. Then for a bit of carb, we have some sweet potato fries. This meal is quite self-explanatory and could actually be simpler than the protein oat bowl. So if you mess this one up, you're even more of an idiot than if you mess up the protein oat bowl. Remember, if someone like me can make these meals, so can you. Put your steak in a pan, season it, and keep mixing around like a stir-fry. As soon as the beef is diced up, it will cook quite quickly. Same goes for the veggies. For the sweet potato fries, you want to chop these up thin and spray them with a bit of cooking oil and put them in the oven for about 20 minutes. Just keep an eye on them and make sure the house doesn't burn down. After that, you're pretty much good to go. Put them all on a plate and add whatever sauce or seasoning you like. I always have some salsa with this as it adds a lot of flavor and is fairly low-cal and macro-friendly. Typically, I have about 3 square meals a day like the ones you've seen in this video, along with a shake and a protein bar for snacks. I hope you enjoyed this video and got some meal inspiration from it. Let's finish it off. Alright guys, like I said at the start of the video, Whole Foods said they loved my Whole Foods grocery haul. I can't believe it. Like, they must be so on the ball. Like, they messaged me within a day of it going live. Like, honestly, I'm so delighted. I'm buzzing with it. Again, video not sponsored by Whole Foods. They didn't even ask me to mention this. I just thought it was like super cool that a company that is that big saw my video and messaged me about it, and on top of that gave me a big goodie bag. Here's some more shopping adventures at Whole Foods Market. Enjoy, the marketing team. Hell yes. No! Oh my God. This is for the new Cooking with Lip videos. I'm part of the crew. That is unbelievable. Just like what I said in the vlog, I was like, oh God, you know, Whole Foods hit me up with that gift card. They actually gone and done it. Like, I'm super impressed. Not one, not two, not three, not four— five gift cards! I am buzzing! How many packs of sushi am I gonna get? How many bottles of kombucha am I gonna get? Too many, that's the answer. Um, okay, I think this is a perfect point to finish off this vlog. I hope you enjoyed it. Um, so first thing, real classic Lipsetti vlog, you know, full day of eating and training. Cooking. But I hope this helps you come up with some recipes. I hope it encourages more people to cook a meal at home, eat a healthy meal, keep track of their nutrition a little bit, and hit the gym. As that is why I started this channel, it is to motivate and get more people into fitness and start living this fitness lifestyle, as it is the best lifestyle in my opinion. So that's it. I hope you enjoyed it because I enjoyed making it. Good vibes, have an amazing day, and sending some positivity your way. Keep it real, man. Here, peace. Whole Foods king!
