Rob Lipsett | Full Day Of Eating And Training | 3,000 Calories

In this vlog, fitness creator Rob Lipsett walks viewers through a typical quarantine day, blending personal motivation, nutrition, and home training. He begins with a ginger shot and outlines his goal‑oriented mindset before tackling admin work and a Zoom call about updating his fitness‑trainer app. Breakfast consists of lean bacon and egg whites, followed by a brief outdoor workout. Throughout the day he documents coffee choices, reviews the Ghost Gamer pre‑workout, and shares a full‑body home routine adapted to limited equipment. Mid‑day he walks around Hyde Park and Regent’s Park, stops for an iced cappuccino, and later eats a Whole Foods poke bowl with steak and goat‑cheese salad. He explains his nutrition strategy: 2,800‑3,000 kcal, ~200 g protein, low‑carb, maintenance calories to preserve muscle during gym closures. Evening meals include an Ampex chili‑beef with sweet potatoes and a frozen‑yogurt snack, with macro tracking shown on screen. Interspersed are product mentions (Zen Zero, RoboVac, Ghost Gamer), personal reflections on gym closures, and a DIY leggings‑to‑shorts project by his partner Linda. The vlog ends with a reminder to stay positive, maintain health during the pandemic, and a promise of future content.

Yo, what's going on everyone? Just woke up, it's about 7 AM. I don't want to wake Linda. Basically, I've been trying to vlog all week. Haven't really been feeling myself. I ended up like deleting 2 vlogs that I had like edited up. I'm very like goals orientated, so like I need like an event or a goal to work towards or else like I feel kind of off a little bit. But today I'm not going to overcomplicate things. I'm just going to do what I do best, do what you guys love, which is like a full day of eating and training. Even if there's quarantine going on. So, yeah, that's what I'm just gonna do. I'm not gonna have breakfast just yet. I'm gonna just have a little ginger shot from a company that's actually based not too far from here. Lemon, ginger, agave, and cayenne. People always make funny faces when they do this. I think they're kind of nice and refreshing. Ooh, that is that spicy, spicy one. Ooh. So I'm gonna chill out, get some emails and admin done for the next 2 hours, and then I got a Zoom call. I also got like a big decision to make today. So yeah, stick with me, give the video a thumbs up. Let's get into the vlog. How I eat and train during quarantine. You know what, I'm just gonna have one of these now. Right, I think Zen Zero. It's gonna be the one we're going for. Then for breakfast, we're gonna have some bacon and some egg whites. So I'm gonna sit myself down here with a juice, get some bits done. See you in about an hour. All right, people, so next up on today's to-do list is we have a Zoom call. I'm sure anyone who's running an online business or any business for that matter is just flat out on the Zoom calls right now. I'm pretty sure Zoom share stocks have like skyrocketed since the pandemic, so well done to them. Right, so it's a lot of stuff that I can't really like show on camera because I want to surprise you guys, but it is all for you, the viewers. Um, so maybe I'll include some snippets of the conversation or a time lapse or something, but either way, I'm going to go click the link. Alright, so that is Zoom call finished. That is about updating my app. I want to impact as many people positively around the world as possible. I said that in my first ever video. This is a way for me to do it. And also I'm bringing in something that's going to help other personal trainers, other people in the fitness industry scale their business, make it a lot more streamlined as well. So more to come on that. But yeah, It is coming up to 10 o'clock now, so I'm going to have my first proper meal of the day. Alright people, so first meal of the day, 10 AM, I'm very hungry. Oh, and by the way, got a new pan. There are few things in life that make me happier than a fresh pan. But so for breakfast, it's going to be the usual, something low carb, high protein, that's what I like in the morning. It's going to be some lean bacon medallions. Some egg whites. You know, I love egg whites. So yeah, we're gonna put this all together. It's gonna be really high protein, it's gonna be delicious. We're gonna eat that and then do a little home workout outside. It's not the best day today. It was crazy hot yesterday. It was warmer in London than it was in Ibiza for the last 2 days, so that's been great. I've just been working out in the sun, just doing some little kind of, you know, outdoor park workouts. Right, let's put together this meal. So we got We got 330 grams of egg whites cooking away here. We got the bacon getting grilled in there. Oh, that's steamy. So that's all doing its thing and I'll show you the finished product shortly. Excited. All right, so that is meal 1 of the day. Got some Sriracha sauce to go with it. But yeah, pretty basic, just egg whites and some lean bacon. Bit of cracked black pepper on that as well. So yeah, looks delish. All right, so next up I am going to continue to work on my laptop for a little bit. Gonna have kind of Diet Coke and a protein bar. Then gonna go for a walk, probably grab like some pre-workout, be it some coffee or kind of Monster or even some Ghost when I get home. But yeah, I like to go for a walk around midday, helps digest a little bit before hitting my workout and kind of gets me warmed up, so. All right, so we're just walking down to get some coffee. Big decision to be made right now. Do I get an iced coffee or do I just get a normal coffee? Is it warm enough for an iced coffee? Is it cold enough for a warm coffee? Who knows? You're just gonna have to keep watching the video to tune in and see what happens. Exciting times in quarantine. Alright, so this is the best iced coffee we've found in the area. It's from a place called Güllümay. I could be saying that wrong, correct me if I'm wrong. It's just down the road from us and it's so good. So I got skim milk and an iced cappuccino, that's my order, with one sweetener in it. In it as well. It's just really satisfying, helps with appetite. Of course, got caffeine in it as well, so it's a good pre-workout. Yeah, so we're gonna have this now, go for a little walk around Hyde Park maybe, or just around the streets, and then get a little homework out in. So see you then. All right, so just back from getting coffee. By the way, RoboVac update: still absolutely love it, still one of the best things I've ever bought in my entire life. By the way, today I'm just recording on my little Sony RX. This is a flip cam thing here, just because it's kind of a casual vlog, and I like when to do when I record something on one camera, I like to keep it on the whole camera, um, which kind of makes it easier to import. So the coffee is great, but I've still been dying to try a new product from Ghost, and it's called Ghost Gamer, and it's actually like targeted towards the gaming industry, so people who are like playing like long bouts of Call of Duty and everything, which I think is really cool that Ghost would be breaking into that industry. I'm going to take it for my workout though. Again, I know I just had a coffee, but I need a little extra kick up the ass today, and I just want to try it out. If you think that every day, oh, I'm going to be motivated to do home workouts, oh, I'm going to be motivated to stick to my diet, that is not the case whatsoever. Um, I think going to the gym and having other people there and being in an environment can be very, very motivating. And I think working out on your own can be a little bit difficult, even though in the gym I train on my own. Having other people and seeing other people work out and go hard motivates me. So I find it definitely more difficult to get in the zone with these home workouts, but we're still just getting it done. And yeah, I don't think I've lost like mad amounts of progress. I'm— nothing that I can't get back within a week or two of the gym. So anyways, right, this is a fresh tub here. I'll do a little review now. Always, always put ice cubes in your pre-workout. It makes it so much better. So this is peach flavor, smells great. And again, this has a load of nootropics in it, which is kind of like a world that I'm new to. Okay, so I think peach may just be my new favorite over spicy pineapple margarita. That's, uh, that was my current favorite. But yes, as you can tell, I like the weird flavors, right? So I'm gonna drink this now, start warming up, and then let's get into it. All right, so workout done. Again, it's a good full body workout, getting compound movement to hit every muscle part, and I actually kind of figured out on that exercise there, the incline, that if I double up this thing, takes it higher off the ground, so it's going to hit my chest a little bit more. I do have a bench on the way, which will be like the last piece of the puzzle in terms of this gym setup. But yeah, for now, that's what I'm working with. But yeah, really good workout. Again, it's super hot today, you can probably see from my sweat. Usually I'd, um, work out without a top on, but I don't want to do that to YouTube right now. There's there's not much to see really. But so now we're gonna go for another walk and enjoy the good weather, and then we'll go make a bit of lunch. So yeah, hope you're enjoying my quarantine day. I know it's not too spectacular, but it is what it is. Christian, if you're watching this, I'm sorry. Linda has decided to do a little DIY fashion because it's getting hot out. She's turning these Alphalete leggings into shorts. That is some precision cutting. Wow, this might actually work. Show you the end result in the next clip. All right, people, this is the result. Comment down below, what do you think? Did Linda do a good job? Okay, you can stop shaking your ass now, we get it, it looks good. Maybe I'll try that with my joggers, maybe not. It might not have the same effect, my glutes might not look as good, right? So heading out on our walk now, and I'm gonna bring an apple with me. I'm not sure if this counts as a meal. I'm not sure if you need a recipe for this. Either way, this is what I'm eating next. It's a full day of eating, so I gotta show it. All right, so we've been walking for about an hour now and we are in Regents Park. Again, it's another beautiful day. This is the first time I've ever actually been in this park. So one thing I do when I need to get my steps in, I just pick a place in London that I haven't been to in Google Maps that usually takes me an hour to walk to. I just pick there, put it in, and then walk back. So you get to see the city, get steps in, and yeah, it's absolutely beautiful. Look at everyone having, having their social distance picnics. Beautiful. So we're going to keep on walking. I think there's a Whole Foods around here as well, so you can get some lunch and then walk back. All right, so we've been walking for an hour and got pretty hungry, so we hit up Whole Foods. I got a poke bowl, a huge bowl of broccoli and sesame, and I got some steak there and a goat's cheese salad. This looks absolutely amazing, so we're going to eat this and it's going to be back another hour's walk home. So yeah, enjoy. All right, people, so just picking up the vlog. It's about 9 PM now, just about to have my last meal of the day. Such a nice time of day. I love the start of the day and the end of the day, very relaxing. But I just realized I haven't told you about my nutrition and training and kind of what my plan is for the coming months and what I'm kind of doing in this video. So basically, sit down on the couch here now. So basically, I'm eating around maintenance calories, between 2,800 to 3,000 calories. When I eat that amount, usually my body weight stays the same. And the reason I'm eating that amount— I'm not cutting, I'm not bulking— I went over this slightly in past videos, but it's because I don't have access to a gym. So if I do a cut now, it's not going to be very successful. If I do a bulk now, I'm not going to build any muscle without heavy weights, okay? I've been training many years, it's just not going to happen, okay? So right now, the goal is just keep things ticking over, preserve what I have, and most of all Stay fit and healthy because there's a World Health Challenge going on. There's a pandemic and your health is very, very important. There's lots of studies showing now that people who, you know, have underlying conditions, people who don't look after their health, are more likely to get, you know, coronavirus. And it's, it's obvious, just saying the obvious here, to look after your health. You should always do this whether there's a pandemic or not. So yeah, I'm eating about 2,800 to 3,000 calories per day. I'm just spitting out my totals here, hitting around 200 grams of protein and trying to get in lots of veggies per day. Some days I don't, so some days my eating is so bad. Um, but yeah, I'm doing my best. And then for the training, again, just doing what I can, mainly full body, trying to do as much compound movements as possible, and I'm getting a lot of steps in as well. And I've started going for jogs too, so getting that cardio going again. Good focus on health. So that's basically it. I cannot wait for gyms to open up again. I really do miss them. And it's annoying because it's like, you know, in Ireland it's like we're told August 10th is when gyms are going to open up again, but in the UK we don't really know. And I just really want to know a date. That's all. Like, that's all. And then I'd have something to work towards and something like, you know, an end in sight. Right now we don't have that. So it's very uncertain times. Yeah, we just got to all do our best, really. Right, so final main meal about to go down. Like I said, this is kind of my main meal, like my dinner, and then I'm going to have a little pre-bed snack after that as well. So what we're going to do is is we're gonna have one of these prep meals. It's from Ampex. It's actually an Irish company, but they deliver to London, UK as well. So having one of them, that is sweet potatoes and some chili beef, and then I'm gonna add even more beef to it, increase the protein intake. So I'm gonna have about half that pack of mince. Just gonna stir it all together and it's gonna be great. So there is the meal, there is the beef that I've cooked, and I'm just gonna throw this on there because I don't care if it looks fancy or doesn't look fancy. This is just what I'm eating today and I'm showing you guys. So, so, gonna turn the heat back up and I'm gonna kind of separate these a little bit so they kind of cook a little bit and they get kind of like crispy. And then the flavored chili beef, you kind of mix it with the extra protein that you added to it so it gives that a little bit of flavor as well. So beef and sweet potatoes for dinner, that's it. Alright, so I did it again. I ordered frozen yogurt. I had about 800 calories left to hit. I hit my protein intake, so I just had some carbs and fats. I was gonna go for something like oats, but I'm like, you know what, let's make it exciting. Let's order some frozen yogurt. They deliver it to your house, and then you put your own toppings on because they give you toppings and little cups. It's amazing. So should be here in about 5 or 10 minutes. I've already calculated it. In MyFitnessPal. So we're gonna hit 2,800 calories nicely, and I'll put the macros on the screen. So yeah, it's gonna be a nice little way to finish off the day, and we can watch some Ozark as well. We're on season 2. I'm going in between that and the Michael Jordan documentary. Both great. All right, all right, so here we go. It is the final meal of the day. What a way to finish off the day. Okay, we got our fro-yo delivered. You choose your base and then your toppings. So I went kind of healthy. I got some Got some blueberries, some raspberries, little bit of milk chocolate, 'cause live a little, the world's ending, who cares? And then some milk chocolate crunch sauce, this stuff is amazing. And there you go. So that's the final meal of the day. We are gonna stick on Ozark now, I think. And I'm gonna finish up and leave you guys here. I just wanna say thank you so much for watching today's video. I know it's not spectacular, it's nothing amazing, but hopefully you enjoyed it. And so yeah, that's what I got up to today. This is what most days are like for me in quarantine. And key thing is just so we all stay positive, keep hanging in there, keep doing our best every single day, and that's it. So I'll see you in the next video. Keep it real, I'm out here. Peace.
