Alright, so we're on the way to convention center and we're getting the best treatment ever. As you can see, Myprotein got us a limousine. So we're all, we're all really comfy. You can't even see that. There's another guy there. Yeah. So yeah, we're getting the 5-star treatment. Myprotein booth. Let's go. Just got our bands there, walking in now. Look at that queue. That's crazy. All right, so this is pretty cool. We got LiveFit right there. There's the MyProtein booth. Stance, Cellucor, bench press so we can get a midway pump on. This is like, um, one of my favorite parts at any expo, even though I've only been to one before, and it's before everyone comes in. You just get to walk around and kind of take everything in while there's no crowds. Got Alphalete. There's Jovan and Tim. What's going on, fellas? Hey, there he is! What's up, buddy? You well? Great to see you. All right, so I'm here with Germany's greatest rapper, Alon, and he's about to drop some bars because we're just talking about his rap career.
Give me a little bit, but in German, bro.
Yeah, yeah, give us the German one. Fun. Give us a verse. Yeah.
Oh, meine Muskelfasern werden wiederholungsbrauch. Hole eine Dose mit Aminosäuren auf.
It's quality, it's quality. So a good friend of mine just came up, grabbed my ass, which I'm totally cool with. It is Travis S. What is up, guys? Friend of the channel. I encourage everyone to go over, check out his stuff. He is like the king of food porn, the king of deadlifts. Gotta be good for something. Yeah, I don't know about deadlifts. I know, you're stronger than me anyways. But seriously, go check his channel out. It's so cool to actually finally get to meet people that you always talk to online. That's the kind of thing I like about these apps. It's been a long time coming, man. It's about time. Yeah, it really has. So me and Alan, we're just on our break. Pretty scary where we are. And a casual, casually Jake Cutler drives by. What a nice bloke. But yeah, so we're just on a break and we're just talking about if you could survive that fall. Pretty trippy. But, uh, so we're gonna catch some air out here, chill out for a bit, have the chats, and head back inside. So these guys, right, say hi. Hi, what are your names? Andy, Kevin, and they are like entrepreneurs. They're starting their own company, knee sleeves. What is it? Primal Elite. So they hooked me up with a pair of knee sleeves. It's really inspirational to see guys saying like, you know, my videos inspired them to go out and, you know, achieve what they want to do and, you know, start their own business. So awesome, guys. I appreciate it. Thanks for Rob, dude. Cookies! And you can watch me DJ at all these clubs in Las Vegas. Give us a flex, bro.
He looks good, man.
All right, so me and the fellas, we're gonna get something to eat right outside the Staples Center. It's pretty cool. We got Alan. Hey, you want to try Smashburger? Yeah, I'll smash your burger. Uh, so yeah, we're gonna go smash some burgers. Smash my burger. We are starving. You probably hear like the day is starting to take its toll on me. It's so tiring like trying to— but obviously I love meeting all the people, but like speak over the and stuff like that, but it's honestly, it's a great feeling when someone comes up to you and tells you that, you know, you made a positive impact. Nobody care, man. Alright, I went for a chicken burger with 3 patties because we on that protein time. How much protein is in that? All of the protein. Alan went for some lei ma salad, and then Lovato got the same thing as me.
I'm just gonna throw this away.
I got 3 fries. Oh. Sweet, very nice. I went sweep sale in downtown LA.
Okay guys, you gotta guess how much this thing costs.
Okay, how much you guys guess?
Write it in the comments.
My guess was $50. Ready? $250. $250. All right guys, so that is day 1 of the expo wrapped up. I'm just about to go out for dinner with the Myprotein guys, like Lovato Alan and whoever else is on for it. So I hope you enjoyed this video. Catch you in the next one. Thank you for watching and keep it real. I'm starving. Alright peeps, day 2 of the expo. We actually got a late start today, which is kind of nice, you know, we had to start really early yesterday. So we got a lie in and we had a nice breakfast. Nice breakfast. We had some waffles, it was tasty. And instead of getting a taxi today, me and Alon decided to walk because this is a fitness expo. And we were actually just talking about how the two of us like to take walks every single morning, listen to audiobooks, podcasts about business, motivation, life in general. So that's something we got in common. So we are just about to enter in the expo. Alon forgot his badge, so we're going to try sort one out for him, see if he gets in. Alright, so I haven't even given you guys like a good look at the booth yet. So here's kind of like the main wall. There's Alon doing some weird stretches. There's kind of like the front area. Main bit there. And then here is the little kind of back room. And we got Lovato and Mark. Dragon, I'm just giving a little tour to the side. How am I looking? How's my gains looking? Gains are looking pretty loyal. Gains are loyal. I'm getting my 25 pounds back. Yeah. This is like the VIP room. This is where we— yo, as you can see, it's really like really nice. And it's where we kind of like eat and chill out. And talk and get to know each other. Alright, so me and Alon are just out on our usual outdoor break. Like, you actually need to get fresh air from expos. And we're just talking about— we were just saw this barbell that had just been— it had like a train track on it. It's like, it's really weird, right?
And we're just talking about it with like two grips, like on it, which they move, and you like bench it like this.
Yeah, and like, and we're just saying, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. The barbell has been doing what it's meant to be doing for 100 years. Don't fuck around with it, you know. You want to be able to lift the most amount of weight you can. But, uh, you know, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Like, there's so much kind of little fitness scams, like these little toys, and they may be kind of fun, but it's just like, stick with your basics, guys.
Just stick to the basics.
Yes, stick to the basics.
Live and eat and sleep and that's it. Don't look for any extra things that are going to bring you to the next level because there aren't any.
And there's no new supplements that are going to come out, you know. There's literally like— there's almost no majority of supplements are bullshit. Yeah. So yeah, we're just kind of walking through the expo.
Science will only like invent steroids, but yeah, yeah, supplements that we can take, we know about about them.
Yeah, it's like nothing new anymore. Creatine, like caffeine for pre-workout to make you have better sessions. There's nothing—
even amino acids, they are so heavily used, but they are almost useless.
Yeah, you get them from food, you know. Exactly. Yeah, they are—
you gotta understand, aminos, it's not some— it's protein broken down, you know. And that's what food is. Food, like, digest it and go into your, you know, muscles.
A chicken breast breast has a shitload of leucine, you know, and that's the amino acid that everyone's buying, and you're not understanding that. Yeah, like, chicken breast, turkey breast is very high in leucine.
So there are 3 amino acids: leucine, valine, and isoleucine, right? Yeah, they're gonna keep your muscle and they build new muscle. The thing is, so there's— they're everywhere in the nutrition.
So yeah, and even if you're taking a whey protein shake, which comes from dairy, you know, milk and stuff like that, you, you need to fall off. You know, there's a shitload of BCAAs in that. So that's our little tour for today. Me and Alan are gonna chill here. Yeah, before we head back in. All right, look, so we got Paleo protein bars because remember, back in the Stone Age, cavemen, they loved protein bars. You know, cavemen, they went to the supplement shop for— they got their protein bars. Paleo. Yeah. So just chilling afterwards in the backyard and I decided I'd wrap up this video. My battery ran out during the second day, but I reckon you guys got a good enough idea of what it's like. LA Fit Expo was awesome. It was another kind of like turning point in my journey through the fitness industry, I guess you could call it. Meeting new people, you know, I made some great connections. There's like a few people that like I didn't know that I would get along so well with. And I really did. And you know, I'm still just learning so much and, you know, making these awesome connections. So it was kind of like the focus point of this trip, and like, you know, it turned out so well. It was perfect. Everything went swimmingly. So I hope you guys enjoyed it. I hope it gave you a good idea of like what expos are like and stuff like that. You know, I definitely want to travel the world meeting you guys, so I'm gonna wrap this video up here. I'm gonna like relax a bit in LA now for the next week. I hope you enjoyed it. Still gonna come out with a few more LA vlogs. Thank you so much for watching. I really appreciate it. It means the world to me. I'll catch you in the next one. Keep it real. And trust me, I will keep doing this and keep helping and connecting with as many people as I can. All over the world until there is a queue for myself at that expo. Love you guys.
