Just keep uploading. I was watching Casey Neistat video. Casey is an absolute inspiration to me. He's— I don't call many people an inspiration, but he is definitely one of mine. And he had a video, 3 words to get to 3 million subscribers. You're all going to slag me for saying "tree." Tree, tree, tree. Anyways, and they were his words. They were given to him by Roman Atwood and it's "just keep uploading." And I think it's kind of powerful, right? Because it hit home with me because there was like a video, like 2 videos ago or something, and I was like, "Oh, this sucks. I don't want to upload it." And Sarah just goes, "Hey, remember what, you know, one of your inspirations, Casey Neistat, said? Just keep uploading." And I put it up and you all really liked it. So that is kind of like the approach. It's just kind of like hit home with me today. So that is like why I'm loving these daily vlogs right now. I think the more you vlog, the easier it gets as well. So just keep uploading because there's been so many videos that didn't make it to YouTube from mine because I wasn't happy with them. And hey, maybe you would have liked them anyways. Let's kick off today's video. It's a pull day. I am gonna do some daily errands too. Let's go! All right, I just told Sarah I'm going downstairs to cardio, hence the shorts, but in reality I'm gonna pop out and I am gonna surprise her by buying her a Canon G7X. That's the camera I use for vlogging. Uh, I've used plenty of cameras, I've tried a lot of them, but in my opinion this is the best one. And so yeah, I'm gonna go down to Harvey Norman's now, pick one up for her. All right, bad news, they didn't have a G7X in stock, so I bought the next best thing. A waffle maker. Nah, but seriously, I've been seeing so much, like, people making waffles on YouTube these days, and I'm just like, I need to get on board the waffle train. The waffle train. Some of the shit I come out with. Alright, so I just got onto, I think, Camera Connect is the name of the place, in town on Grafton Street. They've got one G7X left. I guess everyone wants to be a YouTuber nowadays. But, so I'm gonna go in, pick that up. Got myself an iced coffee from Costa for the trip. I'm gonna listen to some tunes, some podcasts, and I'm gonna have a nice relaxing morning. Alright, so busy, busy morning. Basically, I went to Harvey Norman and that was to get another Canon G7X for Sarah because on days— that's the Canon G7X camera I use— and on the days where we both want to vlog, obviously it's impossible with one camera. So went picking up a G7X, they didn't have it, it was out of stock. So ended up buying waffle maker, as you do. They said they didn't have any Canon G7X in like any store in Dublin, so I was like, hmm, okay. So rang around, okay, Camera Center, went into town and they said the same, they said the G7X is discontinued. I was like, what? And they're like, we brought out, you know, the G7X Mark II. So I was like, right, I guess I'm gonna have to get that. So I've upgraded to this bad boy. I'm gonna be using this from now on. It was a little bit pricey, so I was like, you know, is there anything you can do here? And they're like, hmm, you know, what do you work as? Can you use this towards your business? And I was like, oh yes, I absolutely can. So I can claim the tax back on it. They even put LipsOfBusiness.com, the company name, on the receipt, so it's not that bad. So I'm going to now switch over onto the G7X Mark II. Apparently there's not much of a difference between them, but oh well. I'm also gonna make some waffles now too. I've just been like everyone on YouTube these days, like making these killer waffles, and I wanted in on the party. I wanted in on the waffle train. Waffle train.
Yeah.
Alright, so here's just a quick look at the Canon G7X Mark II. As long as you have a slippy screen, you're all good for vlogging. I love the Canon G7X series, so I'm looking forward to using this though, I have to say. All right, people, pull day! Time to go 3 for 3 with the videos. Let's do this! First thing I want to talk about is movements and exercise selection, because basically with back exercises you've mainly vertical rowing movements like lat pulldown or pull-up, and, you know, horizontal movements like chest supported row or barbell rows. I often get people saying, Rob, my gym doesn't have this machine, it doesn't have cables, or I don't feel a good contraction on this exercise, can I substitute it with something else? As long as the movement is going in the same plane of motion, it's not going to make a huge difference. So if you prefer doing pull-ups instead of lat pulldown, or vice versa, then choose that movement. They are both vertical rowing movements and won't make a measurable difference. So just go with the one you prefer. With that out of the way, let's get into the workout. Pull day is definitely the day I find the easiest, so it is a nice way to kind of split up the week for me. I went to the gym with Sarah today who was training them glutes with Katie Smith, who actually won the overall in the same competition I did, so it was great to see her again. If you want to check out their glute workout, Sarah recorded it and it will be up on her channel, link in the description. Fellas. Anyways, I often notice that people are quick to neglect the body parts they don't often see in the mirror, mainly legs and back, and they pay too, too much attention to the ones that we see the most, such as chest, biceps, abs. You know yourself. Overemphasis of these muscles will internally rotate and pull forward the shoulders and your upper back, which will ruin your posture and overall look and aesthetics. If you want that V-taper look that makes your waist look small, you need to be focusing on not only delts but your lats too. So like I spoke about, alternate between vertical and horizontal pulls for maximal back development. Use a controlled movement with a squeeze and a little pause at the top, and you'll be good to go. I'm gonna leave you guys here. Give the video a goddamn thumbs up, and I will love you forever. Enjoy the rest of it. Peace.
If the fire one day dies, keep the embers. Let them take you back in time. Still remember we were once in love. But until that day, let's Till that point in time. You're leaving me broken, leaving me broken, leaving me broken. You're leaving me broken, leaving me broken, leaving me broken. It's time I leave you tonight. I can't take the lies, 'cause you're leaving me broken. Broken, broken, broken down tonight.
Alright, first time using the waffle maker. Let's pray to God this goes well. That could have gone either way. Oh God, moment of truth. It sounds angry and I definitely used too much. Alright, not bad, not bad at all. I definitely just used too much, but they look decent. Okay, these actually turned out pretty good. Welcome to the good life. Alright, so as you can imagine, I'm still buzzing off this thing, so I made a steak and cheese sandwich, kind You can't really see what's in it, but you're going to have to believe me. And then I'm having a sugar-free Snapple iced tea. Alright, so what a nice way to finish the day. I'm just sitting there chilling, like having dinner, and then Jovan Alvin texts me this picture, okay. So some of you may know of the kind of event YouTubers Retreat. I'll link it down in the description box so you can find out more about it. But like, people like Christian Guzman, Amanda Bucci, Buffbunny, you know, all these massive YouTubers are giving like talks and appearances at, and I was like, when I saw my graphic on the banner, I was just like, oh my god. So I'm so excited, like it's like a pool party, like a black tie event, or like a formal event. Like Q&As, seminars, you know, free bar, everything. I'll link the website for the event in the description box, but I am so excited. It's in LA, August 5th and 6th, and I'm just like, ah, man, good things are coming. So I'm gonna finish up this vlog here. Thank you so much for watching. See you tomorrow, same time. Keep it real.
