She Ended Up In Hospital !

In this travel vlog, Rob Lipsett documents a day trip to Phi Phi Island with his companion Sarah. The video opens with a breakfast buffet where Rob highlights his protein‑rich choices and micronutrient focus. He then gives a quick tour of their hotel room, noting quirky details like a urinal. The duo heads out on a boat to Maya Beach, reminiscing about past trips and the movie The Beach. While exploring Monkey Island, Sarah is bitten by a monkey, prompting a discussion about tetanus shots and a rushed trip to the local hospital. After the medical incident, they return to the hotel, enjoy dinner (shrimp, pizza, frozen yogurt), and recall nightlife spots such as Slinky's and the Reggae Bar. Rob shares fitness‑related tips for traveling, including using a cheap waterproof phone case instead of a GoPro, finding a gym, paddle‑boarding, and a bench‑press PR. He also offers a pro tip for adding protein powder to shake stalls. The vlog blends travel footage, personal anecdotes, health and fitness advice, and practical travel recommendations, ending with a reflective note on enjoying a more relaxed holiday compared to his earlier party‑filled trips.

Yo, what's up? So checkout day and we're going to be traveling all day, going to Phi Phi. So we're going to stock up, take advantage of the breakfast buffet once again. And yeah, my nose is still red, get over it. I don't know what's going on with it. But uh, right, I'll show you what I get in this buffet. I actually love this buffet. Alright, so today they actually hooked me up with an egg white omelette, so fair play to them. And Sarah is, of course, going for pancakes again and a bowl of cereal. What's new? Carb queen over here. Just remembered I have a ton of these in my suitcase, so I'm going to make some good old protein oats, you know? Bring me home. Yes, hopefully this goes well. Alright, and to finish things off, just going for a plate of fruit, because you know I'm all about hitting those micronutrients as well. All right guys, new room. Mini bar, TV, bed, painting. It's pretty nice, nice and clean. That's literally just like all you want, really, just like a clean room in Thailand. You're joking me, the bathroom has a urinal! I am sold. Nice big shower and that big-ass selfie mirror.
Still holding up.
Time to chill. I picked up one of these iPhone 5 waterproof cases. I got it off a dude on a stall for like €10, so let's pray to God it works. Alright, so I am back in Phi Phi Island and I swear to God, guys, I am just like nostalgic right now. Some of my best memories of my entire life is when I went here with 20 lads. Obviously it's a bit different now, uh, you know, staying with your girlfriend, stuff like that. But I'm seriously— it's bringing this street, everything, it's just bringing back such good memories for me. So we are just about to go book a boat trip around a few of the islands, like, you know, the Maya Beach, uh, the beach where the movie The Beach was filmed with Leonardo DiCaprio. One of my all-time favorite movies. So I'm just so happy to be back here. I'll show you some cool sights.
And we're about to go to Maya Beach. Where else are we going? Monkey Island. Yeah, I can't wait.
Alrighty, so we're just on the way to the boat now. I've switched over to an iPhone 6 with a waterproof case, so should get some cool footage on this.
All right, monkey bars. Fella, high five! What about me? What about me? Me and my friend, just give it a high five! High five!
Made some new friends.
Oh my God, oh my God, just bit me, just bit me!
All right, so Sarah got bit by a monkey. So typical. She's probably gonna have to get a tetanus shot. Okay, yeah, so we're trying to figure out what to do now.
All right, nice little meal.
Yummy.
Nice place to eat it.
So here on Maya Beach, we left it a bit late in the day, so we're in the shade, but still a beautiful place. And, uh, I As I said, this is where the beach was filmed. Sarah is still suffering from her monkey bite, so we're gonna look for a boat that's gonna bring us back early so she can go get a shot for that. And you know, these vlogs, these are just like what I do in a day, so like things don't always go so smooth, but it would kind of be— it wouldn't be as real for me to not show it and just say, oh, we had a great day. But, um, yeah, she's like freaking out. If you want to enjoy it anyways, have a look around. And then get her sorted. All right, we made it safe and sound, and that boat driver was so nice. He literally dropped us straight to the hospital.
So let's see what's up. I wonder if it's gonna hurt.
Patience. Alright, so all is well. Sarah's not gonna die. Um, our room's just getting cleaned now, so we're gonna go get something to eat for dinner, wind down time, then maybe film that Q&A later. I don't know, but, uh, go for a stroll around town, take it handy.
Hey, sorry, how much for 20 baht?
Okay, uh, yeah, I'll go. Per 100 grams of shrimp, 20 grams of protein, zero fat, zero carbs. That's what I'm talking about. Oh my God, oh, that sauce That's all I'm talking about. This road is like the road you walk down on when you're like getting ready for a night out. That is usually where you like pre-drink. Oh man, the memories are just coming back. Slinky's, the best bar ever, where I've had some sick times. It is gone. I just can't believe it. I came here, I saw that, and I was just like, whoa. What? Like, oh my God, anyone please comment down below if you've been to Slinky's before. It is like, oh my God, it's amazing. I can't describe it. Also, the Reggae Bar. This is a bar with a boxing ring in the middle of it, so like you and your friends fight. And so, you know, me and one of the lads went in there, like put on a show for everyone, got my ass fucking kicked. We had a sick night afterwards, like it was obviously just a friendly fight. And what's that saying again? How much do you know about someone if they've never been in a fight? Something like that. For dinner, we went and got a pizza. It was absolutely delicious. Went to a place called Pirates. I just got like chicken, spinach, and some veg on top. And then now for dessert, we are having frozen yogurt because, you know, I'm obsessed with frozen yogurt. And it is so crazy being back in Phi Phi. Like, it is, it is like about to go off. A part of me would love to be here with the fellas, you know, about to smash it like old times. But, you know, I'm on more of a chilled-out holiday this time. So I'm gonna wrap things up there. Thanks for watching. I'll see you in the next one.
Keep—
Here's a good pro tip: if you got a few sachets of protein like I do, just go up to one of these shake stalls and ask them to throw it in. Uh, today I will go for the, um, mango shake. All right, so today's crack is we're looking for a new hotel because we're gonna stay on an extra day. I also need to find a gym. It's been like 2 or 3 days since I've got a workout in. That feels kind of weird for me. So that is the plan for today. We're on the way to this new hotel. We're gonna ask if they got rooms there. All right, so we ended up just, uh, booking an extra night in the hotel that we're currently in. So now that is all out of the way. I've also found a gym. It's 400 baht for for one entry, which is €10. Bit steep for Thailand prices, but I'm craving a workout, so I'm gonna hit that this evening. So now we're gonna rent those paddle boat things, uh, go out onto the sea and kind of make use of the day. Gonna have to be honest and say this is one of the better Mondays I've had. I'm gonna keep grinding until all my Mondays are like this. Also, I love these things. Who else been on a paddleboard? Uh, some Rob Lipsett tanning tips for the day that's in it. First off, exfoliate on the beach with sand. And then, for me anyways, I need to find an activity that'll keep me occupied because I can't lie by the pool for an hour. So like something like this, a bit more enjoyable, makes the time go by way quicker. All right, going to go for bench press PR for reps. Reps for Jesus. Piece of advice: instead of buying a GoPro for a couple of hundred euro, just buy a waterproof phone case for about a tenner. Time for a bit of StairMaster. It's going to be today's cardio. One thing I have really been enjoying about this holiday is that like you can stay active and like be having fun and stuff like that. Um, so we are trekking it up to viewpoint at the moment. There's like thousands of steps, but I can't wait to see the view when I get up there.
Hi, monkey bites!
Sarah's struggling. Oh my God, that's like a ladder.
Oh my God. Eventually. We're here, we're here.
Mandatory bicep flex. Alright, finally made it.
100 baht.
