Alright, so today's smoothie is kind of weird, but trust me, it is great. I'm putting apple and spinach in it, and then salted caramel isolate, and some cinnamon as well. Honestly, it makes like an apple pie shake. I swear to God, it is awesome. Putting some protein milk on top of that too. What's going on, What's going on, guys? So just planning out my day and planning out my week as well, because today is Monday. You know, that's how I do. I had a pretty good weekend. Me and Sarah just went to the cinema, got some froyo. I'll show you that here. All right, date night. I'm going to take this bird out to froyo and cinema, which is the perfect combo. So we're going to head down to Dundrum, grab a mooch, and then what movie are we seeing again? Cloverfield. Trailer look decent, but I'll show you a bit of froyo porn and show you what I order, and then we'll review this movie and just take you along on our little evening. So see you next clip. You're such a loser. So I'm dressed in very casual. This jacket I got from Penny's, t-shirt is from Zara, bottoms Alphalete, Nike, and Danny Weldon's watch. This is our crazy Saturday night, and we are like so not into drinking. Like, we don't look down, like, all our friends drink, but it's just like we would just rather choose movie and like something nice to eat rather than go out and get pissed.
Yeah, this, this is as wild as my nights out get, really.
We both used to go out loads, like, when we were like— we met—
it's not worth the hangover for me.
And like, we met when like you were 17, I was 18, and like we met on a night out. And like during my college years went out loads, but now I'm just gonna pass it. Like, I've done it all, I've had some absolutely insane nights out.
I still love the odd night out.
Yes, I love the odd one, but just I do not go out nearly as much as I did. I just don't have time.
Looks like we've got a busy day tomorrow.
Don't have time to be hungover, you know? Exactly. Busy day, can't be spending it lying in bed, you know?
I get the worst hangover. Does anyone else? I literally just feel so sick the next day to the point that like I'm actually getting sick. I think I might have an intolerance.
I'm not too bad, like, I just—
oh yeah, yours aren't that bad.
I get on with them, but I can't hit the gym and I always just eat terrible, like, yeah, so, and it throws off my sleeping. So it messes up my gym, my eating, and my sleeping. So it's kind of annoying. I noticed that when I've had like a really busy day, I like, I like forget to eat and like I eat nothing. But it's the days that I'm lying around my house and like just working beside the kitchen, that is when my eating goes out the window. When you're bored and you just eat for the crack.
Yeah, it's the same with me.
Yeah, but we've had, we've had a really busy day today, so The two of us have eaten shit all, so now it's time to enjoy.
I'll have some muesli, yeah please.
And be all healthy, right?
Oh yeah, be healthy. And, um, some Oreos.
So Sarah went hard with the Oreos. I just got like raspberry coconut shavings granola. Now perfect.
Bounty in there.
Yeah, there's a sneaky bounty. Movie was really good. It was like my type of movie. Um, I think the ratings are pretty high for it too, but I just came out there and I just realized I still gotta hit the gym today. So I'm gonna go— I am— no, I'm gonna hit the apartment gym. So I'm gonna go home and get a workout in the apartment complex. It's only a pull day, which has everything I need, but We'll see what we can do. But yeah, that's just what we like to do, you know, like we said in the last video, we're not big into going out. So hey, comment down below, what did you get up to this weekend? I'd love to know. So I'm gonna go off, hit the gym in about an hour. I'm hitting legs at 1 o'clock. So see you in the gym. Just gonna get a scoop in of this before I hit the gym. Fresh top for leg day. You gotta have the long sleeve because the pump goes to the lower body, so you gotta, you gotta hide your smallness. Also, camera tripod that I use to record, G7X, and Joby.com for anyone who wants to start YouTube out there. Let's go! Oh yeah, best space in the house, always get it. All right, so today's kind of tip, because I'm not Ars doing a voiceover, I'm just gonna talk in the gym, and it's about squat depth. If you look back at my old videos, you can see I can like hardly hit depth. If my form in general was terrible, and what I did to fix that was kind of like pause squats and thrown in extremely long pauses. Basically just get comfortable at being down in that position, down in the hole. It'll improve your form and you'll just be a better squatter in general. So just kind of like this. So, you know, you can throw in 3-second pauses, 1-second pauses, whatever, but the takeaway point is just get comfortable being down there and you just improve your squat in general and you'll improve your mobility too. Super quick meal after hitting the gym is just going to be oats, protein powders, and a few berries. Also today made a quick little stop off at Lidl just to pick up some groceries. I'm not going to do it like last time where I spent ages kind of going through what I bought and why. I'm just going to show it to you quickly. So spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, just a load of vegetables, iceberg lettuce, mixed lettuce, courgette, these salad bowls that I'm obsessed with, peppers, onions, bananas, salsa, some frozen berries, eggs, uh, poverty soda, some flavored water, Weetabix back there, and got some Honey Monster Puffs and some kidney beans. I think that's everything, and that all came to 51.48. And there's a few toiletries in there as well, and like for example the mouthwash and more that is not included in that. The food there was actually cheaper than €50. Sarah enjoying her usual melted protein bar and Greek yogurt. But anyways, just thought I'd let you know I picked up a new MacBook Pro that is going to be replacing my MacBook Air. We had some good times, but I'm gonna pass this on to Sarah, and hopefully this will help with, of course, YouTube editing, everything, uh, my whole online business. So I'm really looking forward to cracking this open. Alright, so I just realized I gotta wrap this video up, so I'm gonna finish it off with a little bit of story time. And it's something that I just saw today. Basically, I clicked onto the Myprotein website and I saw that I am on the homepage. And now, any OG subscribers, they'll remember that like a year ago that I was with this like really small supplement company. It's like an Irish company. So me and Myprotein, we started talking because I wasn't in any sort of contract with this smaller company. And I was talking to a few other people and I was like, hey, you know, should I go over to Myprotein? What do you think? You know, do you think this is a smart move? And a lot of people were like, no, no, no, stay with this smaller company. You can be the face of this company because it's a lot smaller. Myprotein are one of the biggest companies in Europe and the UK. You know, they've got athletes like Simeon Panda. You know, they're huge. If you join them, you'll just be nothing to them. And you know, I was like, hmm, yeah, I guess that's a good point. But I just went with my gut feeling and I went with Myprotein. And absolutely, I started off as an affiliate with them just for like a couple of weeks until I proved my worth. And now I'm at the stand with them at expos. I am, you know, on the front page of their website. I'm in their newsletter. And you know, I'm an athlete with them now. So the moral of this story is never doubt yourself. Don't listen to the naysayers. Always believe in yourself. And you know, aim big. Like, seriously, just aim big. You know, always stay modest, stay humble, always. But believe in yourself. You know, believe in yourself to the utmost. So that's what I'm going to finish off this video with. Hope you enjoyed it. A few cool things coming, a few collabs that you guys know of, and so that's going to be in the next video. Chat to you then. Keep it real.
