Straight Back At It

In this vlog, Rob Lipsett opens a Myprotein package featuring new apparel and high‑protein chocolate flavors, then spends the day tackling everyday tasks while sharing his mindset. He talks about the new gear, thanks his community for positive feedback, and explains how adopting a "half‑glass‑full" outlook transformed his life. Rob heads to a garage in Dun Laoghaire to have fresh tires installed, meets mechanic Luca, and uses the waiting time to capture drone footage of the coastline and big waves. After a near‑miss with the surf, he returns home, hits the gym, gets a haircut and a head massage, and prepares a hearty beef‑rice meal. Throughout, he emphasizes staying busy, completing to‑do lists, and maintaining optimism. The vlog ends with a reminder to keep it real and a sign‑off.

Some fresh gear from Myprotein. They're after bringing out like jackets, tech hoodies, tech joggers, but the only thing I'm excited about is this right here, the new flavors of the high protein chocolate, mint and orange, and then normal. In all seriousness, I am looking forward to trying all this gear on, especially the jacket. I'm just like interested to see what they've came out with there, and I love like khaki. This color is like very in right now. Alright, so here are the joggers. These are size medium, and I'm a medium on the legs, but I'm definitely a small around the waist. But what I'm gonna do is I'm just gonna double these up and just tie them a little bit tighter. Cool. Also, just a quick one, I have to go off and get some fresh tires put on my car now, so we'll go do that. But I I just wanna say a quick thank you for yesterday. I don't wanna like drag it on, you know, that's just in the past now, we're moving on, but I just wanna say thank you for being so positive and there was just some really nice comments and mails coming my way, so like I just wanna say thanks and I'm just so proud that this little community, this channel is just such a positive place. And preaching positivity is just something I feel so strongly about because there was a time in my life where I wasn't a very positive person and life sucked. And then when I just started getting this half glass full mentality and looking at everything in an optimistic way, you know, life clearly improved just tenfold. So that's what I want other people to do as well. But anyways, let's get this vlog started. Let's go about the day. All right, so here's the jacket, and I am definitely liking it. The green one, I wasn't too mad on the color, but I think it's pretty cool. It's pretty edgy when I tried it on. And then I'm obviously wearing an Alphalete lifestyle tee, as I wear them pretty much every day. Let's hit the road. All right, so these tires were actually delivered to me instead of the garage. So let's figure out how to get these into a two-door car. If someone pulled me over right now and is like, why are you driving around with so many tires? I'd just be like, hey man, just trying to stay safe. These roads out here are dangerous. If you're not driving around with 5 spare tires, you know, you're playing yourself. So anyways, let's go find this garage. Alright, so update. I went to the mechanics, okay, and I noticed that it was in Dun Laoghaire, which is beside the pier, and it is like a really beautiful day. It's like cold, but it's really crispy and fresh. So I go in and I was just like chatting to the people there, and Luca, a lovely Eastern European man, was like, "Yo, brother, let's change these tires." And I was like, "Hold on a minute, I just gotta run home and get something." He's like, "What do you gotta go get?" And I was like, I wasn't in the mood to be like, Yo, I gotta go home and get my drone because I'm a YouTuber. So I was like, Luca, you're gonna have to trust me on this one. He was like, you got it, bro, see you in 30 minutes. So I drove home safely, stuck to the speed limit, and then I came back, got my drone, and now my car is getting serviced for the next hour. So I'm just gonna get some cool drone shots and maybe some cool camera shots as well, and just, uh, you know, go for a nice relaxing walk, a bit of meditation, and yeah, have some alone time. So just out walking to another spot to fly the drone. My car is still getting fixed, and I just ran into like a group of lads, and they all had loads of camera equipment, and they were like, "Rob Lipsett!" And I was like, "Second I saw the tripods and the big cameras, I knew you guys were gonna say hello." But they're all really nice. So yeah, I'm still like so in shock at how nice today is. Like, I thought it was gonna be freezing. Over here, there's some like really epic waves that I saw when I was driving into Dun Laoghaire. They're really big today. So I think they're gonna look cool. I'm hoping my drone doesn't go kersplat, because I'm talking to Ben here who's in Cambodia with Lost LeBlanc, Christian LeBlanc, the other YouTuber, and two of their drones in one day broke. A Mavic and a DJI Phantom. So let's pray to the drone gods that that doesn't happen. So I see a few wet patches here and a few waves coming in. So let's just pray that like— oh God, no, no, no. Okay, okay, that's getting a little bit close. Let's hope just a massive monsoon doesn't come in and take me out. Shit, that one looks big. Oh my God. Okay, that is— no, I full on can't go past that.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Oh God, oh God, oh God, oh God, oh God, oh God, oh God, oh God. Okay, okay, okay, I gotta go.
This was a disaster.
I'm fucking soaked. My shoes are soaked. Okay, right, that was a fail. Mmm, nothing beats wet feet on a cold winter's day. I wanted to get down there where the waves are really big, but we couldn't really make it past there.
Ah, one more. Let's go, come on. Yep. Come on, one more. Don't stop.
It's all right. Got it. Sweet.
Pretend it's not even there.
That's perfect.
I think it's good, man.
Not everybody knows that you need to take the back shorter compared to the front. Yeah. And then you obviously, if you're not saying, then they wouldn't know, but normally they should know. All right, so you look like a pineapple. Yeah, yeah. So what just went on there was I hit the gym, okay, and then afterwards I went, got myself a haircut, and I got myself a little massage in there as well, just like a face massage, a head massage. And I swear to God, when I like lift some weights, go get my haircut, get tidied up a little bit, I feel 100 times better. So I think that's just— I try to tend to do stuff like that on a Monday to just start the week off on a positive note and just keep it ticking till the end of the week so you just have an overall good week. Right, gonna head home, get something to eat. This meal can only be described as historical. We have lean ground beef, rice, corn, salsa about to go on, I think there's like some carrot in there, green beans, and cheese as well too. So I'm gonna dig into this now. Time to finish up this vlog. I just had a shower, a shave, got fresh. Um, that's something I'm so bad at. I'll like vlog the entire day, then I'll just work in the evening and I'll just go to sleep. I'll just pass out and I'll forget to end a vlog. So I'm making sure I do that this time. Today was like a really good productive day, and that's what makes me sleep easy. That's what makes me happy. As long as I get as much of my to-do list done as possible. And don't think I'm perfect, I never get like everything I set out to do in a day complete. And if I don't, I just let it roll over to next day and just put that on priority for the following day. And so again, I got a really busy day coming up tomorrow, and that's what I like. I got a really busy February, and that is just what makes me happy, staying busy. So I hope you enjoy this vlog. Straight back to business, keep it real. See you in the next video. I'm out of here. Peace.
