Okay people, so morning of the event. We have the Delaney Bros here. We had such a, such a nice sleepover last night. I had a great night. Yeah, so we're all getting caffeinated now and then we're heading off to the event. I'm like, I'm excited, nervous, but I'm feeling really good about it. So yeah, this is gonna be a good day for me, a big day for me, something I've never done before. And yeah, let's see how we get on. What really kind of inspired me was kind of like what Joe said at the beginning, is live a life less ordinary. Just do something different, you know? It's like you got one shot, why not just do something a little bit out of the ordinary? They work a job that they dislike and they're afraid to leave, or they think it's going to be a risk, and it's actually a risk to stay there because you'll never be the same age, you'll never— your time, time's slipping by, you'll never have this day again. 9 to 5, the jobs you hate, you're going nowhere, you're always going to be there. So the fear of being average, I know it sounds cliché, that That's what inspired me. Alright guys, so this is the first ever event of the Creator Agency and I'm like really surprised at how well everything came together. We've got some volunteers from the Lipsett Fitness community and it's just— oh God, I'm high on life, man. So let me just show you a quick little walkthrough, okay? So here is the main room. So we got the screen, we got 1, 2, 3, 4 screens for anyone who is doing a presentation, slide thing. There's over 300 people in attendance, which is amazing for an event that I announced 2 weeks ago. And then we've got obviously water for everyone. There's coffee getting set up out here. We got the goodie bags. So again, there's going to be plenty of snacks for everyone. So of course, Myprotein contributed to it. Loads of this. We got some good for you. Super Bites. We got Wattwater water and caffeine because, right, working a crowd is an art form, okay? You got to keep everyone happy, you got to keep everyone hydrated, you got to keep everyone caffeinated, okay? You got to make everyone feel good. It's like you're playing host to hundreds of people, okay? Nut Butter because let's face it, everyone loves peanut butter. We got Cut and Sew free haircuts. We have Fulfill Bars. We got a lot of stuff, okay? So then here are all the goodie bags, and then from down here we have some Amber eyewear. A lot of people have noticed me wearing these in like my Snap stories or Insta stories, and this is like ideal for anyone like me or any entrepreneurs out there who are on their laptop, especially in the evening, because these are not just any glasses. These are things that, um, they're blue light blockers. So basically it's not good to be staring into a laptop late at night, so this sorts out that problem. Again, guys, thank you so much for coming down. Of course, Kerbin's Food for Fitness, the home of the turkey burger. So look at this, we got Keane Healy, we got Siobhan, we got your man himself right there. So again, this is a brand that I've worked with for just so long and they are just such good friends of the channel, so I'm delighted they're here. And if you come out here, a few people that are here a little bit early, say hello guys. So I didn't know— everyone's getting an early start— so I didn't know that the Radisson was such a nice location. Like there's like a cool cocktail bar there, there's like a bar over there, so I'm like, after the event son, I'm getting wild. Anyways, so then there's one more thing I want to show you. I also got everyone helping out, kitted, kitted out in this, only the best. So then down here, this is the VIP. Look at this. So this is our cloakroom, and there's another bar, and this is our cloakroom, just where I am putting my bags and stuff. And that is it. So now, uh, we're pretty much done with setting up everything. The first speaker is Owen Roddy, Conor McGregor's striking coach. So, uh, I sent him on some questions there, and I think it's going to be a really good conversation. Uh, so let's get into it, guys. Thank you so much for watching, and it's going to be a great day. Okay, so I just changed into some fresh Alfley clothes and now everyone is arriving now. So this is the last you'll see of the room empty. Let's get it started. Welcome everyone to the Creator Agency Summit. Okay, so first speaker of the day, we're going to welcome on El Ronny. Everyone, a round of applause. So is there anything that to become a pro, what I would have done differently when he was just off the coast of the UFC?
No, I, I could say, you know, honestly, you know, I make sure I do this no matter what I do. I, I'll give everything 100%, everything. I'll give him, I'll give my heart into anything I do. And when I go to camp with Conor, I'll give my heart. And in my fighting career, I gave everything. I left it in the cage every single time, you know, to the point of being choked unconscious, to the point of being just knocked out clean because I just didn't want to give up. I'd rather go out on my sword, you know what I mean? So I gave it everything in my fighting career, and I can only, you know, I can only really say that I feel like I came I started mixed martial arts before it was big and it kind of passed me. As soon as I retired, all the fighters, all the lads in the gym, all got signed to the UFC. And, you know, I was delighted for them, but in my heart it was like I felt like, "Oh God, man, I missed it." But, you know, you address that and you go, "Okay, look, don't dwell on it, move on, figure something out and move forward." So now I have no regrets at all.
That's literally the attitude that we are preaching today and that I want you all to go away with. If you give it your 100%, you can't have any regrets. You can't. You can't. Guys, I want to give you a huge round of applause for Owen. Thank you. Thank you so much. So I hope you enjoyed that and it's really just set the day up nicely and as you As you can see, that wasn't just MMA. That was literally like, it just goes to show you the mindset to be a champion in anything. You know, anything you decide to do, anything you love doing, leave it all on the table and have no regrets. So we're going to take just 15 minutes to go get a drink, go grab some food, eat some protein, stretch the legs. And guys, quick one, quick one, quick one. Say hello to the person to your left. Say hello to the person to your right. Yeah, yeah, do it now, do it. And network, okay? Network. So Owen Roddy was our first speaker and he smashed it. Like, I felt like I was in the crowd. I was literally like edge of my seat asking him questions. It was so good and it's really set the pace for the day. And now, so right now, Roz just broke the teleprompter. But we're setting up now some bigger screens so that when we're talking, the whole, you can see it throughout the whole event. So next, now we have Roz Purcell who is one of Ireland's leading influencers. She's an author, she's a model, Miss Ireland, Miss Universe, everything. She's amazing, and she's also a good friend of mine. Just gonna sit up there and have a chat.
So all right, let's get into it.
So how did you transition from the modeling career into doing your own thing? What was the first thing you did?
I just wiped away any thought that I had of what people thought me. So I didn't worry what people were thinking about me. Oh, like, oh no, she wants to be a food blogger, you know, things like that. I completely ignored what everyone else was doing and I just ran it through my pure passion. Is it something that's self-motivating you? Is it something that you get out of bed and you're like, oh, this is such a passion for me and I love writing about it, I don't care how many views I have, I don't care how many likes I'm getting, this is something I want to create? Or are you doing it because you're like, I want to get loads of followers, I I want other rewards, I want brands to send me free shit. You have to look at it that way. If it's out of pure passion and it's intrinsic motivation—
We all love free shit.
Afterwards, afterwards we can all love free shit.
Free shit will go.
Yeah. So we are gonna wrap things up here. Roz, thank you so much for being a huge fan. Okay, so we are over halfway there, but honestly This doesn't seem like work. I don't want today to end. I'm just staying hydrated. But like, I'm high. I'm literally high on life. But anyway, so next up we got Skinny Gaz. Gary McGowan is his real name. He's doing a talk on training and nutrition. So, you know, in that last talk, or even in Owen's talk, yeah, we touched on it, but this will be, you know, very focused on building and creating the physique you want. And I love Gary's tongue-in-cheek attitude. He's so upfront, and that's why I got him. That's why I thought he was the man for the job. And he actually has like a whole slide prepared, everything prepared, and I was gonna, you know, take half an hour out and, you know, stay behind and, you know, re-energize. But I want to be up on stage. Like, I'm loving it. Like, I'm just having the best day ever. So I'm gonna go up with him, and we're gonna talk all things training, nutrition, because at the end of the day, that's how this channel started. Still a huge part of my life, and I love it. So let's go. Let's hear it up for Skinny Gaz!
It was just something I was wondering personally. You talk about eating healthily and obviously I try to advocate that. Do you know to what extent an active life kind of impacts your micronutrient needs, so your daily requirements of your vitamins and minerals?
Yeah, it's one of those things that hasn't really been quantified all too well, but if you took a look at that metabolic map of all those metabolic pathways that I had up there, it looks a bit like the London Underground. All of those reactions are actually dependent on different vitamins, minerals, and cofactors for them to actually run. So, like, for example, if you look at muscle contraction, the fuel required to actually stimulate the muscle proteins contracting is ATP, and ATP needs to bind to magnesium in order for it to actually work properly. And magnesium is actually the central molecule in chlorophyll, which is the pigment that gives green vegetables their color. So that's just one of literally thousands and thousands.
Plenty. So plenty is the other one.
Plenty.
Yeah, just— there is a big difference.
Yeah. Always veggies.
So yeah, and even like, we got a few questions on micronutrients there, and it's just like macronutrients, protein, carbs, fat, you eat 3. Okay, pretty simple. Okay. Micronutrients, again, it's just—
They haven't even all been discovered.
They haven't even all been discovered. Just eat your goddamn vegetables, right? I'm going to let Gary leave the stage. Put it here, and thank you so much. And I think it sums it up that we are going or gone over time. I just think, like, I think no one wants it to end. I don't want it to end.
I said to Rob, am I actually speaking at this thing? He said, yeah, you are. I said, all right, okay. So he said, just prepare a brief who are you And I think, I suppose these days if you ask someone, "Who are you?" it essentially means, "What do you do for a living?" in a way, doesn't it? That's the answer you get if you're at a party, do you know what I mean? "What do you do to, you know, put the turkey dinosaurs on the table?" So I guess in that sense, in that sense I'm a YouTuber and an online personal trainer, but I suppose a little bit deeper than that. I'm just— I don't feel— that doesn't feel like me. I feel like just somebody just simply just trying to have a good time. Just like— because that's all we want, right?
We actually applaud that, man.
So that's really how I fell into YouTubing. Just through really a desire to entertain myself. So I suppose it's less noble reasons than a lot of people, right? Because I didn't think, you know what, all these lads in Dublin, I want to help them get in better shape. I mean, I would like that to be a happy coincidence, a happy consequence of it. That would be great. That would be great. But it wasn't my idea in the beginning. I was just, you know, my kind of selfish adolescent brain wasn't, let's go and help a load of people. It was simply, let's just lead a life that's like a little bit interesting. And, you know, because My biggest fear, apart from sharks, like, and bad eyebrows, is being bored, right? No one wants to be bored. I should do some bad eyebrows in Liverpool, you'd understand, right? That would have been funnier in England. Anyway, part of the reason why we moved. Yeah, yeah, every Tinder match.
So guys, I just want to say a huge, huge thank you for today. I'm really lost for words. I don't even know how to say this, but just, I can feel the energy from this room. It's absolutely amazing. And I really do want you to take some gems that you learned from today and apply them into life, okay? You can have the best training plan, the best nutrition plan, the best business mentor, the best life advice, but if you don't execute it, if you don't put it into motion, it doesn't work. So go forth and kick some ass. Thank you so much. I'll be hanging around if anybody wants to have a chat.
And until the next one. Everyone seems to enjoy themselves. I did. Rob definitely did. And I want to go eat, so we'll do that.
Far better than I actually imagined it going, and I'm delighted. I'm feeling a sense of fulfillment. And speaker of the day had to be Joey Lee, man. The vibes, the vibes are next level. The vibes are next level. I'm only saying that for his channel.
Obviously a sick event, and I'm glad it went well. I'm happy for Rob because he was a little bit nervous. You have to calm him down this morning, say, Rob, shh, everything's gonna be okay. And then I was stroking his head and he was like whispering to him. It all went great, it was a team effort. We calmed him down in the end. Yeah, it was good to meet everyone anyway. And so thanks for coming down. James said hiya. Amazing to have so many, uh, brothers and sisters in common. It was great in the one place. So all around good day. Ciao peeps, peace out.
All right, so today I'm still absolutely buzzing, uh, it went way better than expected. And so I just want to say first a big thank you and how grateful I am for everyone that not only helped put it together, everyone that came down. We even spoke about gratuity today and, you know, being grateful for everything. And right now I'm just truly feeling that. So we're gonna finish up here. Thank you so much for watching, guys. Keep it real. This is the start of something big. People, now it is the best part of the day. It's post-event when the hunger just kicks in. It's been expending so much energy. Look at this family dinner. Oh my god, nachos! Yo, everyone happy? Thank you all for being my friends. I love you all. Feeling the pain?
Oh yeah, I'm trying to get normal again. Hey, you need to have a voice. I'm just not— no one speaks like this one.
I think you're saying something.
I've gone like, yeah, I actually want to keep this voice, but I know that I won't. Here we go. This is gonna fix us, mate.
Oh, it is, it is. Fix me.
