What up, what up everyone? Welcome to today's vlog and this is kind of unofficial episode 1 of the Ibiza prep. We got exactly 9 or 10 days to go until we are going to be in Ibiza and I'm also going over like 2 days early to Manchester to chill with Joe, go shopping and hit the gym as well. So anyways, today we're going to do a vlog. I'm going to give you a physique update as well, show you where we're starting and the next 10 days are mainly going to be focused on fat loss and also, you know, getting back into a routine, maybe gaining a little bit of strength because the last 2 weeks my training has been so sporadic and my lifestyle and making memories has definitely kind of taken preference over that. That's okay, it's a good thing. So I'll show you where we are currently at. I just woke up, I'm in my pajamas. This clock is wrong, by the way. Okay, I think we, we've established that. So that is where we're currently at. Kind of soft, didn't have the best week since we came back from Texas, but you know what, we're gonna, we're gonna work some magic in the next 10 days, okay? Okay, let's get the vlog started. Give it a thumbs up, sit back, relax, enjoy. Also, I've just got a nice big package from Myprotein. I usually do like one order a month and then they'll send me some like new items, new launches. So let's see what we got here. Actually, wait, instead of doing like a really long unboxing, I'm just going to lay it all out now. Okay, so really quickly, I got some beef jerky. I'm going to try save this and bring it to Ibiza as it's just like such a perfect snack. It's like pure protein. Protein cookies, The protein cheese, highly recommend grating this. A new tub of B-Whey. After I tried the vanilla cream, it just tasted so good, I had to get the chocolate caramel. These are my favorite protein bars, Probar Elite. I got toffee vanilla, definitely the best flavor. Second, dark chocolate and berry flavor. Then these water enhancers, these are kind of like, you know, flavor drops for your water. My favorite flavors are berry and blue raspberry. And then this is my favorite kind of pre-workout pump product. It's Nitro Extreme. That is all that I got. Pretty basic order. So now I'm gonna have breakfast. I'm either gonna have like a shake or a protein bar, and then I got a podcast to do with an Irish podcaster. His name is Brian Keane Fitness. Almost forgot to talk about this stuff. It's called My Rice, and it's got like 7 calories per pack, and it's to like bulk up rice. So I'm gonna have a rice dish later, and I'll add this to it, and it just makes it a much bigger meal. So it's very good for cutting. Okay, so it's going to be the usual morning shake. Ice, banana, low-fat milk. Excited to try this flavor. And then I'm going to add some of this and some creatine to it as well. Standard. You're going in my vlog as well, by the way. Alright guys, so just finished up a podcast with Brian Keane. It's just a really nice way to start my day. Two super positive individuals just bouncing off each other. So it's just gone past 10 AM. We're going to get on with it. Okay, so I'm going to go hit up the gym now. Going to hit up Raw. I'm also going to meet Ben there. And we're not going to do like a mad edit. We're just going to like work out together. They're also going to get something to eat afterwards and plan out the next couple of days. Um, we've got a project that I need to announce as well around June 15th. Then we're going to plan out Ibiza and getting over there and everything. So I actually did not get much sleep this weekend at all, and I do not do well on low sleep. So I'm gonna put these glasses on because it's a nice day as well, it's really sunny. I'm just gonna like get a pre-workout or some coffee in. I'm just gonna get on with this session. It's a pull day today, and we got rack pulls. It's one one of my favorite days, so I'm just gonna get in the mood for it. All right, let's go! Okay, so outside the gym, on the menu today we got rack pulls, vertical rowing, horizontal rowing, and biceps. So hella excited to get this workout done right now. Like, once you have a goal or like a date or like something to kind of aim towards, like, your motivation does go up a little bit. So I gotta— I beat that in exactly 9, 10 days, so I want to be looking good. So let's go in, smash this session, see who's in here and have a bit of fun. And food afterwards as well. That always motivates me as well. And you're going to get something to eat afterwards. Okay, and also shades off because sunglasses in the gym would be a new level of douchebaggery, even for me. All right, so this fella finally showed up late to the gym. Worst gym partner ever. Only because it was your birthday yesterday, I'm gonna let you away with it. Ben, happy belated birthday. Turned 20 yesterday, the big 2-0. He's getting old, man. He's getting old. Yeah, yeah, it's like the second you Turn 20, it's like you're up to no good. But, uh, so yeah, two of us are gonna get a session in here. I'll probably just include some raw clips, and let's get it done. Okay, so warm-up done. We are doing 5 plates a side, and I'm going to go for around 8 reps. Going to do that for about 3 to 4 sets, so let's get into it. Okay, so this is my last set. Going to do a drop set. Hammer up, as much reps as possible. Come on! Nice! Well, good! Like it! Joey D's coming for you. Yeah, man, me and Joey D, it's going to be like Bill Heat versus Kai Green, just we're a little bit bigger. Good, let's go eat. Yeah, food time. All right, workout done. Uh, and now I'm not gonna mention that we had a meeting. Not gonna mention that we had that meeting. Don't ruin the surprise. I was just saying we're going from the gym to food. Yeah. All right, workout done. So now we're getting some food. We're gonna hit up a salad bar just down the road, me and Ben. Show you guys what we get when we get in there. I need some proteins. Michael, the superfood chicken. I was just looking at that. They look good. Sick eggs, dude. Okay, so there we go. Superfood chicken. So we got greens, lettuce, Mediterranean chicken, power grains and lentils, mixed peppers, broccoli, tomato, sweet potato. Then I added some feta cheese into that, so Solid, solid meal here. And Ben, you got the same, didn't you? Yeah, same thing. Having a Coke Zero as well, right? It's good. Okay, little update. So we're having like kind of a meeting over lunch. And so as you know, we're going to Ibiza next week. Okay, we're so excited. Me, Marianne, Joey D, Nabil, and Ben. Okay. And so we're just planning out how we're going to do the videos. And now when we're over there, okay, it's like we're saying to Ben, it's like, you know, it's slightly business, but it's not. So, but what we're going to do is, okay, so we're going to record everything, record every single day, but we're not going to edit over there because the hard part of YouTube— people don't understand how much editing can go into a video. So we're not going to edit over there, but we are going to record every single day. And then when we get back that's when the editing comes into play. So we can enjoy to the fullest, have fun, and then when we're back, you know, just get stuck into it. So probably gonna come out with like 5 videos, and if all goes to plan— yeah, yeah. And then when we get back, we'll do like 5 in a row, or like 5 every second day. So we're just planning that out now, and we're so excited, to say the least. Okay, next I'm to-do list is I gotta go into Dawson Street because I got a meeting with a book publisher. They want to make my ebook into a physical book. So, you know, I sent them an email with the PDFs of what my ebook consists of, and I said we'd like to put this into print. So I don't know, I'm gonna see what they have to say here now. And, but yeah, I'm definitely open to it, so we'll see. Look at this. Okay, so we're about to go into a meeting now. Look It's like an old-school open lift. I'll let you know how it goes. Okay, so that was actually a lot more interesting than I thought. Um, definitely good to have a chat about it. And like, you know, it's good to have both things available, like a hard copy and a digital copy. So definitely keeping my options open. Now it's time to go home and eat. I'm hungry. I want to make a meal. I'm in the mood to cook. All right, people, meal time with Lip. Look what I've got going on. This is going back to my cooking roots, okay? Okay, so this big pan of goodness here, it is like veggies, like broccoli, peppers, tomatoes, onion, courgette, mushrooms, sweet corn. Then there's real rice, there's this fake-ass Myprotein rice to bulk it up a little bit, and then there's chicken breast and steak. Oh my God, look at the size of that meal! Probably gonna put a little bit of soy sauce on this, and I'm gonna devour it. When I'm with my food, it's like one-on-one time. It's like, okay, you know, this is my special time, okay? But so after I eat this, I'm going to talk to you guys a little bit about my macros coming up to this holiday and just some general chitchat. I love Monday because it's a day where all my post seems to arrive. So I'm going to crack open this. I think I know what it is. And then we are going to talk a little bit about my nutrition over the next 10 days. So they are some watches from a company called Tayrock that I'm going to start working with. Okay, so these are the two watches I went for, a kind of pink gold and then black and gold. This one I was like kind of like on the fence about, then I was like, you know what, I've no watch that looks like this, I'm just gonna go for it. I think it'll look cool on a night out. There's gonna be a link for that in the description box. I'm gonna put the discount code on the screen here now as well. In my opinion, a watch completes an outfit. Okay, so quick one about my macros, calories, nutrition, um, about the coming days leading up to Ibiza. Basically, for me, my maintenance calories, I figured out they're about 2,900, maybe 2,800. Your maintenance calories are the amount of calories you take in that just makes you maintain your physique or stay the same weight. And just a heads up, just because I'm saying like these are my numbers or this is what I'm doing doesn't mean that's gonna work for you as well. Like, I know people who like cut on 2,800 calories or people who like lean bulk on that much. It really varies from person to person. I think the only way to figure it out is from trial and error over the course of time. So when I'm like selecting a calorie range for like a cut or a mini cut or a bulk or whatever, um, I kind of gauge it by like how much body fat I've got to lose and the time I have, and also the kind of like extremity of the cut. So to put that in perspective, I can get like pretty lean and cut up nicely if I give myself enough time on like 2,500 calories, which I really don't think is that low. Like, I know people people that are like bigger and heavier than me who have to cut on lower calories. So like, I really can't complain about that. So seeing as I've got about 10 days, I think I'm gonna aim for 2,300 calories with 200 grams of protein, about 60 grams of fat, and then the rest of my calories will come from carbs. So like, 2,300 may be low for some people, but it's really not that bad. And as you've seen, I know how to like bulk up my meals and stuff. And again, this is just what I'm doing. And this just suits me, the time frame, and the condition that I want to get in. As for cardio, what I will be doing and what I kind of always do is about 5 or 6 days a week I go for a 30 to 45 minute walk and just listen to music, listen to podcasts and stuff like that. So it's pretty basic and pretty simple. Lifting, I will be doing my legs push-pull split. So today, so pull day, tomorrow is going to be leg day, and then push day, and then I'll be taking probably one rest day a week. When I'm leading up to a holiday, I like to really increase volume and intensity and of course hit the gym a bit more often. So it's kind of like you're building up your volume and then like you're taking a life deload when that holiday comes. Because, you know, yeah, we're probably going to hit the gym in Ibiza, but like it'll be nothing crazy and nothing full-on. We're definitely going to be there to enjoy ourselves primarily, even though I do really enjoy going to the gym. That legs push-pull split that I'm running is also linked in the description box if anyone wants to go check it and it's also within my ebook. My ebook has like 3-day sample programs, 4-day, 5-day, and 6-day sample programs, and I'll be doing the 6-day one. Okay, I can literally talk about like macros, calories, training splits for so long, cardio. So I'm gonna stop myself from rambling on and just to sum it up. So yeah, 2,300 calories, 200 grams of protein, 60 grams of fat, rest carbs, 30 to 45 minutes of cardio most days, lifting 6 days a week, legs push-pull. And that is going to be the Ibiza prep. Now the tough part is actually doing it. Now realistically, I'm really looking forward to the build-up to the holiday. Like, love me a bit of routine sometimes. And remember, this is just what I'm doing. Maybe you can take like example and apply to your own training and nutrition program, but I'm just letting you guys into my life and giving you an insight into my training and nutrition. So that's it. I've spoke long enough. I'm gonna get like another meal in, get some emails done, and chill out for the rest of the evening. Oh, and get my walk in. Alright, now Next on the menu is this oat masterpiece. So it is Greek yogurt, granola, dark chocolate, oats, flavor drops. Delicious. End of the day, I'm gonna finish off this Greek yogurt. There's 50 grams of protein in this tub. And then I'm gonna have some ZMAs, and then I'm gonna go get my 8 hours in. Sleepy time. Okay people, so that wraps up this vlog. So we're definitely going way back to our kind of roots in this one. A lot more training and nutrition, and like, You know, that is good, but like there are gonna be like different phases of this channel. Like there's gonna be times where I go out a little bit more, there's gonna be times where I travel more, there's gonna be times where I, you know, knuckle down and concentrate a lot more on the gym, fitness, and my diet and stuff like that. And that's a good thing because, you know, it's good to have different kind of phases or the channel would be really boring. Like imagine if I just did the same thing in every single episode. That is gonna be the main focus in the next couple of videos. And on top of that, in the next video, I'm going to be revealing my new company. So I'm really excited and nervous about that. So I'll see you guys then. Keep it real. Peace. Until next time, I'm out here.
