The Next Phase Of My Life

In this September 2023 vlog, Rob Lipsett gives a candid, high‑energy recap of an eventful month that marks a turning point in his personal and professional life. He opens by noting the launch of his new product line, Fuelcakes, and shares highlights from a whirlwind travel itinerary that took him from Dublin to Italy, then to Ibiza (which was cancelled due to weather) and finally to his second home in Marbella, Spain. While on the road he and his fiancée (Linda) prepared a HelloFresh meal, showcasing the brand partnership and emphasizing the convenience and nutritional transparency of the service. After a chaotic flight cancellation, Rob flies business‑class with Aer Lingus back to Marbella, where he receives an engagement congratulation card from a friend. Back at Villa Lipsett, he unveils a new outdoor barbecue setup, cooks a high‑protein carnivore‑style meal, and discusses upcoming home improvements, notably a pergola for shade. He reflects on the rapid pace of the past year—engagement, house purchase, travel, and achieving his best physique—comparing it to a decade of growth. Using a “Progress” app that shows the year is 68.8 % complete, he feels motivated to set ambitious goals for the remaining 30 % of the year, reaffirming his commitment to YouTube content creation and his audience. The vlog ends with a heartfelt thank‑you and a call to finish the year strong.

Bass slap on everything. Swimming, you're shaking away cause I got big racks coming. I put my low racks on it. I ain't skip past losses, I had to get back off it. See the fit, lab on it until they whip my coffin. Money clip, I tossed it. I heard it's big bags on big bags on big bags coming, coming in. Yeah, flex. I just wonder when.
Good old Raw Gym edit is not what the people want, so Amazing Time back in Dublin. It's been a crazy month, not gonna lie. We launched Fuelcakes, we went to Italy, we got ourselves a fiancée, and we hung out with family and friends. We spent some quality time at home, but now it's time to go to my second home, I guess you'd call it that. Well, we're going to Spain, Ibiza first, and then we're going back to Marbella. So this has been a worldwide adventure of a month, and like, summer is kind of like my favorite time when I relax on my diet and training, such a strict routine so much, and just kind of travel around and have fun. But it was a productive month as well. So first off, we are all packed up. Probably see we're in the Airbnb, there's a lot of stuff around us. We're all packed up. We're gonna make a meal so we don't eat in the airport because I love airport food. Like the selection, you go in, there's Butters Chocolate, there's the food hall, there's McDonald's, there's Burger King, all that good stuff. I love it. So I always try to eat a big meal beforehand. So we're gonna go cook a meal now and then head to the airport. And then our flight gets in pretty late in Ibiza, but I'll show you guys the hotel and the whole travel process as well. But travel day, let's get it. Next up, we're gonna make a meal from our friends over at Hello Fresh, who are the world's leading recipe box company. They provide everything required for cooking delicious meals at home and delivering them to your front door at the start of each week at a convenient time. The box comes with step-by-step recipe cards and fresh, high-quality ingredients that are pre-measured to exactly the amount needed, so no food is wasted. And you can be sure that the ingredients you get are always fresh and of high quality. All of their meals consist of quality ingredients that come from local Irish suppliers too. Since everything is pre-measured, nothing ends up in the bin, and that way you don't have to pay for more than you need. They do of course have the calories and macros listed on every meal too, so if you have some physique or health goals, this is the ideal service for you. You can select your weekly recipes, modify the servings per recipe, and schedule delivery at your convenience, and of course pause or cancel your subscription at any time. My favorite thing about HelloFresh is not only does it save me time, but it also makes me cook meals and use ingredients that I wouldn't usually think of using. For example, adding cumin to the rice like I'm doing here, or beef stock powder to the sauce. It's the little things. All of the meals are simple to follow, 6-step recipes, so you can cook tasty meals with zero effort. Today I went for the chili con carne, and it was honestly restaurant standard, tasted insanely good, and we made it in a matter of minutes. So click the link and use my code. This will get you up to €85 off across your first boxes. Such an amazing service, highly recommend. Enjoy and happy cooking. All right, so after the most hectic travel plans ever, we're finally on a plane. Our trip to Ibiza completely canceled. Every flight from Dublin Airport that day was canceled, something to do with the weather control or the air traffic control in the UK. All flights canceled. Any way to get to Ibiza was a 10-hour connecting flight that costs like thousands for me and Linda. So we said, you know what, it's time to call summer up. Summer's over, baby, it's back to work. We found a flight back to Marbella, going back to Villa Lipsett and calling it a day. So we're on Aer Lingus now. This is my first time actually flying business with Aer Lingus. Super nice. Look at this, right? It still never ceases to amaze me, lying completely flat on a plane. And just like that, we are back in Marbella, back in Villa Lipset, and it feels so good. The place is still in one piece, and look at this, we even got some flowers from a friend of the channel, Caroline O'Mahony. Let's see what the card says. All right, wishing you two a huge congratulations on your engagement. I'm so happy for ye. I'm like reading that Caroline's voice. I'm so happy for you. Sending love from Ireland. Caroline, what a pleasant surprise. So we're still kind of like in celebration mode, you know. A lot of people are still congratulating us. So many messages to get through, and it's been kind of like big time in my life— buying a house, getting engaged. We're growing up on this channel. Like, how crazy is it to look back in the old videos and now here we are? We also came back to a load of Alphaleaf and Ghost as well. So yeah, that'll ease the pain of coming back from holiday too. Now we're going to make some barbecue food, and I'm very excited. All right, so latest addition to Villa Lipsett is this beautiful barbecue. I was actually really missing barbecue over time. We want to do like a full built-in outdoor dining area. This table and chairs, they actually came with the house, so we still haven't changed them. They look all right. I painted them black, but we want to get some nice wooden ones, maybe like a 6-seater out here so we can have big group dinners. Post-workout meal, we are going to grill up 2 fillet beef skewers, and then I'm also going to throw a bunch of chicken breasts on this, and then we're going to have a big salad with that too. So high protein barbecue meal coming up. All right, so we got chicken breast, we got the steaks going on. They'll probably be done very quickly, so we'll have them to start, and then we got the peppers going on here. So we're going to close this over and dig in. Carnivore diet. All right, so this is the ultimate feeling ever right now. We're grilling away, waiting for it to be done. Oh, this cooks so fast. And then while you're waiting, you go jump in the swimming pool. So let's go. All right, this is the plan for September. We chill here, we hit the gym, work hard, make our barbecue, we go for swims, we enjoy the sun. Let's go check how this meat's doing. And now skewers are ready. So let's eat. How we looking? Shred. A lot of pasta, a lot of pizza and pasta to work off. This is always the time of year, January is a time when people, you know, start new training programs and commit. And for me, post-summer is also a big one as well. So if you want to work with me, you want to get a tailored training and nutrition plan, click the link in the bio. We got our salad going on here. I'm going to have these beef skewers. And then for the main, we're going to have the chicken. Pretty much a meal of pure protein. Not too shabby, eh? When it's a travel day, I like to get back into routines straight away. So something that makes you feel fresh, something that sharpens you up, like getting a fade, going for a walk, getting a gym session in, going out in the sun. So that's exactly what I'm doing today. So now we're gonna walk home, should be home in about 2 minutes, and then we're going to finish up this video. Also, check out that September weather, literally does not get much better than this. My favorite month of the year. Back home, just about to go into the office. Now, Wilhelmsstadt is more less 100% complete. One of the final things we need to get is a pergola. Some people, right, I think I said when I was like doing the upstairs that, oh, we don't need it, we like lying out in the sun, this gets the best sun in the whole property, which it does. I forgot how hot it gets here. Like in July, we literally couldn't even go outside. And the comment section, the YouTube comment section is always right. Everyone's like, you are gonna need shade and shelter for that area. It is crazy hot. So the last thing, we'll probably get it for like next summer, is a little pergola just going up around and covering this area. I think that would look super good as well. We are about to go in here for the evening and shut off. I actually turned my desk the other way. Kind of helps to like break up the monotony, change things up a little bit. But I'm gonna sit down there for the evening. I always just close that blind. It's like permanently closed. I got a little app on my phone. It's just called Progress and tells you the percentage of the year that is over and done with. The year is 68.8%. Done with. There is still 30% left of the year to go. With all that's happened this year— we have competing, finishing the Lipsett, getting engaged, flying around the world, getting my physique to the best condition ever possible— honestly feels like 10 years in one. Like, it's been a crazy year. It's been probably the best year of my life. I'm not just saying that. There's like, you know, the last 2 years before that, they were amazing as well, but this year just really seemed significant for me and real coming of age, if that's the right word. So I was kind of feeling when I got back from holidays, I was like, oh man, you know, it's pretty much the end of the year, I'm gonna call it up here. And like sometimes we get in that feeling, we always get in that feeling around like December, we're just like, oh screw it, you know, the year is pretty much done, I'm gonna start in January. But seeing that the year is only 68% done, holy fuck, this fired me up. I'm like, I'm literally gonna sit down and set some new goals and be realistic as well and say, what can I achieve in the last 30% of the year? If that's what I did in the first 70%, what can I do in the last 30%? So I'm very excited. So I'm picking up the camera today and vlogging. I'm pumped for it. So I'm going to come up with some ideas. But my main focus, as always, I want it to be YouTube. It's always what's like calling me in my heart. It's what I like. I like— it's what I like feel I have to do. So I'm going to lock in here for a few hours. I'll see you guys in the next one. I love you. Thank you so much for your support. It just means everything to me. Let's finish the year strong. Let's go!
