The YouTubers Retreat: What Went Down !

Rob Lipsett’s vlog documents his experience at the multi‑day YouTubers Retreat held at the Andaz Hotel in Los Angeles. The video opens with Rob traveling to the venue, introducing the event’s purpose – a gathering of fitness‑focused YouTubers for networking, seminars, and social activities. Throughout day 1, Rob and fellow creators (Speaker B, C, D, Chris Jones, T‑Pain, Ross, Max, etc.) explore the hotel’s dining options (Kitchen 24, Bacon Smokehouse), share meals, and discuss the community’s supportive vibe. He highlights a surprise appearance by T‑Pain and the excitement of meeting long‑time collaborators. The vlog then shifts to day 2, covering the educational seminars, scenic views from the sun deck, and the group’s preparation for a pool party. Rob reflects on the value of stepping out of comfort zones, the importance of genuine connections, and the balance between fitness discipline and indulgence (e.g., “pazooki” pancakes with ice‑cream). The final segment captures the pool party atmosphere, a quick workout at Barbell Brigade, and Rob’s closing remarks, including humorous anecdotes about forgotten boxers and a nod to his cameraman. Overall, the video blends event coverage, personal commentary, and community encouragement, offering viewers an inside look at the culture and camaraderie of the fitness‑focused YouTube community.

What's going on everyone, welcome to today's video. We are just en route to the Andaz Hotel, super excited, and like I don't even know what to expect when I go in here because like, you know, Japan organized it, but like we're just kind of like attending it, so cannot wait. I'll check in with you when we arrive. Let's go! Like, battery, you know what I'm saying? Place is starting to fill up now. This is crazy. The crew here is so nice, and it's like everyone is so like-minded. Oh hey, there she is! You photobombing me? I was video bombing you. Like, everyone here is so like-minded, and like, you know, you can literally just talk at anyone for hours. It's awesome. Looking great. Good.
Quick word, not take too long. I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart, the bottom of my soul, for you guys being here tonight. I can't, I can't describe it. It's crazy. I want to just thank you guys so much, and I want to encourage you to, you know, the person standing to your left, the person standing to your right, meet them, say hi to them, give them hugs, shake their hand, tell them your name. That's what we're here for. We're not here to just like, you know, be in our normal comfort zone. To be here, meet someone new, have a good time, and let's get it.
Damn Ireland, the Fighting Irish in this shit.
Put the boobs up in this shit.
This is surreal. One of the people that I am yet to meet, and Chris Jones, like, I'm an OG sub, so be shooting the shit, chilling out here. This is insane. Y'all should have been here. So chilling here and T-Pain randomly shows up. Awesome. To be honest, I was more excited about meeting Chris Jones, to be perfectly I was actually like, which, which one is the best? All right, people, winding things up of day 1 of the YouTubers Retreat. I want to just say I'm so proud of this guy right here. I'll see your speeches, everything what you put together. I love to see people succeeding, so keep it real. See you tomorrow. All right, bonus footage. We are in Kitchen 24. Everyone's just getting their food on. Ross is— I think, I think he won the order. Yeah, I'm balling out. You got that red velvet milkshake?
Yep.
And then what's this, a bacon Smokehouse. Yeah, Bacon Smokehouse. Yeah, man, looks so good. Shorty got chicken waffle as well. Mine arrived. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. Yeah, boring. This looks very good. Grilled chicken sandwich, fries.
I got a similar bacon chicken sandwich and these nice crispy fries.
Oh my God, oh my God, we are going so Pool party tomorrow, so we're all, you know, getting our shred on. I went for it. Pazooki, I think is what it's called. No, it's just like pancakes with ice cream on top. Oh, get it in the middle. So me and Sarah just had our first ever pazooki and we're in a state of shock at how good that tastes. Like, that makes me want to sack off the whole fitness thing and just become a professional final eater. Like, that was— oh my God, it's got me, it's got me thinking, am I in the wrong business?
Anything else? You guys have any more questions or anything like that?
All right, so day 2 of the YouTubers Retreat, uh, just got done with the seminars and all that there. And look at— can you see that view? We are gonna get something to eat now. Oh my God, like, it's like the sun deck and everything out there. Today is the big day.
Good setup. This is delicious.
All right, so just about to grab some lunch. I gotta think of the pool party later and make a sensible decision. Try to steer clear of the bread, stick to the proteins. Can't promise anything. Take this out, right? That's the kind of like seminar main room, and then walk out here. Oh, excuse me, I just ruined that guy's photo. And we got the pool area, then a crazy good view of Los Angeles.
Either way, I think just being the type of person that is able to do that and able to stick to that speaks volumes about her character. She is a very compassionate person. Her YouTube channel is like blossoming like crazy in the past couple months, and like, that's the same thing.
I got into fitness first when I was about like 16 years old. I feel like a lot of people started working out because of sports, um, because they were like on sports teams or trying to like get better at their like actual sport that they were doing. Um, I was sort of like that except I was really terrible at every sport that I did, so my mom got me a personal trainer.
I was very into music. I was into guitar, I was in a band, like, you know, I had played guitar for like 6, 7 years, so I ended up teaching guitar, uh, in high school. Like, that was my thing, that was my passion at the time. Um, in high school, things sort of shifted just a little bit, so I started using fitness, working out 3 times a week, every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, just going to performance camp, which was— I was surrounded by athletes all day. There's baseball players, football players, and there was me that didn't play any sports. I wasn't good at really anything.
I love—
you know, I showed up every single time. There's still a program. And, uh, from there I really got hooked. Did that for about 3, 4 years. And my senior year, actually had a personal trainer, and that's when I sort of really got involved bodybuilding and wanting bigger arms and like that different style of training as opposed to strength training, conditioning training, agility type stuff. And, uh, that's where my story kind of gets a little unique, I feel like, because at this point in high school I was so—
I was obsessed.
I was like, okay, so growing up there was, uh, 5 of us kids and we had 5 kids and then my mom and my dad. And from the outside looking in, it definitely overlooked, like the living in your car, whatever it may be. Don't let— don't focus on that happening. Say, you know what, this is shaping me into the person that I'm going to be, and it's going to be part of my story one day, and I'm going to be able to impact others, whether that be your friends and your family, those that you're directly related with, or someone on YouTube. So I just want to encourage you guys, don't ever give up. Really just put everything that you have into, into something, and don't be scared to go for If you're scared, it'll never happen anyways. So stop being scared and just do it, man.
That waba looks so freaking good.
So good.
Also, big congrats to this guy. You killed it, bro.
Let's go work out.
Update is the seminar, everything, the whole kind of like little morning we just had, it was, it was awesome. Like, even though I'm a YouTuber and like a lot of the questions I would already kind of know it's still— I still like learned something. I still like, you know, found it beneficial. And just being in that room with so many like-minded people, it was genuinely awesome. I ain't just saying that. So now we went from the Andaz to Barbell Brigade, so I'm gonna get a really quick workout in, then the pool party starts later on in the evening. All right, so on to the final leg of the event. We are at the pool party. Hey, what's up, bro? Welcome to the vlog. So we're at the pool party and it is awesome. Like, everyone's winding down, having a drink, like, you know, getting a bit— what's up? I was hella tired, like, just because from meeting so many people, it's got like an expo, you do get tired quite quickly. But I just got a drink into me there and, you know, I don't drink often. So yeah, no, I'm starting to pick back up a little bit. So I'll show you around the pool party anyways and let's have a good evening. We are just about to take a dip in the pool just for the drone shot.
Appreciate it, bro.
Thank you so much, my cameraman for this evening. Thank you so much, we appreciate that, man. Oh, override fame, that's how it works. See, Ross just wants to get a piece of that pizza. Post-com feels. See, he's taking that home, he's going to go to bed with that. So So that is the end of the YouTubers Retreat weekend. I am finishing off my night with this guy. No, but for real, I'm actually— we're about to go out and I forgot my boxers, so Max is giving me a pair. Hopefully he's gonna give me some used ones because, you know, I'm kind of like a Craze fan and stuff like that. Maybe if he gives me some used underwear, I can set some PRs and deadlifts and stuff. This is getting weird. Good night, keep it real. I'm outta here.
