Alright, so we're gonna start this video off with a little bit of a talk, okay? You know, I'm a big fan of the saying, "Evolve or fizzle out and die." And in life, progression is kind of everything. A bodybuilder aims to improve their physique year after year. A powerlifter aims to get stronger. A business aims to take in more revenue year after year. You always want to have something to work towards. You know, setting a goal and achieving it is is an amazing feeling. You also have to keep up with the others. What's that saying? It's like, it's like, if you can't stand the heat, get the fuck out the kitchen. Either way, you're probably wondering where I am, and we're in UCD, and I'm picking up someone that's going to help me take this channel up a notch. I love the feeling of full tank petrol. It's like having 100% battery in your phone. Anyways, let's go grab some coffee. Hey, can I just get, uh, a macaron, please? Uh, I'll go for regular. Oh no, this is pure cane sugar, not sugar-free. All right guys, so this is Ben. Do you want to just quickly introduce yourself?
What's up guys, my name is Ben Keeley. I'm a YouTuber too, but I do a lot of videography. And I know what you're thinking, you're like, how did this guy get to work with Rob Lipsett? And trust me, I'm thinking the exact same thing too, but I am so excited.
No, like honestly, thank you, but we've kind of been on each other's radar for a while. But Ben is 19, okay? Yeah, and you know, he's in college and One thing that's crazy about this generation, like when I was like 17, 18, 19, all anyone cared about was like drinking and getting wasted and stuff. And now there's like this new generation of younger guys, younger girls, and they're so ambitious. It's like, it's like the entrepreneur generation or something. So like, I'm gonna, you know, teach Ben what I wish, or tell Ben what I wish someone told me when I was his age. But yeah, so we're gonna be working together over the next couple of months and I can't wait. And of course, I'm gonna link Ben's channel if you want to like find out more about him down below. He traded his guns for love, but he's caught in the crossfire and he keeps waking up, but it's not to the sound of birds. All right guys, just thought I'd quickly show you something I'm working on here, and it is the new LF Designs. So that is the kind of new logo that will be going on them. And then I'm just playing it safe with some black and white. Got the Keep It Real there as well. And people ask me, I put this on like my Snapchat and Twitter and stuff, and people are like, did you use the same designer as Alphalete? Shadi, yes I did. And I just wanna talk about that. It's like, that is the cool thing about being with Alphalete. Like, the people behind it, like we're all mates and we all look out for each other. You know, it's crazy to think that I'm sponsored by a company where I can go to their designer to get help with my personal line. So like, it's just a blessing and it's just cool. And my manufacturer said they are starting, you know, making the line, putting it all together on the 7th of October. So it should be ready shortly after that. I'll have it to you guys as soon as possible. As always, appreciate the support.
If I slip into the ocean, swallow me up in one motion though. She's my queen, I show devotion. Where's my lifeline, Mr. Bonesaw? I ain't ready to let go now. I ain't ready to let go. I ain't ready to let go. I ain't ready to let go now. Ready to let go now. Ready to let go now.
All right, so we're just finishing the gym. Had an epic session. I think it's just because both of us are on flying form. I actually didn't get a great sleep last night, but whatever, I'm buzzed. So now the two of us are starving. We're going to one of my favorite places to eat. We're going to Zizi's in Dundrum and we're going to get our pizza on. I cannot wait to get pizza inside me. Also, I know I'm gonna get asked what camera is being used now, and it's a Sony A7 Mark II. I butchered that, didn't I? What's it actually called?
It's Sony A7S Mark II.
Okay, A7S, and, uh, it's like a 35mm lens. Millimeter.
What?
Oh, come on, I'm not a camera expert, like, give me a break. What's it called?
Uh, it's a Sigma 35mm f/1.4.
You heard the man. But yeah, we were just looking back at like some of the footage there, and like, it's just so easy on the eye. So anyways, time to go in here now and get our pizza on. Are you ready for some HD pizza? And I'll get a side of tenderstem broccoli and some mixed leaf tomato spring onion salad and green beans as well. And then which one— we get a starter as well just for the table? Um, what's a good starter? What would you recommend? The arancini? Oh, here we go. Oh yeah, they sound good. Yeah, go for them. Sweet, that's everything. Yeah, thanks so much. Yeah, I love this place because it has like the nutritional value, but I've eaten like nothing today, and I've also upped my calories to around 3,000 because, you know, my weight has stabilized. I'm also having a few low weigh-ins, like, you know, down a bit. So, you know, definitely that is a sign that it's time to up calories. And like I said, I've not eaten much today, so So I decided while we're waiting, I just pick a topic to talk about, and that's intermittent fasting on a bulk. Okay, I actually get asked about this quite often, and it's really— it would actually be good for people like me who have ridiculous appetites, who can't even control their appetite on a bulk. Like, I find it very hard to stay within 3,000 calories, and you know, I don't need much more because people often eat too much, more than they need when they're bulking, you know, and it just stops becoming a lean bulk. But the only drawback would be like for optimal muscle protein synthesis, you want to eat like at least 3 to 4 meals a day and space it out. But that's really, you know, it's not the biggest thing. Like it's not, you gotta look at the bigger picture and that's total daily intake regardless of time. But so like if you just like, you know, you find it hard to stay within your calories, then intermittent fasting on a bulk is absolutely perfect. And you know, sometimes I might even do that myself. Okay, time for a proper order. Last time we were here, I got like— I was like, cutting and I got like chicken breasts and potatoes. That ain't no fun. But this time I got like a proper pizza, pulled pork, pepperoni, everything. But you know, do not forget your veggies even when bulking. So we got like broccoli, green beans. Ben got the same and a side salad too. So it is time to devour this. So clean plates all around. I don't know if I'm like, you know, embarrassed or proud that we finished all that in 15 minutes. Like, I told you I can eat. Like, if I was doing a 10K challenge, I would say I'd do it pretty easily. Bold statement, but I don't know, we'll see. Comment down below if you'd actually want to see that, because it's kind of like a YouTube rite of passage and I've never done it. Anyway, so I'm finished up here, get out of here. All right guys, so after me and Ben parted ways, I just got into office mode and just Got a ton of work done, but I'm finishing up the vlog here. I think it's just very important to— yes, the quality of the channel will improve over time, you know, things will get bigger and better, but I think it's important to always stay true to your roots. Like, I'll always be doing the personal vlogging, me and you holding the camera and just talking to it, as at the end of the day, that's kind of beauty of YouTube, just, you know, the kind of personal vibe to it. So I'm wrapping things up here. Me and Ben had such a blast. Creating some content today. We'll be doing plenty more in the future. Hope you enjoyed. I'm just loving making videos right now. Like I told when I started this bulk, like, kind of views and everything would go down, but views are at like an all-time high. And just, I think like right now the support from you guys is just, is just awesome. So I'll see you in the next video. Got some cool stuff planned for this weekend again. Keep it real. See you then.
