Hey, what's going on everyone? So welcome to today's video. So the last video you would have seen would have been me in Los Angeles. I was gonna put up one more LA vlog, but I just wasn't quite happy with it, so I decided to leave it. This week, um, it's been a busy week and I've been kind of like settling in back at home, like unpacking, doing my apartment stuff, a couple meetings. I've actually started my first MMA class as well, so be looking forward to those vlogs coming soon. And then I've just been hitting the gym and getting back into a routine. So now over the next couple of weeks, I'm not traveling, and I'm so happy to say that. Like, I'm just really enjoying being at home. So October is going to be like a really good kind of month of training and nutrition and just being on track with everything. So today we're going to do chest-focused push day. Over these coming few weeks, I am also going to be really focusing on chest because I do think it's a weak point that I need to bring up. So my overall total weekly volume is going to go up on chest. Think of that as just increasing your total workload. So I'm going to be doing 2 to 3 chest sessions per week. And the reason for increasing frequency is it's just easier to distribute your volume over the course of a week. So imagine if I was trying to bring up volume on my chest, I was trying to do it all in one day. It's going to be very difficult. So I'm going to be doing it over the course of 2 to 3 days. So I'm going here now, hit a session at my own little mecca, Raw Gym Salzburg. Let's get into it. Alright guys, so hope you enjoyed that little edit by Jake. Again, I'm hoping to work with him again. I'm gonna link all his details down below. And so now I'm feeling good, like, and I'm so happy to to just be back in the domain. And I honestly think, I'm saying maybe just me being optimistic, I think this year I'm going to bring my best physique ever. Maybe I should compete again, who knows? But so anyways, just time for a little bit of post-workout chat. So a couple of things, okay? Quick one is new Alphalete line just went live. This is a clothing company that yes, I'm endorsed by, I'm sponsored by, but it's like I'm best friends with like the owner and all the people that work. With the company, so it doesn't even seem like that. But yes, this is the new Lifestyle Tank and the new joggers. Some of the features include it is a nice kind of oversized fit, tight bottoms, but when you're doing like overhead movements, like you probably saw me doing overhead dumbbells, so you can reach up and it doesn't like completely go halfway up past your belly button. And again, hides the bulge, very important. But, um, so that's that. And then another thing I want to talk about, right, is, okay, summer's over, okay? Summer was a lot of fun, right? Had a laugh, you know, made some crazy memories, but now it's time to get to work. So one thing I'm thinking about putting together is, of course, I can use Raw Gym for seminars and events. So I'm thinking about putting on an event end of October, start November, okay? And it would have me talking about, I don't know, YouTube, social media marketing, physique, bodybuilding, whatever. I would have maybe someone talk about nutrition. Get, uh, there's a few nutritionists that I'm a big fan of, uh, I love their work. I get them talk about that. I'd have someone come in and talk about cooking. Again, I have people in mind for all this, but I don't want to name names. I would have some from the MMA community. Again, I'm getting into that now, so I have a few connections there. I'd have someone from a rugby background come in. Again, rugby is how I first ever picked up a weight. They could talk about their time of playing like under-13s rugby to now playing for Ireland. I could have even bodybuilders, competitors, everything. So it would just be, it would be like a seminar but a whole kind of day. It would be like a summit. It would just be like the ideal lads and even girls day. So just getting a feel for it, putting that out there. Would you go to that? What would you think about it? It would be like an all-day event. Again, I'd have NutriQuik give everyone lunch. Myprotein would give everyone supplement packs. I think it would just be an awesome day. So I'm just getting a feel for that Now I've got to run into town to a meeting, so let's get this vlog underway. Okay, so just about to run into this meeting now. Yes, I go to meetings in hoodies and sweatpants. What you see is what you get. So this should go on for maybe like, I don't know, 30 minutes, 45 minutes. So I'll see you guys then. I'm gonna get something to eat. Okay, people, so meeting all done. Productive stuff and exciting times ahead for the channel. Always good to like get out and about, network, just sit down, have a chat with some cool, awesome people. More on that another time, but I'm gonna stay in town now. We're gonna go to Bryan Thomas. We're gonna pick up something that I've been meaning to pick up for a while. Okay, so two things. I got what I came to get. Another thing is kitchen appliances, my God, they excite me, and I know that's very sad. I'll show you exactly what I got when I get home, but another thing is, it's also October now, and my God, you can so feel it. It's kind of nice. Like, yeah, I love summer, I'm definitely a sun type of person, but there's something nice and like, I don't know, it's like comforting and cozy about winter and the cold weather. So I love when it's like, it's sunny out but it is like a crispy day. Dublin, I'm feeling you. Anyways, I'm gonna get home, show you this, use it, it's gonna be lit. Another really quick one before we take off on our way home is the podcast I'm listening to today is one of my favorites. It is Sigma Nutrition, which is hosted by Danny My name is Shannon, and today's topic is with someone called Rob Lipsett, and it's talking about looking at nutrition as a 24-hour process instead of worrying about the minute details, which is something that I often remind people to do on this channel. And podcasts, if you're someone who drives around a lot like me, I'm constantly going into town for meetings and it takes me about 25 to 30 minutes to get into town. So 30 minutes driving in, parking, 30 minutes driving out. In that space of time, I can listen to a whole podcast, a whole seminar, some audiobook, and I'll completely learn about a topic in that space of time. So if you drive a lot, if you commute, get into the podcast, expand your knowledge. On that note, recent podcast I did with Chase Tuning of Ever Forward Radio has just came out. In it we talk a lot about kind of just mindset, self-development, stuff like that. So I'm going to link that right in the description box below. And the reason why I like podcasts so much and I like doing them so much is with these vlogs, yeah, you get to see what I'm like and everything, but oftentimes they're on the fly, you know. It's me working out, then it's me going to a meeting, you know, it's me cooking or something, and I don't get to sit down and talk about a topic for a good straight 45 minutes to an hour. So that's what this podcast is. Go check it out, link below. Let's head home. Okay, so you guessed it, I got a Vitamix, Vitamix, whatever. You know you're getting very old when you get so, so excited over kitchen appliances. I was in Brenton, I was just buzzing. But, um, so yeah, basically Christian and Max both convinced me to get one of these. They've got a pretty hefty price tag. They usually go for around €600. I got this on sale for a really good price, so I'm going to see now in a minute if it's worth it. Uh, hopefully so. And basically, I used to always make shakes on this channel because I think they're not only great for a quick meal on the go, breakfast in the morning, a snack, and carry them around with you, but they also make it really easy to get in a lot of fruit and veg, which I know a lot of people struggle with. Or even if you struggle with getting in protein, You just put in 2-3 scoops and knock out a huge portion of your protein intake a day. So I really think they're great for most people, especially for hitting your calorie and macronutrient goals. So now today I've eaten like fro-yo, crap, and I just had like a protein bar for breakfast. So I really need to get some veggies and some micronutrients in. So we're going to do kale, which I do not like, but it's very nutrient-dense. So I use this in shakes. We're gonna do kale, mango, a banana, some raspberries, and then some vanilla cream flavor. The Whey link is in the description box. So let's do this. And I'm also going to use some almond milk as well. By the way, this is not sponsored before someone says so. I went and just bought this myself. Alright, moment of truth. Blended up very well. Oh man, that is smooth. Oh my God, it was worth it. I'm gonna make a big dramatic thumbnail like, was it all worth it? It was. So expect to see a lot more shake recipes on this channel from now on. Next coming up in a couple of weeks, I'm actually really excited for it. It's gonna be very training nutrition based. Also starting MMA as well. I'm probably gonna include that in the next vlog. And yeah, it's gonna be awesome. So be sure to like, comment, subscribe. I'm gonna finish up my evening here, finish up the video here. See you in the next one. Keep it real. Peace.
