Hello. Hello. I was asked to write a speech on what Christmas means to me, Rob Lipsett. Yes, I'm as shocked as you are. I'm the bloke who dumps his girlfriend before Christmas just so I don't have to get her a present. I thought that was a joke. I'll be honest, the first thing that came to my head when I asked yourself the question at hand was, to me, Christmas means college, Black Ops, and some New Abercrombie. And as I dwelled on it, I realized that she is a special time of year. Yes, I actually just said that. A family in New York and London, and they bothered coming all the way back to old Dublin for a slab of turkey and some poor old Christmas crackers. That's got to mean something. Never really was a fan of Christmas crackers. Bang! Measuring tape. Fantastic. Christmas is also one of the few times a year when we can go home and catch up with our friends in the local.
I mean colleagues, of course.
So go home and use your Christmas well. Really enjoy it. Because we all have to come back here after, and it's a long stretch to the next break. Merry Christmas, keep it AMDG, little mate.
