What Have I Been Up To

In this informal daily vlog, the creator walks viewers through a full day in Dublin, beginning with a brief mention of a recent obstacle‑course injury and a plan to enjoy the heat wave. He starts the morning handling invoices and bills, then shares his quick‑grab breakfast routine—protein shakes, bars (favoring Probarley Toffee Vanilla and Caramel Hazelnut) and a stack of supplements. He discusses revamping his e‑commerce website, emphasizing a shift from flashy designs to ultra‑simple, conversion‑focused layouts based on his experience working with online stores. After a shareholders/academy meeting about an upcoming course, he heads to the gym for an upper‑body workout, demonstrating variations (standing bench press, tension‑increasing chest press) and stressing personal comfort over strict form. The vlog then moves to personal reflections on success, laziness, and the need to stay challenged. Later, he enjoys an evening cold‑water swim with friends, returns home for a balanced dinner (bacon, turkey breast, vegetables, rice) while noting macro‑ and micronutrient tracking. The video concludes with a major announcement: the Alphalete tour has been confirmed, starting in Dublin and traveling to London, Amsterdam, Chicago, New York, and Toronto, with tentative start date August 3. He invites viewers to comment and ends with a friendly sign‑off.

Alright, good morning everyone, welcome to the vlog. If you're wondering why I got like a few scrapes, I'm looking a little bit rough, I did like an obstacle course over the weekend. Long story, I'll tell you it again sometime, you'll see the video. But, so anyways, right, okay, plan for today is basically there's like a heat wave in Dublin right now, the weather is amazing, okay, yesterday was so good, meant to be same again today, so I'm gonna get all my work done and then I want to like go swimming and eat ice cream, just do summery stuff, okay. Okay, because it's such a nice day. So we're starting off the morning with— I am just doing like invoices, bank stuff, like paying some bills, and then I got a meeting in Raw Gym in about an hour, and then I gotta work out. Then I'm gonna see what other fun we get up to, right? So sit back, relax, enjoy the video, give it a thumbs up, and I'm also gonna get some breakfast now. Alright, so a lot of the time when I'm in a rush in the morning, I'll just have something like a protein shake or a protein bar. I got a lot to choose from, of course, but like Some people are like, oh, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and really the most important thing of the day is what you eat in the entire day. If you have a quote-unquote healthy breakfast and just eat crap the rest of the day, it doesn't solve all your problems. So sometimes I'll just have one of these in the morning. It ticks all the boxes for me. Protein, fiber, tastes good. So my favorite by far is definitely these, the Probarley Toffee Vanilla. And the caramel hazelnut. So, gonna get one of these into me and then we are going to get ready for the day and try look less Megan. Okay, see if you can see that. That is like 10 or 12 pills. Some people tell me they have such problems like swallowing pills. I just find it so easy, but check this out, like Gone. Maybe that comes with like how good I am at eating challenges. I don't know. And another one of them is coming soon. I reckon I'm gonna do it before the end of July. Alright, so I'm just finishing up a bit of work this morning, and yes, I go to work wearing no top and a pair of cotton lounge shorts. It's absolutely amazing. But, um, so one of the things I was talking about is I've I am revamping my website. And you know, I've got a lot of experience in e-commerce over the last couple of years, not only for myself, I've worked for different companies that operate on an online store basis. And it's something that I'm kind of into as well. And it's really done like a 180, whereas like in the past it was all about having like a really flashy website and like, you know, making things like super cool and stuff. And I think that's actually gone. People have realized it's ineffective and it's over the top. And nowadays the thing to do is to make a super super simple website. Because I remember I actually worked for a company and they were having a big problem is they weren't converting sales, but they were getting website hits. And their website was really complicated and people were like, yo, I wanna buy your product, but I literally don't know how. So now the thing to do is have like a pretty plain and simple website because ultimately you want people to go on, say, okay, you know, I wanna buy this, This is how you do it. Enable the customer for them to just click buy as easy as possible. So that's what I'm currently doing. I'm just getting rid of a few things on my current site and just breaking it down a little bit. So that's my tips for anyone who wants to get into online business. It's something that I'm passionate about. I've done talks on before. It's something that you can start with little to no investment, which I think is just like mind-blowing depending on like how far you can go with it. And but yeah, so make it simple and just make it easier for the customer to buy the product. So now I am going to close this laptop. I'm gonna go get a shower, I'm gonna get dressed, and we are going to go outside and start the day. Okay, so just got finished with the meeting there, uh, that was with the other shareholders, and it was more to do with the academy side of things. Basically, uh, the first course is filling up, so we're looking at a second course. There are 6 weeks to go, so if you're looking for a spot, I'm gonna put the details up here where to email and also in the description box. But now that's out of the way, It's kind of like, it's tough to like sit down for an hour and then like go straight into a session. So I'm going to wake up a little bit, you know, do some stretching and then hit this session. What's up? Back in the gym, hitting an upper body session after a long weekend. It's like that first session back is always kind of tough. Once you get out of the way, you know, it's clear sailing from there. So I'm starting off with just some chest support and row, hitting the back. And what I've actually started doing recently is not sitting on the bench, but putting it down really low and doing it standing. Thing like this. Feels really good. Try it out. So warming up here. One little thing, right, I want to say is that if like, yo, you see me doing little variations like sitting or standing, all those like tiny little variations, they're not gonna make like a massive difference. So the takeaway point is just do what you personally feel best doing. Because yeah, it's the same movement whether I'm doing it sitting or standing. So play around and find out what feels best for you. So now we're on to chest press, but we'll do a bit of a variation. We've got these. It's like just to make it look like we know what we're doing. But yeah, no, seriously, this is just going to increase the tension and it's going to make it harder at the top of the movement. This is a fun workout, isn't it? Yeah, sometimes you need this to like, you know, when you're just not feeling this, like, let's go and just have a bit of fun. Like, yeah, exactly. Back at home, just chilling. This little Harry Potter thing is starting to get to me. But anyways, this is how you know you love oats when you literally buy 2.5 kgs of it. It's like my normal, you know, it's like your normal container of oats. This is what I get from Myprotein. So sometimes I like fill this up with that. All right, people, it's a bit of an update on the day. It's pretty late in the day and this keeps happening to me, okay? Basically, I'll start vlogging today and then the day will go by and I'll just stop vlogging. I think the reason for that, why that keeps happening, is this: Let me explain in the car. So basically, oftentimes when someone takes some time off YouTube, it's like, oh, there's something wrong, they're in a bad mood. And that's not the case at all. If anything, it's like the opposite. Like, for me, it's just like everything seems to be going a bit like too well, and it's kind of like, honestly, like, just stick with me, okay? It's like that saying, it's like you've probably heard it a lot, it's like success, or whatever you define success at, is very hard to attain, and then once you get it it's passing you by. Like, it's temporary. Like, it is going. So you gotta work always to maintain it, but it's like a lot of times people get comfortable and it starts to slip away from them and they get lazy. And I think the last 2 weeks or so, I'm just feeling a little bit lazy. I feel like I haven't been doing enough, and I feel like I've been a little bit too, ah, you know, hey, things are going okay, you know, you know, this is happening, that's happening, it's all good. And I think I need to challenge myself a little bit more. I don't know, it's just me talking to the camera. Please excuse the Harry Potter scar. I'm hoping it's gone tomorrow. Either way, update is I'm just about to go for an evening swim with the boyos. Um, something I've started loving to do is evening swims. There's just something like really calm and relaxing about them. Um, so that's what we're gonna do now. And yes, I actually kind of like cold water. I know, I'm a freak. All right, swim done. There's something about going for a swim in Dublin, you feel like you're getting away with murder when it's this nice. But honestly, it's so cold, it's good. Boys, what do you think? Refreshing though, after, after a heavy weekend. I'm hungry. I already want ice cream. It feels so nice to get home, get into dry clothes, get into my warm house, cook up a warm meal. I'm just like— I'm seeing those— one of those grateful moods again. Uh, everyone gather around and look at the dinner I cooked. It is serious. Bacon, turkey breast, vegetables, because we eat our micronutrients on this channel, and then some white rice. Oh yes, we got the macros, we got the micros, we got everything. I'm gonna finish this vlog here. Thank you so much for watching. I will see you in the next one. Crap, hold on, wait, big announcement, okay? Alphalete Tour literally got confirmed today, okay? So me and the rest of the Alphalete team, we're starting in Dublin, okay, which is like very dear to my heart. Starting in Dublin, London, Amsterdam, Chicago, New York, Toronto. Comment down below if you stayed till the end of this video and you're hella excited for the content that's gonna come. So I've yet to confirmed, like, you know, exact dates, but I'm pretty sure it starts on August 3rd. More details to come. Oh, I'm so excited, I can't wait! Especially like the fact that I get to show everyone around this beautiful city that I love so much. So anyways, I'll see you in the next video. Keep it real, peace!
