What's going on everyone? Welcome to today's full day of eating. It is about 7 AM. I know it looks like midnight. That is Ireland in the winter. We are starting off with some breakfast today, and like I say in all my full days of eating, I intermittent fast in the morning or just stick to kind of a mainly protein-based meal. So look at this, what we got going on here. So we got low-fat turkey sausages, we got bacon medallions. Again, they're mainly just protein, and we got some egg whites over here. So it's kind of like a healthy fry-up. Linda even put a little bit of garlic in the pan to flavor it. There is a yolk in the egg whites. The full day of eating is ruined. Just kidding, the yolk is actually one of the most nutritious parts of the egg. The reason I mainly stick to egg whites is just because it allows me to have more fat in my diet in different areas. So it's kind of like, what would you rather? Would you rather some whole eggs? Would you rather some peanut butter or some avocado? And nothing wrong with whole eggs, very healthy. But yeah, these egg whites are now contaminated. Gonna do some cracked black pepper. I think that makes food look really good as well. Like, it makes it look a bit like fancy, a bit classy. Some salt, and then we're also gonna do some garlic. It's nice on everything. Yes, this is cooking along nicely, and it should be done really quickly. That's, that's an OG trick. So I let the cheese melt in, but it's 50%. It is actually good macros. We got all this from Aldi. Yeah, and I let the cheese melt in, ladies and gentlemen. Okay, so this breakfast is a little bit bigger than usual. We even got a side of beans. Not gonna eat all them, and we are splitting this. 4.9 fiber and 4.1 protein. That is excellent macros right there. All right, so this is the finished product. Of course, Linda had to put a smiley face on it. Yeah, and we're using, uh, low sugar ketchup and some sriracha sauce as well. So yeah, I'm gonna eat this now. It looks absolutely delicious. Then we're gonna start today. So yeah, give video a thumbs up and let's get into it. That was a decent crack, mate. It's real pro game if you can do it with one finger. It is the depths of winter in Ireland right now, so because it's a clear day, we're just like, we're taking advantage of that. We're getting outside and doing a walk. I try to do a walk every day, get my steps in, at least 10,000. I aim for usually 15,000, and that's like kind of the form of cardio I'm doing at the moment. And again, it's great to clear the head, get outside, be one with nature. So yeah, that's what we're doing. Stayed me with this hat. Maybe leave the hat for the camera. So we're just about to begin our walk. I also packed my drone, so I'm gonna fly it at the end of the pier because it is honestly one of the nicest days it's been in a while. Take a look at that! Not a single cloud in the sky. What are you doing? But yeah, so right, we're gonna get our step on. Then we're gonna get coffee afterwards too. So we're at the end of the pier and there's literally no one here. It's such a nice day. So I'm gonna go fly the drone now and you guys are gonna get a better view at what Dun Laoghaire Harbour looks like because most of you guys are not even from Ireland. That's why I'm giving you a better look at the place. Got the drone right here. Okay, let's send this off. All right, people, so this is Dun Laoghaire Pier, one of the 8 great wonders of the world. And so yeah, we're just walking off our breakfast now, um, again clocking in good few steps. We just walked to the top of the pier there. Look how beautiful today is, insane, so calm, so peaceful. Walking to the top of the pier and then walking back, and we're gonna go get coffee in one of my favorite places ever. So stay tuned for that, and then we're gonna go hit the gym. So yeah, good vlog incoming. All right, so coffee time. I went for a skinny cappuccino and we got an oat latte because she's a hipster, and we're at place called Hatch. Again, it's one of my favorite places to go to. It's just beside Dun Laoghaire. We actually just walked here. We're gonna split a protein bar, chocolate brownie flavor. It's gonna go well with the coffee. And, um, if I'm like tracking, I'll just put this down as like a Starbucks skinny cappuccino. It's going to be roughly the same. And again, I'm not like prepping at the moment for a photo shoot or for a show, so you know, I'm not too extreme or too rigid at the moment. So yeah, gonna enjoy this now and then see you guys in the gym. All right, so just before we head home, I want to make things a little bit different today, so I'm gonna try and make an acai bowl. I picked up some açaí. I'm definitely saying açaí wrong, but a member of the gym, actually James Norton, he owns this place, a health store, and it's got some really cool stuff in it. So we went in, picked up some of this açaí, and yeah, so I'm gonna hit the gym and then have like— I'm gonna try and make like a protein açaí bowl for my post-workout meal. So yeah, exciting times. Alright people, it's finally time for the gym. Look, it's leg day, right? So we're gonna have to summon the power of Max Tuning's massive quads, his calves too. We're double scooping this bitch, we're putting it in the shaker, and we're also putting some creatine in there as well. You know, Ghost products, if you want 20% off your entire order, code Lipsett, link in the description box. So right, let's go full max power mode. Sorry, duck. All right guys, welcome to today's workout. So in this voiceover, we're going to go over my current training split the calories and macros I'm hitting in today's video, and also my future plans in terms of my physique goals. First off, I'm back on my favorite split, which is a legs push-pull split, available on roblipsett.com if you want to check that out. This is the split that I've found most success with over the years and is what I enjoy the most. I've tweaked it to my preference a little bit, so for example, throwing in an extra ab session per week and also adding in some shoulder work to my pull days. I'll go into more detail on that in some upcoming videos. But what you are seeing here is a good old-fashioned leg day. So the calories that I hit in this video are exactly 2,300, which is ideal for me and my goals right now. But in terms of macros, I actually end up going over on protein and fat and under on carbs later in the vlog. But honestly, this is fine in terms of a hierarchy of importance when it comes to fat loss and muscle gain. Total calories is the main thing, followed by protein intake, and then carbs and fats can be more so down to personal preference. The macros I end up hitting in this video are 238 grams of protein, which is way more than I need, 71 grams of fat, and 154 grams of carbs. Ideally, I would aim to hit around 180 to 200 grams of protein, 250 carb, and around 60 fat. I'll also put my current physique up on the screen for reference. I really don't mind going over so much on protein, even though it's completely unnecessary. Protein is the macronutrient that helps with satiety and hunger the most. So as you guys know, my hunger, my appetite is just ridiculous. So a high protein intake kind of suits me, to be honest. In terms of my goals for the upcoming months, I have a big life change happening next month. It's going to be a big surprise for the channel, but it's going to be really good and very exciting. I just don't want to give anything away. I just want to come out and to say it in a vlog, or show you in a vlog, but that'll be at the beginning of January. So until then, I'm focused on just staying consistent as possible in the gym and with my diet, and then I'm gonna start prepping for a show around February. It'll be a 3-month prep, and I'll compete around May or June, most likely in a comp like BodyPower. But anyways, hope you're enjoying the video. Leave it a thumbs up if you are. Let's all finish the year out strong. Ready to put it down. Started the fight, I'm already forgotten, but they won't forgive me now. You really ain't ready now. You haters just in the crowd. All right, people, leg day over and done with. Okay, and all I could think about in that workout is the açaí bowl that I'm about to go home and make. So stay tuned for some açaí goodness. Comment below how many times I've said açaí in this vlog. Probably saying it wrong, but either way, I'm really hungry. One thing with my leg days are these are the days that I actually don't do intermittent fasting, as when I do a leg workout on an empty stomach Oftentimes halfway through I kind of crash a little bit. I feel a little bit nauseous and lightheaded. So right now I'm super hungry. So let's go home and watch me eat. Alright everybody, so post-workout meal. This is the acai bowl apparatus. Okay, so we are gonna go for the acai berries. They're frozen and we're gonna blend in with them 2 scoops of Ghost Whey protein, get that protein hit. It says here put in 75ml of liquid. So we're gonna go for skim milk. Then we're also gonna blend that with half a banana, and then we're gonna use the other half for toppings. This isn't art, this is a science, okay? And then for the rest of toppings, we're gonna go for some Nuts 'n' More salted caramel peanut butter. This is gonna be so good. Salted caramel peanut butter, raspberries, strawberries, and just, just for the look, I'm gonna like sprinkle some oats on top as well. Let's see how we get on. 3, 2, 1. Blender sucks. It looks like it's on fire. Blender's like, please kill me, no more. I'm like, still got more açaí berries to grind. Oh my God, we actually did so well. Okay, it actually went really well. Um, so there's the mix, but we're gonna, we're gonna show it to you out in the bowl all laid out nicely with the toppings and everything. So yeah, I'm proud of this. I should open up like, you know, there's like Insta cafes, they serve like avo toast. Yeah, Rob Lipsett eats café. Yeah, it would be like the avo toast and Yeah, see, balls. Great. It is so good. I thought it was going to be too runny. Oh my God, yes. So again, I'm actually super proud of that. That looks amazing. Got 2 scoops of protein in there, very nutrient-dense, loads of fruit, and then nice high-carb meal for after training as well. So yeah, you're gonna enjoy this, and then I'll see you guys at the next meal. Alright people, we have made it to the final meal of the day. We're going for something super simple, right, just to finish things off. Mix microwave vegetable medley. Again, that's gonna help us with our fiber intake, get some micronutrients in, because micronutrients matter as well as macronutrients and calories. Gonna go for some chicken breast, finish off my protein intake for today. I prepped them earlier. And then also some green lentils, which are a great choice for a carb source because they got a lot of fiber in them and even some protein too. So we're gonna put this all together and I'll show you when it's done. Alright, so final meal of the day. Here we got the most finest gourmet microwave lentils you have ever seen in your entire life. And then believe it or not, this isn't a pint of Smithwick's, it's actually a zero-calorie lemonade. Yeah, but seriously, this is like Just a solid meal for me. I absolutely love it. It's good to finish the day off. And by the way, this is a cutting diet for me. I'm just going back to my normal eating routine, which is, you know, cardio and weight training every day, high activity level, going for walks. And then today was actually exactly 2,300 calories. So that, you know, keeps me nice and lean throughout the year. It's pretty sustainable, has enough fuel for me to, you know, train every day. And yeah, like I said, you know, it's easy to adhere to and sustain. Sustain. You know, of course, when I'm on holidays, I'll go easy and enjoy myself. But yeah, so this is like a typical diet for me when I'm not like bulking up, gaining weight, or like doing an extreme cut. So hope you enjoyed it. I want to do more videos like this. This is what the channel is like raised on. It's what the channel is based on. Alright, I've been staring at this meal for too long, so I'm gonna finish up here. And but again, you know, I love doing these videos. I want to do more of them. Just always feel a little bit kind of like uninspired and low in the winter months. So bear with me, still the same old Rob, still just making my meals, recording them, and lifting away. Yeah, so yeah, I hope you guys enjoyed, and I'll see you in the next one. Keep it real.
