In this celebratory vlog, Rob Lipsett marks the achievement of 100,000 YouTube subscribers while touring New York City with his friend Sarah. The video opens with a light‑hearted comment about Sarah’s outfit before diving into an impromptu high‑volume gym session where Rob outlines his pull‑ups, chest press, lat pulldowns, and other exercises, acknowledging the non‑scientific nature of his approach. After the workout, the duo explores iconic NYC sites – the 9/11 Memorial (treated with respect), Wall Street, and the Top of the Rock – sharing personal impressions of the architecture and views. While walking, Rob recounts a recent Jordan Belfort seminar in Dublin, drawing a parallel between the difficulty of earning a first million dollars (or first 1,000 subscribers) and the "snowball effect" that makes later growth easier, using this as motivation for his channel’s rapid 400% subscriber increase. The vlog also highlights food experiences: a beef medallion Icon Meal, a Chipotle burrito with chicken and steak, and a fro‑yo treat, all framed within his fitness macro‑tracking mindset. The video concludes with gratitude to his audience, a final look at the New York skyline, and a promise to return to Dublin.

Sarah's looking so hot today. She's wearing my jumper, my tracksuit bottoms. Told you to wear my shoes for a second. Nice. It's like I'm going out with a dude. So today we have hit 100,000 subscribers. I just woke up and yeah, that put me in the best mood ever, I'm not gonna lie. I'm gonna talk about it later and like kind of come to terms with it and think about what to say about it, but first we gotta get a workout in. This place here? Yeah, Sounds Good Monsters. Real deals. It's an impressive array of energy drinks. What flavor? It's like, I don't know. Oh, that's good too. Okay, so this is what we are working with. It's actually not that bad. So basically when I'm in a kind of situation like this, I just kind of go as hard as I can, high volume, and just hope for the best. It's not a very scientific or evidence-based way to train, but it's kind of just doing what you can. So I'm probably gonna do a lot of pull-ups. There's a good chest press over there, and I'm gonna do some lat pulldowns and some biceps as well, along with some cardio. Doing what I can. Actually, you know what? I just figured that this is a shoulder press machine and a chest press. I'm gonna do chest, shoulders, back, and some isolation work. I'm gonna do lateral raises. Triceps, and maybe some bicep curls too. It's actually not bad at all. All the McDonald's and pizza. That is not fair how your abs stay so lean. Sarah getting those glute kickbacks done. Glute pushdowns, whatever. Making back gains, seriously. Throughout Sarah's lifting career, she's actually built a considerable amount of muscle. I'll put her Transformation picture here. She's gotten heavier while getting leaner, so very proud of her.
She's a beast.
Going for an Icon Meal beef medallion. Uh, popcorn, I guess. Me and Sarah, we're just pretty much walking around New York today, just being tourists. And I have to say, usually I'm not one for architecture, like, you know, usually I don't really care that much, but New York takes the cake. Like, it is truly amazing. Look at this.
Wow.
So we're gonna walk around, we're gonna continue exploring, see what we get up to.
Hello!
So we just like finished up there at the 9/11 Memorial, and I didn't want to vlog there out of respect, as you know, it's obviously a very sad thing that happened. And I think it didn't only just affect New York, I think it affects the whole world. But that said, it is a beautiful place.
It's very calm, umber.
I think that's the right word to describe it, and I definitely recommend taking a trip there. But I'm glad I got some cool shots to show you guys how beautiful it is. So we're going to continue being on our tourist hype, and I think we're going to go check out Wall Street now. Go on the lights! So we're in Wall Street now and like it is very cool. A quick little story, uh, in Dublin a few months ago my friend organized a Jordan Belfort seminar, like the actual Wolf of Wall Street, and it was one of the few seminars that I like I thought was really beneficial and worth going to. And he said, I think this is like the same as YouTube subscribers, which is kind of, you know, relevant to today's video, he said, "Your first million is gonna be the hardest million you make." And it's like your first 1,000 subscribers was without a doubt the hardest. So like, in my first year of YouTube, I remember I got 19,000 subscribers, and now in my second year of YouTube, I just hit 100K. So that's like, my maths is probably wrong, but that's like a 400% growth or something. So yeah, I just thought I'd tell that little quick story while we're here. I should probably explain why it's easier to make money after you make a million, why it's easier to get subscribers after you get 1,000. For subscribers, or like any social media following, if people click on your profile, they see 1,000, they're like, they might just click off straight away. But if they see 100,000, they'll be like, whoa, this guy's got something about him, he's obviously done something, I'll just subscribe anyways. And with the million, once you start making money, it's so much easier to keep making more because you've more to invest back into what you do. Another thing I like talking about a lot is the snowball effect. It's pretty much the same thing, how like when things pick up momentum, it just gets easier and easier. It really applies for everything in life, in my opinion. Alright, so we've been walking around for like 2 hours, if not more, and I'm very hungry. All I've eaten today is that Icon Meals, so we are going to hit up some Chipotle. This is what we got going on here. We went for a mixture, a mixture of chicken and steak. I never remember to do that. Then just the usual pico salsa, corn, little bit of cheese, and then and then an array of hot sauces here. So I think like Chipotle, you know, we don't have any. We have a lot of burrito places at home, but none are quite as good as it. So I'm gonna dig into this. All right, so just uploaded another video there, and I am just always so happy when my frequency is on point. Check this out, right? So we got today, 2 days ago, 4 days ago, 5 days ago. Love it. All right, so it's dinner time. We're getting some froyo because you know I'm a froyo addict. Look what I just saw. Serious? But like, this is like our last night in New York, so this is like— I'm definitely doing a mini cut after this, so whatever, I'm going all out. So we were gonna go for dinner, but we decided to go for a walk instead and just get fro-yo. So that's Sarah and Shade up ahead. We're just gonna walk, talk, and enjoy some fro-yo. As much as I love all this New York food, I am looking forward to getting home and tracking some damn macros. Aye, I got it! I guess for the proper New York experience, you got to take the subway at some stage. To finish off our New York trip, we were told in the comments section and in real life that we should really go to the Top of the Rock on the Rockefeller Center, that it's better than the Empire State or anything. So here we are, let's go to the Top of the Rock. Apparently that famous picture, apparently they're all Irish people. I don't know. If you know, give me a history lesson and comment down below. This is actually really cool and the staff are super nice here. Now we're on the way to the upper decks. This is the real top of the rock. Like, that view was amazing, so I know what this one's gonna be like. This is cool. This is like— like I said, I'm usually not into touristy shit, but this is amazing. Are you seeing what I'm seeing? I'm not sure if this looks as good on YouTube as it does in real life. All right guys, there's definitely no better place that I can finish off this episode in New York, this whole trip. And I just want to give a big thank you for 100,000 subscribers. It's just insane to me. And just thank you for following me along this journey. Again, just thank you. I'm blown away. See you all back in Dublin.
