Yo, what is going on everyone? Welcome to today's video. Now it is time we sat down and had a little chat, and that is sometimes my favorite thing to do on this channel, right? So now this YouTube channel, it is made up by training, nutrition, travel, what's going through my head, you know, a bit of mindset, life updates, everything, all right? So I owe it to you guys to keep you in the loop. Now last week, about 5-6 days ago, I announced that I am now signed with another sports nutrition company called Ghost Lifestyle. Now a lot of who've been with the channel for a while will have seen another supplement company called Myprotein. I was with them for a couple of years and I would, you know, regularly do photoshoots for them, you know, travel to expos with them, unboxings, all that good stuff. I posted this Instagram saying that I'm now a ghost. A lot of people had a lot of questions. Absolutely fair enough. So first thing I want to say is there— I'm so grateful for this— there's no drama or bad blood between me and Myprotein. I had some amazing times with them and they really helped me out with my career in fitness industry, as I'm sure I help them, you know, make a lot of sales as well and reach a new audience. I've seen in many industries, be it the beauty industry, the makeup industry, the fitness industry, is when a company takes on ambassadors and things, and it can go wrong. And, you know, it can— everyone airs their dirty laundry, as the saying goes. And I think that reflects terribly on both the ambassador, the athlete, and the company too. I'm really thankful there's none of that at all, and it was my decision to leave Myprotein ultimately, but you know, there's really no bad blood, no bad blood, and there's no drama there either, which, you know, again, I'm very, I'm very glad for. So why did that partnership come to an end? Okay, you've probably heard me talk about getting out of your comfort zone on this channel, right? I've done entire talks about it, I've done videos about it. I really do think it's so important. I've done a TEDx talk on doing things that scare you and doing them regularly. If you actually take anything from this video, is tomorrow or this evening, go out and do something that scares you. Have that conversation that you know you don't want to have, but you know you have to have it. Go up and, you know, talk to that guy or girl that you've had your eye on and you just want to introduce yourself. Just get started on that new business adventure you've just really been trying to launch, but you just have that feeling inside, that uncomfortable feeling that makes you not want to do it. Okay, go and do it. A weird fact about me is every day I take cold showers. Ice-cold showers, not for any, like, crazy health benefit or anything. I do it because it makes me feel uncomfortable and also wakes me up a little bit too. Every day I actually try to do things that I know I don't want to do, that make me uncomfortable. So with that said, I felt it was time for a bit of a pattern interrupt, time to change things up a little bit, you know, stir some waters, and, you know, just do something different. So I've been friends with the owners, Dan and Ryan, the owners of Ghost, and for well over a year. We've gone out, we've partied hard, and we've built a really good relationship. We got on very well with each other. Not to mention Christian and Max, who are two other faces of the company. They're two of my closest friends, and you've seen them on this channel many, many times. So you can imagine, with all these guys involved in one company, that's a lot of fun. You know, it's very organic for me. You know, I fit in there very well. And I think it really kind of sums up when I had my own booth at BodyPower back in May. So many of you guys are coming up to me like, Rob, why aren't you at the Ghost booth? And I was like, because I'm not actually signed with Ghost. So the fact that a lot of you guys, a lot of the LF Army that I love so much and that I get to meet in person, a lot of you guys, they thought, you know, I was already with Ghost. So I think that really says it all. And for the record, I think Myprotein, I just want to say again that their products are amazing. Sure, I used them for years and they're a really good company and the members of staff are all so professional. So I just, I need to reiterate reiterate that. I think this is just a good move for me. I obviously can't talk too much about the contracts because that's private, but there's really not much of a difference in them. Just with the Ghost contract, it's a lot less rigid in terms of posting, and that's, that's how I like to do things. The last thing I want to, you know, this channel become is one big advertisement. I want to use it naturally and organically. Maybe I'm in a full day of eating, you know, using, uh, making a protein shake. Maybe I'm about to go hit the gym and I'm, you know, having a scoop of Ghost Legend, right? It's just what I'm doing anyways, and it takes up a very small fraction of the video, and that is what I want it to be like. At the end of the day, I value you guys, the viewers, the most, and I want to give you guys, you know, some awesome training splits to try out, some new recipes, you know, I want to travel to different places and expos and events and let you guys in on my life, okay? I don't want to be constantly pushing products down your throat. It's just not what I enjoy doing, and YouTube is for me is about enjoyment. Like, it's about having me— it's very fulfilling for me, okay? So if you guys are enjoying it, I'm enjoying it too. Future plans: there will be a lot of events with Ghost. For example, this weekend we are going to Vegas with the whole family. And Ghost, again, it's a very original supplement company, right? They go against the norm. Their motto is rebel the status quo. So we're not actually going to the Olympia Expo, but we will have a pop-up store in Vegas in a shoe shop, okay? I just love that, right? It's different. So I'm really looking forward to that and meeting you guys in person there. And again, we will be traveling a lot more with Ghost during the year, and it's going to help me a lot break into the American market, which is obviously the biggest kind of fitness realm or fitness market in the world. So it's going to be amazing for my career in that sense. Now, like I said, I do not ask you guys for much, right? But this time all I do ask is if you want to try, right? Only if you want to try out some Ghost products, which if anyone has already tried them, they will know the quality is just second to none. It is a cut above. You can just taste that difference, you can feel that difference. So if you guys do want to try it out, the link is in the description box, or I'll put the website on screen here, and then you can use the discount code Lipsett, L-I-P-S-E-T-T. So again, I'm very confident that you will like the products, and I would suggest strongly that you try them out. You're missing out otherwise. So again, that will just reflect really well on me with the company, and I'm just after joining this company, so I really appreciate it. I was also in Mykonos last week. I had an amazing time, and I'm gonna do a guide to Mykonos, because, you know, I vlogged a little bit every day, so I'm going to put that together in a video. Maybe I'll do a sit-down video as well. I have some other topics in terms of training, nutrition, that I've realized that I've never actually spoken about on this channel, and I would love to make some videos about them. So expect them coming this week. I think that's everything. That's an update from me, guys. Thank you so much for following along on this journey with me. Like, that's what it is. It's literally a journey. It's like, you know, it's an odyssey, right? It's a series of tales and adventures. It's actually me growing up, and you guys are growing up with me. So I, I love to show you guys how I'm progressing, you know, new ventures, new partnerships like this. Uh, it really is an enjoyable thing for me to do, and I'm so grateful how supportive the LF Army is. Like, seriously, the people— I— not only the people in the comments section, the people that I actually meet in person are just some of the nicest, coolest people ever. So I'm so grateful to just have such a healthy community here on YouTube and Instagram and everywhere else. All right guys, so I'm gonna wrap things up there. As always, keep it real. I love you so much, and stay tuned for some epic upcoming adventures, right? And just, just a new chapter altogether. So again, thank you for following this journey. I'll see you next time.
