In this informal day‑in‑the‑life vlog, Rob Lipsett opens by explaining a recent lull in his content due to a storm in Ireland and a busy week of Black‑Friday work. He outlines his morning routine—black coffee, optional intermittent fasting, and a written to‑do list that he believes makes tasks feel real. Rob references Gary Vaynerchuk’s “Jab, Jab, Right Hook” philosophy, emphasizing that every email and interaction counts as a marketing touchpoint. He reads several viewer emails, offering advice on nutrition (the misconception that “clean” foods are calorie‑free, the importance of portion control and nutrient‑dense whole foods) and training (the necessity of progressive overload). He explains that he answers emails both to help people and to generate sales, inviting viewers to become clients via Lipsandfitness.com. Rob promotes his Snapchat account as a quick, unedited content channel. He and gym‑partner Kyle film a workout, discuss dangerous form observed in the gym, and solicit viewer opinions on whether it’s appropriate to correct others. After the session, Rob breaks his fast with a turkey‑and‑ham sub on 9‑grain honey oat bread, a Quest bar, and later a steak with parsnip fries and asparagus, highlighting macro balance and his intermittent‑fasting schedule. He comments on the current Vlogmas trend, stating he will not produce daily Christmas‑month vlogs in Ireland due to weather, but plans to vlog daily during his upcoming Thailand trip in December. The video ends with a teaser for future content and a reminder to stay tuned.

Hey, what's up everyone? So, haven't done a video in a couple of days and the reason for that is my life has just been pretty fucking boring. Oh, let's all go subscribe to this guy. No, but seriously, there's been like a storm in Ireland, so like I haven't been going outside and like the past week, Black Friday was like a week ago, today's Sunday, so like, you know, that past week there I was just hella busy on my laptop. I haven't really had time to do anything fun. But I decided I'd just whip out the camera today. It is Sunday, Sunday fun day, woo! So, you know, whip it out, do a bit of vlog, show you some meals, right? Day in the life, vlog, whatever. Let's go. Not too sure if I'm going to intermittent fast today. I'm going to have my morning black coffee, and usually I like decide if I'm hungry after that. Or if I want to just save my calories for later on in the day. I reckon this is honestly my favorite part of the day. When I wake up in the morning, I have some coffee and I just plan out my day. I get on top of things. I see what business emails has come my way. Obviously write out my to-do list. If you've been watching my videos for a while, you know I write out a to-do list every single day. Writing it in notes just doesn't cut it. You have to physically write it down. For some reason, it just makes it real that way and makes it more likely to happen. So yeah, you know, write a to-do list every single day, and at the end of the day, you want to have everything ticked off. My old subscribers, they know this. That is like something that I'm hugely into. And like, get a diary and like write what you want to have done on that day, like in the future. It just makes it happen, I'm telling you. Also, I was watching some Gary Vaynerchuk, he's like a social media expert. I'm sure many of you are aware of who he is. And in a recent video, he was just talking about how every email counts. Every single thing you do counts. Like for example, I am just, some guy just emailed me asking for advice and I'm giving, like I'm writing him a long response because he is probably gonna screenshot that response, send it off to his friends, be like, hey, this guy just gave me like a really Nice detailed response for free, absolutely no reason. It's like in his book, what's it called? Jab, Jab, Right Hook. You know, you gotta give, give, give, and then you take, you know, then you take back. You read the book, you understand. But so yeah, literally every single thing you do counts. Every positive step that you take will help you achieve that end goal, you know? And that's the mentality that you gotta have that will set you apart from everyone else. Here's another email I got. Hey Rob, I'm curious, how do you obtain the physique you have, i.e., a rather clean diet? Clean. Cheat meal about once a week. Work my ass off. Blah, blah, blah. Just because a food is viewed as clean doesn't mean that it doesn't contain calories. Like, for example, avocados, nuts, sweet potatoes are all viewed as very clean foods, but they're all actually very calorically dense. So if you eat too much of them, you're still gonna put yourself out of that deficit, that caloric deficit that is needed for fat loss, that is essential for fat loss. So, you know, oftentimes, this is a bit of a trick, there are a lot of quote unquote healthy, clean foods that will completely mess up your caloric intake for the day. Not saying you can't eat them and shouldn't eat them. I always recommend a nutrient-dense diet and a diet consisting mainly of whole foods, but you know, just because a food is clean, doesn't mean it's calorie-free. So whilst I do recommend, you know, your diet consists of as much whole foods as possible, nutrient-dense foods, it is not exactly about what you eat but how much you eat. Do you wanna know like one of my favorite foods ever? Sweet potatoes. I love them. But if I eat too much sweet potatoes, my carbs are gonna go through the roof. Here is another one. Uh, hey Rob, yo, I've been bulking for about 4 months now, uh, blah blah, I'm eating this amount of calories per day, I'm heading to the gym 4 times week, 2 leg sessions, 2 upper body sessions of push and pull. Nice, but not seeing enough results, and I'm not satisfied. Where am I going wrong? You need to be applying progressive overload in the gym. I gave him a little kind of like diagram just explaining it. It is simply adding weight to the bar because he said he's just kind of new to training. So, you know, that's all you really need to worry about, just that simple progressive overload. You can eat as much calories as you want, but if you are not giving your muscles sufficient stimulus to grow, ain't shit gonna happen. Maybe I should do a series about this. I should just read all my emails I get. And if you're wondering, why do you answer all these emails and stuff like that? Well, one, because I'm a nice fucking guy. Two, because one of my goals is to help as many people as possible achieve their fitness goals. And three, I want to make some sales. At the end of these questions, I answer a question and I say, hey, if you want to become a client of mine, ask as much questions as you like. I will answer every question you have. Sign up on Lipsandfitness.com. So yeah, you know, to be brutally honest with you, like I talked about, it's about making sales, boy. Alright, so I was just doing a little bit of Snapchat action there. Be sure to follow me on Snapchat. It's the easiest username ever to remember. It's just Rob Lipsett. If I ever don't like do a video for a couple of days, I'm on Snapchat because it's just so good. I have like the same amount of viewers on Snapchat as I do on these videos. So it's just like doing a YouTube video, but I don't have to edit it, upload it. It's just literally just point and click. So Snapchat, Rob Lipsett, if I ever go AWOL for a while.
That's it, come on! Oh, that's it, come on, come on! Oh, come on! Up, up! Come on, you have it, Rob! Come on, up! Try! Go, go! Come on, go! Go!
I love when you can just walk up to reception at your gym, tell them to go onto my Spotify playlist, start playing the music. Slim Shady when you're lifting, none beats that.
Rob, keep going. Up! Keep going. It's lightweight, come on.
Alright, so me and Kyle were just here and we were doing our workout and stuff like that, and there's some guys beside us and like, they were using dangerous form.
Horrendous.
Yeah, yeah, like it was really bad. And we're just wondering if it's a debate that always comes up. Should you say it to people in the gym? Is there a nice way to say it? So comment down below, should you correct people in the gym and is there a nice way to put it?
You're not done yet, come on. Come on, Rob! Pump! Pump!
Alright, so workout done. That was actually quite a good workout. Wasn't feeling it at the beginning, but just got into it. Alright, so now it's time to break my fast, and I'm gonna hit up the original meal prep company. Yeah, there's a lot of meal prep companies popping up these days, but I'm about to go to the original. We've got the goods— turkey breast and ham, extra meat. What are you saying? Alright, so next meal, turkey and ham sub, and then I'm gonna have a Quest Bask bar for dessert. Still got those pumpkin ones on deck. If you want to go for the best choice, the kind of most macro-friendly option in Subway, it's the turkey and ham. I went for 9-grain honey oat bread as well, get some fiber in there. I'm gonna dig into this now. Loving the old intermittent fasting. I'm not doing it every day, just like kind of every odd day, but, um, yeah, I'm enjoying it. All right, kind of like my dinner, last meal, finish off the day. It is going to be a big juicy steak. I'm gonna make parsnip fries out of these. Parsnips are the best substitute for french fries. Like, that whole thing is like 60 grams of carbs, so much fiber, so filling. And then some asparagus as well. Bro foods, bro foods, they're like my favorite foods. That is just what's up. Parsnip fries, steak, and asparagus. This is like my ideal type of meal here. Just take that all in for all its glory. Look how kind of well-balanced and everything is. You got your carbs, got Proteins, bit of fats, you got your micros. Alright fellas and ladies, I've noticed a lot of YouTubers are doing Vlogmas at the moment. That's pretty much where you do a vlog every single day of the month of Christmas. And some people are asking me, they're like, Rob, are you gonna partake in Vlogmas? Yes and no. And obviously I'm a bit late on the bandwagon now, and you know, these days, you know, it's freezing outside, like it's not much going on in Ireland, and, um, you know, so there's not really much to record. What you see today is pretty much what you get, you know, laptop, emails, gym, networking, stuff like that, okay? So if I did Vlogmas, it would be crapola. But when I get to Thailand on the 20th of December, I think I am gonna do a vlog every single day because, you know, it would be such a waste of opportunity when I'm like going around loads of cool islands in Asia to not vlog at all. So Vlogmas, in a way, is coming. So I'm gonna wrap things up there. Hope you like this vid. Sit tight for some action coming your way. I'll catch you next time. Keep it real.
