Okay, so I'm back with another video. The last week has just been absolutely insane, like in a good way. Like, I was looking at my planner there, and there's not a single day where I don't have like a meeting, a seminar, an event, an appearance, a podcast, an interview, something booked and written in. So yeah, that's stressful, but in a way that actually lowers my stress because, you know, I know I'm doing enough. So I'm just going to get a quick breakfast in, and then we're going to get on with the day. So welcome to today's vlog. Give it a thumbs up. Let's go. Alright, I actually haven't done a shake on this channel in so long, so I'm going to go for an iced coffee, bit of milk, bananas, creatine monohydrate because I'm just feeling ruthless this morning, some Impact Whey isolate chocolate caramel, one of the best flavors. Tastes like Rolo, and then this stuff that I can't pronounce, but it's basically like pure chocolate. Cacao. All right, so just as a bit of background to this vlog is I went to Monaco, you guys saw that. The day afterwards, I got to go to this exclusive workout/meetup thing with Jen Selter, and that was like a lot of fun. We went through like, kind of like a bodyweight circuit style workout, and it was great 'cause, you know, made me sweat a lot, got out of my comfort zone, and did something that I'm not really used to. I need to up my cardio game ASAP. And then afterwards we had a really nice lunch. It was like me, Zoe Whelan, Ros Purcell, and Evan Doherty. Zoe's like this fitness model, uh, Ros Purcell is kind of like me, she's like a social influencer, public speaker, she has her own cookbook. And then Evan is like this kick-ass photographer. Yeah, oh yeah, you have to be on it. All right guys, so we are in— what's the name of Honestly, honest to goodness. Ross said that with such intent.
Yes, you like, you definitely go like pretty much every day.
Okay, right, so what'd you get?
It's one of my favorite salads and it's called the Legend, just like that.
Oh my God. All right, and Zoe, you got— I think you got the same as me. We just got something daily. Yeah, just something with a lot of protein, bit of fiber, green. So we're gonna enjoy this now. We're so hungry after that workout. We're gonna chill out, have a nice time. I always preach surrounding yourself with like-minded, outgoing people. And there's also this epic book that I've read, it's called Never Eat Lunch Alone or something like that. And basically it's just talking about like how you should always network with people at every chance you get. So we like ate for like 30 minutes, but we ended up just sitting at that table for like 1 or 2 hours and just chatting. And we had a really good day, really good conversation. But now the next thing that I want to talk about is I got a message, okay, from a viewer. And at first I was like, oh, is this guy hating on me? But he was actually like pretty chilled and like kind of just asking me about it, and he was like saying nice things as well. He said some nice words, and then he goes, the only thing I'd like to ask is why do you send a message out to people saying how hard you work, then your vlogs you go shopping, have your hair cut, then go for a meal? I'd love to see your typical working day as it comes across like you don't do that much and you're just doing daily tasks and going to the gym and then preach a message of how busy you are. You are a really humble guy and deliver a great message, but I feel you're sharing a misleading message when you say you're busy. And like, that was like totally cool. I actually like replied being like, I completely get you, I know what you mean. But I explained that I've worked the 9-to-5 life for somebody else. I've worked like tons of crappy jobs. My first ever job, I was like a sandwich maker in Spar. I've done all that, tried to go to college. I've done that. I've got both sides of the coin. And I am— I can promise you that I am so much more busy nowadays. I don't even see every email or message message I get. It's literally impossible for me to reply to them all. This one I just came across by luck, and you know, I said most of the day I'm replying to clients, doing our plans, replying to companies, arranging brand deals, photoshoots, video shoots, patching orders, printing labels, going to the post office, planning my speaking events, doing the actual events, college talks, podcasts, interviews, appearance, writing speeches for said events, editing videos, editing pictures, updating my website, making sure it is working properly. It got hacked at 1 AM the other night. I had a freaking anxiety attack. Recording content, coming up with video ideas. I could really We go on, and of course I have to stay in shape during all of this. My physique does reflect my business. So literally taking a day off is not an option for me. I work through the weekends. I even work on holidays. You guys see that. I literally shut the camera off for hours and just go on my laptop. And that also is kind of what I said to him. A lot of what I just mentioned there is just literally me sitting on my laptop, not speaking. So I can't vlog that. I can't record that. It's just boring. And if I start putting up boring content, of course my business would decline as well. But I actually thought that was like a really good topic, and I just wanted to say that do not think for a second you're gonna build your dream life without putting in the work, without putting in the hours, and it's not all unicorn rainbows and private jets to Monaco and hanging out with Instagram superstar fitness models. And when you are like an entrepreneur or self-employed and you do your own thing, you never have an off switch. I am constantly on. I'm constantly thinking about my business or my next move or something. Even I bring my laptop everywhere and I'm working until 3 AM some nights. That's what you don't see. And when you work like your typical conventional, uh, 9 to 5 for somebody else, you have off time. You literally, in the evening, you're like, switch off, you go home and that's it, work is over. You have the weekends where you just do whatever you want, you do not think about work. I do not have weekends, and I do not have a certain time where I switch off. Now, of course, I'm not complaining, and I would not trade it for the world, as I love my life and I love what I do. But I'm just saying, it's not as easy as it looks. I also want to add in that I'm extremely grateful too. But yeah, I think that's like a really interesting topic that I could like talk about all day. I think the topic of breaking out of society's norms, going against the traditional cycle of what to do, you know, college, job, mortgage, die, is really interesting. And on that note, I also do want to announce that at the end of March I am doing a TED Talk, TED Dublin. So yeah, that's something I'm preparing for as well and something I'm really excited about. And then my next talk is Swords Pavilion this weekend, and then after that on the 2nd of March it's Trinity College, the most prestigious college in Ireland. So like I said, I'm extremely busy these coming few weeks and I'm I'm fucking pumped. But now, that's enough talking. With all that said, it's time to go to the gym and lift some weights because that's all I do all day. Haha, joking, joking.
Where's your breath? Oh me too! Where's your breath? Ahh... Ooh mmm ahm— Where's your breath?! Aahhh mm hmm oh me too!! Where's your breath!?
Mmhmmm ahhm!
Where's your breath!?
Omiee ooo!
Where's your breath!? Hmm mm hmm hmhm ahm!
Where's your breath!? Huh huh uhmm!
Where's your Why the fuck am I waiting? I know that times can get harder.
It's natural to hate it.
I don't even bother. I know one day that I'll make it. I think my life is in order.
I just gotta keep patient.
And I know what I'm missing. So why the fuck am I waiting? I don't know. I don't know, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Why the fuck am I waiting? I don't know. I don't know, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Why the fuck am I waiting?
I don't got a lot of friends, but it don't hurt. A life like mine, man, it won't work. I'm trying to make moves all around, but I'm lost in the world. Got me feeling like Joe Dirt. I got no time for the fake friends, yeah, cause that don't really make sense. I ain't really down with anybody that'll dip from the strip as soon as my cake ends. They smile in my face, but I know that it's fake, and I know that they hate that I grind. They see me, yo, putting in work, and they know I won't stop till I'm taking what's mine. Looking for a reason to stop what I'm doing, but nothing is giving a sign. So I've been out grinding as hard as I can, 'cause you know that I'm driven to shine. I work hard so I play the part. The way laid down is a way of art. Thank God if they say I'm smart, but I still see the shade a lot. I do this shit for my whole team. Back in the day, I lived without no dream. Life went slow, felt like Cody. Now I got a vision, hooked like a dolphin, so I gotta get it, get it right now. Got some lines that I better write down.
Rather have a smile instead of my frown, but I ain't gonna smile till I'm out of my town.
Getting my crown is a short time goal. Ripping that sound with a north side flow. They're telling me, paws, to tell me the odds. Forgetting that now, but of course I know, of course I know.
Where's your breath?
Where's your breath? Where's your breath?
Alright guys, so I'm home. That was a really good workout. I really enjoyed it. And now it is time to package up some LF orders, and then I've got to go to the post office. But basically, one thing I want to show you, okay, is I'm going to be in London for a week in April, and during that time I am also going to a fitness expo called FitCon in London. Pretty sure I told you guys about it already, but I just got sent the promo video, okay, and I found this really funny. So it's like showing all the people that are going, and you know, we casually have Victor Martinez and then me on my fucking holidays, then Ronnie Coleman. Then we got Valentina as well, but it's just like putting me in the middle of Victor Martinez and Ronnie Coleman. It's just like, yeah. Yeah, we're basically the same size. Anyways, time to get on with the day. I just found that pretty funny. Printing labels, so exciting. Gotta be done though, gotta be done. All right, so just a quick update. I am gonna meet someone in Dundrum here now. We're gonna go for a mooch, which is like this froyo place. They also do like protein pancakes and stuff. It's one of my favorite places ever. And before y'all start jumping to conclusions being like, who's the date? I'm just meeting my sister, a bit of family time. Also, the blonde girl in my last video, Louise, that is not my new girlfriend. I don't have a girlfriend. You fellas have some wild imagination. All right, let's go in, let's eat. I will go for one of them. They look absolutely amazing. Absolutely delicious. I ended up ordering the protein pancakes which look insanely good and a natural born Fueller. This is like a smoothie with peanut butter in it and loads of other good stuff. So I'm going to dig into this now. This looks very good. Catch you later. So we're going to do a taste test. I would say if YouTube goes belly up, I'm going to contact Man vs. Food or the Food Network I'm just going to ask, can I be like your official food tester? I'm the guy for the job, right? But anyways, okay, okay, very, very good. Now we're going to try the pancakes. It's a big yes for me. That was a nice little way to break up the day. Now Back to work. So just a quick one for anyone new to my channel, the dietary approach that I follow would probably be best referred to as flexible dieting. So basically what that is, it is not judging foods as like good or bad, but looking at your diet as a whole in context. So 80 to 90% of my diet would consist of, you know, yeah, mostly whole foods, nutrient-dense foods, you know, lots of vegetables, but Every single day I will eat something that I love, as long as it stays within my calorie/macronutrient requirements. So I eat fro-yo, I eat pancakes, I eat pizza from time to time. Basically, the benefit of this, it makes your diet a lot more realistic, a lot more sustainable. You're gonna adhere to it, and it makes it just easier to stick to, and it just enables you to be a lot more consistent with your diet. So a lot of time people eat super clean, or like they really restrict themselves during the week, and then on the weekend they'll just go completely crazy and they'll binge on, and their calories will just go completely out of control. Some people can even develop eating disorders for being too restrictive on themselves, so I really don't advise it. Life is too short to not eat froyo and pizza. Anyways, that was just a quick little chat. Uh, I've of course done so many topics and videos on this in the past, and sometimes I forget that, you know, my new subscribers may not have seen those videos. So sometimes I just like to throw in some tips like that throughout the vlogs. All right, Hi, friendly people of the internet. It is dinner time, so let me show you what I'm making. So I put in the oven like sweet potatoes, peppers, turkey sausages, mushrooms, seasoned it with spices, and then I'm gonna have it with this side salad here as well. Okay, people, finishing up the vlog here. I'm going to put this on my laptop and start editing. To answer a few quick questions in the last video, yes, I did record and edit the entire thing myself. I use Final Cut Pro. G7X Mark II is my main camera, but I also have a Mavic Pro drone. But yeah, I'm gonna get cracking on this video now because I want to upload ASAP, as I just hate when it's been a couple days since last uploaded my video, as I just love making videos and I love clicking publish. It still hasn't got old for me. Like, every time I click publish, I still get a bit of a buzz. That's how it should be. I also want to give a big What up to 161,000 subscribers! I was meant to do like a 150K announcement, be like, yay, thank you, but we just went straight up to 161, so that is awesome. That is amazing. Keep it real until the next one. I'm out of here.
Bye!
